Hi I’ve been replaying black myth wukong and rewatching the monkie kid show (as well as watched the other monkey king films XD)

I was wondering do you have any tips on making a oc ? (If not no worries hope your doing ok 💗)

Omggg ive been binging Wukong films too 😭😭 unfortunately i lost all motivation for LMK cuz of college ARGHH ILL TRY TO GATHER MORE MOTOVATION FOR IT THOUGHT AAARGSHGS

Also i definitely can share how i make my ocs!! but im not a professional so gather as much info from others as u can too!!♡

Read as much information as you can around the main story that you want! Knowledge is power ofc, and try to make your oc relevant to it if you want! Irrelevant is also okay, theres AUs for that

Create your oc based on a few characters, aka make a moodboard about them!! Gather little ideas you have and write them down, doodle them, etc. Personally i like to create Pinterest boards and spotify playlist!

Making a shuffle/rough compilation of images to create how you want your ocs to look like also helps! Incase you cant draw!

Use the characters they're based on as a guideline on making your oc's personality! This applies if you've designed how they're going to be but have a hard time fleshing them out.

When drawing the oc, especially historic ones. Make sure to do research on the clothings, garments, cultural tradition, etc. This would help a lot in inspirative way and insightful way! Or if the main plot has a certain artstyle that simplifies every character, be sure to apply that to your oc!

Doodle your oc a lot, preferably their interactions with their s/o or the canon characters

If you're unsure with their design, you can do a "pattern" design or "silhouette" check!

Pattern - the oc has a certain pattern or motifs thats repeated in their design, like suklha having more sharp lines in her design or characters that has inward motifs tend to be introverted.

Silhouette - make sure to doodle your oc in a silhouette. Like a splash art for your oc, to see if they're distinguishable compared to others!

Make sure your oc isn't "perfect" a flawed one is more realistic and fun to do crackheaded memes on 🫣 also might be a good time to use your own habits and telepathically give it to ur ocs its fun i swear-

Lastly, dont be afraid to show others your ideas! There are people who would love to hear about their plots, ideas and personality! I was hesitant to share about suklha at first, but seeing people liking her made me happy!! Let us see the beautiful works that you've fermented in your mind 🥺💕

Also this is just MY preference, but i tend to like characters that have unique traits! Like color palettes, Attributes, habits, physical traits. I've created a few ocs that has questionable personality, but they're so fun! 😭 just be sure not to stray too far so others can imagine how they're like

The god of the sea cautiously observed the young woman beside him. (Y/N), the one with such lively and hypnotizing eyes, was chatting so pleasantly with the one who in another life killed her in the Ragnarok.

Poseidon had finally "awakened", his soul finally remembered everything; Hades somehow had to do with this. Since he "woke up" he didn't know whether to be humiliated, angry or horrified, maybe all three, when he knew what his life was... his life.

In personality he hadn't changed that much, maybe a little more humble or empathetic (but, not a big change either); which would make it easier not to seem strange. What really surprised him was (Y/N).

He didn't know whether to classify her as reckless or stupid, though seeing how she gets along with the once Sasaki... he'd venture to say both. Even the "samurai" himself would make comments about it, sometimes earning a jab.

Though... that didn't stop her from grabbing his hand and kissing the blond's cheek, nor did it stop her from sitting on his lap and laying her head on his chest, much less stop her from sleeping next to him and chatting about her day and asking about his.

There were things that Poseidon did automatically, either to avoid the tedium of his human self or out of instinct. But with (Y/N)... it was something between instinct and something voluntary.

His first reactions when she grabbed his hand were to push her away with contempt... but his damned body did not react or bring the girl closer to him. It was true that the mind of his human "I" did not detect him as an intruder, indeed, day after day he was gaining more control over body and mind; however, his body did know that he was some kind of intruder and one who wanted to hurt someone important.

Those first days with (Y/N) were... frustrating, now she enjoys being in his company a bit. Although he won't admit it if Sasaki finds out that he's "back" or if he "comes back"... that really his life was lonely.

And, for the first time in his? existence, he prayed to the gods that he (Y/N) would not discover his past life, that Sasaki would not "come back", because that woman is quite capable of forcing him to admit that the Japanese was right.

How is it that such a small and fragile creature could dominate the once tyrant of the seas? Moreover, how could his human "I" allow himself to be commanded?

Esos primeros días con (Y/N) fueron... frustrantes, ahora disfruta un poco en estar en su compañía. Aunque no lo admitirá si Sasaki descubre que ha "vuelto" o si el "regresa"... que realmente su vida era solitaria.

Y, por primera vez en su... existencia, rezaba a los dioses a que (Y/N) no descubriera su vida pasada, que Sasaki no "regresara", porque esa mujer es muy capaz de obligarlo a admitir que el japonés tenia razón.

¿Cómo es que tan pequeña y frágil criatura podía dominar al alguna vez tirano de los mares? Es mas ¿Cómo su "yo" humano se dejaba mandar?

- They say that opposites attract, so with your laid back personality and Uvogin’s more excitable, active nature, you and him actually compliment each other very well. He can definitely bring out your spontaneous side, and can turn any boring day into something much more entertaining. As you for, you’re able to bring out a much more calmer side in Uvogin, one that not many people get to witness.

- Some of the quiet days include the two of you guys just cuddling together, something that the two of you both enjoy doing. While you’re laying on his chest, taking in the warmth his body and the safeness of his arms delicately wrapped around you, Uvogin enjoys the sight of seeing how you’re so comfortable with him. When thinking about the two of you in this moment, it’s a little bit of a shock to Uvogin of how he, an 8′5 brute of a man, ended up with someone so small and.. overall the opposite to him. Then again, he’s not complaining whatsoever. 

- Uvogin loves giving you little head rubs and messing up your hair. It’s one of his ways of saying “aw you’re cute”, and is usually followed with a smile.

- Being that you love nature, he’ll sometimes give you some flowers when he finds them outside. And by flowers, he means whole rose bushes Uvogin picked probably from someone else’s property.

- He’ll come home announcing how he’s brought you something nice, and once you come around to see what he’s talking about, the first thing you’ll notice is the trail of dirt that followed Uvo on the floor. After looking back up, you’ll then see your boyfriend’s wide grin as he’s holding two rose bushes that have been freshly ripped from the ground in his grasp. I mean... it’s the sentiment that counts, right?

- With the height difference, trying to keep up with Uvogin when he’s walking is almost impossible. He doesn’t want to slow down either, so instead, Uvogin just offers to carry you/ give you a piggy back ride!! Gestures like this are very frequent with him. Plus, he doesn’t mind at all (and who are you to refuse a piggyback ride from your boyfriend 👀??).

- At night whenever you guys are out, sometimes he offers to go to take in the sights of the town/ city. But, since it’s Uvo we’re talking about, ‘taking in the sights’ doesn’t mean going on some easily little stroll. What he REALLY mean’s is you on his back while he’s jumping from building to building. As crazy as it sounded at first to you, Uvogin was dead serious when he first asked about it.

- Once you said yes, little did you know about all the FUN you were going to have with that night. Though you were grasping onto his neck for dear life, you had to admit, the chance to be on the back of your giant boyfriend as he was jumping from rooftop to rooftop was an experience you’d never forget. He promised to never let go of your legs the whole time, and though it might’ve been a bit scary at first, you trusted him. The stars that twinkled above you along with the pleasant breeze that brushed against your skin made everything much more enjoyable as well. 

- Your relationship can be compared to yin and yang. With his excitable personality, there is the calmness that you have the ability to bring out in him. With your laid back nature, there’s that dynamic side in you that Uvo can also increase. He has such an immense amount of love for you that it makes that man want to randomly scream your name out loudly just to show it (and he probably has). To finally conclude, Uvogin couldn’t have had a better girlfriend to have by his side.
