Feeling absolutely gutted tonight

I had a collection of animations that took hours of my time to make that I was working on for a video that I started working on back in 2021, and after a move and a computer meltdown, I found out tonight when I finally went back to work on them again that all of the files on the Drawfee folder on my personal laptop with names starting before the letter "D" were deleted.

Gone.

Poof.

I have no idea how that happened but it sucks so fuckin much. I was really looking forward to picking it up again and now I'm fighting for my life trying to find the will to even start all over again

Irl tagged me in a Disney ai 'art' post -_- shes not very clever so telling her would be like trying to get blood out of a stone, and it wasn't even related to why she tagged me, and even if I wanted to, i can't be bothered because I just want to sleep and enjoy tomorrow. I'm not going to accept any guilttripping either

Ugh! Gonna have to replace my phone tomorrow. I have a flip & the hinge went all wonky & now my screen is trying to disconnect. Figures crossed that this time I won’t lose any photos or anything. I’m gonna be super pissed if I have to re-find everything again.
