backpacking adventures: im so fucking afraid of gas why did I think getting this little tiny gas stove was a good idea

I’m on the hunt for those like shelf stable packets of usually Indian or otherwise legume-based meals for a backpacking trip because they’re so much cheaper than real backpacking food (also heavier but whatever) but like. it’s SO hard to find ones that even crack 300 calories. 300 calories is not a meal! are you supposed to be eating seven of these thangs a day. some of them even say “2 servings” and let me tell you, half of 250 calories is DEFINITELY not a meal.
