uve heard of creelarke u've heard of hoppenzo(?) u haven't heard of [REDACTED] but u really should, now introducing the hot new old man yaoi fresh off the press, featuring a character who only exists in a few of our heads,

aka my own delusions about ted wheeler's dad (dick wheeler, just go with it) shipping off to morocco in 1942 and getting verrrry close with a blue-eyed blond dreamboat from nevada, also with a blonde wife waiting at home

#just did entirely too much reading about wwii for this post #uhhhh they were both a part of operation torch and actually scooped through north africa and italy before getting anywhere near france #they went to the beach each for the first time together and it wasn't fun #dick would talk about his son edward. victor didn't have kids yet but his wife wanted them. victor was unsure‚ afraid of becoming his dad #they didn't get to france until late 1944 and weren't there long before victor ordered that house to be shelled #caught up in his own head it wasn't long before he was injured and medically dismissed. dick stayed.#and i've decided that dick was paralyzed in some battle before he was also sent home.#dick and victor didn't really exchange information and they never saw each other again #dick went home and was confined to the bottom floor of his house with ten thousand stairs and confined to his head #he didn't last long.#dick and victor didn't keep in touch but dick had mentioned growing up in a hawkins in indiana #and when a decade and a half later victor's family needed a fresh start‚ that's where victor looked #and found a beautiful home being sold by a widow with any kids out
