Yes, radfems absolutely do hate men. The statement above is something they say, it's part of the propaganda they spread. I think the problem is that this was a vent post that people were taking a discourse post, but OP’s goal wasnt nuanced discussion, it was to vent, so they took it as a threat and lashed out at any replies trying to have a discussion

You are wrong about intersex people, they are still either male or female, but with a disorder, they have a medical condition. If an individual has an SRY gene they're male and if they don't then they're female, but once again with a disorder. And sure they may be trans, that doesn't change their sex though.

What's the definition of menstrustion? Also a period is a synonym for menstruation, and it's not a scientific word. So once again what's menstruation?

Trans man is a man assigned female at birth, they arent originally male they transitioned to be a man. The main definition of man is an adult human man. Who grows up as a man, which most trans men do cause they transition earlier, go on hormones early to have a make puberty.

No Im not, considering the definition of Intersex is that "They dont fit into an exclusive male or female autonomy. They are either male, female or other. I didn't say it changed their sex, thats not what determines your gender, that determines your sex, gender is different then sex, gender is how you identify, sex is your reproductive organs. But being intersex is no longer considered a disorder, ad someone with SRY gene can still transition to change their gender, so they'd still be more than just male or female.

just a quick addition: a "period", as we know it, is JUST a collection of symptoms. if a cis women went through all the pain and bloating and craving and such, but didn't bleed, she could ask her gyno what happened and they would tell her that WAS a period. she just didn't have anything to push out at the time. and that itself would be a cause for concern, but only because she usually DOES produce a lining to remove. periods without bleeding happen all the time.

Phantom Periods, not mentioned in the article are a thing, so its possible to still have your period but not bleed, for both Cis and trans women.

weird and interesting phenomenon on social media platforms structured like this one is that when a post gets thousands of notes, the OP can often end up making a comment that suggests that the people who reblog it are somehow silly or missing some sort of social cue that would tell them, if they could see it, that adding to the note count is bad form

the thing is, when a post "breaks its containment" and gets outside of a blog's usual small organically-formed community, that IS annoying. you get argument, you get people not understanding your humor, etc. its not unreasonable to be annoyed. whats weird though is blaming individual people when the whole reason this is allowed to happen is that this website is mostly structured in a way many popular social platforms are structured (twitter, etc) when wanting to encourage "posts as content". the timeline/dashboard, tags, an algorhythm-based "content discovery". the emphasis on a constant stream of Things shown to you. the way discussion is so cumbersome and unintuitive (think layered text posts one after the other stretching out in an ugly way, having to search for replies in your notes or tags). this place is failing at being all of that, for sure. but it's trying its hardest not to. it wants REALLY REALLY BADLY to make money off us. that's why communities here are almost impossible to maintain.

Am I making the post now rather than later? Yes, otherwise the thoughts will fly from my mind as surely as Lucent Moths from a broken shield. So, this very good post I reblogged earlier about FMA has a lot of alchemy lore. Which, duh, for a FMA post. But I couldn’t help but see parallels to Destiny as well. Especially since the Throne World armour and weapons have alchemical symbols and equations on them. I know there’s many a reddit thread pulling them apart, and I’m not here to discuss the specific alchemy being performed, but rather the themes of Destiny’s grander storyline in relation to alchemy.

So, Esteemed OP states “The three main stages of alchemy are names the nigredo, the albedo, and the rubedo. Nigredo, the black stage, is when the matter of the Stone “dies” and putrefies, representing spiritual death. Albedo, the white stage, is when the matter of the Stone is washed, boiled, and turns to vapor, which condenses back into water, and the cycle repeats. This represents spiritual ascension and unification with the divine. Finally, during the rubedo, this “volatile” matter becomes “fixed,” crystallizing into the Philosopher’s Stone. [...] Gold is a metaphor for the state of spiritual perfection.“

What I’ll port over to Destiny here is a quick and dirty play-by-play of the timeline: Nigredo, a time of darkness and death, the Collapse. Albedo, a time of light and reformation, the advent of Lightbearers/Risen/Guardians; which coincides with the union with the divine, what with the Light being gifted to Guardians by the Traveler: a divine entity. And Rubedo, volatile matter becoming fixed, crystallization... well, I don’t want to say “Stasis crystals” because I don’t actually think this holds water. But I think the current third act of the story, where we are now, is this process. We’ll see it come into clarity (ha) slowly until it’s final step in The Final Shape (which is fittingly named, isn’t it?). I kept the quote on Gold, mostly to conspiracy-board about the Witness’ “Luster” in Rhulk’s lorebook. Because “Luster” not only appears golden in game when Rhulk uses it, but the word itself means “shine”, usually associated with metal, especially gold (ime).

Moving on, a slight aside as OP quotes the Emerald Tablet:

I can’t but remember Mara Sov: "I AM MARA SOV. STARLIGHT WAS MY MOTHER, AND MY FATHER WAS THE DARK." It’s backwards, but the construction is similar.

Now, while I don’t know enough about Queen Mara to involve her in this analysis, this brings us to the “Chemical Wedding” of Sun and Moon that OP described. Now, Destiny doesn’t make a big deal of the sun and moon. But it does make a big deal of Light and Dark, which stand in for the same concepts. And while both the Gardener and Winnower are genderless, Fynch describes the Traveler as “he” in his dialogue. Tied to this, the Witness’ Prophecy Wall in the Vow of the Disciple raid, states this (capitalised words are the symbols from the wall, linking words added for clarity):

“ the Hive and Scorn Love the Darkness and Worship the Witness the Pyramid Fleet will Enter the Earth and Stop the Guardian(s) the Witness will Commune with the Traveler and Drink Light the Witness will Kill [X]”

We don’t actually have the end of the prophecy. But I’m not after the entire thing. I’m after the third verse. The Witness wants to commune with the Traveler. We know the Witness is a, the, being of Darkness, a powerful one to the point they are synonymous. I think the Witness’ goal here isn’t to kill the Traveler, or even destroy the Light. Drinking something doesn’t destroy it, it means you take it into yourself. (There could be a Green Lion That Eats the Sun parrallel here but I’m not solid on this). The Witness wants perfection, wants finality.

OP gives us this breakdown of the guiding principles of alchemy: “ But real alchemy isn’t about chemicals, and it never really was. Savathun tells us the Witness was once mortal. And while nothing the Witch Queen says should be trusted, I think this might be a truth. The Witness seeking to transmute itself into a perfect state, not per the Sword Logic, no. No, it uses people who follow the Sword Logic, because real perfection is not achieved by cutting alone (solve), but by cutting and joining (coagula).

The duality of Solve e Coagula is incredibly strong in Destiny’s universe. As forces: The Light grows, joins, it is an additive process. It is Coagula. The Darkness cuts, separates, it is a reducing process. It is Solve.

And none understood this power more than... Clovis Bray I. He’d already thought of the alchemical ties when experimenting with Clarity: Alkahest, the Darkness-infused solvent that distills, separates, the human mind, the spirit, the soul, from the body (which he though base in more ways than one), and allows it to transcends into his vision of perfection: the Exo.

Clovis Bray I was an alchemist. His problem, his error and why he ultimately failed, was that he didn’t get to the step where he put Light into the matter (also his rampant and overwhelming misogyny would have kept him from androgynous perfection anyway, asshole). He didn’t listen to the She-Wolf, Alpha Lupi (which we know to be an avatar of the Traveler), in his dreams. That dream implies that Alpha Lupi, the Traveler, guided him to Clarity and Stasis.

Why would the Traveler, a being of Light, do that? Unless the Argument, the way to win the Flower Game, isn’t to use one, or the other of Light and Dark, but to achieve Perfection.

The Winnower banked on the Witness, who is incoming to drink the Light and achieve its Great Work. The Traveler... didn’t plan very well and seems to have been casting out hints to Humanity as a whole... Until: Us.

The Player Guardian, the Young Wolf (remember how the Traveler represents itself as a wolf?)

So far, the Player Guardian is the most accomplished entity to wield both Light and Dark. Guardians as a whole are capable of it not, but the Young Wolf was the first. And if the influence of Light and Dark are the purifying actions of solve e coagula, then only entities who use both can achieve perfection. Going back to Mara Sov: she made the Awoken with influences both of Light and Dark, and from my understanding, she sought perfection in their creation.

 I don’t know what’ll happen in Lightfall, or the Final Shape. But I’ll go back to OP’s wonderful post and pull out some relevant quotes:

“The goal of the alchemist is to become the Philosopher’s Stone, the place where Human and Divine meet and become one thing.“

To become perfect, to improve, you must let your old self die. This in some part parallels Guardians being literally reborn from the dead. And partly invokes Lightfall for me. For a Guardian to achieve perfection, they must let their old self die away. In the case of the Young Wolf, that is not their mortal self, but their idea of themselves as a Guardian. (I am worried for Ghost, here) especially since:

This is OP quoting FMA’s Truth. And I’m just going to toss up this old chestnut from the Speaker: “ The Light lives in all places, in all things. You can block it, even try to trap it, but the Light will find its way.” Destiny has always insisted that the Light is everywhere, from the Speaker to Misraaks saying as much to us. And the Dark is the same way: the Witness (imo, I can be wrong) telling us there is Darkness (reduction, subtraction) in our cellular processes, to Elsie enouraging us to tap into the Dark Within in Beyond Light. I am once again worried for our Ghost. True perfection would be to embrace our own inner Light (which btw is a track in the vanilla D2 soundtrack), not to rely on an outside source.

And in the end... well, OP’s finishes with the end of FMA, which Ed and Al getting their bodies back at the cost of their powers. But they achieved their purpose, they don’t need alchemy anymore. Their Great Work was completed and they can move on now. Alchemy, power, was a tool, not a destination in itself.

And for Destiny, for the Saga of Light and Dark... Elsie and the assorted Darkness/Stasis crew, even Ada, tell us Stasis is a tool. Darkness and Light are tools, they are power and power is not a destination. Perfection is. Once perfection is achieved, what use is there for power? Unveiling implies the Gardener and Winnower have played the Flower Game many times. And once the Final Shape emerges...

What happens then?

He does many things that serve his interests. You, as the mun, have no reason to take it personal, because I'm won't follow someone I don't like; if you DO take it personal however, and decide to rouse drama, then I'll be hard-blocking you. Goes for me as well —I have no reason to get angry for any of the things noted above.

B. My bonds page displays the relationships that have been built over time, not necessarily through interaction alone but over plotting as well. Refer to it for more information.

C. Interactions with OCs related to canon characters will only take place as long as said OCs have a detailed about page. Personally, I'm not interested in the idea of an OC being blood-related to my portrayal, so I apologize in advance.

1. Which trope you’re writing is the hardest for you?

this took a while to think about. so i’ll say anything dealing with time or ether dimension is the hardest to write about. for me, part of the problem is my mind trying to wrap around physics and making sense of it because i want to be realistic (which broke me a little). 

jokers game (a wip currently on hiatus and should be renamed since it’s cheesy) and wicked seven deals with this kind of dimension travelling trope...i’m starting to get an idea as i’m sketching out the outline and notes. 

2. Who are five of your favorite characters from books/tv shows/etc.?

okay so, im listing out my favorites so they’re re-l and vincent law (ergo proxy), zoya from the grishaverse...she’s everything a girl/boy/person can dream of and i am gay, and i hate to say this but i have to include it bc he’s a persona/brand...richard papen from the secret history. lastly, zhou ying (nothing gold can stay)...i just dig characters that are down to earth but headstrong and resilient af 

3. Who are five of your favorite ocs?

etienne, an oc from @popovs, he’s such a cool, refreshing character and my mind is still in awe from the excerpts shown abt him. a little mysterious bc i want to hear more about this dude. 

i have to mention that isadora or izzy, is one of the few characters i’m really rooting for, hope she could accomplish her goals in finding nadine and more (her relationships with maris and patrick is goals, honestly and also my favorites). bless @wiipciity coming up this amazing character!

4. What literary devices do you enjoy reading most? Are they the same ones you like to write most?

zeugma is one of the literary devices i enjoy the most, there’s something short and melodic about it that makes me excited to read on (funny i found myself using zeugma as if it’s my second nature). oh, i especially love euphemism and personification though i tend to write more of the latter. irony is also something i like to find and read about but not so much writing it...it tends to fall flat imo

5. If you could only have one WIP, which would it be? Why?

i’m keeping these hungry dogs, i rather not lose my other wips tbhh but having thd sticking with me for years made me biased...ope

6. Fantasy or Contemporary?

fantasy, it is my roots 

7. Romance or Bromance?

bromance, i just find them enjoyable to read and write about, also we need more of bromance in literature/media, they deserve the same spotlight 

8. Do you have any pet peeves in writing?

i typically find it’s insulting to have writers ‘spoon-feed’ their readers information, thinking they aren’t smart enough to figure the plot twist or foreshadowing by themselves. it’s very obvious when it does happen and i find it as a turn-off and quit reading. it’s sigh, most of the time it’s the writers not trusting their readers and this has to stop 

9. If you had to choose one album of some musical artist/band to represent your WIP, which would it be?

as a playlist kind of person, Ramsey could be a perfect fit for heir of the alchemist, she is an absolute phenomenon and powerhouse in vocals, the rawness of it, yes 

10. Do you have any pet peeves on writeblr?

hope everyone agrees to this or else i’m going to the corner. so this is for taglists, mainly. whenever i explictly said that ‘ask me to be added/removed to the taglist’, i ACTUALLY meant that, send me an ask. 

it’s been years and it bothers me a lot. instead, i keep having people writing in the tags asking me if they could be added, and chances are, i won’t be able to know or see them. trust me, i don’t have to the time to go through every reblogs/tags to look for them. and i am sure it isn’t just me who had this problem. i think i discussed with @montevena about this a while back and it’s tiring. 

but i need to throw this out that this isn’t an attack, i happen to make the same mistakes but actively trying to fix that. i think it goes with writeblr etiquettes, i believe there’s a post about this by @pens-swords-stuff...i apologize for this heated essay

hello! im not sure if you've already answered a question like this or not, but i have been wanting to start a roleplay blog and i have looked at your blog for alot of help. so basically i was just wondering if you could give some adive on what my first post should be and how to introduce my blog and muses? thank you, & sorry to bother you x

it’s no problem!! we have some information here, in our faq! (though if you’re on mobile you might not have seen that; i just edited our theme to include the link in our mobile description, so that should help!

however, i do think it’s a bit lacking, so i’m going to add a bit more to it!

1. the first thing to do, is decide whether or not you want your roleplay blog to be “dash-only,” meaning that your blog can only be accessed in the app or from the dashboard, or not.

dash-only:

means you don’t have to worry about a theme. 

if you block someone, they won’t be able to access your blog even at your url (it’ll just redirect them to tumblr.com/blog/[username], which they won’t be able to access if you’ve blocked them)

means that your blog information will need to be in a post, rather than a page on your theme.

theme:

having to work out a theme

means navigation is neater and you can add information on the sidebar

pages are not always accessible on mobile

blocked users can access your blog, even if they can’t necessarily interact with it past that.

if you want to turn on dash only, go to http://tumblr.com/settings/blog/[username] and flip this switch:

this can also be done on mobile by going to blog settings.

2. next, you should create a rules page! this is generally the thing that most people look for first, so it’s very important. (if you don’t have one, people are much less likely to interact with you.) edit: here’s a link to our post about what to include in a rules page!

3. then, an about page! basically, introducing your muse to people that might not know them. i’ll be posting a template for this that you can use!

4. then, go to your blog and find the permalink (the direct url) to the about/rules pages or posts, and link them in your description. (go to your blog settings again, click edit appearance, and then copy paste this in, replacing the bolded parts with your personal example.) this will make it accessible to mobile users

5. then, a promo! there are many versions of this, but there are generally two basic formats, iconified & large image + description.

iconified ones usually have a set of icons in a row, showing examples of what your character looks like and your style, a brief description of your character (think of it as creating an ad for your character! they don’t have to be serious, just interesting) and ending with a request to like or reblog to spread it around.

large image + description ones will generally have one big picture (often art, edited. for this, it is important to source the artist or template (if using a psd) used! then people will often have a quote underneath. this one was a joke promo, but often it links to your mobile about/rules. and then a small notice, usually something like saying what character you play, and what fandom they’re in.

IMPORTANT NOTE: you won’t show up in people’s notifications or in the tags until a couple days(?) after you make your blog, so it’s good to post your tag dumps before this, so tumblr registers you as a real user, and then wait a couple of days to post your promo/follow people back.

general tags people use for tagging their promos will be:

the type of media it comes from, ex: manga rp, animanga rp, video game rp, anime rp, video game rp, etc.

how selective you are: selective rp, if applicable

the specific media your character(s) come from, ex: one piece rp, op rp, one piece roleplay, op roleplay

note that often the tags will be condensed in those 4 ways, especially for long-winded fandom names, such as boku no hero academia, which is often tagged as:

#bnha rp, (an abbreviation of the japanese romanized name)

#mha rp, (an abbreviation of the english name)

#my hero academia rp

#boku no hero academia rp

and then all of those above versions but ‘roleplay’ instead of ‘rp.’

or, if your character doesn’t exist in a fandom, #fandomless rp

another note about this: only the first 5 tags you use on your promo will show up in the tags themselves (ex: tumblr.com/tagged/bnha-rp), but the tags after that will show, often, if searched (ex: tumblr.com/search/bnha-rp) so put your most applicable tags/most popular first!!

6. download xkit. here’s the link for the extension, if you’re using chrome, or here, if you’re using firefox, or their blog is here. this is not helpful if you plan to rp solely on mobile. i’ll make a follow-up post to this with explanations of how it’s relevant to rp soon, since this post is already pretty long.

7. follow some blogs! this should be done when you are not on mobile. go into the tags (mentioned in #5), click on their blogs before following, read their rules, and if you agree to them, then follow. not reading rules is.. really bad manners and generally shows disinterest.

8. track your tag. go to http://tumblr.com/tagged/[your url], and click the ‘follow’ button near the search bar. this will let you know when you’ve been tagged in posts. (not when you’ve been @’d, but when your url has been put in the tags. this is often used when people are posting a starter call they made fro you, etc.)

9. make an open starter! this is where you make a sample writing post, without a clear partner. the idea of this is to make it so that multiple mutuals can jump on this to start interaction, and also get a feel for your writing style!

10. once you’ve gotten some followers, post a starter call! make sure to specify if there’s a cap (a limit to the amount you will do), or if it’s mutuals only or not! you can also put these in the rp tags (see number 5).

11. reblog some roleplay memes! make sure your ask is open first, though! (go to tumblr.com/settings/blog/[your url] and click the switch for asks to be enabled.

as to how to find roleplay memes, there are tags that are frequently used, as well as blogs specifically for making them.

i was gonna put this under a read more but im fired up and apparently ready for the discourse even though im not going to be the second i actually post it lmao. and as a disclaimer cuz of my last opinionated post: i know this probably sounds angry. thats cuz im kinda angry. people get like that sometimes and make posts that sound angry to vent. and then people hop onto the post saying i shouldnt be angry. im not trying to insult any one person, im not trying to hurt anyone, its only anger for the situation slipping through. try to read and not think im angry at you, i just want you to be angry with me.

anyway lets go.

i have unfollowed a lot of aphobes. ive broken 3+ year long mutuals cuz they posted like, 2 aphobic things. im clearly not here to see aphobes on my dash and im not very tolerant of aphobic posts lmao. but ive also unfollowed a lot of people- aces included- who arent aphobes and could never be, because of aphobic things theyve posted.

by that i mean they reblogged and laughed at posts about ace people going too far in things (like including themselves on a gay or trans post when it probably wasnt appropriate and getting roasted by other commenters, things like that.) posts where they point out and bring all attention to an ace person who messed up, who took something too far, said something a little inappropriate to the situation, maybe something a little insensitive to other sexualities struggles, things that certainly arent great but are easily fixed through gentle guidance. posts that laugh at and mock these people. that belittle them and frame them in an ever growing picture of a “”“classic ‘wanna be oppressed’ ace kid.””” ive unfollowed people who arent and could never be aphobic because while they didnt post that they hate ace people or think they arent lgbt, they really like perpetuating the ideas of the people who do?

when you reblog, laugh at, and mock an ace person who has made a mistake, and the joke is funny because they are ace, you are purposefully adding negativity onto the ace label. the more these posts go around, reblogged by people who think “well its not aphobic! its just this one person who happened to be ace!!!” the more you shit on other peoples views of asexuality, and the easier it becomes for them to justify being aphobic. do you understand? you love ace people, love to support the idea that theyre lgbt sure, but then you turn around and help the people who hate them, exclude them, threaten them, want them gone, by laughing with them, by sharing in their mirth at the expense of what you assume to be just one ace person, but what actually becomes the entire community. and thats not even touching on the fact that with your excuses of not intending to affect the whole community you still think its ok to make fun of someone who made an honest mistake like that instead of educating them on what they did and why they shouldnt have. anyway.

this kind of shit ruins our fight. stomps on everything the ace community is striving for, works for. and it also ruins innocence of ignorance. something that to someone who hasnt experienced a bunch of aphobia would see as just a little mistake, an accidental overview, easily fixed, is actually purposefully aphboic. was made by someone actively trying to exclude ace people but effectively hid it under most peoples ignorance of the problem.

an example is this post:

honestly? this could be excused as just ignorance. someone wanted to make a cute little chart cuz it honestly looks like it effectively simplifies things and includes everyone cuz it doesnt use actual labels! only when you think harder do you realize it excludes ace people (and intersex people?) a quick woops from op and a little bubble added to the side, easy fix! honest mistake right? no harm intended?

but when youre constantly seeing exclustions posts, constantly experiencing this shitty fight for recognition, constantly exposed to the underhanded tactics people will use to hate without getting in trouble, you see it and recognize immediately that it was intended to exclude ace people. it was literally made only to say that ace people arent lgbt. made only to be a “fuck you.”

this happens with anything and everything. suddenly benefit of the doubt doesnt exist anymore, mistakes cant be made anymore, and people who reblog “innocent” posts that mock ace people cant be trusted anymore. because innocent posts mocking ace people dont exist. they are created and enforced and supported by aphobes and exclusionists. ace people and allies who reblog those kinds of posts under the guise of being able to admit their flaws, or because “the people in those posts deserve to be mocked, theyre not part of the ace community I’M in, i’m one of the sane ones, this person is just crazy/stupid” is kinda of laughably the same as girls who only hang with guys cuz theyre “not like other girls, im a cool sane girl, unlike those bitches.” they only serve to further segregate women and pit them against each other which is exactly what sexists want. what keeps them in power. literally the same thing applies to the ace situation. you are not different from the ace on that post, that is your ally, your cousin, your sibling in this community. if you think they messed up and youre better than them somehow then your role should be to show that you know better, that youre a role model they should emulate and copy, that what you do is right. you should NOT cross over to where aphobes and exclusionists stand and laugh with them.

lastly, this isn’t meant to be like, a callout to the specific people ive unfollowed for these reasons, more like a wake up call to the people who honestly, innocently, didnt know. please understand what im trying to say here and stop putting that garbage on my dash. its not “””woke,””” its not keeping it real, its not admitting your faults, it is and has only ever been helping aphobes separate the community. it only ever helps to hurt people. please see and understand that youre hurting people.

Yo, could I rant to you about something? Im just really frustrated with tyler and 21 pilots in general right now, because im gay and I don't know if I can support someone who says he can't deal with the ""burden"""" of supporting lgbt rights. I mean I like twenty one pilot's music, but how can I support tyler if he doesn't support me and my sexuality?

Yeah, I know what you’re talking about, and i’ve been conflicted about that for a while, too. I was confronted - though not directly - with people accusing tyler (and, by extension, top in general) of not supporting the lgbt rights and even being homophobic, and i wasn’t sure how to feel about top 

thing is, I can’t tell you that “no!1!1! they’re both fervent supporters!!” because that’d be lying, though it’s what I want to believe. 

I can’t come up with an excuse to justify what has been said in the past or deny the tweets and the silence that followed the legalisation of gay marriage on the 26th of june 2015. 

i remember being really destabilised when I learned that, and I understand you are too, even now. so here’s something i wrote after being confronted about it (because of my post “tyler joseph cares about you so fucking much” and someone reblogging it while adding something like “sure.,., the bean man cannot deal with my gay ass”) 

regarding the “tyler is homophobic” situation:

first and foremost, failure to speak up in no way translates to disagreement.though I understand the fact that people considering themselves bothmembers of the clique and the lgbt+ community expect support and approvalfrom their favourite artists, I have to insist on the fact that there may be manyreasons for why tyler didnʼt talk about the great decision that was made on the26th of june 2015. to name one that I can think of on the top of my head, hemay have wanted to keep quiet about it all because he doesnʼt know how to talkabout it. And if he did, people would be calling him fake, on the account of hisChristian faith. Homophobic behaviour is inexcusable, but when were tyler andjosh openly homophobic about things? Iʼm not trying to defend homophobia,because there is no right way to do that, but I do want to set some thingsstraight. You have a right to dislike, or even hate, some people, but please doso somewhere other than fan blogs and such.

As a cishet person myself, I have no right to claim that I know how theoppression feels, or how great it mustʼve felt to know that you could finally belegally wed to someone you love.

secondly, I want to say that this was over a year ago. people make mistakes andregret them. tyler has undoubtedly grown since then. twenty one pilots haverisen to fame quite quickly; tweets and such are easily misunderstood.

in addition, my original post (about tyler caring so much about you) was aboutthe fact that he stopped a concert because someone had called security, andhe was on edge, asking what was wrong. he truly fears for the clique.

I want to believe that one of the men i look up to, one of the peoplee i admire and owe a lot to, is a supporter. I want to believe that. 

and, one thing that makes it slightly better (as in, one of the things that convince me that he (they are) okay to support is that they’re both friends with brendon and halsey, who are openly not-straight and will fight for lgbt rights till they can’t anymore. I don’t think they’d be friends with top if op were homophobic, you know?
