@sisselin and @hypergnomesimblr's Playtime Stuff Pack Hairs in JewlRyBox!

I have always loved this fan pack, and when I came back to the Jewl palettes I knew I needed to get right to work updating my recolors to add the pastels. I've also done a little quality-of-life work on some of them as I recolored them before we had gradient map recolors and some were quite muddy to the eye. I hope you enjoy!

As always, meshes can be found at Sisselin and Hypergnomesimblr's pages, and you will need the hair + accessory overlay meshes.

Also, I highly recommend not un-merging the file, as I had to do a lot of texture-referencing and wound up having to create entire packages just for the pastel recolors. It's best to just leave it as one package.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent countless hours (who am I kidding? More like days!) meticulously crafting your Sims’ lives down to the last detail. And let’s face it, one of the most satisfying parts of that process is dressing up your child sims in an array of outfits that would make any fashionista green with envy. 

But have you ever felt a bit… well, limited by the in-game clothing options for your Sim kids? I know I have. 🥺

That’s where player-created Custom Content (CC) comes to the rescue!

Ringing in the golden age of the roaring twenties is our heiress Miss Zelda Darlington. There is some continuity with her older lookbooks, mostly in her silhouette and color choices. As hemlines reach their shortest in the mid 20s, Zelda’s dresses still remain relatively conservative given her career as a nightclub singer and her free-spirited lifestyle. She still prefers blues and warm tones of yellow and orange, but the hues of these colors have grown brighter and bolder, as she herself becomes more confident.

Of course the biggest difference to her earlier lookbooks is her hair. Symbolic of her deeper anxieties toward life, Zelda’s long hair has been cut into a classic 20s bob. She usually styles it in simple waves, but it is often also seen unkempt when she spends her days at home with Antoine.

There is also much more ornamentation and flashiness than any of her earlier lookbooks. We see this particularly in her headbands, which she wears to highlight her short hair. However, her jewelry of choice still remains a string of pearls, harkening back to her innocence. With some outfits, she even continues to wear her sister Rosella’s ring, signifying that no matter how much she has changed, Zelda still remains deeply tied to her past.

Meet Colette Cookie “The chocolate chip cookie was invented by American chefs Ruth Graves Wakefield and Sue Brides in 1938. They invented the recipe during the period when she owned the Toll House Inn, in Whitman, Massachusetts. How did I miss these for two entire years?? Well, I've finally gotten around to them, so here's four cute hairs Crystal made that I just forgot existed apparently: Marsosims' Habagat converted for kids, Crystal's Confetti Collection hairs (Cinnamon Buns and CinnaPuffs) and GP05 Parenthood braids declipped & made BGC.

Since they're updates you won't need the meshes for the hairs themselves, but you will want to go grab the accessories for Habagat and the Declipped Braids. 

Credit for Habagat goes first to @marsosims since it's a conversion, and credit for everything else goes to @hypergnomesimblr, whose stuff I continue to love. <3 Enjoy!
