Anyway your other ask (a very yummy summation of Jo's perspective, at that) reminded me, the other day I bothered to watch The Eye Scene in-context for the first time probably since I last finished the game... they really had my man groveling second thing in the morning (first thing was finding out Arakawa was dead)...

But it got me thinking the plans for that meeting were probably in place for a while, since it was chiefly just about the dissolution, basic conflict resolution on Arakawa's behalf, y'know, covering for him... maybe Jo wouldn't have freaked out like that if Arakawa were still around, or at least if he hadn't had to sit and listen to all this commentary before having a chance to process anything...

Also it still makes me kind of mad that Ishioda is addressed as the second patriarch instead of Jo, even if I know it's a loc thing to some degree...

so anyway she is spending the night on the grounds that i go with her tomorrow to back her up. and i love her but drunk!her is emotional and a little unsettling sometimes. but i havent seen her this year yet so im not gonna complain (much. not outside this post and texts i sent my josh anyway. her dude's name is also josh. the fuck)
