“I’m not scared.” Katsuki snaps at you. His shoulders are tense, though, and you can hear the irregular jump of his heart. You can see the color in his cheeks, too.

“I didn’t say you were.” You counter, quirking a brow.

“Then—just fucking—do it.”

Your smile is an amused curl; a cat that has got its angry, little canary.

“Easy, tiger.” You respond, “I’m not a barbarian. I don’t want to—“

You search for the right words, humming.

“Make a mess of you.”

Katsuki swallows hard, eyes as red as a rose, flickering up to your face.

“You’re dragging this out.” He accuses.

“I’m trying to be considerate.” You counter, stepping towards him. You step up in front of him, towering over him so that he has to tip his head up to look at you. It exposes the column of his throat. He spreads his legs a little, just fractionally, but you take that as invitation; you stand between his knees and gaze down at him.

(And really, he just thinks you’re playing with your food.)

“It’s fine,” he grunts, leaning back, “just—quit taking so long.”

You tsk, “and here I thought I’d be the impatient one. You’d think you’re the one who hasn’t eaten in days.”

“Keep wasting time and I’ll retract my agreement to this.” He snaps.

You sigh, but finally bring your knee up to settle on the couch outside of his own leg.

And just like that, you’re straddling his waist.

His hands hover, uncertain for a moment.

Oh, his poor heart.

You can hear it jump and pump and gush, quickening, tempo rising. Your mouth waters.

You touch his jaw delicately.

His hands settle tentatively on the flare of your waist.

You tip forward, eager, suddenly starving when you catch the river of a vein in his throat. Your nose nudges gently at his jaw, down to his neck. You try to control yourself. His hands squeeze uncertainly at your waist.

“Hold still for me?” You murmur.

He inhales sharply, in hot pain, when your teeth bare down on the tender line of his throat.

You groan.

His hands grasp at you, bruising, and tight. You think he can’t decide if he’s trying to get away or nearer to you.

He thrashes a little, contrary to your request, and you press harder into his shoulders. You urge him to sink back into the couch—it should only be another moment before—

His muscles, large and threatening, suddenly slacken.

His head lolls backwards a little and you catch it carefully. Cradle it like a babe.

Blood is warm and heady on your tongue.

You detach yourself only to look at his face for a moment. His eyes are dilated and hazy, heavy-lidded. Such a strong and stubborn man, such an uptight and difficult man, now soothed. Now putty in your hands.

“There,” you praise, “just lay back and relax. I’ll take care of you now.”

And this time, when you latch onto his neck, it’s his hand, broad and warm, that comes up to cradle your skull.

To hold you in place.

Your smile curves against his bloodied skin.

A cat that’s caught its canary.

This 4th of July I’m stealing the patriotism euphoria that’s usually associated with assholes idolizing the worst attributes of this country because fuck ‘em I live here too and remembering the things this country actually got Right is an important exercise when trying to rally anyone to want to defend it in November SO putting my money where my mouth is I’ll start easy and say I really like National Parks!! It’s rad how many of them there are and how they’re actual set up to preserve some of the most beautiful wild areas in our country while still letting people visit to enjoy and experience nature!! (Less important but I love how they put national parks on the quarters I think that’s real fun)

I don’t think she’s consistently good tbh, she’s very slow and seems hesitant during big plays more than not. I feel like there are other players that could be put in her position and consistently play better.

Also, the way she’s talked about US soccer fans is super disrespectful and rude, and her shitty apology only makes it worse. It gives off v elitest vibes, which is awful considering you’re captain of the USWNT, you know? Idk if it’s poor media training or what. she’s also never the team spokes person when the team has a shitty game or a bad moment, it has consistently gone to other players and that doesn’t make sense to me if she’s the captain. this might change during the emma hayes era but I don’t think it will, considering girma was pulled for that interview just before half time and not lindsey.

all in all, there’s several different reasons plus she just bothers me as a person.

once again, quackity is a insane creator who works really hard to introduce new things on what started as a simple minecraft server, take a moment to check all we have to follow qsmp:

—youtube account for funny moments with good quality of editing and a recapitulation for the lore of the server since day one.

—twitch account to enjoy streams of more lore of the federation's side!

—a big international event to introduce more creators in different languages, as a pause to enjoy more hardcore events than lore ones if you prefer.

—exclusive art made for qsmp! the admins work hard to create specials draws to decor the server and share with us, renders for the events like posters, animations and minecraft wonderful constructions.

—a new page exclusive for qsmp information if you're new or you are losing some things.

—soon, a new page and tool to translate creator's streams in your language, so you can't have limits to enjoy new people on twitch!

—support for fan artists! they share fan artist’s work in special movies nights and a exclusive museum.

i adore that, i can get any representation of qsmp, i can follow everyday streams to follow the server or just the youtube videos or some moments and don’t feel like you have to consume everything to feel accepted on this community. quackity made a wonderful thing with this project on introducing languages, cultures and features to everybody without asking anything, just support and respect.

i’m so impressed too with how he manage to get such a hardworking admins too, people who made an amazing work on everything, the small details they put makes all this so heartwarming.

You know that feeling, when you’re listening to someone tell a story, and you can just feel in your gut that what actually happened is SO much darker than how they’re relaying it? And they’ve put a ton of effort in, right, to sand the edges down. They’ve gone over it a hundred times, beating all the wrinkles out, practicing like you’d practice a presentation or a stand-up routine. By the time they tell you the story, it’s perfect. You can’t help but be charmed by it. Can’t help but laugh at all the little silly bits. Can’t help but see it the way they want you to, so you don’t ask questions, you don’t dig in to the open wound just behind the plaster, you don’t let the certainty that it was Bad, Actually sweep you away. It’s just a fun anecdote now. Smile with them. Laugh with them. They’re here now, so it’s fine, right? Right?

I get the feeling that’s just Simone’s entire marriage to Taissa, and I feel so fucking bad for them both.
