My latest art is taking me a WHILE but I’m excited to share… but I can’t exactly put up a WIP.

I see y’all with your WIPs with sketch, then the line art, then the color cells, then the shading… and I raise you one or two layers of scribbles and circles, followed by messy messy color blob layers, like 20 of them, later merged together to create one fully completed and shaded arm overlaying the primordial scribbles and circles.

So yeah, I’d like to show you what I’m up to but Mo Xuanyu still has no feet so my hands are tied.

Going back through the Future N!2 squad posts, I noticed that Jamil and Leona both have arm tattoos (which look sick btw) When might they have gotten them and why did they get them! Thanks - Anon

Leona made his first sleeve when he was bored out of his mind before he proposed, when Jamil was too busy attending to the Asim to go on dates and Vil had a busy year doing shootings.

By the time he proposed he had his two sleeves completely done.

So yeah mostly it's just that he was missing his boys and he didn't have school anymore to busy his mind and he wasn't yet interested in helping Falena with politics.

Jamil actually has several tattoos but most of them are hidden. He's got a cobra on his arm that he made after being let off by the Asim, a flower on his ankle that Najma also has, one at the top of his back that he shares with Kalim, and a tribal one in the small of his back that he got after Koffi's birth.

Where Leona’s were mostly done out of boredom, Jamil's are pretty sentimental and tend to mark big events.

Chances are, both of them will have even more ten more years in the future, but that'll be for another post :3

Mission Report [12/27/20XX]

Brief: Nuclear activity has been detected in the ruins of research facility "Tartarus" indicating the presence of a working reactor. Investigate for possible asset retrieval and/or risk of the radioactive contamination spreading.

This is the 7th and 8th drones sent down. As per General ███████ of the Marine Corps, they will be the last for the foreseeable future if the drones end up mysteriously taken offline like all the others.

Fortunately, the Drone 8 managed to get clear footage of the unknown creature that's been taking the drones out (though, it was shut down not too long after by a sudden loss of its battery.)

It is theorized this creature is the escaped subject of Project ██████ once housed in the facility. It is unknown how it survived the explosion from 50 years ago.

Memo from General ███████ : "Change of plans. The higher-ups want that thing neutralized and captured alive--at all costs."

It's been so long. I'm so out of practice when it comes to painting!!
