“Drinking on the job? Tsk, that’s the third infringement on company policy you’ve made tonight, kitten.”
He took a sip of his whisky — aged in sherry cask, distilled just right with spherical ice. It was how he liked it. I knew, because I was having the exact same drink — his choice of poison at every revel, every meeting, every reclusive night alone.
Sylus threw me a derisive look, cherry eyes surveying me over the glisten of his glass.
“Intentions become more blatant, after a drink or two. Or in your case, five.” I challenged the man who’s kept me hired for the past year.
I was grateful. My work at the Hunters Association had turned trite. Clockwork really, — detect Wanderers, eradicate them, aid the wounded. Righteous, lawful, and so…moral.
My heart had staged a mutiny long before my mind resolved for change. And so I left my woe of comfort and dived into the hellfires of felony. He had found me scavenging for Protocore fragments in the N109, attempting to make my mark with abysmal self-made weapons.
Trinkets — Sylus had called them. Indeed I was a stray cat vagrant in the dominion of vultures.
The leader of Onychinus circled me as I downed my glass, eyebrow cocked at my words. His handsome face gave nothing away — a classic Sylus signature.
“Dance with me?”
A loaded question. One with threat and agency lurking beneath.
I took his outstretched hand and let him whisk me into the centre of the dapper nightclub — exclusive, accessible only to the most premier, and despicable, of criminals.
Sylus was one of them.
With expert grace, he spun me into an embrace, one gloved hand intertwined with mine, the other at my waist. Our steps fell in harmony with each other at once, like missing chords finding solace in a melody.
“So? What have you heard? You seemed thoroughly engaged with that halfwit over there…” his words trailed away as his gaze dipped to my silver dress. Being his right hand had me acquainted with his quirks — sometimes endearing, more so disturbing.
The subtle smirk dissipated as soon as it came.
“They have ties with the Ever Group. Something about a nitrogen spectrum…a capsule…Kenshi and his men have been on the hunt for it for a whi…”
“You look divine in this dress. I had it picked out just for you. Do you not like it?” his impertinence interrupting my mid-sentence.
I huffed a breath. “It works similarly to a Protocore, quite li…”
“Damask rose, isn’t it? With a hint of honeysuckle…out of all my spies…” he lowered his head, “you’re my favourite scent.” A roguish smile accompanied the wanton glint he cast into my eyes.
It had always been like this. Sylus would send me on missions, most times by his side. I was never granted the elucidations of tasks, only that I’d to “act as good bait…suss out whatever information you can…kill if you have to…”
I would probe, and he would reply with a curt, “Not safe. Just do as you’re told.” It was in those moments where I thought I’d witnessed fragility in his demeanour. He would catch on, and he would put on his mask of aloof and asshole, like right now.
I rolled my eyes, vexation apparent on my features. Sylus seemed content that he got under my skin. Not giving me a chance to reply, he twirled me around, the warm velvet of his coat now a flaming singe against my bare back. So that’s why he chose this dress…
“Come on, don’t look so incensed. I heard you. You’re doing a fantastic job, kitten. Always giving me what I need.” The last word came out huskier than intended beside my ear.
The club was cold. Sylus was conceited. It was a perfect match. As much as I abhorred his arrogance, I welcomed the warmth of his body to mine.
I remembered defrosting at my fireplace after I’d been caught in a snowstorm. I had sat there for hours, letting the crackling heat appease my frozen limbs. It felt nice, comforting. And with Sylus’ arms now wrapped around me — he was my fireplace.
“I’m just trying to make this spy business enjoyable for us both. Even if you’re unhappy, at least act it. After all, you’re good at pretending, right?”
There was an edge to his words.
“I saw how you brushed his hand… that spineless leech….unless you were thinking of fucking him tonight?” His hiss was loud enough for the crowd close to us to hear. They turned, throwing us looks of disdain and outrage. I doubted Sylus realised how hard his fingers were digging into my skin.
Cheeks flushed both from the whisky and his risky display of assertion, I shot him a warning glance. “You’re insane, Sylus.”
“So quit then. But do it later, not now, not while everyone’s watching. I don’t want an audience I didn’t ask for.” He was taunting me again, wholly unfazed by the almost furore.
How much did he drink tonight?
Maybe it was the alcohol, but I was in no mood to counter his transgressions. Instead, I snaked my arms back, cradling his neck, fingers threading through his silver head of hair. Sylus stiffened at my touch, likely taken aback by my insolence.
Soulful, sensual beats reveberated through the club, patrons — descendants of the devil themselves, wives, mistresses — all caught up in the fervour of the music. Couples were fondling and kissing on the monochrome floor. And well, I didn’t find a reason why I shouldn’t join the hedonistic heist.
So into his body I pushed mine. Gripping my hips with his right, his left hand slipped down to my abdomen, tracing the lining of my underwear. As I let my head fall back into his chest, his own came lower to nudge my face, burying his nose in my temple. A flutter flushed in my core.
There was a sort of courtliness to the way Sylus moved, a kind of elegance you could find only in Kings and Queens. Yet the way he was guiding my hips to sway in rhythm to his held such lewdity. To the frolicking outlaws here, we looked very much the part of reigning besotted lovers — timeless, transcendent.
Enthralled by the song and how Sylus was spooning me like I was his revered ruby, I ground myself indulgently against his leather pants. He grew hard at once, length prodding at my back.
Our combined excitement was short-lived, though. The silver dress he gifted me caught in the buckle of his belt, hiking the silk up. My black panties were exposed in wondrous glory, earning hungry looks from the men around.
The Onychinus kingpin tugged my dress down immediately, struggling slightly at the fabric fastened to his metal. His reflexes were swift as the time I aimed a loaded gun at him.
A loaded gun, one that was now hoisted towards the crowd. He really was insane.
“Look away, or I won’t hesitate to blow your brains out.” His decree thundered over the booming of the speakers.
Several men smirked, others pretended to ease back into their cavorting. Assault, drugs, murder — it was just another night here at the N109. Being threatened with a revolver? — A mere parlour trick.
But perhaps that was what Sylus wanted to let on. “Never reveal your hand. Remain powerful by appearing meek.” That was the first lesson he had taught me.
“Sylus…careful…you could’ve put us in jeopardy…” I cast a concerned glance his way, only to find him polishing his pistol with his coat, his face a nonchalant calm.
His tone however, was one of annoyance, as if reprimanding a child. “I wasn’t fond of the little show you just put on.”
I put on a show? He was the one who…I sucked in a breath to abstain from an outburst. He was getting on my last nerve.
Pretending the best I could, I instead riposted, “Oh no, it’s not for them. I put these on just for you.”
Two could play at that game.
I watched the silver-haired devil pin me with his gaze, the dark of his pupils rising up to swallow me whole.
“I ought to punish you for violating company rules. Seems you’re breaking many of them tonight.”
“That’s why you hired me in the first place, isn’t it? I don’t play by the rules.”
There was a pause. The music seemed to fade out into a distant void, drowning the chatter along with it. Strobe lights danced around his face, illuminating the reds of his eyes. His right iris appeared to…glow?
A faint disorientation overcame me. In between blinking and regretting what I said, though, I thought I noticed Sylus inch closer — as if a subtle act of want. Only I had the privilege, or burden, to be sentient of his every complexity.
I regarded his stare as they roved over my eyes, my lips, closing the space between us…
“I want to go home.” I muttered.
Sylus straightened himself. If he was peeved, I couldn’t tell.
The ride on his motorcycle was spent in silence, save for the roaring of his modified exhausts. I refused to hold him, choosing instead to grab onto the fairing of the tail. So was another night of ambiguous motives and aimless flirtations, one in which I had grown increasingly restless.
“Why is everyone looking for the spectrum?” I asked at a traffic stop.
Silence.
“How is it even related to a Protocore? What’s so danger…”
“You really should hold on to me. I can’t risk my best spy falling off…” once again disregarding my questions, crimson eyes glaring at me through his side mirror.
“What is wrong with you? It’s been a year! And yet you don’t trust me enough with details of your dealings?” I yelled over the muffle of my helmet, my own voice ringing in my ears.
A low rumble sounded in the distance, quite like skyscrapers being blown apart by covert dynamites. The loud whirring of Sylus’ motorcycle remained, the combined knells throwing us into a pit of trepidation.
“Kitten.”
I knew that tone.
Drawing out my gun, I swung myself off the bike and fired. The Protocore-infused bullet buried itself in the recesses of a Wanderer, shredding its power source, erupting shards of alloy projectiles. Some of the pieces lodged themselves into other Wanderers, causing them to convulse violently, teetering on the brink of destruction.
Behind me, Sylus fended off several monsters, his Evol wrapping ominous tendrils around their form. In a mere furl of his hand, they disintegrated into dust, leaving clouds of ash in their wake.
My weapon was formidable enough, having been altered with a Zenith Core — a deviant design forged by Sylus himself. “I made this just for you,” he had surprised me in my first month of training. “It’ll keep you safe. Though you’ll always be so long as I’m around.”
Another shot was fired, this time by Sylus, barrel of his gun aimed over my shoulder. The creature at my back let out a piercing snarl before it crumbled into pieces. Our eyes met at once, the animosity from earlier now a muted thrum.
Hostility, however, chose to emerge in a different form — more Wanderers. Hoards of them. I spotted Foulwings and Magma Knaves, both species not known to spawn here.
I unsheathed my blade, but we were ringed in. Their screeches and grunts enveloped the night, like a fathomless blackhole draining all levity.
“There’s too many of them. We need to leave now.”
In a swift grab of my arm, Sylus tugged me into a whirl of nothingness. Red and black sworls engulfed us, and the last thing I remembered was being thrust in such nauseating force that I blanked out.
“Kitten. Kitten, wake up.”
I’d have recognised that voice anywhere.
Sylus was staring at me, hints of distress plain in his electric eyes. I was propped up against his arms in the middle of an empty street. It looked familiar, but not quite. Dim streetlamps cast an unearthly glow to the pavements, their shadows prostrate like spindly entities on a night prowl.
The buildings were far from towering ones in Linkon and the N109, carved instead, out of bricks and stone no more than five stories tall. Rickety signboards flickered on and off, as though a visual alarm to caution that we were not welcomed here.
“Sylus, where are we?”
A deep sense of rue loomed over his face.
“N109 Zone.”
“120 years in the past.”

Have some ideas rattling around in my head. Would be super interested to know what the general interest level is like for each. Please vote for your absolute favorite!
Cross posted to cog forums and reddit.
Descriptions below:
“City of Smoke and Shadows” is a gritty martial arts fantasy set in alternate-history 1930s Shanghai, with lush world-building, distinctive characters, and elaborate game mechanics for street brawls, action-packed duels, political scheming, relationship-building, and clan management.
There is an ancient, secret method of cultivating and roasting tea-leaves, cha, which allows it to be smoked in cigars, granting heightened awareness, martial prowess, and prophetic visions. European colonial powers, tired of buying expensive, processed cha from noble families in Shanghai, want the recipe. So do the Chinese disenfranchised lower and middle-class, who are no longer contented with letting cha remain in the hands of the privileged few—bootleg cha distributors have popped up like mushrooms.
You play as the youngest child of the Wu family, a clan that controls one-third of the cha trade in Shanghai. You’ve spent the past five years abroad, trying to distance yourself from your family’s bloody legacy… that is, until your brother’s murder drags you back to a fractured city you barely recognize.
In a world where loyalties shift like the wind, and personal vendettas collide with political ambitions, you’ll need to keep your friends close—and your enemies even closer. Violent revolution brews in the shadows, and colonial powers threaten to swallow the Empire whole.
----
“Cyclopunk” is a compact, imaginative take on the survival-adventure genre. In a climate-ravaged, war-torn post-apocalyptic universe, you have lung cancer. Bike across bleak, desolate landscapes to the mythical Tri-domes for a supposed cure. The clock is ticking down, but the way to the Tri-Domes is perilous.
Pick from many possible branching routesexplore flooded scavenger cities, floating fishing settlements on swamplands, magnificent garden-domes set like jewels in barren deserts, and cave-dwelling colonies. Encounter colorful (and sometimes morally complicated) side quests, distinctive characters, new forms of flora and fauna along the way.
----
“Golden Boot” is a modern slice-of-life episodic game where you start as a 6-year old who lives for football—slowly shape your character and your story—both on and off the pitch. Realize your dream of becoming a football legend step by step. From childhood training matches to cutthroat youth academies to a make-it-or-break-it Premier league debut to the biggest stage of all: electrifying World Cup, every decision you make will impact your rise to fame—or fall into obscurity.
Thrilling, high-octane football matches accompany a rich tapestry of scenes that make up the highs and lows of a football player, from falling in love, dealing with heated rivalries, buying your first house, or shaping your public persona. **Golden Boot** is about football—and so much more. It’s about coming-of-age, the people you meet along the way, and the things you’re willing to sacrifice for a dream.
----
In "Silver Screen", step into the glamorous, glitzy world of 1950s Hollywood, where you play an actor or actress of colour striving for stardom in an industry that’s as much about politics as it is about performance. Divided into five acts, each representing a new film you’ve been picked to star in, you will navigate the challenges of the showbiz—starting from a complete unknown, dreaming of stardom.
As your career evolves, every choice you make—how you deliver your lines, your relationship with co-stars and directors and crew, your stance on social issues—can determine your future in Hollywood. Will you rise to become a beloved icon, carve out a niche as a critical darling, or fall into the trap of typecasting and scandal? Romance a fellow star, a politician, or a screenwriter-director. Build a family and legacy—while keeping your career intact in an industry that can make or break you overnight.
-----
In "Space Diner”, you play an ex-bootleg space smuggler who’s on the run from the authorities. Desperate to lay low, you stow away on what you think is a simple cargo ship—only to discover it’s a food truck operating across the farthest reaches of the galaxy. After the owner threatens to toss you out the airlock for your sneaky stowaway antics, you convince them to let you stay by claiming you’re a chef, and asking for a job—as someone who knows nothing about food preparation, you’ll need to fake it till you make it (and hopefully not poison anyone or burn down the space truck while you’re at it).
Learn the ins and outs of cooking, managing the space truck’s finances, navigating the galaxy, haggling for supplies at space ports, and caring for the exotic plants in the hydroponic garden so that there’s food to put on the table. Serve up delicious meals to all sorts of different alien customers from grumpy office workers to swashbuckling space adventurers, all with different ideas of what counts as ‘sustenance’. Experiment with new recipes, travel through asteroid fields, space stations, mining colonies, and wonderous new cities. Can you avoid capture, befriend the space truck owner, and become the most beloved space truck in the galaxy? Or will your past catch up with you…?
-----
__ (untitled) is a cozy fantasy take on the musical band genre. You’re in a band with your best friends: a cheerful orc bassist, a brooding elven drummer, and a charismatic dwarven keyboardist. Together, you’ll travel from tavern to tavern in a vibrant, medieval Japanese inspired world, performing for ever-growing crowds, honing your musical skills, and navigating the ups and downs of life on the road. Distractions- Chapter 23
Tumblr media
Distractions Masterlist
Pairing: Reader x FWB!Tom Hiddleston
Series Warnings: SMUT, fluff, angst, friends with benefits
A/N: Hope you like Tom's POV because here's a whole chapter's worth!
“Tom, over here!... Give us a smile, Tom!” the photographers shouted from behind the barricade along the red carpet in Leicester Square. Posing in front of the bright lights of flash bulbs had become almost second nature to him, but this film premiere was different. He was distracted.
Tom hadn’t heard from you in over two months. After the last time you slept together, he had made a few attempts to see you under the guise of merely wanting to hook up, but after your third unconvincing excuse for why you were unavailable, it became clear that you were avoiding him, so he reluctantly resolved to leave you alone.
When you had called him Tommy that morning, it was music to his ears. He thought that maybe it meant that things between the two of you were on the mend, at least in the way of your friendship, but when you left so suddenly afterwards, without so much as a goodbye, his hopes were crushed. It must have been a left over habit, a slip of the tongue in a moment of weakness. He felt like a complete prat for thinking it was anything more than that; for thinking that that morning meant anything at all.
Now here he was, at the premiere of the very film that brought the two of you together in the first place, and he was both dreading and looking forward to seeing you all at once. Every time someone arrived, his head would whip round to see who it was, which infuriated Luke because it was impacting his interactions with the fans and press.
Later, when Tom, Warren, and the director were getting ready to introduce the film before the screening, there was still no sign of you. Were you actually going to miss the premiere just to avoid seeing him? No, that wouldn’t be like you at all. You were devoted to your work.
Tom was in the middle of welcoming the audience when suddenly one of the doors to the theatre opened and it was you, looking breathtaking in a glittering champagne coloured gown. The two of you locked eyes for only a second, before you went to find a seat. You looked flustered, and Tom guessed it was because of whatever caused you to be late. “Erm, anyway,” he continued, now flustered himself. “Thank you for coming and we hope you enjoy the film.”
As he found his seat, he briefly looked back at you, but you were talking to Kaitlyn, so with a sigh, he sat down and watched the screen as the lights lowered and the film began.
After the screening, Tom again looked around for you, but you’d already gone, so all he could do was hope that you’d be at the after party. He, unfortunately, was unable to go straight to the party, as he had more press and fan interactions to do. However, he was a little bit more upbeat this time. Watching one of his projects come to life in the finished product always made him feel good. This time was bittersweet though. It brought up so many great memories of you, making him wonder if he would ever make memories like that with you again, but the thought was almost too much to bear, so he tried to focus on how happy he’d been then and nothing more.
As soon as Tom walked into the ballroom at 8 Northumberland Avenue, he scanned the party for you. At first, he didn’t see you, and his heart sank, but then he finally laid eyes on you. You were across the room, mingling with a champagne flute in hand, having fun. Tom couldn’t help but stare. You looked absolutely beautiful. Yes, that dress was gorgeous on you, but more than that it was your smile. It was one of his favorite things about you, and he’d seen it so infrequently lately.
He wanted so bad to go talk to you, but he knew that if he did, that smile would fade. He used to have the opposite effect on you, but, for whatever reason, that didn’t seem to be the case anymore. So, as difficult as it was, he decided it was best to leave you alone so you could enjoy yourself tonight. Before he could look away, however, you turned your head and saw him. He gave you a small smile and nod, and you responded in kind, before he finally tore his gaze away from you and walked away.
“Well if it isn’t ole T-Hiddles himself,” Kaitlyn said as she approached Tom at the canapé table.
Tom turned and smiled as he hugged her. “How are you, darling?”
“I’m fantastic! The film turned out fabulously!”
“It really did, didn’t it?”
“How are you?”
Tom realised he didn’t know how to answer that question honestly without inviting more questions. “I’m always happy about a good premiere,” he said, hoping it was a clever enough work-around.
Kaitlyn saw right through it. “Right. You seem just absolutely giddy tonight,” she replied sarcastically.
“Is it that obvious?”
“To those that know you? Yeah, pretty obvious. I can only assume it has something to do with the fact that the dynamic duo, once inseparable, haven’t been within five meters of each other all night?”
“It’s complicated, Kait.”
“Ugh. That’s exactly what she said. Do you two rehearse this shit?”
Tom perked up immediately. “She talked to you about it? Did she say anything else?”
“No,” she said, irritatedly. “But she’s clearly just as miserable as you are.”
“Really? She looked pretty happy to me.”
“Well, maybe if you two just BLOODY FUCKING TALKED TO EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF SULKING!” Kaitlyn rolled her eyes and let out a loud groan of frustration as she walked away.
Tom felt a small, selfish sense of relief to know that you were miserable too, followed by incredible guilt for even thinking that, and even worse guilt knowing that he might be the reason for your misery. The problem was, he didn’t know if talking to you would help like Kaitlyn said, because what she didn’t realise was that everytime the two of you tried to talk, you’d both end up worse off than before.
Tom attempted to busy himself with socializing, but you were always in the back of his mind, and often in his peripheral vision, whether he could help it or not. You really did seem like you were having a good time. Maybe all you had to do was let yourself loosen up a bit. He could only hope.
Eventually, Tom ran out of the energy to keep up superficial conversations and stole away to the lobby, which was much quieter and less crowded. After getting a whiskey from the lobby bar, he sat down on one of the sofas, sighing and running his hand through his hair as he looked up at the ceiling.
“A bit much, isn’t it?” came a voice which made his heart leap. Tom looked toward the source and saw you standing behind the chair to the right of him.
He let out a small, nervous chuckle. “I’m used to it.”
“Then why are you out here?” you asked as you tilted your head and bumped out your hip.
With another little chuckle, he nodded. “Fair point.”
“Do you mind if I join you? I don’t know how many more times I can hear Kaitlyn tell me ‘This is my song!’ while she drags me to the dance floor.”
“Not at all,” he replied, gesturing to the chair. It was odd. It was almost like you were strangers.
You sat down and crossed the leg that was exposed from the slit in your dress over the other, making it extremely hard for Tom’s gaze not to travel up the length of your bare thigh all the way up to your hip. He could tell you didn’t do it on purpose though, which almost made it worse. You were always at your sexiest when you didn’t realise how sexy you were.
“You were amazing tonight,” you said after a beat, fiddling with your empty champagne glass. “In the film that is.”
“I dunno. Maybe it just appeared that way because my hair and makeup was so incredible.”
You laughed. “Really? That’s your line?”
“I had to break the ice somehow, didn’t I?”
“Alright, I’ll give you that.”
He leaned back on the sofa and took a sip of his whiskey, feeling a bit more at ease. “So, how many continuity errors did you count?”
You chuckled. “You know me too well. Only two, actually. They were incredibly small though,  and neither of them were hair or makeup related– no thanks to you, I might add.” You smiled proudly and gave him a wink.
“Are you referring to the several times you practically put me on the naughty step for touching my own hair?”
“You have to admit, your fidgeting habits make filming something that is supposed to appear to be all one shot very difficult.”
“And you put up with me like a champ, darling.”
“To be fair, you made it very easy to put up with you.”
“Glad to hear it.”
There was a moment of silence before you spoke again. “Hey,” you began as you leaned forward and lowered your voice. “Do you wanna get out of here? I’m craving another one of those little chocolate tarts, but they’ve already cleared the food and closed the kitchen.”
Tom tried his best to hide his eagerness, leaning forward too. “I actually think I have a better idea, if you’re up for it.”
You smiled at him. “Lead the way.”
He smiled back as he stood up and held out his hand for you. You took it and he helped you up and led you out of the lobby and into a back hallway, looking around as he did so to make sure no one saw the pair of you.
“Where are we going?” you asked suspiciously, a little giggle in your voice.
“We’re getting you a chocolate tart,” he said matter of factly as he came to the kitchen door and pushed it open.
You giggled in disbelief. “How did you know that it wouldn’t be locked?”
He let your hand go as you looked around and he went to one of the large industrial refrigerators. “The head chef is a friend of mine, and he told me the lock to that door broke a while ago and nobody ever bothered to fix it.”
“You’re joking.”
“Dead serious,” he replied as he rummaged through the fridge. “Bingo!” He pulled out a cellophane wrapped plate of mini chocolate tarts and placed them on the stainless steel counter in front of you.
“Thomas William Hiddleston, I’m surprised at you!”
He attempted to ignore how much he loved hearing you call him by his full name. “Oh, don’t pretend you aren’t soaking wet right now,” he joked as he unwrapped the plate and passed you one of the desserts.
“I am for this tart!” you replied before you picked it up and put it in your mouth. As soon as you did, your eyes practically rolled to the back of your head as you moaned, making Tom’s trousers suddenly feel a little tight.
“Are they really that good?” he asked.
You looked at him with wide eyes as you swallowed and licked your lips. “You haven’t tried them?”
“I wasn’t particularly hungry tonight.”
“Fuck that. Try it.” You brought the tart to his lips and he gladly let you put it in his mouth, his lips briefly capturing the very tips of your thumb and forefinger before you let go of it and grabbed another for yourself. You were right, of course. It was delicious.
He nodded as he chewed. “Okay, I get it.”
“Right?!” You picked up another tart and held it in front of him. “Another?”
Tom swallowed. “Please.” He opened his mouth again, but instead of putting the chocolate creme filled dessert on his tongue again, you smushed it onto his nose. He gaped at you briefly as you laughed into your hands which covered your mouth. With a slop, the tart fell from his nose to the floor, leaving a chocolate smear in the middle of his face.
“You know,” you began through your giggles. “I always suspected you were a bit of a brown-noser.”
Tom glared as he raised his eyebrows. “Come here,” he commanded, slowly reaching for the tarts. Still laughing, you shook your head. “Come. Here. Now.” When you refused to move, he swiftly grabbed a tart and lunged for you, but with a screech, you dodged him. He chased you round the kitchen until he finally caught you and pinned you against the wall, one hand holding your wrist and the other at the ready with the small confection.
With your free hand, you grabbed his chocolate-wielding arm. “If you ruin my makeup or my dress, I will kill you, Tom Hiddleston!”
“Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it, darling…”
He started to lift his weapon when you shouted, “Wait!” He halted, giving you a chance to speak. “You do realise that my knee is between your legs right now…” Tom looked down and, sure enough, it was. “Now, I’m not saying I’d do it on purpose, but if you smash that tart in my face, I might instinctively defend myself in a way that would end very badly for you.”
He flinched at the thought as he released your wrist and put his hand up in surrender. “Alright, let’s not get rash now,” he said as if he was in some sort of hostage situation. “I’m putting. The tart. Down.” Slowly he leaned to the side and set his weapon down on the counter beside you, then came back up just as slow, both hands raised this time, until he was nearly nose to nose with you. “Are we good?”
You smiled mischievously before darting your tongue out and taking a lick of chocolate creme off the tip of his nose. “Yeah, we’re good.”
“Good," he replied, softly.
The two of you were seemingly frozen by each other’s gaze for a moment. What you hadn’t noticed was Tom had taken a swipe of chocolate with his thumb. Gently, he hooked his finger under your chin and, never taking his eyes off yours, he used his thumb to smear a bit of chocolate on your lips. You didn’t protest, though. You just kept your eyes on his. After sucking the rest off of his thumb, he leaned down, closer and closer, until he finally kissed the chocolate off of your top lip, then your bottom lip. As he kissed you more and more, you brought your hands up to cradle his neck and head, and kissed him back. Before long, he could feel you begin to grind against his thigh, so he moved his hands to your ass to help you grind harder, while he moved his lips to your neck.
“Tom,” you panted in his ear.
He hummed against your neck in response.
“Tom, I’m–”
“Whatever it is you’re about to apologize for, you don’t need to,” he interrupted you, only briefly pausing his kisses to do so.
“I wasn’t apologizing, I— mmmmmm,” you quietly moaned as he sucked just below your ear. “I need to tell you something.”
He was only half listening. All he could focus on was having you back, even if it was only for a moment. He brought one hand up to your breast and massaged it as he kissed further down your neck, until you finally blurted out what you had been trying to say.
“I’m moving to LA.”

Carpets And Premieres - Luke Thompson
Word count: 827
Summary: Arriving at the premiere of the third season of a show you've been working on for two years, is rather exciting, no?
Tumblr media
As the paparazzi flashbulbs went off like a thousand tiny suns, you and Luke, made your way down the red carpet as his hand was placed on your lower back.
You were wearing a pastel blue dress with a fitted top, a plunging neckline, and a flowing skirt that added a touch of refinement.
The intricate beading and embroidery details on the dress not only improve its visual appeal but also make it a statement piece for all who see it.
The fitted top ensured a flattering fit, while the flowing skirt added a touch of drama and elegance.
The air was electric with anticipation and the sweet, intoxicating scent of popcorn wafted past, carried on the warm, humid breeze.
Fans lined up along the barricades, some holding signs that read
"We love you!" and "Season 3, we are ready for the feels!" while others eagerly snapped photos with their smartphones.
You couldn't help but feel a flutter in your stomach as you spotted the familiar faces of the cast members, who felt more like family than co-stars.
They were all dressed to the nines, looking like they'd just stepped out of the pages of a romantic novel.
As you and Luke approached the interviewer, you noticed the microphone in his hand and the earnest expression on his face.
He was excited to speak with you about the upcoming season.
"So, Luke, how does it feel to be here at the premiere of Bridgerton season three?" he asked, his voice steady and professional.
You could see the flash of Luke's dimple as he smiled and replied
"It's absurd. We've all been working so hard on this season, and to finally share it with our fans like this is just incredible." He paused for a moment, looking into the interviewer's eyes before turning to you.
"And, of course, having her by my side makes it even more special." You felt your cheeks redden at his words.
"And what about you, y/n?" the interviewer asked, turning his attention to you.
You cleared your throat, trying to find the right words to express how much being a part of the Bridgerton world meant to you.
"It's been such an extraordinary journey," you began,
"I never could have imagined being here, standing next to this amazing man, watching our characters come to life on a screen. It's a dream come true." You glanced over at Luke, feeling his hand squeeze yours gently in support.
The interviewer seemed to sense the sincerity in your words, and nodded before asking,
"So, what can we expect from the new season? Any special details you can share with us?"
You and Luke exchanged knowing looks.
"Well," you began, "I can tell you that the love story between y/c/n and Benedict, this season is going to be breathtaking. There's a lot of passion, a lot of drama, and course, a few jaw-droppers along the way."
Luke chimed in, "And the chemistry between y/c/n and Benedict? It's off the charts. I think the fans are going to love what they see."
You smiled at him, feeling your heart flutter. Even after all this time, being around Luke still made you feel giddy.
"And what about the other characters?" the interviewer prodded. "Any favorite moments or storylines you can share?"
Luke thought for a moment before answering,
"There's so much to choose from, but I think my favorite part is seeing how the Bridgerton siblings find love one by one. They're an amazing family, both on and off screen."
You nodded in agreement.
"And," you added with a grin, "I think we can all look forward to seeing how even a wallflower can bloom."
As the interviewer thanked you and Luke, you both excused yourselves from the media frenzy and made your way over to where your co-stars, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, and Simone Ashley were standing.
They were deep in conversation when you approached, but quickly broke away with hugs and well-wishes for the premiere.
"How are you both holding up?" Jonathan asked with a warm smile. "This whole thing is such a whirlwind, isn't it?"
"It certainly is," you agreed, returning his grin. "But it's so exciting to be here with all of you. You've all been such a huge support system over the years."
You glanced over at Luke, who nodded in agreement. "It does feel like a family," he said, squeezing your hand.
"Well," Nicola cut in with a laugh, "let's not forget that we also have some amazing material to work with. Lady Whistledown would be proud."
They all shared a laugh before falling silent, gazing out at the sea of adoring fans.
"This is going to be one heck of a ride," Claudia said with a mixture of anticipation and nervousness.
"But I think we're all up for it." You couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie and pride as you stood there with your fellow Bridgerton colleagues.

Pairing: Steven Grant x gn!reader (implied Marc Spector x gn!reader and Jake Lockley x gn!reader)
Word Count: 800
Summary: Steven doesn’t have a birthday. He takes the task of choosing one very seriously.
Content: Fluff, one use of a pet name (love)
A/N: This follows Leap Year, but it’s not necessary to read that first. I don’t know a ton about astrology, so I’m learning as I go. Enjoy! :)
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Here it is!” you say triumphantly, pulling a purple book off one of Steven’s lower shelves.
Steven takes the book in his hands gingerly, as if it’s something sacred. “Why do you have this, anyway?”
You shrug. “My college roommate was really into astrology and tried to get me interested, too. I just never got rid of it. It’s sentimental, I guess.”
Steven nods, already flipping through the pages as he makes his way to the couch. “So, what signs are Marc and Jake, again?” he asks, not looking up.
You join him on the couch. “Both Pisces, oddly enough,” you remark.
He hums. “Maybe I should be, too.” He quickly consults the table of contents before flipping to the page on Pisces. “‘Empathetic, imaginative, creative,’” he reads. He skims a few more pages before saying, “It’s all a bit vague, innit?”
You laugh. “I guess it is, yeah.”
“Well, you can turn on the telly or grab your own book, if you like. This will take me a bit to get through.”
You stare at him. “You’re not gonna read the whole thing, are you?”
He looks back at you, confused. “How else will I know what sign I am?”
“I don’t think it’s that serious,” you say. “Jake just picked a date he liked.”
Steven just shrugs. “I’d like to see what the book says, I think.”
“Alright,” you say with a shrug of your own. “Knock yourself out.” You scooch towards the other end of the couch, where your latest read is waiting on the end table. You turn on the lamp and settle in.
Tumblr media
Steven’s a fast reader. In the time it takes you to slog through a few chapters, he’s closing the astrology book with a satisfying thump. “All done,” he announces.
You close your own book after marking your place with a bookmark (a slightly crumpled receipt counts as a bookmark, right?). “And? What’d you pick?”
“Virgo,” he says.
“Yeah?” you ask, interested. “Why’s that?”
Steven finds the appropriate page and reads, “‘Intelligent, analytical, hard-working.’” He looks to you, his confidence wavering. “That…sounds like me, right?”
You offer him a kind smile. “I think so, yeah. Did you pick a date?”
He shakes his head. “Not yet.” He briefly looks down again. “Says here I can do any day from the twenty-third of August to the twenty-second of September.”
You hum.
“Wait a second…” Steven trails off, grabbing his phone out of his pocket and typing something in.
“What?” you ask.
“Aha!” he says. “Twenty-fourth August. That’s what I want my birthday to be.”
“How come?”
“Tomb Buster premiered on that day in 1990. I reckon us Steven Grants should have the same birthday,” he explains with a grin.
You can’t help but match his smile. “August twenty-fourth it is, then. I’ll add it to my calendar.”
He closes the book again and hands it back to you. “Thank you for lending that to me, love.”
“Any time,” you say, taking the book and returning it to its spot on the bookshelf. You glance at the clock. “Ready to start on dinner?”
“Sounds good to me,” Steven says, standing up and following you to the kitchen.
Tumblr media
After dinner has been taken care of and you’ve watched a movie, you’re in the bathroom getting ready for bed. You can hear Steven talking outside the door. You assume he’s conversing with his alters.
When you exit the bathroom, you see Steven standing at the fish tank, bottle of fish food in hand. He doesn’t seem to notice you as he continues on speaking. You realize he’s talking to the fish.
“Maybe I should’ve picked Pisces, Gus,” he muses.
Gus II and his two tank-mates, Tom and Jerry (named together by Marc and Jake, despite Steven’s protests), swim around in slow circles, seemingly waiting for Steven to feed them.
He shakes the bottle, watching the flakes drop gently into the water. “Then all three of us would be the same. And Pisces is fish, innit? It fits.”
“Steven!” you groan playfully. “You can’t just change your zodiac sign!”
“Why not?” he counters. “I just picked it today. There should be some sort of trial period, right?”
You snort. “Maybe, but I like the day you picked. It means something to you.”
“Alright, fine,” Steven says. He bids the fish good night before following you to the bed.
You settle in under the covers and say good night to one another. Your eyes are closed when you hear Steven ask into the darkness, “Do I get a cake for my birthday?”
You smile to yourself. “If you want one.”
“And presents?”
“Of course.”
It’s quiet for a moment. Then, “What about balloons?”
“Whatever you want, Steven,” you say fondly. “Whatever you want.”

A/N: Thank you so much for reading! Please feel free to let me know what you think. :)

hi everyone! I've gotten several requests to make a tutorial on how to make gifs for someone just starting out and I finally got around to slapping a tutorial together.
This tutorial will cover:
software recommendations
choosing what to gif
creating a gif step by step with probably a lot of unnecessary detail
some tips and tricks:)
(This particular tutorial will not cover how to find tv and movies to download and gif, or any specific instructions on coloring. only the basic gif making process.)
so for the purposes of this tutorial, we will be using Adobe Photoshop, which is the most common program for making gifs, and the one I recommend. the version you have doesn't make a major difference in terms of capabilities but the interface may be slightly different looking if you have an older version or a different type of device. you cannot make or edit gifs in any mobile version of the photoshop application. Optionally, we will also be using Adobe Premiere Rush/Pro or another video editing software of your choice. wherever you are downloading Photoshop, whether from Adobe or a third party, you should easily be able to acquire Premiere as well. I am aiming to be as detailed as possible in this tutorial, so it may sound more time consuming than it really is. once you get the hang of things, it goes fast. the most time consuming part by far is the editing and coloring. in my opinion, one thing that majorly saves time while giffing is knowing your keyboard shortcuts and using your mouse/trackpad as little as possible. I will be going over these in this tutorial as well.
before we begin, some general tips:
gifs of single shots that do not cut between angles or subjects generally will look the best, barring exceptions
for a single gif set, choosing scenes and shots with similar lighting will be easiest to get to look uniform when compiled together, since editing wildly different looking scenes to have similar coloring and lighting is hard and takes some practice!
avoid shots that will require you to majorly crop or zoom to properly frame the subject, as this will greatly diminish quality
speaking of quality, gifs will look best using 1080p video, but you can get away with 720p as well. I would not recommend giffing with anything lower resolution than that
Tumblr's upload capacity for image and gif files is 10mb. be sure when exporting your finished gif that it is under that size. if it is a bit over, you can try trimming a few frames off your gif in the video timeline.
if you get frustrated, don't give up! giffing is hard and complicated especially if you are new to photoshop. I tried to make this tutorial as detailed as possible so it's easy to understand (although im sure I still forgot some stuff)
ok onto the tutorial!!!
STEP ONE: choose what range of frames you want to gif, and how.
once you have decided what you want to gif, there are two main way to convert your episode into a range of frames to make into a gif. the first is by screencapping. this involves downloading a program like mplayer or vlc which can be used to convert video files into "stacks" of screencaps, which can then be separated into whatever range of frames you want and imported into photoshop. this is seemingly by far the most common method I have seen amongst gifmakers*, but personally I don't care for it and I think it's more confusing and time consuming overall, so I will be explaining the second method: importing video frames to layers.
now, normally what this would mean is opening the full episode in photoshop and using the pathetic little playheads on either end of the scrub bar to trim the file into a clip. this is where your video editing software comes into play.
open whatever episode or movie you want to gif in your program. if it is a large file like a long movie in 1080p, this may take a few seconds. like I said, I am using Premiere Rush. I will be using a random episode of 9-1-1 for my example gif.
in your media browser, hover over whichever episode you want (you can also just add the whole episode to your project and scrub through, but that can take longer unless you know what time stamp you're after). click the fullscreen button by the bottom righthand corner.
Tumblr media
now you can scrub through and trim the episode before you even import it to premiere. this makes trimming your clip even easier.
use the trim bar (yellow outlines) to trim as close as you can around the scene you want to gif.
Tumblr media
then click this plus, and then "add" below. this will add the clip to your project.
Tumblr media
now, move the blue playhead up to the frame you want your gif to start on. then, use the scissors button off to the left to slice the clip. select the portion before the playhead, and delete it.
now move the playhead to where you want the gif to stop. a good length for most gifs is around 1.5-2 seconds in my opinion. some may be shorter depending on how long the shot is, or longer if you plan on making them smaller (remember, the uploading capacity on Tumblr is 10mb per file.) trim again, now delete the portion after the playhead. you can also use the left and right arrows beside the play button to move frame by frame, and you can adjust the side of the horizontal scroll bar below your clip to “zoom” in on it and make scrubbing easier.
once you have your clip, go up to where it says "share". your clip will be rendered, and then you can click export to save it.
Tumblr media
repeat step one as many times as you want for each gif. I know this may sound complicated, but like I said above once you get in the rhythm this step takes only a few seconds.
STEP TWO: create your gif!
close premiere. open photoshop. head to the control bar at the top. select file > import > import video frames to layers.
Tumblr media
navigate to whatever folder you exported your clip to. select it, and hit enter. a second popup will appear asking you to select your range of frames. since you have already trimmed your clip to your liking, simply hit enter a second time.
now your screen looks like this, and we are going to crop and resize our gif! (troubleshooting: if you do not see the timeline bar at the bottom, select window from the control bar, scroll down, and make sure timeline is selected as part of your workspace. Adjustments and layers should be there automatically but if not add them too).
Tumblr media
Tumblr posts are 540px wide, so in order to make my gifs as small as possible while maintaining quality, I typically crop my gifs to be around 550-600px wide, with varying heights depending on what shape I want the gif to be. experiment with this a little and decide what works for you. just don't make the width lower than 540px. once you have the portion of the frame you want inside the cropping grid, hit enter again. sometimes you have to hit it twice.
here are the measurements I am using for this gif
Tumblr media
now in your timeline, select frame 1. hold down the shift key and scroll to the end to select the very last frame, thereby highlighting them all. from here we will edit our frame delay rate. photoshop will automatically set it to .03s, which will make your finished gif awkwardly fast. I typically use .05s, or .06s if I want a gif to be subtly slower (this comes in handy if the shot you are trying to gif is very short). anything longer than .06s will look weird though. choose "other" from this menu and type in your delay rate. make sure not to miss the zero after the decimal.
Tumblr media
once you've set your frame rate, go to the other end of your timeline and click here to convert your frames into a video timeline.
Tumblr media
then press option + command + A (on Mac) or windows + alt + A (on PC) to select all layers. then right click (control + click with a trackpad) on any one of the highlighted layers in your layers tab off to the right. scroll down in the popup menu and select Convert to Smart Object.
Tumblr media
THAT'S IT!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! WE HAVE GIF!!!
from here comes the fun part!! you will begin adding action filters like sharpening as well as adjustment layers to color and edit your gif. experiment with different adjustments and styles until you find something you like. too many adjustment layers will up the size of the finished gif though, so I tend to keep mine to 3-4 layers max unless its a really hard to color scene. if anyone is interested in a separate coloring tutorial, please let me know!
once you are finished editing your gif, click file > export > save for web (legacy) OR hit shift + option + command + S. play your gif in the export window to make sure it looks okay, and then hit save!
I hope you guys find this helpful and informative! please hit up my in box if you have any questions or if anything doesn't make sense. happy giffing!!!
*one reason people seem to prefer screencapping to this method, is saving all the individual clips as video files does take up a lot of space on your scratch drive, which in turn can cause your computer to work slowly or crash programs. this can be rectified by making sure to delete the clips from your computer once you are done making the gifs. another space hoarder to look out for is the proxy files of your episodes that will be automatically saved to your hard drive whenever you add an episode to your project in Premiere. Periodically, go through your storage and delete all the .proxy video files. this will not delete the original episode files, only the proxy files created by Premiere.

The Fame Game
For the past week or so, I have been obsessed with Chappell Roan’s album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. It is full of incredibly catchy hooks and playful lyrics and is very addictive. I also listened to Brat by Charli XCX and it paled in comparison, just in case you thought I was playing to the crowd with my admittedly late-to-the-party hot take on Roan.
The past week has also seen a swathe of articles about how Roan resents the fame she has acquired as a result of this banger album. She describes this fame as having the “vibe of an abusive ex-husband”, and talks about how people act like they have a right to her time and fail to respect her boundaries with creepy behaviour.
Backlash to the backlash
This complaining opened her up to criticism, as she is someone who has courted fame and is now seemingly rejecting those who are responsible for her being famous (and by extension, rich) in the first place.
But that’s not really fair, is it? Regardless of who you are you should be able to have some boundaries. Football players are sometimes slagged off for ‘not being able to take’ the abuse which gets hurled at them from the stands, but its not normal for someone to go to work and get yelled at by strangers.
Social media unfairly gets the blame for a lot of things these days, but on this one I think the finger is correctly pointed. People as mildly famous as YouTubers with a few thousand subscribers are subjected to online abuse (albeit on a smaller scale than Roan and Premier League footballers). This abuse is sent partly because the abuser doesn’t view the abused as an actual person. They are merely an Internet persona, not a thinking, feeling person who may read those posts.
Sign up for The University Challenge Review
Parasocialites
When this view translates to the real world, as can happen in instances where people are super-famous, you get things like a fan grabbing and kissing Roan in a bar. These are not people, they are avatars through which the viewer is free to do anything they please. Characters in a video game.
One of the lower-level examples of this are some of the tweets you read about University Challenge contestants. Most tweets on the hashtag are lovely, encouraging and celebratory, about the enjoyment of the show. But every week there are a few which single out contestants (more often than not the non-male contestants) for abuse or creepiness.
The podcaster Blindboy (whose recent episode prompted me to give Chappell Roan a proper listen) gets around the problem of fame by wearing a bag on his head for any public appearance so that people don’t recognise him without it. But this isn’t a solution for most people.
It would be better if people remembered that fame doesn’t reduce the wearer to a caricatured cardboard cutout, free to be moved around as they please for whatever purpose they see fit.
So with that in mind, let’s get onto the episode which featured eight very real human people from the Universities of Reading and Exeter.
Reading were making their first appearance since a run to the final in 2022. Their captain that year, Michael Hutchinson, was on Only Connect last week with Fatima Sheriff, a member of the Imperial team who beat Reading (the third member of the OC team was Michael Kohn, who had reached the UC semis with Imperial the year before).

— Joe (@TheUCReview) September 16, 2024
If you want to watch the episode before reading the review you can do so at this link.
Here’s your first starter for ten.
Tumblr media
To be fair to them they manage two out of three bonuses (and the third one on the Great Glen was pretty tough), but they answer them in the way you would answer a question about Norway, if that makes sense.
The second starter also goes to Mouelhi, as does the third, and the fourth, and the… no, that was where the run ended. But still, four starters in a row to kick things off is pretty incredible. It is not the all-time record, as confirmed by statman Jack McB, but it doesn’t happen very often.
Also, for the record, Mr Mouelhi’s getting of the first four correctly answered starters of the game isn’t a record; I know of at least one occasion where this has been bettered (the first six in a QF many years ago). #UniversityChallenge
— Jack McB. (@jack_jmmcb) September 23, 2024
This streak gives Exeter a lead of 95 points before Finkelstein finally gets Reading off the mark. He takes a second consecutive starter, and I’m already thinking about what I’m going to write if he takes four-in-a-row like Mouelhi, but Moorcroft hits back for Exeter to put a halt to these musings. Four-in-a-row-in-a-row might have been the opening sentence.
We Gonna Rock Down
The music starter on Electric Avenue goes to Exeter’s Rock, and they clean up with a hat-trick of bonuses on British synth and new-wave. Reading look like they are building some momentum, but Moorcroft stops them again with condensation, winning Exeter a bonus set on Euclid’s elements, a book about maths which describes a cylinder as:
“a figure created by carrying a rectangular parallelogram around and restoring it to its original position, while keeping one side of the parallelogram about the right angle fixed”
Which I can’t wrap my head around at all. Does wrapping my head around an idea also create a cylinder somehow? I don’t know.
Finkelstein grabs another starter, and Reading close back to within 40 points, but this would be the end of their resistance as Exeter ended the show with a 100–0 run.
Reading 100–240 Exeter
A close-ish match, before Exeter ran away with it in the last five minutes. They posted a decent score, and could make the quarter-finals so long as they avoid one of the big hitters like Bristol and Imperial in the second round.
Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you next week for Birkbeck vs Darwin.

How to Watch Live Sports for Free: A Complete Guide to Stream2Watch
Gone are the days when watching live sports meant being tied to a cable TV subscription. Today, you can catch all the action from anywhere in the world without spending a dime. One of the most popular platforms for free sports streams is Stream2Watch. But how does it work? Is it safe and legal? And how can you make the most out of it? In this complete guide, we’ll explore everything you need to know about watching live sports for free using Stream2Watch.
Tumblr media
1. What is Stream2Watch?
Stream2Watch is a free online platform that allows users to watch live sports from around the world. Unlike official streaming services, it doesn’t host content but provides links to live broadcasts from third-party sources. Whether it’s football, basketball, cricket, or even boxing, Stream2Watch has something for every sports fan.
2. Why Do People Choose Stream2Watch?
There are many reasons why sports fans prefer Stream2Watch over paid streaming services. Here are some of the top benefits: 100% Free – No need for a costly subscription. Wide Variety of Sports – Covers everything from soccer and basketball to lesser-known sports like handball and snooker. Multiple Links – If one stream doesn’t work, there are alternatives. Global Access – Watch games from any country, anytime. User-Friendly Interface – Easy to navigate, even for beginners.
3. How to Access Stream2Watch
Getting started with Stream2Watch is simple. Follow these steps: Open your web browser – Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox work best. Visit the Stream2Watch website – Since the URL may change, a quick search for "Stream2Watch live sports" can help you find the latest link. Choose your sport – Navigate through the available options. Select a streaming link – If one link doesn’t work, try another. To avoid pop-ups and ads, consider using an ad blocker.
4. Types of Sports Available on Stream2Watch
Stream2Watch covers an extensive list of sports, including: Football (Soccer) – Premier League, La Liga, Champions League, etc. Basketball – NBA, NCAA, EuroLeague. Tennis – Wimbledon, US Open, French Open. Cricket – IPL, ICC World Cup, Ashes. MMA and Boxing – UFC, Bellator, and championship boxing fights. Baseball – MLB and international leagues. American Football – NFL and College Football. Whether you're a casual viewer or a die-hard fan, there's something for everyone.
5. Is Stream2Watch Safe to Use?
Since Stream2Watch relies on third-party streams, it can expose users to potential risks such as: Pop-up ads and malware, Phishing attempts through misleading ads, Unstable or broken links. To stay safe, always: Use a VPN to protect your identity. Enable ad blockers to avoid intrusive ads. Keep antivirus software updated.
6. Legal Considerations: Can You Get in Trouble?
The legality of Stream2Watch depends on where you live. Some countries strictly regulate or ban unauthorized sports streaming, while others take a more relaxed approach. To avoid legal trouble, consider: Using a VPN to hide your online activity. Checking your country’s copyright laws before streaming.
7. How to Improve Your Sports Streaming Experience
No one likes a laggy or low-quality stream. Here’s how to get the best experience: Use a high-speed internet connection (at least 10 Mbps for HD quality). Close unnecessary apps to free up bandwidth. Choose streams with the least buffering by testing multiple links. Avoid peak hours when traffic is high.
8. Best Devices for Streaming Live Sports
For the best experience, use the right device. Some top options include: Smart TVs – Watch sports on the big screen. Laptops & PCs – Good for multi-tasking while streaming. Smartphones & Tablets – Perfect for on-the-go streaming. Streaming Devices (Firestick, Roku, Chromecast) – Ideal for connecting to TVs.
9. Common Issues and How to Fix Them
Encountering problems? Here’s how to fix them: Buffering? Lower the resolution or check your internet speed. Broken links? Try another streaming link. Too many ads? Use an ad blocker. Website blocked? Use a VPN to bypass geo-restrictions.
10. Stream2Watch Alternatives
If Stream2Watch is down, here are some alternatives: VIPLeague – Multiple sports categories. FirstRowSports – Reliable and ad-free. SportSurge – Great for live events. BatmanStream – Covers international sports. CrackStreams – Ideal for combat sports like UFC and boxing.
11. Tips for Finding the Best Live Sports Streams
Want high-quality streams without frustration? Follow these tips: Look for trusted sports streaming websites. Avoid websites with too many pop-ups or redirects. Use social media groups to find verified links. Always have backup links ready.

This article explores the various ways to acquire Bosa's signature and offers guidance on ensuring its authenticity.
Acquiring Joey Bosa's Autograph: Methods and Considerations
Several avenues exist for obtaining a Joey Bosa autograph. Each presents its own advantages and disadvantages:
In-Person Signings: This offers the best chance for a personalized autograph.Look for opportunities at Chargers games, fan events, or charity functions where Bosa might be making appearances. Be prepared to wait and be respectful of Bosa's time and space.
Pros: Highest chance of authenticity, personalized interaction possible.
Cons: Requires significant time commitment, potential for long lines, no guarantee of success.
Mail-In Autograph Requests: Sending items to Bosa directly or through his representatives is possible, but success isn’t guaranteed.Research carefully to find reliable contact information; many athletes use professional services to handle their mail.
Pros: Relatively simple, low cost.
Cons:Low success rate, long wait times, potential for rejection.
Professional Autograph Dealers: Reputable dealers offer authenticated autographs, often with certificates of authenticity (COAs). However, it's crucial to choose a reputable dealer with a proven track record to avoid forgeries.
Pros: Guaranteed authenticity (with reputable dealers), convenience.
Cons:High cost, potential for encountering unethical dealers.
Online Auctions: Websites specializing in sports memorabilia often host auctions featuring autographed items. Thoroughly research the seller's reputation and look for high-resolution images and detailed descriptions to assess authenticity.
Pros: Wide selection, competitive bidding can lower prices.
Cons: Risk of acquiring forgeries, potential for inflated prices, shipping costs.
Authenticating a Joey Bosa Autograph
The authenticity of a Bosa autograph is paramount. Several factors should be carefully considered:
Certificate of Authenticity (COA): A reputable COA from a known and trusted third-party authentication company significantly increases confidence in authenticity.Look for COAs from established companies with a strong reputation.
Comparison with Known Samples: Research images of known authentic Bosa autographs to compare the signature's style, flow, and letter formations.Discrepancies may suggest a forgery.
Seller Reputation: Always verify the seller's credibility before purchasing. Check reviews, testimonials, and their return policy.Deal only with established, reputable sources.
The Autograph Itself: Examine the signature closely for inconsistencies. Does it look rushed or unnatural? Are the ink strokes smooth and consistent? A professional forgery might appear perfect, but subtle inconsistencies can often be detected by an experienced eye.
Provenance: If possible, investigate the item's history and how it came into possession of the current seller. A clear and documented chain of custody is a strong indicator of authenticity.
Protecting Your Joey Bosa Autograph

Handling Precautions: Always handle autographed items carefully, avoiding touching the signature directly. Wear clean cotton gloves when handling to minimize smudging or damage.
Professional Appraisal (Optional): For valuable items, consider having a professional appraisal done to determine its market value and provide additional documentation of its authenticity. This can be beneficial if you decide to sell the item in the future.
