I think what also draws me to " Joker hides his true self from everyone even akechi" other then it just makes sense within the text is that like
I think it's really mportant to put akechi in Is situations where he has to realize oh wait
"I don't actually know everything "
yknow?
Hi I only just noticed this but yes absolutely, I feel like he needs to know that his tricks and scripts for manipulating others aren't foolproof and that he's not the only one putting up a facade, and that people will do those things back to him even if it's inconvenient for him and his cause.
Not only does it draw yet another parallel between Akechi and Akira, but it also as a moment of catharsis for him.
He needs to get close to the oh so mighty leader of the Phantom Thieves for his plans to work. He would need to use whatever little vulnerability and ability of genuine human connection he's got left in him, but that would require an actual true bond and attachment with someone to be formed, which he both Isn't Used To and is flat out Inconvenient because he'll have to kill the guy. And can he kill someone he genuinely cares about without feeling guilt or remorse?
(Edit: no wait, sort of yes but also no. In the game's 11/20, he can pull the trigger no problem, but you get to the engine room and he talks about meeting earlier and wishing to be friends. He cares. He has to do things as his father wants but He Cares somewhat)
Ninjago tumblr gets access to polls and the tag is immediately bombed with "beat main character" or "best villain" or "best season" polls smhhhhhhh can't believe yall
Anyway, on a totally unrelated note
who do you guys think is the most deserving of a season :D
A year ago Friday I had a stroke. I'm thinking of getting myself like a nice dessert and I dunno, doing something in the sun that's chill if the weekend is nice.
I also thought I'd ask y'all, if you had an anniversary for a brain injury, what would you do?
