TIME TO READ INTO IT WHOOOOO:

when they missed his birthday, he was like. "eh. it's fine. i'm thirty now, i don't need my friends to throw me a party. i'm an adult, i'm not upset about it."

especially because i'm sure reid didn't have a lot of awesome birthdays pre-series. i always got the impression he was mostly friendless until he joined the team, with ethan as the only exception (and in my heart they met and became friends in college, despite canon suggesting it was as young children). diana loved him and i'm sure she would have been lovely on his birthday, but i doubt she always remembered it (in the flashback to william leaving in 2x15 she doesn't know what day it is—i think it's very plausible that could happen on at least some of his birthdays) and if she did, she might not have been in the right headspace to celebrate it like she wanted.

(and even if she remembered and she was doing well, i really struggle to see any version of diana and spencer post-william leaving who wouldn't have had serious financial issues)

and then after spencer moves diana into assisted living (possibly on his birthday or at least close to it) he's mostly alone until he meets gideon. (again, except for ethan)

so, in summary: pre-bau spencer's birthdays were probably infrequently celebrated, and when they were celebrated, they were probably a lot less of a Big Deal than other peoples' were, for various reasons. so spencer spends about a decade growing used to not celebrating his birthday, then joins the bau and spends about a decade getting used to celebrating it, and then...they forget. not only do they forget, they forget the big three-oh.

so he tells himself not only that he's too old now to care about his birthday, but he spent so long not celebrating it anyway, and he's fine. it's fine.

and then emily finds out. and it's not fine. and he is upset about it.

(Ahhhh, so nervous. I did a set with radio-isnot-dead, and I thought yours seemed cool too.)

The demon had been sticking around the hotel but never really engaging with the redemption activities. She instead watched the other guests with interest, and there were always concerning noises coming from her room.

She looked more human than some sinners, but her form was clearly based on a wolf. She had a purple tail and ears that flicked around as she observed her surroundings.

One morning, you came down to a stand-off. There were three demons, clearly with I'll intent, attempting to drag some of your guests away.

The wolf-demon was holding the door, and at least 10 other canine like demons were huddling protectively around the other guests.

"I cannot let you take them. They are guests at this place that I have made my den, and the princess would not be pleased if I allowed harm to come to her guests."

She sniffs the air and smiles.

"Your Highness, good for you to join us. These miscreants are causing trouble, abducting some of our younger members. What do you wish myself and my pack, your loyal protectors, to do?"

She grins wildly, reminding you a bit of Alastor, who you remember really dislikes this demon.

Bro that design looks so cool but like ngl I really hope he never gets punched in that arm by like meatsweats or something

nice port you got there leo, would be a shame if that 5 inch rod suddenly got 5 inches deeper.

Anyways though real talk, when designing it I was mostly basing it off a humans shoulder anatomy. Chances are Leo's skeleton would be similar to what we have for our shoulders (just put the ribcage on the outside of the scapula rather than on the inside, also just ignore how he can shove his arms into his shell because dear GOD I do not know how to explain that one outside of cartoon logic)

Point being, the port was made to replace the humerus in a sense, and in doing so is basically bolted to the clavicle and the scapula through a little ball joint of sorts so there is a bit of available movement there. The clavicle being very firmly connected to the plastron, while also remaining flexible. The scapula is connected via muscle, so it is also flexible. And the rod itself meanwhile also can act as as a cushion. So if Leo were to get punched there or something at best it might crack the clavicle? But theres enough cushion provided in muscle to most likely prevent that

Alhaitham sat beside you, his nose stuck in a book as usual.

You sighed, your gaze trailing to the book. “Sometimes, I feel like such a third wheel in our relationship. I mean— You’re always deep in some sort of novel. You should be deep in me instead~!”

You joked, your tone teasing. To your surprise, Alhaitham snapped his book close, and brought his face an inch away from yours.

Alhaitham’s breath was warm against your cheek, and your heart pounded at his proximity.

“Alhaitham…what…?” You breathed out, surprise coloring your features.

Alhaitham brought up his hand, lightly cupping your cheek, so that you made eye contact.

“Did you mean that, or were you simply teasing?”

By this point your cheeks were on fire and you let out a soft, “yes.”

Alhaitham’s gaze trailed to your lips, and he brought his finger to them. You gulped, your gaze falling to his finger.

“Are you…?” You asked, your tone thick.

He smirked, his gaze trailing across your form.

“Should I?” He asked, pulling his finger away from your lips.

“You should…” You responded, craving the close proximity.

In response, Alhaitham closed the distance between the two of you, his lips capturing yours. He bit down lightly on your upper lip, making you gasp, and sliding his tongue into your mouth.

He tasted like cinnamon and mint, and you could hear his heartbeat from how close he was to you. After the initial shock, you returned the kiss with equal force, attempting to push his tongue out of your mouth. Alhaitham took that as a challenge, as he pulled you closer to him and began kissing you in a frenzy. After a few minutes, the two of you broke apart, and you greedily gasped for air.

Alhaitham smiled at you, his eyes narrowed into slits, before bringing his lips to your neck, trailing light kisses against your form. His hand hovered above your shirt, and his gaze met yours.

“Just—take them off!” You hissed, your frustration slipping into your tone.

Alhaitham smirked, as he quickly unbuttoned your top, and made his way down to remove your pants and undergarments. His hand wrapped around your inner thigh and he gave it a light squeeze.

You shuddered at the contact, before scowling.

“W-Who’s the tease now?” You hissed, your tone raspy.

Alhaitham chuckled, his tone deep and breathy, as he pulled off his clothes.

“Oh, believe me—“ He started, pressing his lips against your thigh and raking his tongue across it.

“You’ve seen nothing yet, dearest.”

You reeled at the touch, your body trembling.

“Should I educate you?” He purred, his vision flaring with a dim green light.

“Fuck— yes.” You swore.

Alhaitham’s vision flared once more, his fingers being enveloped in a pale fluid. He ran his fingers up and down the inside of your leg, bringing his index finger tantalizingly close to your anus.

“Manners, first. Ask nicely.”

You groaned, your teeth clenching.

“Damn it, Alhaitham— When do you ever ask nicel—“

Alhaitham’s finger rammed into your hole, and you gasped at the sudden contact. He sharply twisted his finger in, rotating it quickly, and you to process the new development, your body trembling.

“Y-You’re such an ass sometimes!” You hissed, a moan spilling from your lips.

Alhaitham pulled you closer to him, with his free hand, using the proximity to wiggle another finger in.

Your legs jerked at the contact, and you bit back the urge to moan. You didn’t want to give his teasing a reaction—

Alhaitham seemingly sensing this, picked up his pace once more. He twisted his fingers sharply, thrusting against your form. You gasped, feeling your body throb with warmth. Your legs clenched together tightly, and you felt warmth spread along their insides.

“Fuck me—“ You groaned, your tone breathy.

Alhaitham chuckled, his tone equally as worn.

“I already did, love.” He spoke, his tone silky.

“Fuck you—!” You responded, both amusement and frustration lacing your tone.

“You’re welcome to try.” He responded, wrapping his arms around your form. “Now, though— Let’s clean up some.”

You sigh tiredly, relinquishing yourself to your fate in his arms. As much as he liked to taunt you, he was also incredibly good at caring for your needs.
