Just saw a take that if you take less than 30 layers on each art that means you aren't that good and I'm looking at my average 9 layers (half of which are usually some tweaking on sketch or previous attempts I didn't like or that these occasions like "hmm... I don't like how it turned out but I will save it in case new attempt will look worse")

This take is such a bullshit honestly. Layers aren't an indicator of how good you are. Art don't have rules (kinda. It's complicated OK???) there's so much different techniques and hating on each other for having different ones is so stupid. Like c'mon
