The Baroque period saw a softening of women's fashion, with the silhouette becoming fuller and higher waisted. Leg-o-mutton and three quarter sleeves added a billowy upper half to dresses. Shimmering soft satins and tonnes of delicate lace trimmings were all the rage. Necklines continued to broaden, eventually even falling off the shoulders in some styles. CC links under the cut.

Waekey Pearl Cross Earrings converted for TS3

I bumped into this @waekey creation and totally fell in love <3 I converted them for both gals and lads, because i think we lack male accessories in The Sims 3 (and cc at all actually, AHEM). I'd consider these earrings rather high poly, so use with caution. 6K poly is the lowest i managed to go without distorting it, so i made 3 versions for each gender: for left ear, right and for both. (If one ear is covered with hair, 3k is better than 6k, ykwim?)

Talon and Auren - the Guardians of the Forest - two forms of the same force:

Earth

The twin brothers are powerful children of Mother Earth, they are the forest - one and yet two sides.

Talon is the forest ground, the origin and decay, firmly rooted in the rock, he holds everything together, carrying the weight of life on his shoulders. He is quiet, serious, grounded, resting within himself. He is promised to the fire that burns deep within the earth.

Auren is the canopy, he protects growth and the cycle of life. He rises lightly above all treetops, close to the sky and deeply connected with the beings of the air. But it is the air itself that carries him, moves him, and whispers through him.

He is the rustling in the wind, its companion and with it, he is the storm, the love. His nature is gentle, his heart open, a quiet promise of protection and balance. Auren carries the forest’s emotions within him, tender and deep at once.

Between them flows the water. It connects all elements. It nourishes Talon’s roots and it carries Auren’s mist. In this connection lies their balance.

Within both of them burns the pain of what they witness: how greed devours the forest, how balance is destroyed, how the world forgets them and the voices fall silent that once sang with them.

And yet they stand - side by side. The guardians, the last voices of the ancient forest.

FOOD SIM # 30 BANANA 🍌🌼🎭

Being a plantsim is tough, but a plantsim living in the city is even harder. With pollution getting worse and barely any healthy sunlight, Banana is doing her best as she works hard to get her acting degree and make it big. While she is hardworking, she's a bit two-faced as she will do whatever it takes to achieve her dreams (the only downfall to this is that she's clumsy so there's a high chance that whatever she schemes backfires on her instead...) She just wishes to become a big enough actress to grace the silver screens and prove to her doubtful family that she can make it out there. And she knows she will!... In time that is.. But for now, she'll do her best with any odd jobs that she can take and make a name for herself. After she absorbs more sunlight and maybe lie down for a bit that is...

Traits: Ambitious, Clumsy, Jealous

Aspiration: Master Actress

I've had this sim for a while now and after tweaking her several times, she's finally done :D Since she was a banana sim, I was required to put the clumsy trait on her lol. Also, I know it's been a while since the last food sim and this series might take a break since I have other projects that I'm currently making that I think u guys will like. In the early part of the 17th century holdovers from the Tudor period continued to be in style, but soon enough the iconic ruff would evolve into delicate soft and standing lace collars. By the 1620s women's fashion - and by extension their accessories - became a lot more simple. Hats kept growing in size from the previous century, both in width and height. Pearls were HUGELY popular as they were a way to display wealth. In fact, it's hard to find a woman's portrait from this period that doesn't feature pearl jewellery.
