Like most little girls, you had dreamt of the day that the one whom you loved would propose. By the time you were 15, you practically had your whole wedding planned. Your father would walk you down the aisle and hand you off to the groom. In front of the kingdom the two of you would swear your lives and your hearts to one another. A model royal wedding. A wedding for love. How could you have known you’d never see that perfect fantasy come to fruition?

King Ushijima Wakatoshi. That is the name signed at the bottom of the document. The document officially declaring war on your kingdom. The document that would condemn thousands of your soldiers to their deaths. No one had ever gone to battle against the Shiratorizawa army and won. Why would your kingdom be any different? Seijoh is but a small kingdom, with a strong disposition for the arts, whereas Shiratorizawa is founded on a powerful military. Under the rule of their ruthless king, Ushijima, their military has only grown stronger and larger. They’ve laid waste to many of the surrounding kingdoms. Wherever they go, Death follows. Your kingdom would never recover, if it survived at all.

The situation is dire. Your parents have been in constant meetings with Sir Iwaizumi, the head of the guard, and, subsequently, the head of Seijoh’s military. There simply are not enough men to fight. A negotiation would have to be made. If not, Seijoh would be destroyed like all the other kingdoms before it. Out of desperation for their people, your parents pleaded with King Ushijima to consider a bargain. To both their fortune and misfortune, he did: your hand in marriage for the safety of the people. Your parents love you, but they also love their people and have a responsibility to them. It is a ruler’s job to protect the citizens, no matter the cost. And so, you became the sacrificial lamb for your country.

I’ve been meaning to make this account for the longest time anyway, and with the death of Twitter just on the horizon, I figured it’s best I hop on this site.

I'm rewarching Darkwing Duck with my mom. It's been years meaning I'm older now and better at understanding the jokes and references (The over abundance of puns would make Sans proud I am sure.)

Now to the point, in the first season, before NegaDuck was introduced, Megavolt was DW's arch-nemesis, as pointed out by DW to Launchpad.

I noticed that in the super meta episode (The one where Darkwing writes his own comic and somehow as he writes it draws it out as well (God I wish it were that easy,)) Megavolt and Darkwing give off like "old married couple, but divorced" vibes. Cause Megavolt just lets DW leave without a fight. I know it's very unlikely but like... did they date? Were they married? Megavolt and DW always dance around each other in a different way compaired to the other villians (at least from what I remember), or is that just me over thinking?

I am very confusion.
