So how would your OCs fare in a different killing game setting than the game they're a part of, sure the killing game is the killing game no matter what, but a DR 1 style enclosed building is completely different from a DR 2 style sunny and beautiful island. I'm not exactly asking to put them in those specific killing games, just sort of putting them in different vibes.
OOOOOOOOOOOOO INTERESTING and yknow what im realising that i never really disclosed where dr:50 happens either so YIPPEEEEEE I GET TO TALK EVEN MORE !!!
for the 50th season of danganronpa they realllyyyyy wanted to hone in on the nostalgia, which means the location takes a lot of influence from the very first season!!!!!!! the group has been locked inside what THEY assume is some sort of weird boarding school/odd storage unit that has been boarded up to all hell with ZERO sunlight that isnt artificial. similar to thh areas continue to get unlocked as the killing game continues, but overall it is meant to invoke the same claustrophobic atmosphere as the first game, which REALLY influences quite a few of these people lol. not to mention that about halfway through the season (probably late chapter 3/early chapter 4, bc it definitely influences pippy to do what she does lmao) it's revealed they are WAYYYY underground in a survival bunker that has been abandoned and forgotten about (hence why everything is dusty as hell). catastrophe struck and the class is mostly presumed dead down there. also there is a single elevator but they are NOT getting to it unless they kill somebody
HOW THEY WOULD REACT TO A TOTAL SWITCH UP (FROM LEAST INFLUENCED TO MOST)
yoshito: i think regardless of location he would have the same attitude going into it!!! would it be NICE to send that man on an island vacation where he can run around at the beach with his friends? yes. but would it ultimately influence his "i can fix everybody" mentality? likely not
ryobe: similar to yoshito i think this guy gets fucked up regardless of where he's kept lmao!!!!!!!!!!!! the claustrophobia of the bunker ABSOLUTELYYY has some influence, it'll definitely get to ANYBODY after a while, but ryobe is very stubborn in his own escapism that i find it difficult to imagine he acts super differently in a sunny resort lol. he'd definitely be a lot more annoying with a water gun but he would still refuse to acknowledge reality and spiral regardless if he's sunburned or not
mika: i reckon there is a SLIGHTT difference with how she acts here!! not enough to drastically change her character arc, but i honestly think throwing her in a beach would make her a bit more friendly to start off with. when season 50 begins and they all meet each other, she is the FIRST to assume that they are at a hopes peak boarding school, meaning she has already boxed herself in as this ultimate lucky student with no talent in comparison to all of these talented people. a lot of the reason she is so standoffish originally comes from that immediate insecurity. i reckon if they met in a more relaxed setting where ultimate talents arent IMMEDIATELY relevant she'd be a little more open!!! of course there is no denying how they are all ultimates in some way or another but surely they arent here just to work on that right??? its VACATION TIME!!!!!!
erin: DEPENDSSS depends. she's going to act like pippy no matter where she is because like ryobe she is relentless. but that feeling of total claustrophobia in the bunker and complete isolation absolutely lent itself as motive for her. this is a girl whose entire life is dedicated to her work, and the bunker setting REALLY emphasizes just how completely separated from it she is!! it further tells her that HEY, EVERYBODY FORGOT ABOUT YOU IN THERE, and regardless of what her actual motive to kill ended up being that feeling absolutely contributed to the mania that led up to the murder in the first place. rp!pippy is a whole different story BUT HONESTLY it's a pretty good indicator that in a more open/less claustrophobic setting (since the rp took place at a camp, and while it WAS abandoned there was still the SUGGESTION of other people somewhere), plus with some close friends lol, erin could have reasonably survived!! throwing erin in a setting like that OR an sdr2 beach setting could help her quite a bit because it feels much less isolating if that makes sense. looking at the sky at least gives you a bit of hope that somebody else is looking up at the sky also. looking up at a bunker ceiling for weeks is going to make you irrational
rie: same with erin the idea of being completely isolated absolutely contributed to her entire facade crumbling in the later chapters. she misses her dad!!!!! and shes the primary caretaker for him so being locked away from him presumably forever hurts!!!!!!!!!! the bunker makes her feel completely alone and absolutely helpless, and is a big part as to why nobody trusts her in that final trial. trusting rie was IMPORTANTTT too, because if they had listened to her a bit more or even attempted to calm her down enough to get an alibi together they actually might have been able to get through chapter 5 lol, instead all of them had fallen into a rush of mania and exhaustion that led them to distrusting her wayyyy too easily. throw her on a beach and she'll be a litttleeee more chill i think, still VERY upset about her dad but maybe jusssttttttt calm enough to rationally talk things through. the isolation of the bunker is really good at making all of them feel very alone, which is why finding somebody to confide in was a tricky task (and then when she did find somebody to confide in they accused her of murder. lol). the beach might be a better setting at making friends!!!! maybe!!!!!!!!!
billie: the entire location billie was in was a constant and walking reminder of her father LMFAOOO, it was LITERALLY his own creation that she had been constantly testing for him. and BECAUSE she had done that so many times, she was immediately quite standoffish and awkward to the others, just because it felt very repetitive at that point. BUT ALSO i do think a big point of her character during the one and only chapter she survived was that she WANTED to help, mostly because she felt GUILTY. she felt that this simulation going haywire was partially her fault, because she recognized signs of malfunction and didnt run to stop it in time. in another location where she is less familiar of her surroundings and doesn't feel immediate responsibility, i reckon she'd be a lot less helpful LMAO. this is still billie so she is still going to be very easily influenced, but she'd be a lot less inclined to help and honestly might just hide away for a lonnggggg while. she would NOT fall for the note the way she had in the rp, which means lets give it up for wilhelmina "billie" lane for making it past chapter 1 WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sae: GET HER OUT OF THEREEEEEEE SHE NEEDS FRESH AIR SHE NEEDS THE OCEANNNNN. NO MORE CHLORINE-FILLED POOL NO MORE WEIRD HOTEL SMELL AND BLEACH. this resort she is currently in (in the rp!!) is kind of a mix of the bunker setting and the beach setting in that it is still isolated BUT she can at least SEE the outside. she can put her hand out there. its more taunting than anything but it COULD be so much worse
naomi: honestly she might be the most immediately and gravely affected by the location LMAO. this is a girl who is used to have places to RUNNN, and this bunker is allowing her NONE of that. she CAN not run away from these people, and the most she can do is hide, even though the entire cast knows that she is in her room. it is very very easy for her to grow extremely helpless in that location, because so much of her survival instincts is rooted in packing up and leaving!!! setting her in a beach gives her farrrr more freedom, and while that DOES mean we probably wont be seeing her until chapter 2 lmfao she is going to feel a lot more comfortable. it is still a very isolated island dont get me wrong, but it is a HUGE island, and naomi would feel far more inclined to meekly join in with the others now that she knows she has a surefire means of fucking off to the other side of the island should anything go absolutely haywire. HONESTLY would stop her from doing anything too rash. she is still remarkably paranoid but it is slightlyyyy easier to find lucidity on a beautiful island with a lot of open space rather than a dusty old bunker where everybody is cranky and the only enemies that know you are alive are currently trapped underground with you
andi: specifically made for the new waters retreat, would not exist in any other location
THANK YOUUUUUUUU SM AGAIN MWAH MWAH <3

Claustrophobia
TW: mentions and descriptions of child abuse/physical abuse, claustrophobia, and self-harm
I can’t say I remember when it first started, but I know it was not there when I was very young. Back then, I was only afraid of the dark and of moths cuz I thought that they would eat my clothes. But now if you give me an MRI or put me on a crowded train or elevator and you give it a certain yet random amount of time, it’ll happen. The tears start streaming. My breathing gets panicked and I start hyperventilating. My hands hurt from how hard I’m balling up my fists, digging my nails into my palms. And that overwhelming feeling of “You aren’t safe here”.
I’d like to think it stems from my punishments as a child—well, I can’t say I’d like to think it, but I do definitely think so. My mother would hit me with a belt or a broom or a slipper or a slab of wood or an air freshener bottle or her car keys. Really, any object would do. I’m sure if we had a baseball bat in the house she’d have used that too. Glad she stopped when I picked up golf in school. Most people tend to have two responses to being attacked, I would think. Some of us run. Some of us fight. And when you’re only 8, 9, 10, 11 years old and your assailant is a grown woman... well, you better start running. Run up the stairs, run down the stairs. Jump down those stairs if you have to. Go two stairs at a time. Knock things over in the path. Close doors so time has to be taken to open them. Keep thinking on your feet and just run in that house. People often wondered why I was so good at track in middle school—I guess you could say I was always practicing.
But I didn’t just run. I’d hide too. I would hide inside the closest closet. I’d hide under my bed. I even cut out the little fabric on the bottom of the mattress so I could literally hide inside my bed. I tried to practice calming my breathing down from a quick pace to a slow, almost inaudible rate. I’d try to practice holding my breath for as long as possible so she wouldn’t hear me. I’d still be found anyway though, which made things worse as now I couldn’t escape.
And I think that’s what the fear is, really. It’s not a fear, it’s a memory. A memory of balling up and making myself as small as possible as a belt or a broom or a hanger or a stick rained down upon my small body like bombardment attacks do to a war-stricken land. A memory of trying to catch every blow, trying to push away and find the right opening to run and find a new space to hide. A memory of yelling, crying, and screaming in pain and fear as I yelled “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, please stop hitting me!” and “I didn’t mean it please stop it was an accident” and “I didn’t do anything owww” and “Wait wait please please”. A memory of seeing a jeering smile on your brother’s face as he watched you run around trying to avoid this hell on Earth.
I think that’s what it all is anyway—memories. Because when I’m in that MRI machine and the doctor asks me if things are alright and to please try not to move around so much, I can still feel myself trying to defend and block the hits. I can still feel myself wanting to scream and to cry because I tried to hide again even though I knew it wouldn’t work.
She stopped when I was 16, thankfully. I still remember that day vividly. At the time, I had already slowly developed a habit of punching myself in the face or the chest or the stomach—anywhere, really—because I noticed she wouldn’t try to hit me if I did that. But that day, I didn’t do that. I didn’t even run. She swung at me with the broom and I just... caught it. Can you imagine that feeling? Years of running around trying to avoid pain, hiding in places, hitting myself repeatedly but never to the point of bruising. And then one day I just... catch it. I defend myself. She swung at me with the dustpan too in her other hand, and yknow... I caught that too. Effortlessly. It really was surreal to me that all this time I could just do that. She then tried to kick at me to get me to reflexively jump away and let go of the items. But yknow what? I put the broom and dustpan in one hand and just caught her leg. So there we were, her unable to put her foot down or really keep her balance as I had caught everything she came at me with.
I laugh at it now, especially because of what I said. I put her leg down, handed her the broom and dustpan and then said “Go sit down before you hurt yourself”. And I walked away. And she never hit me again. It’s a proud moment because I defended myself. But yet even so. Even though I defended myself. Even though I ensured my safety. Even though it stopped. Even though all of that happened, it just takes one single thing. The MRI. The CT Scan. That crowded elevator. The train car with too many people on it. The streets with lots of people. The hallway with nowhere to walk. The room with walls too small. All it takes is just that small thing and we’re back in the closet. We’re back under our bed. We’re back in the suitcase. We’re back in the bed itself. Back in the small door underneath the stairwell. Back in the boiler room. Back between the fridge and the oven. Back under the kitchen table. Back in all of those places, all of those spaces. That’s all it takes to manifest that memory, that feeling.
It’s funny how the things we fear the most aren’t even fears at all, just things we remember.

Subcon Forest Analysis
Hi everyone I'm here to spill my aggressive overflowing thoughts on Subcon Forest and what it represents because it's been driving me insane since I finished the Sleepy Subcon time rift. Okay let's go. Obvious spoilers for AHIT ahead so proceed with caution.
This is also very, very long.
Disclaimer/warning: I will be discussing abusive/unhealthy relationships in this analysis. I mean. Vanessa. Come on. Also, there is a section on the nooses, and that delves, of course, into mentions of suicide. It will be sectioned off and easily skipped, but if you'd rather be safe and skip the entire post, that's completely understandable! Please stay safe. <3
Alright. Main point to be had here:
Subcon Forest is a giant extended metaphor for Snatcher's mind and character.
You all get to now listen to me spout nonsense about metaphors and symbolism because I'm a sucker for analysis and I'm given an opportunity to go ham. So perish.
The Ice
Let's start with the most obvious and most glaring thing in Subcon. The ice. It's everywhere. Not just outside Vanessa's manor, either; no, it's throughout the village, too. Shows up in the well and in random locations sprinkled about. When it comes to literal plot, we know that ice is just what lingers after Vanessa's wintery curse on Subcon. But going deeper and analyzing the meaning behind it?
Well, let's look at this from the perspective I've suggested. Subcon Forest being an extended metaphor for Snatcher's mind and character. A symbol for Vanessa then litters his mind, enough where it's certainly noticeable at first but blends in more easily once more of Subcon is unlocked to Hat Kid. This is clearly meant to be his lingering trauma, whether or not he wants to acknowledge it. Which he doesn't, as he never mentions it directly in his forest (that I can recall). Her influence plagues him, as to be expected with the traumatic experiences he went through with her. Breaking the ice is something Hat Kid must do in order to fulfill the wishes of the Fire Spirits (another subject I'll get into shortly), which, if self-indulgently playing with the found family idea, could mean that Hat Kid is helping him heal; if indirectly. Even if fulfilling the Fire Spirits' wish to die is... counterproductive, in that measure, which I'm now getting ahead of myself so hold on a sec!!
Vanessa. Ice. Everywhere. Traces of it all over his forest. That's the effects of an abusive relationship! Especially in a worst-case scenario where... yknow! One party in the relationship dies! So of course ice would be everywhere.
In and of itself, ice is a common symbol in literature and other forms of media. In this case, it's presented as an antagonistic force; emphasis is placed upon freezing and the harm that comes with it. The cold is unwelcoming, threatening, merciless. Snow can act as an insulating force, at least, but ice cannot. It can only make things colder.
A slight stretch: Seeing as this game deals a lot with time shenaniganry, I'm not sure if it'd be too out of left field to connect "freezing" with the theme of time. Yknow. Frozen in time. Both parties here, Snatcher and Vanessa, would be in this frozen state. One largely repressing it and never fully moving on, and the other doomed to her isolation ever since the event in question. They never moved past that moment after the Prince and florist's interaction.
The Fire Spirits (& the Portraits)
I'll put a slight warning here for suicidal ideation, if only because... it's the Fire Spirits we're talking about. It's not as grossly in-detail as the noose discussion will be, though, so make of that what you will.
To me, the Fire Spirits are a very interesting case. After all, they're fire. They're a direct contrast to the ice, thus being the only thing we're shown that could potentially melt it. The Fire Spirits, in my opinion, represent hope or a strength to continue. A strength to move on after troubles of the past.
...And that hope wants to die.
The Fire Spirits wish to burn out, to leave this mortal coil and abandon the forest to the cold. They make no effort to melt the ice, they simply dance, blissfully ignorant towards their surroundings. This being a metaphor for Snatcher's own hope for moving on is made all the more obvious by the fact he wants them gone. The first contract is to kill the Fire Spirits, to kill the hope. Perhaps he believes that sort of thing to be fruitless or naïve, so it only clutters his mind or has him foolishly optimistic at points. So, get rid of it. And the hope is happy to oblige.
(That, or their willingness to leave the forest to its own suffering and not aid in the ice's thaw angers him. Besides the whole "bark bark growl I can't get to parts of my forest because of them!!" which... also could represent a naïve hope clouding his judgement, not allowing him to see a bigger picture. But hope can't all be lost if one wants to move forward...)
A little side-tangent now on the portraits! And it's another slight stretch but the idea is in my head and I can't let it go. Portraits are another common symbol, usually being a physical representation of a memory or idea. For our purposes, let's say they're memories. I know in canon they appear to just hold souls captive or something but for now we're just Ignoring That(tm). The Fire Spirits have to burn the portraits to disappear. See where I'm going with this, maybe?
Instead of handling bad memories (or perhaps memories of the past in general) in any healthy manner, Snatcher chooses to forget/repress them, which just allows his hope to progressively die out.
I'm really hoping this is making sense because it makes a lot of sense to me but I might be insane rn
The Fact that this is a Forest
Forest symbolism breakdown! What's a forest usually mean in literature? "Traditionally, the forest has come to represent being lost, exploration and potential danger as well as mystery and 'other worldliness'." Okay. Yeah. Fair enough. That certainly works with the whole aesthetic we've got going on. Wood usually is life, growth and strength. But the trees of subcon are all dead. So what about that? It stands for death, big whoop, very spooky, we know Snatcher's dead and so are the children, yadda yadda wowie wowie. But. :) The trees in Subcon look a lot like trees that were scorched in a forest fire. Don't believe me?
Tumblr media
(You could also argue they're just regular marsh/swamp trees bUT SSHHSUUHSH HANG ON HEAR ME OUT LOOK LOOK,)
What I believe to have happened was a controlled fire to rid the forest of the majority of its ice and snow. Likely done by Snatcher. It leaves behind a very desolate, depressing, barren scene... but. What else do dead/burnt trees symbolize? Rebirth. After all, controlled fires happen to make way for new trees to take the place of old ones. Some trees only drop seeds in fires/hot temperatures, so new ones take root and begin anew. Weird. It's almost like... I dunno. Snatcher was given some sorta second chance, given he's not just a corpse in Vanessa's cellar. So were the subconites. Another life given then by Snatcher. All connected I tell ya!!
Generally, aside from that, forests have many connotations. Mystery, isolation, claustrophobia; a place to dwell on regrets, or the past; to worry over one's future; to seek escape from or escape inside of... hmgmrnmm!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- T / W -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The Nooses
The t/w is given at the top and another cut-off point will follow the bottom of this, for those that would like to skip. This will delve into talk of suicide and abusive tactics used by abusers. Please don't read if it will upset you or make you feel unsafe!!!
Personally, I cannot stand the nooses, but that's just due to my own triggers. Were there a way to hide those from the game or replace the damned talking ones with anything else. I would take it. In a heartbeat. But I can still appreciate the potential analysis to be had with them. So now i'm gonna talk about it despite how uncomfortable it will make me to do so. yEa
So, what about 'em? There are three types of nooses seen in Subcon. At least that I remember but I didn't really go looking for them. Empty ones, ones containing empty subconites, and the talking ones.
Nooses in general obviously can hint towards suicidal thoughts or behaviors of the characters that interact with them. If saying Subcon is Snatcher's mind, it could suggest that he suffered from some sort of suicidal thoughts in life (or currently, if second death is possible... or if he never truly died... or maybe he's trying to figure that out...which has given me... a separate idea...uh oh). But. And hear me out. Different perspective.
A talking noose. I hate them with a fiery passion that is unmatched. But think of the packed symbolism of a noose that talks. And think more about what it says. "I wouldn't mind being strapped around a cute neck like yours." "Be careful now, I don't want to see you meet a miserable end anywhere, but with me." Oddly, a lot of what the noose says seems almost... endearing? One could argue it's a way of luring someone to put it around their necks, which in and of itself is a whole lot to unpack when it comes to suicidal thoughts beckoning one forward; painting itself as something romantic, almost. But. Here's a wild idea, now. What if the nooses, at least the talking ones, are another symbol for Vanessa?
They're tinted blue, after all. While Vanessa's scheme is more red, one could argue two things: One, ice. Blue. Ice. yeah. Or two, the fact that Snatcher's scheme is more purple. Blue and red... make... purple. So, for all we know, Snatcher's current state was a compound effort between suicidal thoughts and Vanessa's treatment of him. Perhaps he even found a way to put himself out of his misery before freezing/starving to death. (I know he has dialogue that argues against that, but... are we certain Snatcher would be the kind to admit suicide over freezing to death?... I don't think so.)
At any rate, a common threat by those in "control" of an abusive relationship is that of killing themselves should the other person not do as they desire. It's a cruel form of emotional manipulation to get their way, worse off if the other party is an empathetic individual. As a person who has been the empathetic individual in relationships like this... I would know. I've been here, unfortunately So, it's not completely out of the question to say Vanessa could've used some tactic like that, even before the whole... cellar ordeal. Did she? I dunno. I'm tossing ideas around. But if she did, the threats of such would sit around in the Prince's mind easily. Even if she has a reputation of not going through with it. It doesn't matter. That shit sticks with you forever, that scare, the potential of it ever being true, is horrifying and it ruins you. I'm projecting, Squirtle.
Still. A noose cannot hang itself. It has to have a victim.
...yea.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- T / W PASSED -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Misc. Ideas
- The spiders: Aside from the usual things spiders can be chalked up to symbolizing - toxicity, alluring danger, just... general pain - I like the potential wordplay that can happen here. Yknow. A black widow. Say the Prince and Vanessa were married when one died. What would that leave Vanessa? A widow. ...She's red and black, too. Yknow. Like a black widow. HA wordplay is fun isn't it?
- Snatcher's tree: Love this place, love sitting in here. But not the point! The inside of Snatcher's tree is such a harsh juxtaposition to the rest of Subcon that it kinda throws ya off guard. After all, the dark, purples and blues then contrasted with the bright warm colors of the inside. Even the music switches over. The thorns outside aren't present indoors. Ohh yeah this is gonna be on the nose as hell but the Tree(tm) is 100% representing Snatcher's appearance/put-on personality vs. his truer nature. Spooky outside with thorns, foreboding, unwelcoming. Then the more comfortable interior. VULnerable. Have I even mentioned that the tree is HOLLOW I mean COME ON. The sturdiness of that tree? Nonexistent. He's not a sturdy guy at all no matter how he fronts
- Intrusions are unwelcome: Snatcher does not like the fact that Hat Kid sticks around in his forest. His personal space. His mind. In fact he tries desperately to get rid of her after their fight, not wanting her presence in his forest at all. He has no problem providing more contracts later on with the Death Wish thing, and he finds great entertainment in messing around with Hat Kid, so it's not just a weird sudden hatred he has for her; it's the fact that. After she's finished being useful, he no longer wants her around, lest she find some things she shouldn't find. Now he's just uncomfortable with her in his personal boundaries. Could just be a denial that she's helped him heal (breaking ice, stealing from Vanessa, being something interesting for his kids to interact with) or just not really wanting a child to get wrapped up in. All that. Most likely the former. Considering the amount of joke-hints he drops regarding his background during his Death Wish dialogue. I see you funny man, making jokes out of your trauma as a coping mechanism. Punts him
Annnd I think that's all I got, for now! I'll make an update post if I get any more sporadic ideas. If you read this whole thing, thank you!! and also!! Wow that was a lot!! Hell world. Please feel free to elaborate on any of my points or debate with me on em!! I'm always open to other ideas, just be aware that if I disagree I am not shy when it comes to debate hehehe, tho I won't be aggressive to any extent I prommy!!
Alrighty. goes to sleep goodnight

Claustrophobia - Isaac Lahey x Witch!Male! Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: slight cussing and mentions of claustrophobia
Both of the boys hadn’t planned on being locked in the detention room that afternoon. Scott had called them there for a pack meeting to discuss a plan on how to bring a rogue kanima down. (y/n) wasn’t exactly a werewolf like the others. He was a witch.
(Y/n) would mostly stay on the sidelines, only assisting if they were injured or if they needed help. He aleady knew Isaac from way before he became a werewolf. They had met in kindergarten during recess when Isaac accidentally kicked a soccer ball towards (y/n), accidentally bonking him in the head.
Isaac felt bad afterwards, apologizing constantly wich annoyed the (y/h/c). In the end, the two found out that they had a lot more in common and have been inseparable ever since. They told each other everything, from Isaac’s dad, to (y/n)‘s family of witches. Wherever one of them was, the other would be there also.
You would never see them without each other, which led to people believing that they were a couple, as Isaac would always have his arm wrapped around (y/n)‘s shoulder. Even (y/n)’s parents were convinced that they were seeing other, as Isaac would be at their house 24/7 (with a notified Melissa McCall so she wouldn’t worry). They didn’t even realize they were being all couple-y like until Scott pointed it out to him.
“So, you and (y/n) dating or what?” Scott has asked in a rather teasing tone.
“What?! No we’re just really close!” Exclaimed Isaac as he was trying to defend himself, while also blushing really hard.
“It’s okay Isaac, I’m sure (y/n) feels the same way about you.” Scott said, trying to reassure Isaac.
“You think so?” Isaac asked, feeling a warm flutter down in his stomach.
“I know so, Isaac. It’s obvious, the glances in between classes, the hand holding? That literally screams “I wanna date you!”” Scott stated, trying to make Isaac confident enough to ask you out.
Meanwhile, at (y/n)’s house, Allison and him were having a sleepover. They were relaxing, playing 80’s music, relaxing, painting nails and whatnot until the topic of Isaac came up.
“So, you and Lahey huh?” Smirked Allison teasingly.
A bright blush spread around (y/n)’s cheeks, reaching all the way to his ears. So what if he had a crush on Isaac? Isaac had aleady been attractive to him, but the muscle he put on during lacrosse made him even more attractive.
“I-It’s nothing. He wouldn’t even look at me like that. He probably sees me as a brother.” Stuttered out (y/n), becoming an even more blushing mess.
“Oh trust me, (y/n) he definitely sees you like that. The heart eyes he makes when you walk into the room is pretty hard not to notice.” Smiled Allison.
(Y/n) blushed even more, if that was possible,at the thought that there was a possibility that Isaac liked him back.
Now, back to present time, some asshole had decided that it was funny to lock them inside. (Y/n) just hoped that the pack would arrive soon and help get them out.
“Guess we’re locked in, huh?” Asked Isaac, pushing the door again for the last time, hoping that somehow it would open. “Yep, hopefully the pack will come and help us soon. It would be easier if I had brought my spell book. We’d be out of here in no time.” Sighed (y/n), sitting on one of the desks.
Isaac followed lead, sitting on the desk right next to (y/n)’s, shaking slightly, hoping the (y/h/c) wouldn’t notice. Of course, (y/n) noticed, seeing as Isaac wasn’t making an attempt at hiding it well. “Isaac, your shaking. Wanna tell me why? Y’know you can always tell me.” (Y/n) said, as he reached over and held isaacs hand gently, feeling the other boys shake start to slow.
Isaac blushed at the gesture, and knowing he’d been caught, he had no other choice but to tell (y/n). “So yknow how when we were kids I would tell you about how my dad treated me? Well, at times he would lock me in a chest freezer, which caused me to develop claustrophobia. And being in this room, it feels like I’m reliving that. I mean, just look, this room is tiny!” Isaac exclaimed, hating that his father made him like this.
Heading this, a soft expression overcame (y/n)’s face, which made him squeeze isaacs hand reassuringly. As (y/n) looked around, he saw Isaac was telling the truth. The room was pretty tiny. “Isaac, I want you to know that you’re safe now. I’m here with you, and I’ll make sure you stay safe. You don’t have to worry about your father now, and don’t put yourself down on words he’s told you before. I know you’re way better than anything he describes you as.” (Y/n) says reassuringly, cupping isaacs cheek in the process.
Isaacs breathing slows as he stares into (y/n)’s eyes. Those beautiful, bright (y/e/c). As if on instinct, Isaac leaned in, and he swore he saw (y/n) leaning in also.
Closer…
Closer…
And closer…
Then, it happened.
There lips had finally touched. Sparks flew as they kissed, their lips melting against each other’s. It was a slow and soft kiss. Not one filled with desperation and lust, but one filled with love and care. Isaac pulls away first, leaving (y/n) a blushing mess. It was awkward at first as they tried not to stare at each other. But then they both started giggling like kids, not knowing what else to do.
Once both of them calmed down, (y/n) was the first to speak. “So… that felt nice.” (Y/n) said softly. Isaac chuckled, feeling confident now that (y/n) had lifted his spirits. “If it was fun, then maybe we should do it again.” Smiled Isaac as he looked at (y/n), who was chuckling.
“Is that your way of saying you wanna kiss me again Lahey?”
“Maybe…”
The two would later find out that it was Stiles who orchestrated the whole plan as he wanted to see if they would finally get together. (Y/n) would try to punch Stiles for making Isaac feel claustrophobic. Isaac would eventually hold (y/n) back while Stiles explained that he had no idea Isaac was claustrophobic.
(Y/n) eventually forgave Stiles and both him and Isaac finally became official, while also becoming one of the schools star couples. (Y/n) also made sure not to miss any of Isaacs games, cheering from the bleachers, which would make Isaac more motivated to win. Hell, they even went on to win prom king & king. All the while Scott and Allison were high-fiving each other fit for not being caught if their involvement with Stiles’ plan.
So that’s it for this fic. It may be cringy, but that’s ok. I’m rusty. But anyway guys that was all. My requests are open so request to your hearts content! I love y’all and thanks for reading!! 💕

what if...what if actor got into yancys head and for whatever reason ""convinced"" (more like possessed) him to kill his parents (maybe abusive maybe not) so there's more intertwining story with y/n & the Real reason yancy doesn't wanna leave prison is cause, even tho he can't rlly recall what happened, blames himself and therefore doesn't feel he deserves freedom/a life...sorrie if these asks r annoying i just never thought of it this way and i Luv theories ☹☹ but it could explain the ~branding~ yancy has for tattoos too
YEAH YEAH omg I forgot to like. Mention that when I brought up actor bc the mind warping shit absolutely could have actor making others do his dirty work kinda thing yknow!! I mean I think it's probably the Entities influence as well but ! But absolutely I think Yancy has a hard time with the whole thinking he doesn't deserve freedom thing! I read this post abt how like. He considers the prison his home not only bc its probably all he's known for like what. Atleast 10 yrs?? But also bc he feels like he deserves to be there bc of what he did!! Like ....there has to be some deep desire to be free really,if he knows how to get out of the prison THAT well. Too!! The way he's helped others get out, like he's living vicariously through helping others leave! Especially with y/n! And when you get to the gate and he seriously seems to consider it for a moment... "Me? Out There? With You?" Like he's never even considered that maybe he deserves happiness! That he could be free! And then backtracking on that like "No...this is home." Like he has to convince himself to stay even if he does wanna go! Convincing himself he needs to STAY and pay for what happened to his parents yknow? It hurts more esp if he doesn't even remember what happened completely. Anothet thing too is that I dont think he's some cold hearted killer honestly I dont!! He has such a passion in him,and he loves his prison family! He obviously thinks highly of the people there. And he tries to take the blame for the fight that happened between y/n and him and it ends up with him in solitary [nother hc I have is that if he ever gets out of prison is that he hates being alone/solitary spaces like that. Like a claustrophobia/abandonment thing yknow?] Hes also basically a greaser and greasers can be pretty emotional 🤍plus, with the whole family thing he does say "I too,was once a familial type" while choked up like MAN. I don't care what he did! Or what he thinks he did or what he may've been forced to do!
Also pleaseeee don't apologize for these asks they make me so happy I love talking abt theories and especially when it comes to Yancy bc he just makes me 🥺❗ yknow?
Also the branding thing..ouchie :[[

1 2 9 14 24 30 33 42 49 wulf !
01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?
from google: “Wulfric or Wolfric is an Anglo-Saxon masculine given name, composed of the elements wulf "wolf" and ric "rich, powerful".”
i kinda just picked it cuz i liked how it sounded 😳😳😳 i actually had three names in mind: ulrich, wolfgang and wulfric and obviously wulfric won out of the three.
02. What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness?
answered here!
09. Do they have a favorite season? What about a favorite holiday?
answered here!
14. Do they live alone or with family? How do they feel about their family/roommates?
originally he lives with his family, but bc they arent SUPER important to any storyline i dont even like. have names fr em. he likes em but with most player-spawn relationships its really just a “im going to raise u to learn basic survival skills and then send u off on ur own” except wulf’s parents werent rly good in the ‘teaching basic survival skills’ aspect sometimes
he lives alone from the time he gets to the jungle to when his treehouse is destroyed. after that he lives with lukas until he gets his own place, and then once again he’s on his own once his house is built.
post-s2, aiden moves in with him since theyre like. yknow. dating and stuff. and at first its kinda rough but yknow they both kinda chill out just a little bit. and then blake comes along so now theres a Real Baby in the house
24. In their own words, how would your character describe what their lover is like?
“he’s kind of a dick, and sometimes i can’t stand him. and his breath smells like rotten flesh. but i mean he’s okay sometimes?”
30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?
he likes live plays and theatre. he would enjoy music more if he wasn’t completely tone-deaf :(
33. If your character wanted to be alone, where would they go?
it takes literally an entire day to go to the city from his treehouse in the jungle. if he wanted to be alone he could literally just go home.
42. Is there anything in your character’s past that they regret, haunts them, or they wish they could change?
normal zeroverse, nothing really. but post-order up in the order up au / baan he definitely regrets goin a little cray-zay x
49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?
kind of answered already but most of his nightmares revolve around his severe claustrophobia, however they arent really that common / frequent so he doesnt have to deal w em a lot. he does tend to be a bit bitchy during the day tho he if he had a nightmare the previous night

another bullshit meme
from sidebloggable
answered for logan and lucius bc i dont talk about my big dumb idiot enough
and im actually gonna answer for their original Fable timeline bc ive been feelin nostalgic recently
Their physical weak spots
Logan - depends on his age and/or stress-levels. He has a fair amount of upper body strength from swinging twin swords around all the fucking time, but it wouldn’t be ridiculously hard to overpower him if you could disarm and get hold of him - however, he’s fast, agile and extremely skilled, and it’s getting hold of him in the first place that’s the issue. In the middle of his reign, on the other hand, his body condition takes a dramatic dive - he’s pretty severely underweight and loses a lot of his muscle tone, and it really wouldn’t take much at all to best him.
Lucius - Lucius is a big, heavy mercenary who fights with a broadsword, so it’s hard to get the best of him in a one-to-one melee fight. However, he’s missing his left eye and is deaf in his left ear - subsequently if you use a little bit of stealth and come at him hard and fast from the left, you’ve got a pretty good chance of getting the jump on him. He’s also into middle-age and despite having decent reactions, a younger man of the same build as him might just pip him to the post.
Their emotional/moral weak spots
Logan - oh god lmao. Logan’s a mess, but his primary emotional weak spot is his siblings - be they his original two (hey queenie and dorian) or Morgan. I think he feels a bond that’s closer to paternal than fraternal, and I think the only way he can really justify to himself the pain he puts them through is telling himself he’s doing it for them. ok honestly, he will do fucking anything for them. at the climax of the revolution, the primary thought running through his head is how fucking proud he is. be nice if he said it out loud every once a while - hell, itd be nice if he’d just asked for some fuckin help before causing the literal death of hundreds of people - but yknow. thats just going one step too far i guess
Lucius - he’s a bleeding heart. when Morgan and his little band of rebels rock up in the Dweller village, Lucius is already there running supplies up and down the mountain to them; he watches way too many kids starve to death, and joins up with the rebels in order to lead them through Mourningwood. then he gets a crush on morgan’s little bitch face and just like. never leaves lmao. He’s easily blinded by injustice and gets worked up really quickly when he sees wrong being done - it can lead him to act recklessly or thoughtlessly at times.
Scars or painful spots
Logan - asides from the obvious scars across his lips (fencing wounds when he was a boy), he took some nasty damage from the Crawler during the three days he was trapped in the Auroran cave - he’s got a network of scars on his back that look a little like lashmarks. they hurt when they’re touched and he Does Not talk about them. he’s also got a few other scars here and there on his arms and chest from miscellaneous scraps and scuffles, and he has a deep puncture scar on his abdomen from an assassination attempt, but the less said about those the better.
Lucius - lmao Lucius is literally missing half his face to scar-tissue. he was attacked by a dog as a boy and it left him heavily messed-up. he’s also a merc, as i said, so he’s got a lot of miscellaneous old wounds but nothing quite as obvious as the ones his face.
Best places to kiss on their body
Logan - oh, the neck, bitch. he’s also kind of a slut for being kissed on the insides of his wrists; anywhere vulnerable, basically. if you could kill him there, kiss him there. freak-ass bitch.
Lucius - dude just likes a nice traditional french kiss man nothing crazy. but also definitely give him a blowjob. i know this question said kissing but lets be real thats kind of a kiss.
Guilty pleasures
Logan - he reads really terrible novels. like…really terrible. he pretends he’s reading something highbrow and intellectual but its actually a shitty romance recovered with something suitably acceptable and nobody can know
Lucius - he doesnt have any ‘guilty’ pleasures tbh, he just enjoys stuff unashamedly. he’s too thick to feel guilty
Their vices (physical or emotional)
Logan - lets be real, he’s probably done, like. an impressive amount of coke. i guess the terrible sleeping and eating habits are probably also a vice but like. it’s mainly the coke
Lucius - he smokes like a fuckin chimney
Their tickle spots
Logan - not only does he not have any, but you would also die for trying. Elrick disagrees.
Lucius - his ribs, but he is uncontrollably violent when he’s tickled so its a real good way to get a broken nose. he doesn’t mean to do it, he just spasms.
Bad memories/experiences
Logan - lmao. I’ll skip the most obvious (the 3-Day Auroran Extravaganza) because i think that goes without saying - it left him with crippling PTSD and damaged his mind heavily and insidiously. he was already pretty traumatised by his childhood and i think being forced into so many responsibilities so young also messed him up a little. it’s more like….rather one one or two specific experiences, its more just a general feeling of Bad that has stuck with him throughout his life. It was worsened by his later experiences, and essentially primed him for failure.
Lucius - yknow i was thinking about how to word the answer to this question and i realised that i accidentally made Lucius into Batman. His family farm was attacked and burnt to the ground by bandits when he was about 12; his parents and siblings were killed, and he only escaped by hiding in the coal-cellar. Later, he joined up with the mercenaries to try and track down the group that targeted them. fuck hes batman. i didnt mean to batman
Humiliating memories
Logan - oh man his father was a pro at humiliation. mistakes or oversights werent just punished, they were fuckin learned from, and he figured the best way to do this was humiliation - generally through public displays of What You Did Wrong and repeated recitations of the mistake in front of the people whose opinions Logan valued. It was kind of the catalyst for his inferiority complex and intense desire to succeed without input from others.
Lucius - again, Lucius doesn’t really experience embarrassment - he’s kind of too laid-back for it. yes, it was embarrassing the one time he fell over carrying two milk buckets and threw them all over himself in front of the handsome boy from the next farm over and the guy started laughing at him but like. you live and learn and the dude turned out to have a really ugly laugh anyway so who cares
Fears/phobias
Logan - he’s always had claustrophobia, but after the Auroran Experience this intensifies to a whole new level, and he also develops crippling nyctophobia. part of this is due to his hallucinatory psychosis - he sees things pretty much constantly, but it worsens in low lighting - but it’s also due to the fact that there may very well be actual Things in the dark and he struggles to tell reality from hallucination
Lucius - dogs. fuckin dogs. he hates dogs theyre literally so scary even the small ones bc the small ones move so quick and you never know when theyre gonna come at you
Bad or petty habits
Logan - oh, he’s just a petty bitch. he’s also outwardly arrogant, even if his internal feelings don’t match up to that. drily sarcastic, too, tho a person only really sees that when they get past the walls he throws up - Elrick is very familiar with it.
Lucius - he’s constantly standing to the right-hand side of people and then he wonders why he cant hear them properly
Grudges and vendettas
Logan - he’d hold a grudge against his father if he wasnt dead. he also holds a pretty heavy grudge against Theresa for not just fucking telling him.
Lucius - at first, only against the bandits that killed his family, but once he deals with them hes kind of at a loss as to where to go next. fortunately Logan starts starving people shortly afterwards, so if nothing else it gives him a kickstart into the rest of his life. Subsequently, Lucius will hold a vendetta against Logan for the rest of his life, even after he has been in a relationship with Morgan for years - he will never forgive him for the shit he put the common people through, and he doesnt really give a shit about the ~pressures~ Logan was under at the time. fuckin excuses, man.
Ingrained habits/forces of habit
Logan - his terrible sleeping/eating patterns. even before trauma and night-terrors made it almost impossible for him to sleep peacefully, he didn’t get more than 5 or 6 hours a night, if that.
Lucius - if something is smaller than him, he’ll protect it. he’ll also protect things bigger than him, if given half the chance. hes basically a golden retriever in human form, which is ironic considering his feelings about dogs.
What it takes to make them cry
Logan - would rather die than cry, quite literally.
Lucius - his heart is softer than butter, he’ll cry at anything. he’ll cry at an injured pigeon on the street.
Dark secrets/’skeletons in the closet’
Logan - never, ever, ever talks about what happened in Aurora. The details die with him.
Lucius - he doesn’t really have any - he’s not ashamed of much in his life, and he’s never done anything terrible enough to render it a skeleton.
People they’ve hurt or indirectly killed, and how it affected them
Logan - L M A O. yes, it affected him terribly, but tbqh however much its affected him kind of plays second fiddle to how much his actions affected other people.
Lucius - has killed a lot of people who deserved it during his mercenary years, and justifies it to himself by being absolutely certain that they did deserve it. sometimes he doubts this, though, and that doubt plays a big part in his eventually getting out of the game entirely
People who’ve influenced them greatly
Logan - Walter, tho he’ll never admit it in a million years and he still definitely kneecapped him right at the start of the game so idk what that says about him
Lucius - Morgan. it’s real gay, i know, but there it is.
