This is a bit of a long question bear with me please. So I want to preface this by saying that I am not Jewish and this is more of a "is this anti-Semitic" sort of question. I am a young American woman who is considering buying a gun for self defense. I would need something small, easily concealable, and with reasonably light recoil, but I really don't think .22 is what I need, so I've decided on .380. Based on these needs and what I've shot the Walther PPK deeply appeals to me. Unfortunately, it has been the German police service pistol since 1931. I would be buying a new production, not a wartime pistol, but I want to know if you think it would be anti-Semitic?

honestly I think it's a bit of a stretch?

like I know some Jews would probably not buy it, and it's sweet that you, as a non-jew, are concerned about this enough to ask. but also it's not something that would immediately strike me as "oh this person is antisemitic." it's also probably not something that the average person knows offhand? or maybe that's just me, I don't really know much about guns at all lol.

that being said though, if even the thought of potentially coming across that way makes you uncomfortable, you could always try to find a different one of similar make.

drugstore sells over the counter medications, you can pick up a prescription at a pharmacy. i don't think either of them mix and produce their own meds. they get them from elsewhere.

oh wild. here they do both, i can walk in to any chemist here and buy ibuprofen and shampoo and get my prescriptions. though im not aware of any compounding pharmacies (thats what theyre called right. i think so) around here, they all just have whatevers already in a box

Hey @systemadministratorclu and @hvfghcgh, wanted to respond to this conversation in as good faith as I can.

There's a lot to respond to, including the fact that you had this discussion in the replies of a post to and about comp top trans girls, but like I said, I'm going to take this in good faith and not assume the worst of you.

This post is for and about a particular kind of trans girl, who puts the pleasure and comfort of other people above her own well-being. I'm not going to make any assumptions about who you are, but I am going to confidently state that there are plenty of people who do see themselves in and understand this post more than you do.

The cnc elements of this post are very specific to that type of girl, who struggles to admit her own desires to herself, much less to others. The appeal of the cnc is to be relieved from the pressure of having to admit to her own desires - to be able to fantasize about getting what she wants without having to admit she wants it. If this doesn't hold appeal for you, or for any trans girls in your life, then this post is not for you.

Finally, the part that I most want to say is: You both need to have more faith in other people. To go into a strangers post and assume they're inciting people to rape, or that any given reader is too dense to understand that rape is bad is beyond inappropriate. Neither of you nor I are responsible for other people's behavior. If someone reads this post and takes it as license to sexually assault someone, then that is entirely on them. is there a difference between chemist and pharmacist or are they two words for the same thing? does your local chemist do all his own chemistry and produce his own drugs or does he get them shipped from somewhere? /genuine question

honestly i think it might just be regional? like im australian so its just sorta what we call it here. i use them kinda interchangeably especially since i now study chemistry at uni and chemist means that to me instead but i was raised saying chemist for the pharmacist. and theyre all just chain pharmacies around here so its just a Shop that sells medication and assorted other items like cosmetics and whatnot. now that i think about it that might be a drug store to others? i have no idea how the words work elsewhere
