I have met my two best friends at horse stables and they are both cats AND THEY ARE BOTH SO LOVELY!!!!!!!!

This is Bagel and he lives at the stable my aunt goes to and he is such a sleepy boy and is so fluffy and he loves me and I love him

And this is Florence, who refused to face me for a photo, but he is so lovely nonetheless. I met him today and I saw him from a bit of a distance but he came up to me!! To be petted!!!!!! He may be my favorite cat ever, tied with Bagel and Carlos (cat who I have no photos of, but he is lovely and belongs to my "Canadian grandparents").

These cats are the loveliest guys ever and I wish I had a cat so badly!!!!!! Unfortunately half of my family is allergic to cats, including me, so. yeahb

"THORNCLIFFE STABLE DESTROYED - ONE MAN IS INJURED," Toronto Globe. August 28, 1933. Page 6. ---- A two-story stable in Thorncliffe Park was totally destroyed by fire Saturday night, causing damage estimated at between $10,000 and $12,000. Starting at 10.15 p.m., it was noticed by three employees of Connie Smythe, who has the stable under lease. While two of them were getting the lone horse, together with a cow and a calf, out of the burning building, the third man started to give the alarm, but, tripping in the darkness, suffered a severe fracture of one ankle. Illustrations above show: Upper left, one view of the razed stable; upper right, the ruins still smouldering Sunday morning; lower left, Jack Knaggs, employed at the stable, who fractured his ankle while endeavoring to notify the Fire Departments of Leaside and East York, snapped in the Toronto East General Hospital: at lower right, the other two employees, with the horse they saved from the fire. At the left is Bill James of Hamilton; at the right, Howard Pitney; between them being Big Blow, owned by Connie Smythe, the only horse in the stable.
