johnny... sharing a book: johnny pegs me as someone who's super patient! maybe he's not bc... parasocial relationships LOL but in his interactions with everyone else, like that one jcc where mark doesn't want frozen yogurt and he was so nice abt it! but similarly to renjun, its nice to share something in bed but also both be consuming the same content yknow? he also seems to me like the type of guy who, likes to finish something before moving on to the next big thing WHICH means.... you spending about 5 months going through the entire percy jackson series PFTT. but its SOO GOOD and you both get so into it and after you finish the first two books you immediately both skip lectures or work the next day just to watch the movies and you both lose your minds at how bad they are TT. but yes its such a nice time to unwind! he loves having you lay between his legs, head on his collarbone as his arms circle around your torso to lay the book on your hipbone. he always waits for you to finish before he turns the page ofc! he also bought a little reading light that can be clipped on the the binding of the outside of the book and illuminate the pages in case reading went on a lot longer than expected. the bookmark that holds your place in the story was a polaroid picture of you sleeping HOWEVER it got replaced to a picture of you looking thru a glass of wine and it makes your face look all warped and funny lol. johnny always smiles when he sees it so its a good way to begin reading time hehe. kinda obvious but his body heat + his room + the smell of his lingering cologne on his sheets is chefs kiss, extra points if the apartment still smells like coffee from this morning OR the bottle of red wine he opened that sits on the nightstand </3

taeyong... customizing clothes together: GODDDD ya'll would be the most well dressed couple ever dude. yong is so creative, and i sense that he would want his partner to share his same taste at least when it comes to clothes and art! this isn't something you both do often bc... life lol but it started when you were cleaning out your shared closet. both sprawled on the floor, as you begin complaining about how you've both found pieces of clothing that you felt guilty about throwing away. then! yong suggests going to the craft/vintage store to see if theres any way to up-cycle what you've found. so thats how you spend the summer weekend. sat on the plush fuchsia rug in your living room, surrounded by denim, fabric squares, 80s brooches, lace, ribbon, etc etc as you spend the humid and sticky afternoon binging nana while you both sit in creative/comfortable silence, gluing and pining and sewing things to various articles of clothing. its SO cozy, funk music plays from the mini speaker you guys co-own and at the end of the task, you give each other a private fashion show styling your new clothes! he adores watching you pretend to model and eggs you on sm "y/n you need to consider doing this for real, everything looks good on you its not fair," this day is something that you both remember for a while. there were shared childhood stories, insecurities, dreams and you both were so much more vulnerable because there was something to distract yourselves with. the night ends in an absolute destruction of your living room floor, but accompanied with a cuddle session in his bed, the sounds from the ceiling fan and his heart beat almost make you sleepy, almost missing his whispered compliments and soft neck kisses.

yuta... hair: ok i know this is super vague but as a fellow scorpio who loves doing things to their hair, theres nothing more i want in life than someone to be able to do those things with! like ugh late night hair salon time with yuta, yup. this goes along so well with trust as well. i mean he's letting you cut, dye and style his hair and vice versa. i feel like he'd be with someone who's more edgy and this would be such a raw moment for you as a couple LIKE you're changing each other's appearances and its a time of patience. listening is extremely important as well and whenever you go through a new hair phase, sitting down at the sink and soaking up what the other has to say and practically baring their souls out while the bleach is very much stinging the top of his scalp is really fascinating LMAO, needless to say you guys aren't the typical couple, but it works. the amount of understanding and empathy you've both adopted for one another is lovely! and not to mention is super cute when yuta crinkles his nose, his teeth peeking out just a bit from the opening of his lips, because he absolutely needed a blonde wolf cut and hair is very much getting all over his face. in moments like this he doesn't think he would trade your adorable and super hot according to him concentration face. ALSOOO angsy, hot, jrock inspired couple photos are a must and yes, everyone on campus is jealous.

doyoung... driving: CORNYY BOOO yes ik, but guys? him driving, in that domestic ass button up and black thick rimmed glasses. he needs to be in jail bc he absolutely would be that bf to throw rocks at your window even though, yes you live together and yes its an apartment complex but, he wants you to feel that super giddy like, puppy bunny love again and he almost brought a boombox to play to play head over heels by tears for fears but... too much according to jaehyun lol. so anyways he loves late night drives with you. or any drives really! his favorites are a combination of picking you up late night from work and getting to hear all the drama whilst you guys eay in-n-out in the parking lot. and listen, im not trying to push the doyoung medical student agenda but... i 100% am and his reasoning for these late nights is because he's soooo busy! he feels guilty he doesn't take you out to nicer places and you always have to reassure him that anywhere he goes with you, is automatically a win in your books. its moments like these where he really grasps how lucky he is. oh wow.... you really do love him and it FREAKS him out in the best way. every night always ends sappy bc he's so GROSS geez. he's such a romantic in a way you would never expect. he's not cheesy or arrogant about loving you, and he never considers it something he has to do either. he just fully, truly and honestly wants to worship the ground you walk on. AND GODDDD the date was... truly when you fell harder for him. you spent the night swapping albums aka baring your souls and sitting on his kitchen counter as he paces back and forth in front of you as he goes on a tangent about his favorite artist. its like the world slows down and you both leave that date with a new record from the other and a notion that you were definitely falling in love with each other

Suki is a teenage girl who just experienced her first heartbreak by having the boy she liked lie to her,,, only to reveal later that he’s involved with someone else lol… yeah she’s fumming. There are also little things along that way that have added insult to injury, like the way sokka has ignored her and the other kyoshi warriors, or not even noticing her when she’s in the same room as him… idk with all the tension I wouldn’t expect her and sokka to make up to a point where they’ll hang out? But I do think a conversation between them is bound to happen.

I'm trans so any character I make is just. not gonna have an issue with trans folks by design. he has a harder time understanding a static, 2 gender system than a more fluid interpretation of gender- as a fun fact, there are some species of fungi with thousands of sexes! he wouldn't be phased by whatever your gender and presentation might be.

he would not mind a queerplatonic relationship! it might take a while to explain the difference between that and a romantic relationship with him, since he has an idealized concept of what romance is, but ultimately he just wants to be close with you and enjoy your company.

so, i dont really know exactly how to word things right so please bear with me while i try to explain a bit.

i think i have bipolar disorder (or something similar, im still looking into things), but i dont know if im just going crazy and imagining things. theres not really anyone in my life i can talk to about it to gauge their opinion, so im kind of left by myself to deal with it.

i dont have a trusted adult or loved one i can go to for help, and ive not been to a doctor since probably 2017 at the latest so im not even sure who id be making an appointment with to discuss anything like this. ive considered trying to get myself into therapy but im afraid that if i go in saying that i think im bipolar and have other mental illnesses (im about 99% certain i have anxiety and likely some sort of depressive disorder too, but that might be more linked with the mood swings of bipolar) that its the wrong way to go about it? like, i might just be really ignorant but i dont think thats how therapy works is it?

basically im worried that if i go in saying the disorders i think i have, then theyll tell me im exaggerating or that i need other people to back me up or that i do need to see my gp doctor (which, again, i dont actually think i have one) or that it isnt my place to try to diagnose myself etc.

im not really sure what im asking here? maybe if you have any advice/experience about what therapy is actually like or what i could expect? or a better way to go about getting help? i really dont know honestly aha, sorry

Well, you've definitely come to the right place lol, I've been to and ghosted many a therapist! (Don't ghost your therapist!)

Actually, recently I started therapy again and it's been a great experience, so let me tell you about it. Warning: I live in the US, so if you live elsewhere, it might be different.

When you start therapy, they're going to ask you a LOT of questions. Lots about your background, your childhood, your feelings, etc. It'll feel a bit invasive, but make sure to be honest! Like brutally honest. Like if you're like...'I might be feeling this way but idk if I'm faking..' tell them that. They need to know everything.

Then, if you're a minor, they'll talk to your parents and get their insight. If you have issues with your parents, make sure to tell them that BEFORE this part happens, so they can take what your parents say with a grain of salt.

Last, they'll give you a 'tentative diagnosis.' This means that this is what they think you have, but it's not a die-hard medical diagnosis. They'll treat you based on this, but if you ever wanted accommodations in school or anything for it, you would have to go to a clinical psychiatrist to get it written up.

Here's the thing: the diagnosis my surprise you or even make you feel invalidated. If it does? Tell them that. Because, two things: One- they may have gotten something wrong. Or two- they need to know if you aren't understanding something fully.

To be very personal, I am diagnosed with both depression and anxiety. When I started therapy recently and again got those diagnoses, I wasn't surprised. But I also was told I have 'illness-anxiety disorder' which is the new term for a hypochondriac. I was super insulted because I was picturing the stereotypical hypochondriac who fakes illnesses for attention (this was uneducated of me) but my therapist explained that this version of anxiety more means that I have a lot of anxiety related to being nervous to get sick or the results of getting sick. Which was like- oh. yeah. I do panic every time someone sneezes on me. My therapist said this has become increasingly common since COVID.

All this to say it sounds like seeking out therapy might be a great way for you to get the answers you're looking for. But even if they're not the answers you think they'll be, remember that your feelings and experiences are still extremely valid and no less real.

it's a surprise to both of them that their brand managers are dating, but one that goes over relatively quickly. it makes sense, in a way? the shared life experience of all but running a formula one driver's life is pretty unique, and certainly a strong enough bond. but neither pierre nor charles had anticipated it would turn into...this. an engagement, an announcement, an actual wedding? shit, they're the same age and have found their lives together, whereas charles and pierre are so caught up in juggling the day to day of their careers that the thought of settling down feels like a death sentence, of sorts.

it's a shared feeling. they talk about it, once, after texting each other pictures of the invite they receive in the mail like wow so this is what real brand managing looks like. it's not a long conversation, really, and maybe it's a little awkward in ways that neither of them can explain away, but it feels necessary, somehow. "youre not ready, yet, are you?" you know, for the lifelong commitment. "i am married to the sport," the cliche and cringe answer, followed by a softer "i dont really know how i would know" that's a little too heavy to be touched on. which, fine. they bump shoulders sitting out on the porch. it's mutual, kind of. they'll just have to survive whatever pre-wedding chaos they'll inevitably be drawn into.

and it IS chaos. as the best man for their respective friends, pierre and charles are responsible for putting together all the pre-wedding shenanigans, and it's just...such a mess. there's a reason they're athletes and not doing management behind the scenes! they facetime every night to talk about different elements of each party they have to coordinate, and it's productive at first but then just lapses back into the usual facetime conversations: family, some half-assed sports conversations, inquiries about how the music business is going. one night pierre dozes off on their call and charles thinks it's so funny that he stays on for a whole hour just listening to pierre snore. taking screenshots of the horrible angle his camera is at. making notes of things he's not doing for some guilt tripping later. (and if he thinks about closing his eyes, too, just for a moment before he inevitably does end the call...well. who's gonna know, right?)

the first event is a family dinner--joris and ilies' families, plus their mutual circle of friends, and a few gasly/leclerc brothers that are in town. and functionally, somehow, it goes smoothly? the reservation is available on time, and the menu that pierre and charles had selected is actually decent (okay so the chef's assistant had to step in a little, whatever) and EVERYONE GETS THERE ON TIME, which may be the actual biggest miracle of them all. and dinner is nice. it is! until the conversation on The Couple™'s side turns towards pierre and charles, and goes "how did you guys not notice this!" about their relationship. and before either of them can answer--theyre drivers! they cant notice everything!--joris pipes up, laughing, and goes "they were too busy with each other to see us" with a little wiggle of his eyebrows. ilies laughs so hard he spits his wine, the mutual friend group seems to immediately understand, but pierre and charles are like "haha...what?" about both the comment and how NO ONE seems shocked. almost like they'd expected that answer. "we're drivers," charles protests after a too-long beat, and the conversation skitters on nonetheless, but they're both like....wym.

the next dinner is more formal, and revolves around planning for the real engagement dinner. pierre and charles are the focal points at this one because they're going to have to put together the whole thing (see: hire people to put it together right) and things should be right. it goes normally, no questionable commentary. they meet up at pierre's hotel room after to exchange notes.

it goes late. late enough that pierre is like "whatever, just stay here. there's space in here, and it's not like we haven't done this before." charles agrees easily, they stay up later talking, and then fall asleep at some ungodly hour with a page of notes that mostly matches and makes sense.

charles wakes up with pierre's arm hooked over his waist, loose but heavy, and the thought of whatever joke had floated around before just...resurfaces in his head. just for a moment. he rolls out from under pierre's arm and pierre wakes up, slow and lazy. if he's aware of what'd happened, he certainly isn't showing it. they agree to go ship the notes/plans out to one of their mutual friends who's got actual wedding planning experience, and then it's set!

the engagement dinner also goes pretty smoothly. it happens over summer break, and the guest list is huge, and the bar is open which means MOST of the attendees get drunk af. pierre and charles drink... enough, but aren't exactly shitfaced. yet. charles plops into the seat next to pierre as dessert and coffee rounds are going, and their thighs are all but crushed together (bc, drunk) and he leans over and goes "we make a pretty decent team, huh" right in pierre's ear. pierre laughs. "we just called the right people, you know," he answers, and turns his head to roll his eyes properly at charles except charles is RIGHT there in his face, and oh. they're very close, huh. pierre can smell the sweetness of the dirty shirleys that charles has been drinking all night, and...well.

"there you are!" ilies yells, delighted and drunk, "you are both the BEST!" and he goes and hugs them both so tight, and whatever moment had been there is gone. they're best friends, of course they make a good team.

it starts to fall off the wagon, though--the label, anyway. planning is almost entirely out of their hands, now: they're just tasked with, you know, obtaining the rings and making sure certain people are off the guest list and organizing gifting stuff. pretty low key. except there's this undercurrent between them that's starting to get harder to ignore!!! it's there in the paddock, more obvious than before, and it's there between races, and every time pierre sees ilies playing with his engagement ring and smiling to himself all pierre can think of is CHARLES. which. why! would he think of his best friend! and then justifies it as bc joris but like...that's not it and he....he knows.

the rehearsal dinner before their respective bachelor parties is where things kind of come to a head. they sit together because it's just instinct, and everyone runs through their speeches and some of them are So Sweet, and charles is a teary mess and pierre squeezes his hand like "cmon, pull it together, save it for the real thing" in fondness. charles doesn't let his hand go. they spend the night crushed together until they have to leave for their parties and then finally let each other go.

there's plenty of drinking involved. they come to the same half-formed realization, though--it feels too good to ignore, being close like that--and they literally collide in their hotel room hallway, laughing all drunk and clumsy and then, quickly, handsy. they make out in charles' bed for a while. eventually they pass out, drunk and exhausted, and tomorrow is going to suck but like. they're not gonna be alone and hungover, right? they'll have each other.

this could be the start of a FWB thing but for the sake of shutting the FUCK up on this post, let's say pierre realizes it's more than just drunken feel-good-ness watching charles cry standing on the altar behind joris, and it catches him so off guard that friends in the audience claim they could see it then and there. pierre finds charles after the wedding. charles starts to say "we did it!" but pierre stops him with a very sober, very much intended kiss.

charles blinks, slow. "oh." then, a small smile: "really?"

and as far as it goes though for RPF? i think it's really not THAT bad of a thing. especially bc in all honesty its moreso about that persons public persona. & just because its parasocial doesnt mean its wrong to do, thats simply a descriptor of the dynamic between fanbases & public figures. there is some absolutely NASTY and questionable stuff out there especially like for kpop bands 😭

that being said public figures do have the right to be uncomfortable about it either way and i do find it unfortunate and disrespectful that fans arent willing to listen to them when/if they say they dont like having it written about them. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED THANK YOU i love all types of cats tbh. i love tabbies and orange cats and black cats. but like the last two are more colors and not breeds i dont think. BUT if i had to choose i would probably say tabby. but second up is definitely black cat because my aunt has this black cat and hes the sweetest nicest cat ive ever met. i love him so much and its really sad my aunt lives far away because i wish i could see him more. I DONT HAVE ANY PETS :((( i really want a cat though, but my dad keeps saying things about how the "house isnt clean enough" (even though it literally is. my room is a bit messy but thats like, my room) but i really Really really really really want a cat i want a cat so much thats a hard one.... i really like the boygirl flag but like any flag with berry colors is pretty good. i actually have synesthesia, mostly with letters/words to colors, but sometimes i can like actually taste colors. which is pretty cool but also annoying sometimes because some colors taste really bad accomplishments.... also a really hard one. living this long i guess? life is super hard but honestly i didnt really expect myself to make it this far lol. and also, being more true to myself. in 7th/8th grade especially i was in a big battle with myself because my npd traits and low empathy/sympathy/compassion were really coming out and i thought that i was just a terrible monster of a person that didnt deserve respect. and now i still think that sometimes but im getting better at being kind to myself!!!! if i could say one thing to the entire world, i dont really know. it kind of depends on if i want to be funny or nice. if i wanted to be funny i could say some ominous thing or something. if i wanted to be serious... i would have to think about it tbh. and it would depend on what was happening in the world at the moment. these questions are great... thank you so much /gen

I found your blog when I was reaserching sufism since I’m leaning into it and the first thing I saw was your post about fated love which is so crazy because I’m pretty sure I’m on a “twin flame” journey!

Last year I saw a guy I met 7 years ago and that I hated at the time and I got triggered beyond measurement (I minimized it to the fact that I was jealous of his accomplishments) and my life has flipped upside down since then. I’ve healed so much of my trauma & went though a complete ego death and went out to find my callings.

The only thing is that he has been on my mind for a whole year in a fundamental way and I’ve even had crazy lucid dreams about him and i just feel so pathetic at times for spending so much thoughts on a stranger.

When i first prayed to god for answers is when I had my first dream of him the same night as some sort of answer but I’m still confused.

Sorry if this information overload but if you have my more knowledge and advice on the subject I would appreciate so much ❤️

i have been on a twin flame journey for several years now and this is probably going to be a controversial take because i havent heard anybody else express this sort of opinion in the twin flame community (99% of people in that community are absolutely delusional so i refrain from taking part in that sort of thing) i honestly think uniting on the physical plane is probably impossible for many twin flames and i also dont think theyre meant to?

a lot of people confused limerence with twin flame-ness. idk who needs to hear this but the random married person you're obsessed with isnt your twin flame.

in 2022 i met someone who i felt strangely pulled to. he reacted to seeing me like he was struck by lightning and i felt repulsed by him. in 2023, it became this cat and mouse, back and forth kind of thing where it seemed to build into mutual obsession but after interacting with him, i was completely put off by him and felt even disgusted by him but at the same time, i have changed so profoundly as a person from that first encounter and the second encounter that i really cant make sense of it. he instils a sense of desire in me and makes me want to change things and be better for myself yk? he's like the silent voice in my head ngl, everytime i think of doing anything, i have him in mind as my imaginary audience lol. its not in terms of whether or not he would approve but rather in terms of his presence?? feels comforting?? so its nice to have his energy in mind whenever im confronted by something new??

the trauma confrontation, ego death, finding your calling etc are all part of the journey

if you feel yourself slipping into obsessive thoughts, try to focus on prayer, or work or your hobbies because its unhealthy to dwell on such thoughts too much but some minuscule amount of feelings for that person (feelings that are very confusing because it cannot be easily defined) will always linger. i wish them well and hope for the best but right now all i can do is focus on what their energy is doing to me aka undoing my life and making me level up lol and each phase of this journey is unique like that.

in my case, i dont expect to ever unite with him physically. i just dont think its possible tbh but i have a very strong feeling that i will run into him again in a few years and that its part of the journey idk

my advice would be to focus on yourself and not on him but by focusing on yourself, you are healing yourself of what is keeping you in a state where you react negatively to them, ykwim?? dont expect to be with that person, the purpose of a twin flame is to teach you things and help your soul ascend to the next level. union cannot be orchestrated and sometimes god knows best that union is not meant to be in this lifetime. but that does not mean this experience isnt valuable. the experience is what it makes of you. and its vvv easyyy to romanticize a person you dont know very well, just trust that its for the best that youre not with them tbh

Just read your fic 'Boy With a Broken Soul' again and i love it, wanted to ask how exactly it relates with your fic 'The Maiden and the Drowning Boy'. Since im scared of starting unfinished works (i get way too into it) i gotta wait till you complete it but honestly, i liked ur writing so much i think its worth it!

Also, you have the Tag 'major character death' in that fic, did that already happen in the 10 chapters or will it happen in the future? If it didnt happen already, would you mind telling me if aegon or abby will die... bc i dont think i could handle the heartbreak 🥲

Boy With a Broken Soul is a complete fae/greco/celtic myth AU with the only similarity being Aegon x Abby as the ship. Basically I was in the process of working on Maiden when I was asked to write that, so I just transplanted them in. While they're not as unhinged as they are in that fic, it's still true to their canon counterparts ;)

Thank you for reading the tags! So it has not happened yet, but I'm going to promise you that at the end of this story, Aegon and Abby are gonna live happily ever after. This is why I put it in the summary. there is a happily ever after at the end of this story. they're going to go through it, there's gonna be scary moments, but they're gonna be okay. Also obligatory: Helaena is also gonna be okay.

So little abby will tell you Gwayne Hightower was her first crush LOL but yes! The feelings have been there their whole lives, and it's always been this kind of unspoken crush thing but the further time went on, Abby sort of resigned herself to the idea she wouldn't marry Aegon, and Aegon further fell into his issues and didn't think himself worth her, and yet so demanding and possessive for her attention. So while you have this childhood connection, this first arc (Maiden is the first of three stories) is really about them falling in love properly, and not only that, but learning to see one another past the expectations and like... version of each other they have in their heads.
