the fanfare plays on televisions throughout the world, signaling an official start to the huge quadrennial event. athletes proudly make their way across screens, ready to represent their home countries with their upcoming accomplishments in this year's summer olympics. millions of viewers cheer their olympians on, and even for many citizens of dc, this is not an event to be missed. while unable to compete themselves, perhaps there are big dreams from dc's residents, and now would be a good time to explore those athletic aspirations!

it's been a while since our last task, so here's a fun one! a huge shoutout to our very own mario for the idea, and this one is of course inspired by the olympics! the format of this task is slightly different from usual, with only one aspect required to count as complete, but more about that will be below as we explain our task about your muses' athletic abilities!

for this task, we will only be requiring a written portion! if you would like to add an edit though, you are absolutely able to do so! some options might include a stat board like this one, or even a aesthetic moodboard like this one! but again, we're NOT requiring a visual aspect this time around, and you can choose whatever graphic you want if you decide to make one!

for the written aspect though, we have a list of questions that should be answered! this can be used as a paragraph guide, or you can answer them directly, the choice is yours! but we would love to see all of this information covered, so that we can get to know more about your characters! and thank you again to mario for some of these!

what would your muse like or dislike about the olympic village? — she would love to interact with the other athletes, learning from them. after she went viral she would go live a couple times around the village, but with someone else with her as it isn't something she does often

He would definitely participate in shooting. Possibly the 50m rifle three positions men. He could likely do any of them.

Percy could probably snag himself a gold medal on shooting. Its what he does. He is the gunslinger of his group.

No, he's as human as they come.

He would probably watch fencing, archery, equestrian, the other shooting categories, skiing as well probably, maybe tennis.

He would probably go back to his iconic look. His blue trench coat, waistcoat, boots and his gloves.

He would try but it would probably look like someone using social media for the first time. Like a dad's tiktok.

Probably for his shooting style. Very laid back.

He probably wouldn't be too fond of the food or the general competition. He's not the most competitive type.

not really, tala is still getting used to using her phone - so using social media is the next step for her.

she doesn’t follow anyone, she doesn’t do social media yet.

she’s decently comfortable with a phone? she’s started to get used to texting people, even tho she literally doesn’t message anyone other than leia or ben lmao.

she doesn’t know what a selfie is lmao, so she doesn’t really take pictures of herself to put them anywhere.

not really? she’s still new to all of this lmao.

probably not?

as the summer heat takes over dc, quite a few people have taken to lounging by the pool and scrolling through social medias, adding ideas to pinterest boards for every possible thing. fashion, tattoo ideas, potential dates and outings, and more! if any of those ideas will ever come to fruition, no one knows, but it's certainly fun to dream

mostly by member request, here is a fun new task for you guys! we've seen you guys working so hard on your pinboards for your characters, so we figured we'd make it into a task for you guys to get some credit for all your efforts! same format as most of our other tasks, but this time we're here to ask about your muses pinterest and aesthetics!

- as usual there will two aspects to this task, a written part as well as a graphic! of course we would love to see what you do for both, but feel free to put more of your focus on whichever part suits your muse!

He would likely take home the gold. He has been an archer since he was a kid and had two hundred years of experience. He doesn't miss

Maybe being an elf helps him but that's more genetics than supernatural ability.

He would compete in Archery but enjoy watching most of the other sports except like handball, synchronized swimming and football. But he would be intrigued.

Lots of elvish influences. Greens and browns. He would probably want to dawn some leather bracers. Some leaf embroidery around the collar and maybe find a more interesting and pretty eyepatch.

He doesn't understand social media at all. He would likely have no presence.

If he went viral on tiktok it would be likely for the way he looked. The seriousness of him while performing. Stoic and mysterious.

He would probably hate feeling contained. He likes his freedom to do what he wants when he wants. Also if he had to share with a stranger absolutely not.

she does use social media, she’s mostly on instagram, but she does have a tiktok account but she uses that to watch allana’s videos and never posts anything. 

2 - what kind of accounts does your muse follow online? and what do they post on their own accounts?

she mostly follows her family and a few friends tbh? and a couple of celebs and a few fashion brands that she likes? 

3 - is your muse comfortable with a phone or computer? do they use them often? how literate are they with technology?

yeah she’s pretty comfortable, she uses her phone and laptop a lot and she’s pretty literate with them? 

4 - what kind of profile picture(s) does your muse use on various apps? how often do they change their profile pic/icon?

she mostly has different pictures of herself, like more official ones for different things and then just switches them all up every now and then. she probably changes it at least once every few weeks.

it depends? she does like to take photos, her camera roll is probs filled with the most stupid photos of herself with her fam.

probably not? she actually quite likes her job despite all of the problems.

she doesn’t really have any hobbies? but she has unfortunately taken a liking to designer handbags lmao if that counts.

either stay in bed watching movies or going shopping and getting coffee.

she likes a bit of everything? def likes a good podcast too, true crime ones are her faves, esp bailey sarian.

it depends of the day, really, she loves spending time with her family but she also likes spending time by herself and away from the white house so it’s kinda split?

winter doesn’t have a tinder - most of the time she does prefer to do it the old fashioned way, but if she had a tinder it would probs say something along the lines of - chick from outer space, coffee addict and wine enthusiast.
