What a way to find out about Hurricane Hilary

Hilary continues strengthening rapidly likely to become a major hurricane later today. At 09:00hr MDT (15:00hr UTC), the center of Hurricane Hilary was located about 590km (365 mi) SSW of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico and about 850km (530 mi) SSE of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The government of Mexico has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for the southern portion of Baja California Sur peninsula from Cabo San Lazaro southward on the west coast and Los Barriles southward on the east coast.

Hilary is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through tonight.

A turn toward the northwest is expected Friday morning, followed by a turn toward the north-northwest and north on Saturday. On the forecast track, the center of Hilary will approach the Baja California peninsula over the weekend. Interests elsewhere on the Baja California peninsula and along the coast of northwestern mainland Mexico should closely monitor the progress of Hilary. Large swells generated by Hilary will affect portions of the coast of southwestern Mexico and the Baja California peninsula over the next few days.

the "aid" the US sent is 9 years expired food MREs that they can't cook because they don't have enough clean drinking water to make it edible. It's expired, by at least nine years. They stopped including the Tabasco sauces in MREs in 2015.

How are Gazans meant to make these? You need water to rehydrate the food. If they get food poisoning from eating nearly a decade old food, what do you think will happen to them? To the people who have been starving for months and are impoverished and malnourished? Who don't have the water and nutrients you need to heal yourself from sickness? And to top it all off, the food is Haram. They sent mostly pork and other haram meals. And halal MREs exist. They knew that most Gazans are Muslim and chose to not send the halal food. it's disgusting, it's horrid. The US and all of its leaders are evil and vile

Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 is heading towards the Northeast US! ⛈️

Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 is located in the Atlantic Ocean, east of the Bahamas, and is expected to move north-northeast towards the coast of the United States.

The storm is forecast to become a tropical storm by Friday, Sept 23, and could reach hurricane strength by Saturday, Sept 24.

The storm is expected to make landfall somewhere along the coast of the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast United States early next week.
