#i finally got around to finishing undertales pacifist route!!!!!!!!!!!

... ah kris you sweet summer child. we love you.  okay so yall want my head cannons? haha well you’re gonna get them anyway. ramblings ahead

first off the only thing I can think of that kris would say to make susie back of like this is “good” in response to susie saying their mom will be so much happier without them after susie bites their head off. cause, ya know, that’s kinda messed up. while susie acts the way she does we’ve learned that she’s really got a good heart under there so that kinda hit her and she left them alone for the day.  now, saying kris is suicidal is not a stretch with how we’ve seen them act, pulling out their “own” soul, having no energy, falling asleep in class basically instantly, their friends (asy, dess, and noelle who feels like kris doesn’t care about her) not being around them anymore. we can just feel the angst rolling off them, and of course wanting the soul to leave them alone so badly that they rip it out very often to just have a second away from us though it clearly hurts. now i’ve had this theory for a while, and i don’t really look at other’s theory’s so i’m 100% certain others have said something basically the same as what i’m going to but i don’t care at the moment. continuing.  

first, kris and frisk have the same exact hair and skin color as you likely know, so it’s pretty clear they are the same person just older. my head cannon is that kris here is a frisk that finished a possessed pacifist run meaning chara owns their soul now and has free run of the world to do whatever they like after the game is over and we lose control of them. so as usual we have 3 people fighting for power here, frisk, chara, and the player you. as flowey has stated, time passes after you beat the game of undertale and life goes on for frisk. now, want to know something messed up? cool, glad you do, frisk was 100% suicidal (in my headcannon) by the time they climbed mount ebott that was all they wanted, just death. this is why frisk doesn’t answer any call on the surface even though the monsters call them, they finished the job after they got to the surface and had control of themself again. (it was chara who tripped and may have wanted to live, just away from humans) if you leave frisk on a normal pacifist run then they go on with life because now they have their friends, life’s so much better for them. in neutral routs it’s all the same as before and they end theirself. chara is with us during every playthrough of undertale because they join the second we join. chara’s soul essence powered up frisk’s and (likely) made them able to reset and that jazz as it was two human souls in one. why didn’t chara’s essence go with any of the other people that fell on their dead body and flowers? red souls so they were way more compatible. chara is probably very sleepy and not really sure what’s going on through the game but during the geno run where you are doing so many horrible things, killing the ones chara was trying to save, you finally wake them up for good.  so, in corrupted pacifist line now that chara is in almost complete control of frisk’s body (or at the very least it’s just chara against frisk sense you finished the game and can’t do anything again) they can finally live their life happily with their monster family. but what’s missing? asriel. The one chara cared most about and got killed. Chara has had a taste of godlike power, why can’t they have their best friend? they can turn back time so why not? that’s where things get messy. I personally think that chara got frisk to agree to get sans’ machine working (that thing in his lab that i presume hops dimensions seeing as he’s from the deltarune world (right??? that’s right right?)) and sense they can turn back time they have all the time they could possibly want to figure this out. The idea is that this chara/frisk combo child finds the perfect alternate universe for themself. one where everyone’s already above ground, one where their family is together and happy, one where asriel is alive. they chose this world to join and make their permanent home. (maybe the coordinates to this au were already in sans’ machine so they got to this place easily) so seemingly to everyone in their own au right after they get to the surface with them, chara/frisk ditches them and gets ready to go to their new home, still a young child as frisk is. chara/frisk now kris, as it’s literally a combo of their names (Chara as in character which should be karacter i don’t know why it’s a ch lmao) then lives out their childhood in this au that they thought would be perfect for them. finally a fair life for two kids that had it rough. chara likely made a deal saying something of the sort “we’ll die after we live our live here” and frisk was like “fine whatever” but keep in mind frisk is so tired, so mentally ill it’s hard to even get up and walk without chara practically making them. hence school zombie. hell, it’s possible that frisk died during the fall to the underground and it really is a zombie. unlikely though.  anyway the theory was that frisk is the one pulling out the soul to finally have full control for a second, that’s why there is blood on the floor by the birdcage before you’ve even had any control in this au, meaning frisk was fighting against chara. however, at the end of chapter one we see frisk’s eyes shine red for a second and that is a chara thing. so that would mean that it’s not just the soul that chara can control, it’s also the body. (which mmmmm i don’t knoooooow about that one chief) chara would recognize your presence and knows you're the one that made them go through all this, you’re the one that killed the ones they loved so obviously they’re like “not today satan”, so i’m still unsure if the soul is us and chara completely or if chara has some control over the body as well. i don’t know and i won’t know for years probably. anyway that is all i think. farewell

okay.. how do I condense this down... stick w me

basically undertale was an indie video game released in 2015. it had a really unique and funny cast of characters and it was praised for its use of gameplay mechanics and subversion of RPG tropes. (x)

The game gained massive traction around this time, with its peak being January-ish 2016. I myself was a HUGE fan of the game, it was a proper hyperfixation for me. (my introduction to tumblr was under the name sansy-girl, so.)

In the game, depending on your actions, you can choose the route your character takes. For example, to get the “true pacifist” ending or the “real” ending, you have to never harm anyone during your journey and make friends with everyone. Even one person being omitted will ruin your ending and give you a neutral ending. However, you could take a “genocide” route, where you kill everyone you come across (It’s also known as the No Mercy route, if that helps..)

This route is notoriously difficult and extremely emotional. The game does not take you killing the characters lightly, and once you’ve finished this ending, your game file is permanently destroyed and all future endings will result in a fourth wall breaking moment where a character will condemn you for your actions in the genocide route.

This is where Sans comes in. Sans, in the pacifist route, is a seemingly harmless skeleton who loves puns. He’s fiercely protective of his little brother, and is generally a funny character. However, he oftentimes breaks the fourth wall and can be genuinely creepy.

In the genocide route, he is one the final bosses and is EXTREMELY difficult to beat. This is where megalovania (x)  comes in, as that’s his theme for his boss battle.

He, alongside another character, are aware they’re in a video game, and it’s implied that he knows whenever you reset his world.

Anyways, after the game’s release, he became a fan favourite character, mine included.

It got to the stage of people creating “sans skeleton ocs” with blogs gaining massive traction and storyline based ask blogs on these OCs. (x) Seriously, there was so many. Anyone who was anyone had an Undertale AU.

here’s one of mine, because I have no shame (the taller skeleton. yes. he was shipped w another version of sans. (art wasn’t by me! I don’t wanna link their blog bc they r probably hella embarrassed too but if u really wanna know just ask)

Because this happens to every fandom, soon people were drawing NSFW art (under the name of Undertail) of all the characters, especially sans. I’m unlucky enough to have seen some of this art and please, for the love of god, don’t look it up.

Sans slowly became of sort of.. meme? after this? sans had an infamous line saying “do you wanna have a bad time?” and that was certainly memed to death (x) (x)

It’s easy to lose track of sans from here. Some point last year someone posted the “fingers in his ass” video (x) and he was a meme on TikTok for a while too.

Endgame Deviation: Thor the Gamer

So picture this: after Infinity War, Thor is wracked with guilt and a sense of failure. He feels he can’t be trusted to fight.

Valkyrie and the surviving Asgardians rally and ground him. They remind him that Odin also failed to protect them from Loki and Hela. Thor takes effort in rebuilding on the land allotted to them. He leaves the Stormbreaker to gather dust in his hut’s corner.

He has good days and bad days. On the bad days he asks why he didn’t go for the head. Good days are funerals for celebrating the dead in Valhalla, to carve model ships that go over the local waterfall.

It starts when Korg buys a PC and starts playing games. Thor joins him one day and sees tribute to let’s players who were dusted. The survivors raise money for charity. Thor feels some of the guilt, but inspiration on seeing people who have lost everything and are seeing them give their time and happiness.

A phone call to Tony and some tutorials later, Thor learns to work a stream. He tries out a peaceful building game. Sleep eludes him because he dreams of the sound of necks snapping, and Loki’s choked final words.

The stream is a hit; people like seeing their hero as human. Thor can give him his time and hammy reactions. Of course he has guidelines: there can be no game with an utter downer ending. Otherwise he’ll have to carve more boats. They’re running out of llumber on the island. Thor must have a chance to inspire people.

The softer indie games get to him. He cries after playing Undertale the first time, and flies to thank the creator. The Pacifist route allows him to save his father and mother from themselves, and honor Loki. Loki as a child would have fed buttercups to Odin as a joke. And Loki did die trying to save his brother.

When he likes a game, he flies to help the creator out with anything they need. The Toby Fox visit goes viral after he asks the gaming community to help the creator with the sequel. Thor realizes he can use his celebrity to crowd fund.

He and Morgan play whenever they go to visit Tony. Tony has been trying to live simply but can’t resist the lure; he finds and adapts Nintendo drivers so all three of them can enjoy each other’s company. Morgan’s love of Duck Hunt disturbs them, and she becomes a giggling crackshot. Pepper insists on some educational games, so Thor helps chase down Carmen Sandiego and learns to type rapidly.

Tony knows Thor is broken and in denial. But also Thor, like Tony, is trying to make something good out of all the bad that happened because their plans went wrong. When they try to talk out what happened, their throats close.

Bruce Hulk ends up getting through to Thor, after Scott appears from the Quantum Realm. He waits for Thor to finish recording his latest stream on a sleepless day and night. Then they talk.

“I can’t do it,” Thor says. “I am not worthy for real battle. The Stormbreaker accepts me, but Mjolnir would not. I would sabotage your mission, good friend.”

Hulk gently grabs his shoulders and tells him Thor did his best. Thor isn’t unworthy. This is a chance to change their future for the better. Creators who got dusted or lost their motivation after seeing entire families and neighborhoods die. Or those who keep going because creation is the ultimate rebellion against certain oblivion.

“Do it for Toby,” Professor Hulk tells him. “He would want you to save this world.”

Thor messages Toby, giving the gist of the time heist without details. No need to give someone false hope. He gets the words he needs to hear before preparing to go back in time and steal the Aether from his ex. Jane has never looked more lovely. He leaves a USB containing undertale by her side and a long note.

After, he and Morgan play ten hours of Ninentendo to honor her dad. He claps her back with pride when she wins nine out of ten rounds of Duck Hunt. Popsicles and cheeseburgers substitute mead easily.

Thor doesn’t plan to become a Guardian. Too much work to do on New Asgard as their king. He orders Peter to find his grandfather afrrr learning he’s from Earth; life’s is fleeting and fragile. And he keeps gaming while the people around him rebuild and grieve once more. He keeps streaming, but with more fervor and joy.

60. Which battle was the hardest for you?

So, uh, story time.

No mercy run spoilers.

I did a total of 1 (one) no mercy run, and it was, uh, something. I was definitely a bit guilty while doing it, but for the most part, I just... turned my emotions off?. I mean, I was doing the murder run,  I had weighed the options, I had decided to do it, and feeling bad wouldn’t fix anything , yeah?

Got to Undyne, and man, that was pretty exciting. And aggravating. But it was cool! Much better than all the easy grinding. Undyne was the 2nd hardest fight for me, in all of Undertale, no question. I had to try hard for once! I had beaten Asgore in like 4 tries the first time I fought him. It was a challenge, and I could do it and say that I beat her as long as I didn’t give up!  Took me 2 hours to beat her- a long time, it was aggravating for sure, but not long enough to make me start seriously considering quitting. (Although, emotionally, Papyrus definitely gave me more pause.)

Now, by the time I got to Sans... well, I was at the end! Finally. I had known what was going to go down-that it was hard, so hard, but it was the coolest part of the game and I was there, and it was almost over. But, to get there? I had too choose over and over and over to do the wrong thing. I mean, the game was screaming stop it! Grinding is boring, it takes forever, the silence and slowed music gives you the chills... and then it throws Undyne at you to try and force you to stop. But I had persisted, and for what? The experience. I wanted to see it all for myself. Man, I knew I could have just watched a let’s play and be done with it, but I didn’t. Seriously, I didn’t have to be doing it at all.

Still, I was in the judgement hall, and boy was I going to get judged. And the judgement? Sans was not happy. And oh man, it kinda sucked to have him be mad! Aside from being partial to his character, being alive while everyone else is dying, dead? Ouch.

..On days like these, kids like you...

Well, I was going through with it, it was exciting, I wanted to see if I could get past him, if I could have the bragging rights that I-

I died on the first attack.

As most people do.

Welp, gotta try again!

11 times later, he ran out of funny things to say about the number of times I had died. Aw man, really? Obviously, it became more of a slog without the knowledge of hey, at least I’ll get a new joke after dying. I’m pretty sure that my item stash was less than optimal so I think I went back to buy some more whatevers sometime. I had used some snowball pieces with Undyne, but still had the pie. Tried using the frying pan a few times , too, for the healing bonus, but I just went back to the knife as it was quicker.

I took a shot at him for about an hour each day, and by the third day and hour, well, it was pretty dang aggravating. I could give up- what’s the point- no, I need to- I’ll finish eventually if I just keep trying come ON-

Often, my hands were shaking. My heart was always pounding. Needless to say, twitchier hands did no favors for my survival rate many times.

At some point I was able to chill out a bit and get more focused and less shaky. It helped- adrenaline is only good to a certain point, really.

It was the 6th or 7th hour that I got to his final attack.

Oh man, I died so many times on his last attack. I didn’t even always consistently get to it! It was only like, every couple of tries for a while. And sometimes my health was shot as I had used too many healing items already. I got to the stupid blaster circle thing quite a few times.

About 75 tries in, (I did some estimating calculations afterwards), and somewhere around 7 hours of fighting, I survived his final attack. At this point, I can say that I am nothing if not stubborn- I kept trying and losing for 7 dang hours for little more than the experience and bragging rights. I was so relieved! I finally did it! It was over!

Now, the thing was, I had previously decided to not get to Chara to not get that marker that would, yannow, change the ending bit of a pacifist run a bit. So I wasn’t even going to walk out of the hallway. So really, I could have just quit the game without killing Sans and be done with it.

I killed him and saved over his death for really, nothing more than to finalize it. And that was it. I reset (wiped the files, if I recall correctly- didn’t want any reminders of my murder run) and did a pacifist run again so that would be the last thing that had happened. Might have done yet another paci run at some point, don’t remember it was a long time ago, but that’s where the game is to this day. A pacifist run I did over a year ago. I hope they’re having fun on the surface. They deserve it.

I still think about my murder run sometimes- evidently, I’m still ruminating over my feelings about having done it, or I wouldn’t have written this much.

Still, I got what I wanted out of it- I got the experience. I can remember details about the murder run more accurately than if I had just watched a let’s play, and I have more emotions and thoughts about the characters and Undertale as a whole. I don’t regret it- who knows if I’d still be this much into Undertale without the ride that was doing the no-mercy run myself- but man, it’s a nightmare to think too hard about., that’s for sure. Especially when you really care about the characters and have literally not touched the game for over a year because you care so much about them.

“Let Frisk be happy. Let Frisk live their life.”

And I did.

Of course, now I’m getting the urge to open up my steam copy of Undertale.

I’ve played the other version, so isn’t the steam one a fresh slate? One I could play a pacifist route again on without guilt? Maybe get some dialogue screenshots for my personal use and satisfaction? (I screencapped all the Deltarune dialogue as I went through it, but alas the habit was not there when I did Undertale originally).

I suppose only time will tell.

I haven't seen anyone else think this so far but

What if this is post-pacifist run? What if instead of killing everyone else after getting to the surface, Chara took away their happy endings instead?

*spoiler* asking around after the game reveals that 'Kris' is a little terror. No one has any memories of the pacifist ending despite a lot of the things we see people doing are the same we se them doing in the pacifist ending.

Alphys is lonely, Mettaton isn't himself, Asgore is broke and living in his store, Toriel is living in an Empty Home, Sans has no friends, and neither does Papyrus.

The only person who seems happy with these things is Kris.

The only two characters we dont see this chapter, are Asriel/Flowey and Papyrus. Even if we do see their dark world counterparts. Both of them are most impactful deaths in the route.(Papyrus being a final warning and Flowey being a straight up massacre you have no choice in)

Deltarune pretends to have choices... but I doubt there are any other routes. The random encounters arent the same as undertale so a geno route isn't possible, there just isn't enough people or time to make it to LV 20. Plus no one that played Undertale is going to FIGHT unless it's the only way. If someone did Fight through the game, please tell me if you got a different ending. At the most I think itd just be easier to finish the game, and Suzy would think of you as a friend sooner?

Either way, if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to discuss this.

What do you think the state of the Undertale fandom would be if the genocide run just didn't exist?

I think it would be... less here tbh. 

That route really shows off who these characters are at a much greater depth than just the pacifist route can offer, and we would definitely lose a lot of content if we didn’t have that because I think knowing who these characters are when faced with disaster is a big part of the fandom’s staying power. Plus, it really enhances the pacifist route to know that you had a choice in the end.

When I first finished Undertale, I felt like I was going to have to defend Papyrus, but instead of “actually he is smart and complex” I thought it was going to be “actually he is nice and good.” Because that run is a clear sign of his good nature and kindness and mercy, and it’s far less obvious without it. I feel like people might take him at face value, and it would be kinda negative.

Ditto for Undyne, actually. Her heroic motif would seem a lot more... forced? I guess? If she was never ACTUALLY the underground’s hero. And Alphys would probably be heavily villified without at least two greater evils for the fandom to focus on. 

(I can’t figure out if Mettaton would just a worse rep or not. I’m imagining his ending would be the OMG THIS IS SO DARK I GOTTA WRITE AN ANGST ABOUT THIS option, though, and now I’m really mad it never was)

Sans... might actually get a bad rep too? If he’s anything besides a pun bag. Without the context of the no mercy run his hints of depth would look pretty sinister. Maybe there’s some theories that he made Flowey??? And is the actual Big Bad?

But mostly the butt of every joke.

The neutral runs also don’t do a great job of playing up the human’s EVILNESS even if you’re on one of the worst paths, so I imagine we would see a lot less human-resetting-ultra-evil plotlines, though maybe we would still see a bit of it.

And Chara who? They barely get mentioned. Maybe someone somewhere makes an AU about them, and thats all there really is.

I think goat mom and goat dad get about the same characterizations, maybe with some different hot takes floating around. Their stories don’t change much for the no mercy run.

Ican’t figure out if Flowey’s portrayal might benefit from this. On the one hand he might get the villain ball more often, and without his no mercy run speech I think you lose a lot of understanding of him. But at the same time, Undertale IS his story, and without a huge fandom fav distraction, more stuff might actually end up focusing on him? I’m kinda sad for all the floweypot rehab fics we never got.

And finally if Sans doesn’t matter and Papyrus is a jerk Snowdin becomes a much less popular location and Grillby is a footnote.

But that’s a LOT of speculation.

but at the same time it didn’t, I notice some things were off about it.

so I tried to refresh a few times....nothing really changed.

and a few times it was just black background, well I did make the background black, but this was just the color of the background.

and a few refreshes to the page, it finally showed some of the stuff I posted,

but not all of it, so I decided to get ready to sign in,

but first I had un-bookmarked my tumblr page, and then I signed in

and everything seems back to normal.

I decided to change the color and the name to my tumblr page a little bit.

so now it’s no longer “Delta-Flowey The Flower”

and is now “Flowey The Flower of Deltarune”

and the background color is now purple instead of black.

even my top photos and recently likes didn’t appear, it was like only a few of my posts and that’s it.

it was really strange and I guess I might change my tumblr page’s name again.

but I don’t know when really, but I do have a fan art that I want to post on here in a little bit, like after I get it fully done first.

well everything seems to be back to normal on my tumblr page now,

so that’s good. 

yesterday I was trying to play the 1980s Mode of Yandere Simulator,

and I wanted to try to go down the Pacifist Route with the rest of the rivals,

and you can’t with the very first one, because of the whole Time Paradox thing.

and all of the sudden when I’m in the classroom looking at one of the rivals belongings, and I was going to try to talk to her again and try to befriend her and then send the note in her locker.

but I couldn’t do that because the game stop working on me,

it look frozen and no matter how much I messed with the game controller it wasn’t gonna work, then I found out the internet connection wasn’t on,

so I had no other choice but to turn off the computer and turn it back on.

lucky I wasn’t working on anything when that happen.

I hope once the 2022 Mode of Yandere Simulator is finished,

it will end up on the Nintendo Switch like Doki Doki Literature Club Plus has.

that would make my and many other fans day.

those two games are one of the best video games to me,

well them and Undertale, Deltarune, FNAF and Bendy and The Ink Machine and few other games.

Cuphead too, but I think I would rather watch a walkthrough of that.

I only got two soul contracts,

which once again is from that Goopy and The Root Pack.

the HP kind of sucks, and it be nice if there was a update where the HP could be upgraded to a higher number that would be a little bit more fair to the players.

like maybe around 19 or 20 HP.

if the game story had Devil and King Dice plan to put the HP so low for Cuphead and Mugman, it still makes me feel like punching Devil and his boyfriend Dice’s lights out.

my HP kept being taken down when trying to fight Hilda,

and just as I’m at the part where she turns into that Red Moon...

I end up with a Game Over.

the game is still good, but I am still not getting anywhere because the HP is not all that great, even if you can add a little HP, it still isn’t enough.

it be nice if one of my family can help me with it,

like play as either Cuphead or Mugman, but I don’t think that is gonna happen any time soon.

I guess I can keep trying, but I got so mad trying to fight Hilda.

I guess for now, I can just watch walkthrough of the game.

 anyway I’m almost done with the drawing I have,

and it has to do with Cuphead.

I hope the Cuphead Show starts soon, well that and the new episode of Helluva Boss.

once again, the first time I saw the Real Fizzarolli

I couldn’t help see him as so CUTE,

I am looking forward to the episode he will be appearing on.  

what was happening with my tumblr page can be seen as one of those days where something isn’t working right and we can only hope it doesn’t happen again.

this year had some ups and downs, March, August and even a bit of September sucked for me.

at least finding out I have a little telekinesis is more tolerable than the mess I had to put up with....

I think my first pendulum acted as a key to unlock it.

I’m glad I got the idea to use two of my bracelets to act as sealing charms/limiters, so the only thing that moved with my thoughts will be my pendulum.

it was freaky that other items I would touch/hold would start to move

when I thought “clockwise” or “side to side” or “circle”

after fixing the problem, and wearing my bracelets,

I have checked a few times with a bottle of mount dew and one of my pens.

and thankfully they aren’t moving like how my pendulum moves, when I look at them and think about either clockwise, side to side or circle.

another reason why I decided to have two of my bracelets at as sealing charms/limiters, so that the telekinesis that I discovered I had,

wont end up growing more powerful to the point where I don’t need to hold something and then think about how it should move.

I don’t trust myself to have that kind of high level telekinesis.

what would happen if I did have it, and I got really REALLY upset...?

I could end up hurting someone without meaning to,

and I rather not take the risk.

I know I didn’t think that would happen to me,

that I would get a small bit of telekinesis, which once again

I believe my first pendulum might be responsible and had unlock it.

like it is possible I always had it, but it was kept under locked.

even if in that one movie Matilda,

Matilda masters such a power perfectly and was able to have a happy ending and a new Mom that loved her.

but with movies like Carrie and Silent Hill, there can be a dark side to such powers if your not careful.

in a way movies, video games and even books

can be good  to learn about the dangers of powers,

and how not to make them a danger to yourself and others

if you feel that you can’t be trusted with it if it gets too powerful.

I held my two bracelets in my hands, with the food salt and prayed for what I wanted, and I am happy it worked.

even if there are others who can be more careful with a high level of telekinesis, I know I can’t because of certain reasons.

I’m okay with it just being the pendulum moving all pendulum like,

but not my bottle of pop when I hold it by it’s lid or other stuff.

at least it only happens with stuff I physically touch with my hands.

even if someone was in the room with me and saw it themselves,

to them it might look like I’m using my hands to move it,

but really it isn’t, and it is doing so with my thoughts.

the first time that happen, was some month ago.

I was holding one of my childhood items and it started to move like my pendulum.

I guess it didn’t really hit me that the reason why that was happening,

was because I had gotten a small bit of telekinesis.

I’m glad I got the idea on how to make it so it doesn’t happen again

and it is only my pendulum that moves that way.

I know I will have to take my bracelets off for certain reasons,

but I would still want to hurry and put them back on.

I’m still going to keep sleeping with them on too.

I don’t think I can talk to my family about it,

telling them I have a small bit of telekinesis.

it’s best that I don’t tell them for now.

anyway I’m glad that I fixed and edited my tumblr page a little bit,

and I hope this Halloween will be awesome.

The Game

Chapter 1: Game Start

It's already been a long day and you're finally getting to your car. You're really excited to be getting to your friends house to play his new video game. Unfortunately you just can't help but think about everything that happened over the course of the day.

Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong which includes the very beginning of your day. First off you woke up with a headache, after a nightmare that you can't even remember. Only to realize that your alarm didn't go off and now you're gonna be late for work. Then if that wasn't bad enough you get to your car and find that you're low on gas. When you finally do make it into work, you're not only late but you also find that your boss has decided to give you every single bad customer available. You couldn't help the relief on your face as soon as the day ended. Now you're in your car heading to your friends for an entire two days of playing this brand new video game.

Justin was so excited when he first heard about it. He couldn't stop going over how it had three different endings. The first ending he thought you would like, it's a Pacifist ending. That means that all of the characters get out of the game safe, sound and happy. The second one he said was less thrilling for you but gave a different aspect to the game. He called it the Neutral ending. Basically with that ending something happens and the only one to get a happy ending is the character you play. Not something you were particularly thrilled with but something you could live with. The third ending however was the worst, and unfortunately it was the one he was most excited for. He called it the Genocide run. In this run he said everyone had to die. Your favorite characters your least favorite characters and everyone in between. He knew that, that was the one run you would never do. However he was unsure how long it would take to finish the first two runs so you thought it would be a great way for you to to spend time together. After he told you about the game you did a lot of research on to it. You really like some of the stories that came from it. You especially liked some of the stories pertaining to a particular character in the game. You are really looking forward To interacting with this character yourself.

Your car finally pulls into the drive. When you get out, you walk up to the door. Justin always kids you about how you knock on the door, telling you that you don't have to. You always thought it was just the polite thing to do. Plus you know Justin. He has two roommates and sometimes the stories they tell say that hes not always decent when you get home. So while he may be your best friend you don't want to just walk in on him. So you walk up to door.

"Knock knock"

"Who's there?" came a voice on the other side of the door. Now you know who it is. Justin had begun answering like this trying to annoy you into walking in any way. What he doesn't realize is that you love it when he does this. It just makes you feel special like an inside joke. So instead of just walking in you answer.

"Hoping"

"Hoping who?"

"Hoping you didn't forget to order the pizza before I came."

You hear a loud snort come from the other side of the door, before it cracks open. "That was bad." he said.

You give him a sly look with a smirk. "Then maybe you should stop answering the door like that." he smiled.

You look him over quickly before heading inside. He was a full head taller than you with Sandy blond hair and blue eyes. He really was handsome though not your type. He was a princely type of guy, good at everything, loaded, and he knows hes attractive. Sometimes his arrogance did not sit well with you.

You wanted more of a knight. Someone a little rough around the edges, but would still treat you as a lady. That's really how the two of you met. There was a gamers convention in Chicago and he was dared to seduce the next girl that came, and that just happened to be you. You were flattered by the attention, but nothing about him made you "sing". That's what you call it when you're intrested in someone, for some reason you always feel like singing. When you turned him down, he kept finding you at different places and trying again. You had a suspicion that he couldn't stand rejection. Anyway because of his persistence, you found you had a lot in common. You knew you were never gonna date him, but that didn't stop you from becoming friends.

You stepped inside and walked past him to the couch. "You never did answer me about the pizza." You said over your shoulder.

"Yeah I ordered it. Told them to come around 5:00 p.m.."

"Nice!" You smile at him. "So where's this game I keep hearing about?"

"Undertale? It's on my console. Hold on and I'll bring it up on TV."

Justin had a lot of Tech friends, that always hooked him up with the latest in gaming technology. His version of undertale however was a PC game. Apparently his friends found a way to make his big TV the monitor for the computer. It was always interesting gaming with him.

Once he got it booted up, he announced that you should both try for the pacifist route first and see who found more and who made better time. You weren't interested in either of the other routes so you quickly agreed. You watched him play for hours only stopping long enough to get the pizza when it came. When he finally reached the ending it became a Pacifist Neutral Route. During the end there was a hint that you should get Undyne and Alphys together. Justin wasn't happy that he missed something, but gave you a turn.

Once you reset the game you became excited. You quickly went through the door to meet Flowey. You didn't like him, but trusted Toriel to come save you. You followed all of her instructions. Even when she asked you to wait for her you did (to Justin's chagrin), until you realized the game intended for you to wander on your own. You made friends with every monster you came across. When you met Napstablook he actually killed you a few times, before you became his friend.

You loved making friends, but you never were great at video games. When you made it to Toriel's place, you found that you really loved talking to her. You even slept, and found pie in the morning. Justin laughed at your expression of surprise and warmth at the gesture.

"Like you didn't know that was coming."

"What can I say? I just really get into character."

"Ha! That's an understatement and a half."

"Come on. You know that's why you play games with me. I bring the adventure to life." you said with a wide grin. He just laughed at you.

You stayed as long as you could, exploring every facet of the Ruins. Finally you decided it was time to move on. You had to fight Toriel. The entire fight killed you (literally and figuratively). She killed you about five times, before she finally let you go. You didn't even notice the tears streaming down your face until you left the Ruins. You moved passed Flowey and entered Sans domain. You grew excited. When you finally passed the large branch, you smiled. When you heard it snap, your smile got bigger. Justin looked at you strangely, but you didn't notice.

Through that first encounter you smiled, and laughed at every joke and pun. When you first saw the Papyrus you laughed even harder. Justin was trying hard (not really) to not laugh at you. You were laughing like you were trying not to be heard and failing miserably. Finally you were able to explore and make friends. When you met Sans and Papyrus again you really had a lot of fun. Every puzzle and pun made your face hurt because you were smiling so much.

Later to your surprise (and Justin's irritation?) after your date with the Papyrus, you were able to stay at the brothers house. Again you tried to drag out your stay in Snowdin. You explored every inch, and you even dragged out your date with Sans. It was so much fun. After that the rest of the game went pretty quickly for you. Only lingering on the parts that included sans. Justin's look became darker and darker every time Sans appeared.

When you met Sans at the MTT Resort, Justin nearly flipped when he threatened you. You laughed and reminded him that it was just part of the game. You weren't thrilled with that, but told yourself that if this were real he probably would have told you in a different way.

You got Alphys together with Undyne, befriended Mettaton, freed the amalgamates, then left to confront Asgore. When everyone showed up to stop Asgore your heart soared. That is until Flowey captured everyone. You really struggled fighting Flowey, so much so that you nearly as Justin for help. Then a new option appeared. You grew excited. You could save them. You could save Sans. Justin watched your face light up when you saved the punny skeleton. He knew you always got super involved with in any kind of roleplay, but he couldn't understand your reactions to Sans. More so he didn't like it.

Once they were freed it was already 2am. You were extremely tired, but also happy. Justin invited you to crash in his Room, while he had another go at the game.

"Sure that sounds good. Good luck beating my score.

"Don't worry I will." He said with a wry grin. You didn't trust that grin, but were too tired to think too hard on it. As soon as your head hit the pillow you were asleep.

Important ANnouncement

Hello, everyone~ This is LK here. Or Wayvern. Or Glass. Or whatever name you know me by. I’ve got a LOT of names, wow!

Anyways, I’m here with a very important and kinda sad announcement, so listen closely. Or read closely. Whichever! Anyways, you guys may have noticed my Undertale fanfic Triad hasn’t updated in, like, months. And my Pokemon comic Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Renegade’s Redemption hasn’t updated in, like, a year.

I am simultaneously immensely saddened and greatly enthused to inform you I will be cancelling Triad and continuing PMD:RR. Because Triad has the unfixable flaw of not containing the characters Morpheus the Darkrai and Selene the Cresselia, since it’s not a Pokemon story, while PMDRR IS, so that flaw can be very easily fixed.

I understand that a lot of you will probably be very upset over this! A bunch of you got attracted by just Undertale stuff. Which is a… very intriguing game, I shall indeed admit. For that reason, I will tell you all the things I intended to have happen during Triad, and its sequel, Myriad.

Ready? Here we go.

Where did we leave off? Oh, yes. Waterfall arc.

In the Inner section, some important stuff happens. It’s mooooooooooostly the same as the game? Only, of course, Asriel’s there. Oh, and we find out Asriel can’t actually use his magic anymore. Or, his flame magic. Instead he’s got Friendliness Pellets. Gosh golly gobsmackers, wonder why that could ever be? Asriel and the human decide to skip the Undyne hang-out, too, because they think Lost Souls are creepy. Wow, Azzie, you’re a hypocrite.

Pacifist arc, the human here FINALLY starts showing EMOTIONS thank god they are so stupid to write when they’re pretending to be a tough little stoic. They befriend Monster Kid because they can both empathize over how cool Undyne apparently is. Monster Kid tries helping the human in their fight against Undyne…

Unfortunately, though, they get murdered. This triggers some very important plot development in the human. Very important.

And in the Genocide one, welp, you can guess what happens. Lovely LOVE is accumulated, human continues transformation into ‘apathetic serial killer’, etc do we really need 5000+ words describing it when one sentence will suffice?

Now, Hotland is kinda interesting. We get the point of view of not the humans… But that fabulous flamboyant robot, METTATON. Mainly because 18+ chapters of writing one person’s thought process gets boring. It’s about TIME we switch things up a bit.

Oh, right, and the DENOUEMENT arc! Oh my god you guys had no idea how excited I was for this arc, because the name just perfectly perfectly describes it, it is the ONLY true name! Because you see a Denouement is the final part of a play, movie, or narrative in which the threads of the plot are drawn together and matters are explained or resolved, and also the climax of a chain of events where things are decided or made clear AND ALL THAT HAPPENS IT’S LIKE FATE

ANYWAYS ANYWAYS ANYWAYS get this!!! So for the first one, it’s Genocide boss battle. But I decided that just that is… welp, pretty odd? I mean, Flowey/Asriel is the boss in almost every fight, and then we have… that lazy bones. And yeah, toughest fight in the game yadda yadda, but jeez people we have a THEME here.

So I took some cues from that Possession AU thing and now it’s Sans AND Flowey fighting you. I fixed it!

The next part is, basically, the human in the Genocide run murders Asgore. It’s literally three sentences. I’m not sure why it’s its own chapter. In retrospect, that was a stupid idea.

Then it’s the human in the Pacifist run doing the Asgore fight. And then Photoshop Flowey. But the Pacifist human is an impatient little hypocrite and just murders the Souls and Flowey, because it never occurs to them to call out for help because they’re too prideful.

So we have the reveal for the Inner Timeline here, FINALLY. You people were totally right, Asriel won in the Pacifist Timeline!! Which explains why the friendliness pellets thing, and why the human isn’t the same one as the Pacifist Runner, and why Asriel doesn’t have a-- wait actually it explains nothing. Except maybe the Lost Souls. Huh. But that’s what’s happening so I guess that’s what we’re doing?

So this next chapter is… The entire True Pacifist Route. All of it. Not sure how the human figured it out, but whatever.

Oooooo, the next part things get INTERESTING~ Chara takes Frisk’s Soul-- wait a second who’re these ‘Chara’ and ‘Frisk’ people and why weren’t they mentioned before?

So after that… Photoshop Flowey reveals he is a separate entity from Asriel and OOOOOOOOO Inner Runner and Asriel SOUL MERGE to destroy him once and for all!

And the Inner and Pacifist Routes MERGE and Asriel is back and it’s a happy ending for everyone! And that’s Triad! And Myriad…

...Well, it seems like fluff at first, I trick you all into thinking it’s light and happy.

And then the murders begin…

First is… That heartbreaker Error Sans comes in and murders Sans and kidnaps Frisk. Oh me.  

And then… Fatal Error comes in and kidnaps Asriel and harvests his code and leaves Asriel an empty shell. Oh my.

Toriel and Asgore team up to fend off Error… Only for Cross and Nightmare to drop in and murder them while they’re distracted. Oh dearie.

Undyne and Alphys accidentally summon Ink… They go off to fight Error and Cross and Nightmare…

Only Cross really dislikes Error so they start fighting instead and in the process the very fabric of reality is unraveled in dramatic and gory fashion. All currently in the IAD AU are caught by the destruction. Basically the only two in this fic who escape are Frisk and Fatal.

Frisk wanders around the Antivoid… Oh, yes, and eventually this drives them absolutely insane and they become my new OC, Error Frisk. We see plenty of Error Sans but I have never once seen an Error Frisk, about time we remedy that,

Then we seg into Illiad which is the final fic in that series, and it’s basically a war between Error Frisk and Core Frisk.

Selene: Well, it’s what you do in the Genocide Route for Triad! LK: That’s different. It’s a foregone conclusion that that gets reset. ...Wait a second. Are you jealous?

Selene: :P

LK: Okay, fine. I’ll get working on PMDRR again… Right after I finish Triad. I’ve got a lot of planning to do for Myriad, anyways…

Selene: ...Wait really? You’re not abandoning it?

LK: Heck no. You and Morpheus are my children. And that fic has one of my very few OTPs.

Selene: Eheheheheheheheh~

Long Post - Putting this under a Read More!

Oh man, for one - sorry for this late reply, Anon! I saw this when I logged in earlier to Subeta, but given that you linked a 2 hour long video, I wanted to be able to have some time to watch it properly. First off - thank you for the video link! I’ve seen a few people post gifs and clips from this speedrun, but didn’t know where the video was located / really wanted to watch it, so I really appreciate the link. That’s so helpful!

Luckily, it was in my schedule to sit down and draw / work on my image of Asriel, and I really enjoy watching long streams of videos while working on artwork. Seeing as GT Live’s stream got cancelled today, this worked out perfectly - seriously, thank you. Your timing couldn’t have been better!

Dang - that is so cool that Toby Fox himself donated to this speedrun. I’m also pretty jealous of that Flowey plushie that was one of the prizes. I’d buy one off of Etsy but I’m really hoping they’ll release an official one on Fangamer, you know? That’s amazing they raised over 2 million dollars for fighting cancer though. Wow! It’s so nice to hear that much money is going to a very good cause, and it paints the gaming community in a wonderful light. I love it. I wish I’d been there to donate a little myself!

I knew a lot of the “legitimate” tricks they used in this video (i.e. the tree switch, the stick sparing dogs), but boy all reality breaks loose when they get to Waterfall, wow. I love all of the little time-saving whatnot they’re doing though, like purposely running into attacks or losing to Papyrus. :D As someone who wants to do a speedrun of Undertale some day (albeit one that’s more legit gameplay and less exploits to the max mode), this is really fun to observe all their tactics. This is definitely the kind of thing that one can really appreciate when they have a lot of knowledge of the game. :’)

I didn’t know about the PCE / Punch Card Exploit at all though. Honestly, kudos to you for introducing something to me about Undertale I didn’t already know! This is bloody amazing - I’m definitely going to try that out / try to get good at doing it if I can since it makes such a huge difference in speed / seems like it’d be fun to play around with (even if it can have some huge repercussions if you do it wrong). :’D Thank you so much for telling me about it / this speedrun livestream. It’s fascinating to see how much people pay attention to the values in the coding. And it’s funny from a story-based perspective about a tiny piece of paper holding so much value to the stability of reality itself, haha! Goodness.

Their ongoing joke about Papyrus being difficult is killing me by the way. I can’t believe they didn’t get the re-fuse pun until this stream too, but it’s an example that there’s literally so much to this game. (Also: I checked the wiki and the fact that the Punch Card and the Tough Glove can be used together is another great pun. Toby Fox, what the heck man, what the heck. The amount of thought / jokes / content in this game is just absurd. x’D)

Also, the irony of this video is that, when they got to the Asriel fight, I finished the second layer of shading for my Asriel picture that pretty much marks most of what I needed to do to finish it. :’) Their chanting of “hug the goat” was adorable by the way. 1:28:27 for the Pacifist run! Very nice. Very nice indeed.

Wow. They dodged all the end credits. That’s amazing. I had a feeling they were really good at the actual gameplay (it makes all their “you shoulda dodged that!” in the impossible / scripted scenes way funnier).

Haha, that’s amazing they have a SAVE file for doing Sans’ fight; I was wondering if they were going to do that since Genocide route takes so dang long. I have a file for that too actually, despite not doing/refusing to do Genocide Route. (I also hacked it and gave myself a bunch of Butterscotch Pies since they heal full health. x’] I just use Spare though, which doesn’t really progress the dialogue/battle. I just think playing his battle is fun.) Dang, they almost No-Hit Sans. What a shame they got smacked twice on his final attack though! Seriously, nicely done though.

I watched this whole video from start to finish - it was truly fantastic. Seriously Anon, thank you so much for linking me this video, I was really wanting to check it out. As per usual, I put the item in Undertale’s TC / noticed the coloration of the giftbox you used! Thank you so much for your consideration and everything; I really appreciate it.
