Hover (Revolt of Gamers), low-res pixel style!

I fell in love with this Jet Set Radio Future-inspired sci-fi parkour game earlier this year. It’s a true treasure and I’m very thankful to Fusty Game for making it. Here’s the set of named playable characters, including those that are still exclusive to high-tier Kickstarter backers.

I hadn’t thought about Hover: Revolt of Gamers, the Jet Set Radio-inspired game funded through Kickstarter back in 2014, in a while. It turns out that a) it’s in Early Access right now on Steam, b) it’ll be released officially on PC/Mac/Linux at the end of this month (Xbox and PS4 in the fourth quarter of this year, and most importantly:

c) It has a new soundtrack by Jet Set Radio composer Hideki Naganuma, including this track that is unmistakably Naganuma and undeniably a Club Banger.

A quick Greendy and Watabax, just to try another different style, from the recently released Hover: Revolt of Gamers. I picked it up because I absolutely love Jet Set Radio. It’s not quite the same, but Hover isn’t too bad on its own.
