(Sorry if something is not clear, English is not my native language)
Hi! I've been watching your AU based on DP for a few days now, and I like it so much! And I have one question about Danny's "quirks" (I think you understand, his fangs, nausea, overregeneration, flickering, as mentioned in one of your comics) they weren't in the canon animated series itself, and I was wondering how many of these features he has and what they are in your AU?
(Please excuse me if you didn't understand something, I was using a translator!!!)
Heyo!!! I have a kind of rambling sketch post that goes over what's going on with danny in my au here!
The long-short of it is that his au quirks exist because of the effect ghostkingification had on his human body. Ghosts are projections of conciousness/emotion and after unmaking/remaking himself his human form is now a core projection that happens to be alive!
A little list of design/narrative choices:
Overall less difference between ghost and human form (this gives him cryptid/uncanny vibes)
Form manipulation as human (this is where healing comes in - he can control his human flesh like he can control his ectoplasm, its generally gross but now he's mostly invulnerable to physical harm)
Fangs in both forms bc theyre fun to draw and hot
Reduced biological cues (food/water/sleep/oxygen etc. bc he's a projection and ectoplasm is a viable energy source)
Debilitating nausea/emesis if too much ectoplasm gets into his human systems (caused by not eating/sleeping, or not taking care of himself to the point where his human biological systems can't do cellular regeneration - he can manipulate his flesh + ectoplasm can create energy, but he can't spontaneously create mass/matter so he still needs to treat himself like a living thing or suffer. Certain injury can cause this too.)
He's got some psychological and sensory differences from canon too since hes got a weird construct body, is older/more mature than a 14 year old, and has been embracing ghost culture.
Generally the changes are all based on rule-of-cool with some self-indulgent pondering to support a thread of consistency and produce angst when I want lol

Does the WoT show still have all the weird bio-essentialism wrt sex/gender and magic?
Hi - yes it keeps the saidin is for men/saidar is for women thing. It seems like they’re trying to brush over some of the issues that poses in the show. Like a lot less focus on the battle of the sexes stuff that gets very annoying in the books. I trust the writers enough that I could see the issues with it being addressed in a meaningful way later on though idk how
#hope this answers your question!#if anyone else wants to say more abt this in the replies to explain better pls feel free#wot on prime#wheel of time#ask#anon

Are the charms completely random? If you order 14 of the charms will you get all of the designs? ^-^ Just wondering. Also, what will the price range be for them?
yes it will be random since im trying to emulate the essence of playing a gachapon machine!!
there will be an option to get all 14 designs with a discounted price. i still need to work out the price range for this between taxes, production cost and the time ill spent assembling them. also because i do wanna throw in a bonus goodie in there i just need to plan accordingly 💭
the estimated price im aiming for one is 7USD right now. there will be a bundle of 6 you can get that will have a slight discount too and you can have a guaranteed outcome along with it!
edit: i should mention any estimated prices doesnt include shipping!!!
#i hope to stick with the base price as much as possible#and i thiiink it should be possible as long as outside factors doesnt screw me over#(such as tariffs. currency exchange. and most of all LOGISTICS RATES.....)#hope this answers your question!#faq

Yo are u proship ? Or like where does the shit in ur bio place u (not trying to come off as aggressive I'm just tired and curious)
I'm of the mindset where people can enjoy their ships and if I don't like the ship I ignore it and scroll past, or block if I need to. So wherever 'minding my business' puts me lol

fav brushes???? i go insane for ur stuff haufhdhhd

Here you go! These are just my CSP usuals. In photoshop, I tend to lean towards more square brushes. In procreate, I’m more likely to use hard round brushes. I could not explain to you why. It creates this really funny effect where you can tell what programs I used on different pieces, or if I swapped out at some point.
The palette knife blender is a new addition, but I’m definitely keeping it around. Color randomiser has been a staple for years, as well as imgjpg2.
#I’m sure if you go through my pieces within the last year or so you’ll definitely see s few of these pop up here and there#hope this answers your question!#for favourites… it’s definitely imgjpg2 and lasso fill#lasso fill has been a huge wrist saver (as well as its sibling lasso eraser)#the hard soft ones are really nice for lighting and also because procreate doesn’t have a gradient tool#color randomiser is also super fun for adding hues#I could also not tell you where I got like 90% of these brushes on my teachers just offload them onto me#and I love to click download on strange links#nacho the marker amiette and the oil are from the clip studio store tho!#as well as the maa blur#not art#ask

how did you start liking the lambo twins? [sideswipe and sunstreaker]
How i started to like them was when i found out rid sideswipe existed and then loved his character and found g1 sideswipe and this yellow bot who was his brother and learned alot about them :33
Funny thing about that- I'm not actually sure.
I know it was through fanfiction, however. Which means I was introduced to both the twins at the same time. I also know it was before I got my ao3 account.
I'm not exactly sure what fic I was reading when the twins caught my attention, but I do know that I was hooked. It was interesting, and I looked 'em up. They continued being interesting and I was disappointed to find the only show they were in together was Gen 1. Thus I started going out of my way to read fanfiction of them.
I think I got in pretty deep reading Take Two by padawanjinx- Which, totally recommend. Some chapters have triggers, some don't. And any of BalloonArcade's Twin stuff. Also highly recommend all that. Especially The Flat Stanley Project.
But the two have just always been neat characters and I've learned more about their canon and fanon in the years since I found them. And now I write them too!
Sunstreaker remains one of my favorite Autobots, and Sides is somewhere in the top 10. Really wish the two would show up in stuff together again.
#hope this answers your question!#my memory is completely shot#and i've been a fan of these twin terrors for years#so-#at the very least i do know i found them through fics#gonna be honest- there's a chance i do know the fic in question#but i'm also pretty sure it's twin-centric and that's why i'm hesitant to say it's that one in particular#sunstreaker#sideswipe

Hello, sorry I bothered you but I wanted to ask if you do requests for art and if so what do you accept to draw? Do you draw Oc's?
Hello!! no you don’t bother at all! I’m currently working on the requests I have, have been a little slow because of work!
But I can draw transformers characters! sfw and simple drawings of any of your favourite little guys!! I don’t draw OCs currently but probably in the future! 💗

any fun facts about the characters?
SURE! heres a few, with varying levels of seriousness:
Jeri had a goth phase that she pretends didn’t happen and would rather kill herself than be let known
Jeremy has gotten onto VOGUE thanks to Lady Lashes
Tycho and Michealwave have gotten divorced at least thrice
Clara is sick of filing their divorce papers
August has a boiling rage for Tycho and will ignore room service requests that come from his room
Michealwave has cussing disabled on his computer
Rexlas accent is specifically cockney! British slang
Manager is aroace!
Manager is in a happy loving relationship with the Casino building herself.
Simeon is a gender whatever kinda guy. Called "they" ingame but couldn't care less
August says the most insane out of pocket stuff but it only displays as [controversial.mp3] so only Clara knows
Jeri occasionally usurps Tychos conspiracy-theory-ness on accident to piss him off on purpose
"The government is TRYING to break into Heaven." "#OMG u believe in Heaven??? LOL"
Clara is a Dr. Pepper dude
Rexla skates in the now-drained pool above Jeri's room
Lady Lashes is the type of girl to go "HMPH!"

Hi!!!! I really like your art and I'm very interested in MtMtM, but I was wondering if you'd be willing to elaborate on the CW for insects? I'll get the book anyways, but I'd like to be prepared for what kinda of content I should expect on that regard. Thanks!!!
sure thing! they're a main theme in the book so they show up in various ways across many of the stories. i'll put the details under the cut for anyone who doesnt want spoilers:
sexual contact with regular insects, pseudo insect pregnancy, painful sex with a giant insect god, large insects in general, internal insects, vomitting insects, swarms of insects, a potion containing insect parts, genetalia likened to insects, killer insects and insects burrowing into wounds. as for the types, the most commonly appearing are flies, scorpions, millipedes, and fantasy hybrids with similar features. the stories with the heaviest insect themes are crystalline, horse fly, sting, and womb witch.

What do you think Regulus and Kreachers relationship was like??
I think that Kreacher and Regulus had a bond that would, most simply, be described as friendship.
In the books (OoTP), we see that Regulus has a high amount of respect for Walburga, and Sirius mentions that despite the fact that it wasn’t to the same extent, he has about the same attitude towards Orion.
However, Kreacher and Regulus are only mentioned as a whole by Kreacher himself, in the story he tells Harry, Hermione and Ron about Regulus’ death. From the story, it is clear that the two had an intimate relationship, a friendship, even, and in the Battle of Hogwarts, Kreacher was driven to fight for his late master.
Now, I think that their dynamic up to Regulus’ death was something resembling a friendship. Regulus had more respect for Orion and Walburga than for Regulus, but it was the kind of respect you offer to a superior, rather than someone who you have any sort of relationship with, which was the kind of respect he had for Regulus, and the kind of respect (neither of them, actually, for the most part) he had for Sirius.
Kreacher often stayed in the room when Regulus was reading. He was the only one allowed to come in his bedroom without permission and the only one who saw Regulus as not a device, not a heir or a spare, but as a person, which is the exact same case for R; he didn’t see K as his servant, more like his companion. He opened up to him and shared his plans, his hopes, his thoughts with him, and they trusted each other enough to go through Regulus’ death together.

🎀 scitters up to u like a buggy
hi i really really love your art!! what brush + software do you use? And your shading/reflective work on your newest piece looks divine.
goodnight <3333 🎀
YEAH A NEW ASK :D
I appreciate the kind words tbh.
Tbh it depends on what software I'm using. I use like about three of them. Like Krita, ibis paint and hipaint (tho hipaint is what I often use seeing how simple and quick to use personally. Plus it's good.)
The recent artwork was made in hipaint.
I tend to use default brushes from the app itself and some of them are from free brush samples online. Like the recent one I use Kipszsketch brushes. (One on the left) (I think I got it from gumroad)

ok i'll bite and start watching doctor who again.
any recs?
particularly of episodes to avoid if one is absolutely unable to watch anything horror-like? (i remember watching the Empty Child when i was younger and being traumatized, for example)
you are in luck. i have a whole list.
this only consists of new who episodes (because i haven't watched old who). also if you decide to rewatch the full series, keep in mind the specials are NOT skippable and in fact contain quite important moments
of course i recommend watching the whole show, but these are particularly good or important episodes!
in bold are particular highlights (as in particularly good episodes according to me) or important episodes. basically, the short list is the bold titles
this was an already-made list that i did for a friend a while ago, and it's made up mostly of standalone episodes. please tell me if you want more plot-oriented recs!
do not watch list at the end
onwards:
Episodes to watch (specifically):
S1E01 Rose (intro, good for setting up the themes and the show)
S1E06 Dalek (good, bit of plot + callback to old who)
S1E08 Father's Day (maybe hard without context?)
S2EX The Runaway Bride (2006 Xmas special, stands alone)
S3E08 Human Nature/S3E09 The Family of Blood (two-parter, maybe slightly icky for you. am willing to give you more details if you want them. watch at your own risk)
S3EX Voyage of the Damned (2007 Xmas special, stands alone)
S4E07 The Unicorn and the Wasp (just 1920s fun it's great)
S4E16 The Waters of Mars (plot-heavy esp at the end but my favourite episode ever)
S5E01 The Eleventh Hour
S5E10 Vincent and the Doctor
(moffat's seasons were very much arcs and plot-heavy)
The Day of the Doctor
S8E05 Time Heist
(s9 unwatchable without previous seasons)
S10E01 The Pilot (for the first appearance of a fun companion, not that great but it's a soft reboot so good to get back into Doctor Who)
S11E01 The Woman Who Fell to Earth
S11E04 Rosa
S11E06 Demons of the Punjab
(s12 unfortunately not that good, and s13 is a whole Thing without standalone episodes)
❌ DO NOT WATCH (if you dislike horror) ❌
S1E09 The Empty Child
S1E10 The Doctor Dances
S3E10 Blink (highlight but the weeping angels are terrifying)
S4E08 Silence in the Library/S4E09 Forest of the Dead (my 2nd favourite episode ever) (this one is definitely a bit horror. if you didn't like the empty child do not watch this)
S4E10 Midnight (psychological horror. do not watch if you have a hard time with horror. also one of the best episodes of modern who)
S5E04 The Time of Angels/S5E05 Flesh and Stone (the angels again)
S6E05 The Rebel Flesh/S6E06 The Almost People
S6E09 Night Terrors (not my thing)
S6E11 The God Complex
S10E04 Knock Knock (not that hard horror? but similar to the empty child so you probably won't like it)
⚠️ WATCH WITH CAUTION ⚠️ (i think you can watch these, but be careful)
S2E04 The Girl in the Fireplace (maybe a bit too plot-heavy?)
S2E05 Rise of the Cybermen/S2E06 The Age of Steel
S2E07 The Idiot's Lantern (not particularly great, but on this list because of a face-stealing lifeform)
S7E07 The Bells of St John (this one is safer than others on this list, but putting it here as a warning)
S7E10 Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS (not very horrifying, but better safe than sorry)
S8E08 Mummy on the Orient Express
S9E11 Heaven Sent
S10E02 Smile
#thank you so much for asking this was a pleasure to compile#❤️❤️❤️#doctor who#dw#masterpost#hope this answers your question!

Hiii very curious, as someone who has had horrific experiences with healthcare(negligence, not being taken seriously and getting worse as a result, ignoring my pain levels when being handled and hurting me more because of it, getting permanent back damage because they didn't bother adjusting the rehab to my needs and many, many more) I'm wondering, how do Sun and Moon deal with a patient that's well, not afraid of hospitals but certainly unhappy to be in one, uncomfortable and unsafe, probably grumpy about it and will most likely go "don't touch me, everytime anyone in the medical field touches me they make it worse" ?
Hii, thank you for asking!
I'm sorry you had to go trough something like that. Public hospitals tend to be like that nowadays…
Sun and Moon are accustomed with patients that are unconfortable in hospitals and by the sense of insecurity often caused by the presence of sentient robots left unsupervised inside of it.
If their patient feels like they are not safe or if they are scared, then they would try to approach them slowly and with small interactions. Small talk, making them talk about good memories or their hobbies could help the patiens loosen up.
If you don't want to be touched then they won't touch you and ask for permission if they have to.
They would immediately notify the patient of the fact that they can't administer any kind of medical treatment and there is nothing they could do but respect your boundaries to gain your trust if you don't believe them.
They were made to be their patient emotional support units, so if you want to vent they are more than happy to listen, and if you tell them your concerns and fears they'll reassure you are in good hands and that you can believe in them. If you wanted, they could report your concerns to your doctors, so you don't have to. Even though they can't see it directly, they know what the nurses and doctors are capable of just by looking at how their last patients got home happy and healthy.

does muchisute, akaza, midori, bun and benitsu dislike other Japanese people as well? as in going beyond mere dislike and internalized racism towards their own group?
Muchisute, Akaza, Benitsu, and Kanabun are pretty spiteful people. It makes sense for their characters since they're living one step away from homelessness and are being constantly exploited. Any hatred they have for their fellow man is born of lack. They hate the common man for everything he represents, for everything he has that they don't.
The freaks are the grotesque in erotic grotesque nonsense. Each one of them represents something in Japanese society that is outside the norm, and so they've been ostracized. They can't or won't contribute to society and they flaunt their abnormalities, something considered gauche.
Muchisute is undesirable because of his leprosy and would have been quarantined and forgotten because of fear of disease and disfigurement. Benitsu is promiscuous and flaunts her body and so represents sex work, Akaza is otherwise an able-bodied man but contributes nothing to society so he is a leech, and Kanabun is a hermaphrodite and doesn't adhere to any one gender.

Hey, I'm thinking of creating a chumhandle for myself, but I'm not sure what's considered a "vaild" one (other than they need to be abrivated to two letters) Do have any resource/advice?
for me when i make chumhandles, i try to make sure the two words (or compound words) i use start with either G, C, A, or T unless i'm doing something fun with it. i also personally like to google things like "uncommon words list" if i want to find something unique. that said there are no rules and you can do whatever you want forever

I have a specific howls moving castle question and you were the second person i saw in the tag, so hello! Sorry if you’ve already answered this
Maybe I missed something, idk. But. Sophie changes age a few times where it seems almost random. Is it random? Does she turn young night? Does she just change age when it is Dramatically Fitting? Is there no rhyme or reason at all? You must have these answers. If you don’t that’s okay too thank you for your time
I do have an answer, and I don't mind answering this again it's one of my favorite things in the movie.
Sophie's age fluctuates in the movie to show her own self-esteem and self-confidence levels, and to a degree her own fear. She is at her oldest when she is first cursed because she not only is terrified from the Witch of the Waste but she's at her lowest at the time of the curse. Once she starts cleaning and getting to work, her insecurity in herself subsides some and she's just a bit younger than she was before. This is why at night, when she's asleep, she goes back to her actual age because that's when she is most at peace and her insecurity isn't present. When she stands up to Suliman about Howl, her confidence is incredibly high until Suliman says she's in love with Howl, which causes her to revert back to her old self because she can't even imagine her and Howl together because of her own insecurity (which is ironic knowing Howl at this point is head over heels for her). By the end of the movie she's young again, but her hair is still gray, or "starlight" as Howl says. While she does have self-confidence in herself, she's going to carry that bit of insecurity with her always which is something we all deal with. Having her keep the gray hair shows that she's grown as a person since the start of the movie. I highly recommend watching cinema therapy's video on this, it's highly entertaining and does a much better job at explaining it from an actual therapist perspective.
A small thing I personally believe is that Sophie is able to do magic like she does in the book. In the book, Sophie has magic from the start but she does not realize she can do magic until about halfway through the book. The curse on her actually wore off a while ago in the book and because she keeps calling herself an old woman, she's continuing the curse on herself. I think this is happening in the movie as well with her age fluctuation, with her own image of herself and feelings being what changes it by her magic. There are a couple of small things in the movie that line up with Sophie's magic in the book that make me believe this, but whether it is her magic or not doesn't matter or change the theme present.
Also small thing because I just remembered this detail. Howl knows Sophie is cursed from the moment he meets her as an old woman. This is the case in the book and it's probably the case in the movie. He's a powerful wizard, of course he can see there's a curse on her. If Calcifer knows she's cursed by looking at her and Howl can tell Turniphead is cursed by looking at him, then it's not a stretch to say he can see she's cursed too. Sophie finding this out in the book is one of my favorite scenes alsdjf
#hope this answers your question!#seriously though the cinema therapy video is great#their whole channel is great#hmc#howls moving castle#howl's moving castle
