went in with friends to some low cost horror games, most of them looked shitty. went in to one going "this'll either be kinda cool or really bad. It WAY exceeded my expectations. If I had even the modicum of the ability to make video games, I’d make a survival horror where you play as a D/deaf protagonist on a cruise ship or office space or something because that’s what knocking on doors felt like as a Deaf autistic teenager in school.

I’d get yelled at for coming in too early. I’d get yelled at for “not knocking”. For trying to peek through the tiny windows. For “standing creepily outside the doors”.

I still have a great anxiety about knocking.
