So yeah - this is the thirteen 'stickers' I will be working on finishing now :3 Feel free to let me know if you'd like me to submit the finished versions seperately or in combilations like this one :3 I might also soon make a post about what sort of rendering you'd prefer for them so keep in touch if you have an opinion there if not that's okay too <3

So, over the time I've come back here, I've become pretty confident and proud of my once hidden passion about sick characters, sickfics and sick comfort/whump... 🌡️

So here's the challenge and the rules!! (featuring my two main lil targets ofc :3)

If you're in the RainCode community you can target anyone, but as you know, my main targets are Yuma and Makoto. If they're also your faves and who you decide to use, that will make me extra happy!

Some tips for anyone new to drawing a sick day scenario art. A few things that make it look convincing are the following:

Pajamas or Loungewear

Messy Bed Hair

Fever flushed face w sweat or at least a red nose

Tired Eye bags

Shivery body

Ice Pack or a Compress on the head

Thermometer sticking from their mouth

LOTS OF BLANKETS

Tissues or medicine surrounding them

Tea or Soup (or both)

Those are just to name some from the top of my head. If you'd like some pointers on how to make a character look ill, check out my Fever Coloring Guide. This is for digital artists but traditional artists can try it too!

You can add injury or angst to the scene but I'd like illness to be the main focus of it.

The scene can be anything you want to, it can be fluffy and wholesome (with a caretaker) it can be angsty, or it can be silly. Its all up to you! Do it for the sake of fluff! Caretaking scenes are the best for any kind of relationship >w<

Either way, have fun with it!! I look forward to see what people make if they decide to give it a try! It doesn't even have to be a full on picture! Doodles and sketches are fine too! Just show me something >w<

Hey! That ask you answered about protective Yo Han reminded me of this gem from the script book. I don't know if you're interested in anything script-related, but in case you are, here it is. A slightly different way the scene in E3 was supposed to go, when Yo Han came to the factory and attacked the man who put a bomb in the painting. (Also, 'forced' means 'Yo Han', all translators use this word instead of his name for some reason).

Personally, I loved the "do you know who you hurt?", the madness "increasingly" filling Yo Han's eyes, and him glaring at K when he asked if this was about Ga On. I'm amazed that he got so protective of him so quickly, it's just E3. To think of what he'd do post-canon... thank God (and you, of course!) for your amazing story. I can't tell you how much I'm waiting for everything you're going to bring down on us.

I haven't gone out of my way to look for the script, no, but I do read the little snippets I might run into on Tumblr and such. So I'm not NOT interested? But also too lazy to go look for it xD

And, tbh, I don't want to accidentally mistake something that was written in the script — but then taken out — as something that actually happened in canon. I have a really good memory but I don't always remember WHERE I read/saw/heard a specific fact so there's a chance I might mistake it as a part of canon even if it's not x'D

But, all that said, I am FASCINATED by this new information, not going to lie. I think that the increasing madness was still captured pretty well in the final version, but the "Do you know who you hurt?" Oh yes, I'm into that. Because while it COULD still just mean that Yo Han is referring to himself, I like that it leaves room for speculation. Very nice.

Though, at the same time, I feel like I have to be a responsible person and point out that, most likely, the reason why Yo Han reacts so violently as early as episode 3 is probably because of Isaac, not Ga On. Like, at that point, I think Yo Han is still struggling a bit with separating the two. Not that he ever mistakes them for each other, obviously, but it's probably a little disorienting until he gets to know Ga On better and can see all the differences more clearly. So it wouldn't surprise me if some of that protectiveness is because Ga On looks like Isaac, at least this early. It brings back very bad memories, and all.

But post-canon? That protectiveness would be for Ga On only. And, as always, Yo Han would hold nothing back.

And we will be exploring that a bit in Who Holds the Devil, yes. Not quite on the level of "I'm going to bring the entire country to its knees," but hopefully still enough to satisfy everyone's need for protective Yo Han ;)

❧ Yuzuru just can't afford to take his eyes away from you due to constant worry. If he were to focus on the cooking more, he's afraid that you would mistakenly use sugar in place of salt. This results in him guiding and correcting you instead of actually doing any cooking.

❧ The cooking process of a simple dish would take much more time than needed, thanks to you. Yuzuru does have moderate patience, which he would rather not waste. A mere sigh indicates he still has plenty of patience, but if you happen to insist on adding energy drink to the soup broth, expect a grip on your wrist with a threatening smile on his face.

"For the sake of you, me, and whoever will eat your cooking, [y/n]-sama, please listen to me and follow the recipe as it is."

❧ Unlike Yuzuru, Ibara doesn't have the time and patience to deal with the potential disaster of having you cook. Given his tight schedule, he doesn't have time to teach you how to cook properly. He would rather cook for you and Nagisa by himself to save time and effort.

❧ The first and last time he let you make an attempt in cooking, he managed to stop you before you set things on fire. He ushered you to go and wait while he prepares the food, subtly kicking you out from the kitchen to prevent you from making the foodstuffs inedible. As a safety measure, he would never allow you to step into the kitchen again. Never again.

"What the– What do you think you're doing?! This is a kitchen, not a battlefield!!"

❧ The amount of cooperation you and Subaru have would win you a pair cooking competition... if both of you are good at cooking, that is. The problem is, that's not the quality that you two have. Instead, your ability to come up with wild ideas will only destroy the dish you're making. Hopefully not the kitchen, too.

❧ As long as you have Subaru, edible glitters and gold leaves aren't exclusively used as decoration for cakes any more. It's only a matter of time until he chimes in with more ingredients. The more sparkles the food has, the better. Let's not talk about if it's edible, though.

"[y/n]! I brought sparkling water! It's better than regular water because it's sparkling, right?"

❧ Tomoya might only be a starter, but he is definitely trying his best. He paid a serious attention to the recipe, measuring everything carefully while avoiding causing any unnecessary mess. Slowly, he got over the overwhelming feeling of learning about different types of flour and measurement utensils, which are confusing at first.

❧ The moment he notices you dumping way too much butter and cream, his expression is immediately filled with dread. He mentally facepalmed at the wrong cups that you use to measure the amount of things you need, before reprimanding you to pay attention and follow the recipe. The way he scolds you bluntly is enough to enlighten you, and yet not to the point of sounding rude.

❧ Fortunately, with the help of Tomoya, redemption for your mistake(s) is not beyond possibility. He assisted you in scooping out the excess ingredients before it's too late. The failures don't discourage him from doing another trial until he gets the food right, but he would appreciate a proper guidance next time.

"It's okay, [y/n]! We make mistakes sometimes. Just don't forget to use this cup to measure butter, okay?"

❧ This one cooking session with Rinne is, needless to say, catastrophic. Chaos, chaos ensues. Burning kitchen scene, yes. Who proposed the idea again? Of course, Rinne wouldn't pass up a chance to gamble, especially when it can boost his ego. He easily agreed to bet on whoever is more impressive at cooking, especially when he knows you can't cook quite well.

❧ Rinne might have seen Niki cook a few times, but that means nearly nothing if he never actually tried to cook by himself. The whole cooking session is filled with you and Rinne showing off your "impressive cooking skills" instead of making an edible dish, there is no telling that the giant fire plume was actually an attempted flambé. If no explosion happened in the process, then consider it as a miracle.

❧ At this point, the competition is more about who is less bad at cooking. No one would win, by the way. Ibara would ensure that the two of you pay for the damages, and there is no escaping it. Overall, it's absolutely not a recommended bonding session.

"Argh, whatever! Why do you even need to cook when you have Niki around?!"

Okay, so first time in a long time tackling a monthly challenge, I'll go ahead and make cumulative weekly posts here for Smaugust (2024). Just having fun, not trying to impress anyone, but I also want a convenient place to come back to it. =v=; General Warning: Creativity is not my strong suit, but I've tried not to be too predictable.

Day 1: Fruit — A scorpion pepper dragon. Peppers are fruits, technically, but I tried to mix it up by having this dragon be super chill, or at least lazy. It's content to be left to its naps as it overheats easily in its hot, arid environment, being more active at night, and even then, not too active. XD I can expand on lore for this, but keeping things simple for now.

Day 2: Ash — medieval/monk illustration inspired, apologies

For this one, I took a photo of the ash tree out front, and used its outline to create a cloud-breathing false hydra of sorts. Sad hypothetical story time: in reality, this is a mass of separate serpents all coiled up together and spewing thick vapors to obscure what lies at its center. These are the various children of an immortal great mother serpent, of whom all that remains is her head. They wouldn't leave her behind, and their home has decidedly not been safe since the incident; they carry her with them everywhere, hiding in misty places and masquerading as a large tree.

Day 3: Storm — I defaulted to scenic, because design on the word storm alone, I was really struggling with. Have a storm drake-like thing. ^^' I created pale yellow glows that shone through and lit up surrounding foliage as it stalks and prepares to attack something. I also let the colors that come to mind with dark clouds and stormy nights take this thing over completely. Fun experiment. C'X

Day 4+5: Fossil+Hybrid — this doesn't bode well, having to combine to make up for lost days this early. >v<; Here, though, have the unholy spawn of anatomically-somewhat-accurate Aerodactyl and the proportions and vibe of an Azhdarchid. I adore these pterosaurs on an aesthetic and imaginative level... would just about wet myself in fear if faced with one. Maybe someday I'll come back to prompts like this and actually put some respectable time into posing and rendering, but for now, just quick ideas for fun. :3

Day 6: Mist — WHOOPS, I missed one - adding this one in belatedly, but it was done on time... might have overlooked this because it really was thrown together in a hurry, and highly self-indulgent. Like, more than most of these. ^^' Have a cotton ball mass of dragon that curiously rolls up on little towns at pre-sunrise hours, especially at the base of mountains. It's a lazy and harmless enough creature, but it has a way of scaring little ones sh*tless, just the same. The sun rays coming through don't hurt it, luckily, but it does add to the "be not afraid" vibes. X'D

Day 7: Striped —Along with nostalgic inspiration of a friend's character, I based this one on a Cheshire Cat vibe, spiraling shapes vaguely snuck in. I'm still having much too much fun with the rough wash brush... but that's what I've decided to do this whole month, is have fun. ^^ Hopefully you're having a nice day!

Hi, on anonymous because I'm shy, but a while ago, I saw your discord status talking about Genshin Impact, and I was wondering what you thought of it. Sorry if that's intrusive! I really like that game and wanted to know.

Genshin, yes (or Genshion, as I accidentally typo-ed it in my status and people were so kind to point out x'D). So my status said I was giving the game another try after leaving my account to rot for almost two years.

I made an account back then and tried to play but was so overwhelmed by it, I didn't find much enjoyment in it. I tried it long enough to get my adventurer rank to 7 or something, but I struggled hard with wrapping my head around the gameplay style. So I left it to the side.

Cue last week, when I brushed off my account and gave it another go.

Day one was hell: I had NO idea what was going on, I didn't remember anything, and once again I struggled with getting a hang of the playstyle. I was having no fun and decided to give up.

Day two was... okay: I figured I gave up too easily the day before and wanted to give the game another chance. It's a pretty game with nice designs and scenery, I like the soundtrack, and if so many darn people like it, then surely I'm not doing something right. I got some online assistance and slowly started to understand how the heck to play it.

Day three was actually fun: Finally, after trying for hours, I was starting to have fun. I could progress, I didn't keep getting my ass handed back to me, I dared to explore and got a better taste of the story. Beating harder mobs/bosses felt really good.

From here on in, the game has been rather enjoyable, but I have hit the "grind wall" now where I need to grind for level boosts, food materials, and other items to upgrade weapons and artifacts, and to ascend characters and weapons so they can gain higher levels. My "main-ish" team is now all in the level 33 brackets and my Adventurer rank/level is 22, so I've been doing okay, I guess xD

I'm still not that great at switching out party members to create elemental chain reactions or what-have-you for good damage; I'm not used to this kind of playstyle, especially this fast-paced, but I'm trying. I usually just go into fights with Xiangling and wreck things (most of the time). Takes a bit longer than it should but it works.

I think the game is pretty alright. I didn't have a high opinion of it before, but that was mostly because my own experience with it was pretty shit. It has a nice story, pretty graphics and a wonderful soundtrack. I like to explore and glide, I think those are my favorite parts of the game, and I do smile when I'm interacting with other characters.

Things I still don't like very much are:

The English voice acting. Some of the voices are pretty grating to listen to, while others sound very forced (aka not genuine or natural). Hopefully this is just throughout the "beginning" of the game and people ease into it better later on. I am considering downloading the Japanese voice-acting pack though.

Being forced to stick with the gender of the Traveler you picked at the very start and being unable to customize their appearance. I'm not going to make a whole new account just to switch gender for aesthetic reasons. Still sucks that this isn't something that can be changed, at all.

Adventurer level hurdles. I hate you... Just let me progress through the story, don't make me wait and grind.

Ice. The Ice element is my worst enemy and the mountain area can fek right off.

Can I have some more dudes on my team? Thanks.

I will say that the urge to make a Genshin OC is there but I feel like I don't have a good enough grasp on the game, the setting and the story yet to justify it. We'll see.

right now i'm pretty exclusively reading McShep fics, but we'll see how that looks once i'm done with sgu x'D if you have any recs, please feel free to share!

Hi again!! Second ask incoming to tell you about my MCs, YES multiple!! I don't normally make multiple MCs for the same IF (only three others) but all the different fantasy race types and matching certain ones up with different ROs has got me doing it!!

ANYWAY lol, my first MC is a Moon Rabbit spirit, mostly the soft-spoken diplomatic type. She's a scholarly/elemental?? cultivator, the one that fights with a fan, is very pretty, and is romancing the Unicorn! Like me, is very much 'must protect!! they're too good for this world, too pure' to characters like the protagonist, and had a crush on them before she died. So when she gets this opportunity she wants to befriend and protect them like a knight in shining armour, and hopefully win their love lol.

My second MC is a Water Dragon spirit and this MC is gonna represent why you SHOULD keep the prince/princess as an arranged marriage. Why? Making this MC canonically Ugly as a human (when in dragon form though, the most beautiful dragon ever though lol). Not only the power high I feel as a player when a powerful + hot + charismatic character falls in love with someone unattractive is ASTRONOMICAL. This MC is going to be a physical cultivator, will mostly be the awkward type and the conflicting thoughts this MC is gonna have about the 12th wanting to marry them like 'is this a prank of some sort, why would a royal want to marry me?? I'm Hideous, this has to be a joke. But no, to debase themselves by pretending to want to marry someone like me for a joke is too unlikely. Ah...they just want my power as a cultivator that must be it, but why not just hire me as a bodyguard in that case?' And on and on, poor MC...12th Royal will have to Prove their Love. But when MC finally DOES believe them and DOES return their feelings and when 12th Royal's feelings only grow stronger as they get to know MC as a person!!! If they hear a person talking badly about MC because of their looks and the royal is either just like 'you are entitled to your wrong and bad opinion' to that person with a smile on their face AND THEN ruins their life from shadows. OR goes off on a tangent on why MC is the Most Perfect Person Alive and True Beauty is not just skin deep blah, blah, blah, publicly humiliates that person, and then STILL ruins their life. Chef's kiss delicious scenario.

Then finally my third MC is going to be a Dream Demon, average/ordinary attractiveness, a musical cultivator (I'm not sure which instrument yet, all three options you gave intrigue me, leaning towards either erhu?? or guqin though), mostly the stoic type, and will be romancing the Hermit.

And that's what I have so far, can I just say though I did see the two new ROs and the Snake Demon being suspicious...Normally suspicious type of characters like those are like the right-hand-person of the of Main Good Guy in things so I'm always like 'you Do Not Need to be suspicious of me!!!' But this time. This time the suspicious character is right to be suspicious of me. Gonna betray the evil teacher Three Times. X'D

So this ask made me real happy. Thank you for sending me a description of your MCs! They all sound great and I'm glad people are showing interest in other romanceable character besides the Shizune. Especially that people are thinking of romancing the Hermit. They are the nerdiest of all the ROs and I have a soft spot for their socially awkward ass.

So sorry for such a late reply work has been crazy the last couple of days and haven't had the time to atcually sit and type lengthy messages lol

I like that idea with Zoe and meds, that could be very interesting!! So the same night I sent you that message I had a dream about an idea for it all (go figure right?) So now I'm kind of deciding between your idea and what my sleepy mind came up with :') My minds idea was that Josh and Jim were super close growing up but a year before events that I will explain Jim had a case and it really got to him and he started missing his sons games/band gigs etc cause he had to help the victim now Jim would miss things with his kids here and there and they understood but this was constant he eventually did catch the guy and whilst the kdis were mad they thought things would now be back to normal but it wasn't to be as Jim was so affected by the case cause the victim died before he could save her and get her husband so he went further and further into his cases instead of getting help and became more and more distant and Josh was especially affected cause whilst he loved his mum and sisters he needed his dad so he started rebelling not caring so much about school, hanging around the wrong kind of kids.. Then came a case about an abused child who was around Zoe's age and Jim wasn't going to let anything more happen to her so he fought and fought and then one night when he found out the father had yet again done something to the little girl he lost it and beat the guy but didn't kill him but hospitalized him but the guy ended up dying and Jim was charged with murder even believing that he had to of done it as he beat him so bad.. A few years passed and the wife of the deceased guy admitted to her close friend it had been her who had killed her husband she had been so scared to stand up to him he beat her and her little girl and she was so ashamed she didn't have the guts to stand up to him for her and she saw an opportunity to finally get him away from them both and she took it and eventually all this got back to the law enforcement and Jim had to be released from jail..and then comes the move cause Jim can't work where he use to anymore with eeyrbody looking and they don't want to stay in town anymore and yeha hopefully this makes sense and even sounds ok cause i've just pretty much rambled this out as i'm a tad tipsy right now so it's a miracle I got this far x'D

Oh, wow!! I finally got a chance to sit down and read all of this, and ohhhhh my goodness my heart!!! It makes so much sense, though, and I can totally see that. ;-;

So I was today years old when I found out that It Had to Be You has a Christmas themed sequel and I’m in awe. Personally, I prefer canon compliants stories, but your AUs are really, really good and I think IHTBY is probably my favorite sokkla modern setting. Do you think you’ll come back to it? Not now of course, I suppose you’re too busy with Gladiator. But maybe someday in the far future we could know how was the Christmas Eve in which Sokka’s parents got to meet Azula’s family.

Sooo... yeah. IHTBY has a Christmas sequel that was never finished because I am a bit hopeless about fully committing to writing it. I've made occasional progress with it, there's at least one scene and a half more than what I posted when I did (maybe there's more and I just don't remember?), and I should definitely finish it someday, but I'm, again, a bit hopeless and get dragged into certain other life-consuming ventures that then distract me entirely from this particular AU I'm very fond of.

I like canon compliance/divergence quite a lot, too. It's really fun to see how different certain stories can be when you change just a small element to create something different, no matter how similar to the original concept it may turn out to be. But strangely, I've reeeeally found myself enjoying the modern AUs I've written ever since I wrote IHTBY? I've never been the sort to dislike modern AUs on principle, it can be fun to explore them, but I definitely didn't anticipate that I'd have that much fun writing them. IHTBY was written in less than one week because I was sooo possessed by the idea that I couldn't focus on anything else until I finished it. It really had a spark of something special that I've hoped to capture in my other modern AUs, too.

But yeah, I'd definitely love to finish exploring how things turn out in this story. I have a pretty clear idea on where it would go next, but I would definitely have to make myself do it. One day, hopefully :D

To be honest, that's no guarantee I will end up in that same rabbit hole x'D I mean, yes, I'm hesitant to watch it because there's a possibility I'd get really invested, but I'm also a fickle bitch who can react in the oddest of ways to certain media.

Like, The Untamed? LOVE that drama. Hands down one of my absolute favourites of all time. I love the world, the characters, the story, the relationships, the aesthetics, and pretty much everything about it.

And yet, despite all that, I have zero interest in writing or reading fanfics, reading the book, watching the animated version, or digging through lore/meta/theories. I am so perfectly satisfied with the story I got through that drama that I have nothing I want to add or expand on.

Despite loving the source material to absolute bits, I never really joined the fandom and probably never will.

Please don't think I'm saying this to be edgy or contrarian, though. It's just that if the drama is good and entertaining enough (which I've heard that Word of Honor is) I might just end up with no desire to explore it further. That's not to say that the dramas I'm writing for now are somehow faulty or incomplete, but rather that, in those, I felt I had something to add. I felt like I wanted to see how those stories would continue.

And maybe I will with Word of Honor, maybe I won't, but I've learned that I can't judge my reactions based on what everyone else finds interesting. I seem to have a completely different set of requirements before I find myself interested enough to engage with a piece of media.

I mean, the fact that I decided to write a fic that will probably end up being 100k for a fandom that has a total of 19 works at the moment (even fewer when I started writing) says a thing or two about how unpredictable and unusual my urges can be x'D

That said, thank you for the warning! If I end up not heeding it, I give you permission to tell me "I told you so" ;)
