Just to prove it’s all easier than you think it is!
I woke up in the void state yesterday. I didn’t do anything special. I had work the day before and work the morning after. I was tired and not in a “perfect” mindset, and I didn’t drink enough water nor eat the most ideal foods. I didn’t have any magical signs or revelations, I just decided I’d do it and went to bed with that intention.
Still did it :)
Method:
I laid down (on my back as, personally, I get my best results when I do that) and just started breathing deeply. I told my subconscious loudly and clearly in my head that I intended to shift, and instantly felt symptoms. I kept breathing slow and deep while keeping my focus on the area around my third eye with my eyes closed if that makes sense? Just staring into the darkness of my eyes and breathing, only affirming when I felt myself starting to drift into sleep in order to keep my brain awake while my body fell asleep.
At one point I reached the hypnogogic state of sleep (aka when you start visualizing and dreaming) while my brain was awake, and the next thing I knew I couldn’t feel my body and I felt myself existing as pure consciousness. It was that easy. I don’t even know how long it took, but I moved around and adjusted while getting into the state and I still did it.
And just before anyone goes “oh well I can’t it’s not easy for me,” YES YOU CAN <3 it has taken me well over 3 years to enter the void state. It was taken me well over 3 years to mini-shift/lucid dream the way I have recently. It has taken me 3 years, countless methods, and lots of stress but guess what?
I still did it, and so can you ♡

Hello once again mortals. I have been quite inactive here on Tumblr but I am back with another blog. I have recently stumbled upon @gorgeouslypink ‘s most recent post which talks about commanding your mind to wake up in a ‘mind awake, body asleep’ state. Her research and method reminded me of a book that I have read about recently called ‘The Phase’ by Michael Raduga.
It is a proven technique and many came back to report their success with this method. Why this works so well is because you could dip into the half-asleep state, which is the golden ratio to experience all kinds of phenomenon such as manifestating, shifting, experiencing hypnagogia and even entering the void state. If you suck at meditating or simply have ADHD like me, this method is definitely a go-to.

Reasons to why you should try this method
As I have said earlier on, this method is ADHD friendly. If you aren’t able to focus on a blank space for a long period of time, this method will be your best friend. I am more of a “step-by-step” kind of lady since I can’t, for the life of me, follow something so blindly.
This is method is also, in my opinion, one of the fastest ways I could get into the ‘mind awake, body asleep’ state with the least amount of effort. No matter what your goal is here, whether to shift, enter the void etc. this would be a go-to. I managed to astral project in a span of two days, just by using this method.

How do we get into the golden state?
@gorgeouslypink have already explained it in one of her posts which I linked up on my blog, since it has already been summarised out. There is another post on it on Reddit as well which explains the method perfectly. I am way too lazy to re-explain so you can just refer to the links above.
You can try to affirm this very words as you fall asleep, memorising how it looks like behind the darkness of your eyelids:
“When I see this, I will remain completely still, with my eyes closed.”
Affirm as much as you think is sufficient for you before drifting asleep.

Ending notes + tweaks
So in conclusion, try this sucker out and quit complaining about not getting what you desire for. This method is super simple that you could master it within a week of trying and I am not kidding lmao. Try to get the basis right first (waking up without moving your body nor opening you eyes) and you are good to go.
If you are not able to carry out the ‘Wake back to Bed’ technique for this method, I would suggest that you were to try it out with an alarm clock which switches off automatically after a few seconds of ringing. But I would highly recommend the original method since you are relying on your natural awakenings.

How I entered the void state!!
So originally, I wanted to go into the hypnagognia state using this guide my friend created.
This one :
I practically did everything she said in that guide but then halfway, I decided to change my mind and started affirming that I was in that void state and that I could enter it in seconds.
And I did, but when I did I didn't even realize it. It felt so natural, I couldn't feel anything. I was just pure consciousness, I will definitely try it again.

Can u please explain more about hypnagogic state, actually i want to induce it
thank you so much for your patience anon, I will gladly go into depth about the hypnagogic state because I absolutely am obsessed with the sleep cycle and dream psychology so I know way too much about this subject !!
Essentially, the hypnagogic state is the transition state your mind is in shortly before or after dreaming. It usually happens at the end or right before the REM (rapid eye movement) cycle of sleep, and is a state in which your body is still relaxed but your mind is active. People can sometimes experience sleep paralysis when they wake up in this state for the same reason, and is also why they tend to hallucinate or hear things when they do experience this paralysis.
You can experience the state of hypnagogia when you’re first falling asleep if you keep your brain awake while you drift off to sleep and is how I’ve induced lucid dreams, mini shifts, and recently my successful entrance into the void. One of the most important parts is to let your body fully relax, so making sure you’re in a position that you feel comfortable sleeping in is definitely one of the key factors of making this work. Obviously move if you need to, it doesnt undo any process and keep in mind that you probably move in your sleep anyways, so dont beat yourself up if you need to scratch an itch or shift positions.
Id recommend doing this on a day you’re sleepy, but not exhausted so that you can enter it more quickly and without getting frustrated or dozing off from how long it takes. Keeping your mind awake is the other half of this process, which can mean different things for different people. Methods such as the raven method, for example, utilize counting and affirming as a method to keep your brain active while your body relaxes. I personally just let my brain go crazy and followed it around wherever it bounced to until it started to calm down and fall asleep. There, I’d affirm a couple times and start a new tangent line of thought by considering different aspects of my desired reality, and repeating it until you can no longer feel your body.

do you guys also get dream previews?
When I go to bed and decide, "now is eepy time", often I see these... pictures in rapid fire? Morphing into another? It usually starts with shapes/forms and textures and moves on to things I recognise but going back to shapes in transistion to more real life things? It is so hard to explain because it iterally feels like a dream but I am very aware that I am not asleep yet and can move a bit without disrupting whatever is happening
It is really bizzare and cool but I have never heard of anybody else experiencing that. But then again I never asked and maybe everyone does xD
I've come across the term hypnagogia but I'm not sure it it's that. I wonder if it's that if i can control what I see to a large degree and if it is only visual?

I bought Cindy Lee’s pseudo-unreleased(?) album CAT O NINE TAILS this week from Realistik Studios website and this is exactly what I need to hear nowadays. So fresh. So cool. So new??? Even though it was released like a few months after What’s Tonight to Eternity it definitely feels so damn new.
I finally figured out how to get around Spotifys changes to local file sharing and that’s kind of what prompted me to buy this album in the first place but wow oh wow oh wow oh wow I’m so enjoying it. As a single I think that I Don’t Wanna Fall in Love Again would work better than any of Cindy Lee’s other songs (if we aren’t counting 24/7 but that’s like actually unreleased so I’m not counting it). Like. A gorgeous beautiful song I’m obsessed with it. If you have a spare 15$ CAD I think CAT O NINE TAILS is a great album and you should buy it TODAY.
I think there’s also like a video on YouTube of this guy in like a skeleton mask covering the song and it’s so cute and his vocal range is kind of otherwordly I was so smitten watching that video it was so gorgeous.
