i'll try my best!!! idk if it'll make much sense tho
but basically, bakugou and deku respectively are characters who's actions, words, and emotions adominated by a strong and central set of core beliefs that they rarely stray from. the both of them are very different in how these beliefs come to be, but on the surface they function the same. they share a single-minded focus, and are driven so absolutely by these beliefs that it inspires their hero classmates to follow in their shoes. in short, they're characters who while on the surface seem very different, are similar in this one specific way.
what's important to know also is how these systems are developed over time. deku as a character is driven primarily by his martyrdom. it's one of his failings as much as it's one of his strengths, but arguably his inability to fault the hero system means he is loyal to it through every single incident because to shake that would make his entire belief system crumble in and of itself. the deku / allmight and endeavor bakugou parallell is a very obvious one but truly and most of all - both deku and allmight are incapable of understanding how the hero system has damaged the world in maybe equal or less parts than it has saved it. but dekus is ultimately because of a sense of fondness for hero society he is unable to process in himself.
bakugou is a character who builds his belief system on the absolute efficiency. many of his emotional failings and inability to be vulnerable he only accepts because he is able to justify and intellectualize his emotions in how they will aid his journey in becoming number one. his pragmaticism isn't from nowhere. rather he's a character who's so perceptive and rational that aside from his emotions, he can use evidence and observation to cement his own beliefs. he is wildly disinterested in ethics or ethical behavior in a way that comes off comedic and believes his own dogma to be absolute - only accepting the beliefs of others if they prove strong, reliable, trustworthy etc.,
in short, both of these characters are extremely able to justify whatever actions necessary to reach their achieved end. much of their arcs respectively is learning to not do that and see outside of their bubble.
in the case of love, both of them are intensely bad at understanding their own emotions (but bakugou much less so) that i don't doubt that love in all forms is able to corrupt them completely. because the unfamiliarity vulnerability of love, the tender intoxicating warmth of that would probably destroy the defenses they've built for a long time. neither of them cope well with emotions and how those emotions absolutely dominate their will at times.
both of them would immediately jump to justify themselves in that case. it's not that they won't know. it's that that their devotion to the cause is blinding, and if you are to become a part of their personal cause, i find it hard to imagine that the wouldn't justify their every move to save or protect you.
the only difference being that bakugou knows it's selfish and doesn't care - he will rationalize and tell people what they need to hear. he'll lie if he has to.
but deku will convince himself that it's for some greater good and truly believe that because he's incapable of understanding his own desires. both of them are just sort of like that

You’d said goodbye to him and said that you hoped he thought about what had transpired today, your heart aching a little bit that you couldn’t be any more help to him.
You’d seen the three boys Megumi had got into a fight with, too. They had not gotten off so scot-free – they were bleeding noses, scraped cheeks, bruised eyes. At the very least, you don’t think any of them will get on Megumi’s wrong side again.
Gojo has to meet with all three of their parents tonight to give them the full story of why their children are so roughed up and what’s being done about it; a position that’s been doled out to him, you’re sure, because Principal Masamichi blames him for the incident and is punishing him. You can’t deny that seeing Gojo actually get punished for something is nice, but--
“Won’t they be mad to see me instead of you?” You ask him, biting your lip. “I mean . . . you’re his teacher. I’m just your aid.”

She’ll nod at you and say mournfully that she’ll talk to him and you’ll give her the paperwork, and that’s all – job done! He shrugs.

Tsumiki’s his older sister – she’s twenty one, and she’s been more of a parent to him than it seems like his dad has.”

He groans and the hand still clinging to your thigh is suddenly pressing so hard you think he’ll snap your bone, ragged breath;
“Fu—fuuuck, sweetheart, you’re gonna take it all, that’s right, good girl--” in between belaboured, ragged pumps, his cock twitching as he manages to pull out at the last moment and his release spills all over your thighs, luridly glistening wet in the overhead fluorescent lights.

He’s not the kind of man who waits around. You’re lucky he’s so tall, or you’d probably barely have seen him in front of the door frame (you didn’t even lock the door, anyone could have walked in at any time! You don’t even want to know what Gojo would say if he’d walked in to his aid being fucked like a slut across his desk).
“W-wait,” you say, weakly, still sprawled over the desk with his come cooling on your thighs. You manage to prop yourself up on your elbows, but your entire body feels like it’s just taken a battering. He takes a look back at you from the door, dragging a big hand through his hair, his crooked grin still on his face. You look so pretty like that – all fucked out and messy, the shine taken off of you. “T-the paperwork--”
You’re not sure where said paperwork is. Underneath you, maybe? You hope it didn’t get soaked.
“Told ya’,” he says, dismissively. “I’m just gonna throw it in the trash. Thanks for the fun, sweetheart. See y’around, huh? I should do stuff for the kid’s academic career more often.”
The door slams shut behind him.

Ayo anyone wanna see my essay on why removing Anybody Have A Map made the Dear Evan Hansen movie worse? It is slightly long
Disclaimer: I did like the movie (I cried three times), but I think they made some stupid decisions with it.
Dear Evan Hansen movie + musical spoilers under the cut, plus a fair amount of DEH neg/crit
Instead of Anybody Have A Map, they just have Evan's mom say "Hey are you writing those letters to yourself? Also you should ask the kids to sign your cast" before he goes to school and sings Waving Through A Window. They ignore every other part of the song and quickly insert the only thing from the song that's absolutely needed to understand the story so Evan can go be angsty at school. We don't even meet the Murphys until they meet Evan in the principal's office to tell him about Connor.
Disclaimer part 2 electric boogaloo: I complain about Evan a lot here. It's not because I think his experiences aren't valid and it's not because I'm trying to demonize people with mental illnesses or something. I know that his own struggles influenced his bad decisions. That doesn't mean they weren't bad decisions. He still did shitty things and he wasn't justified (listen to Words Fail), but I know it was influenced by his mental health.
On with the complaining!
First of all, the movie opens with Waving Through A Window? It feels like they're putting the most popular song first as a desperate grab for your attention to convince you the movie is good and like... they really didn't need to do that. Waving Through A Window is right after Anybody Have A Map, it's not like anyone's gonna walk out of the theatre after one (really good) song.
Anybody Have A Map establishes a few things: it shows us that both of these families are struggling so that we know immediately that the Murphys' perfect facade is fake, it shows us that Connor was a dick to his family (this is very important), and obviously it tells us why Evan was writing letters to himself. It also introduces us to the two main families at the same time so we know this story isn't just about Evan.
By starting the movie with an Evan solo song instead of the group song, they frame Evan as the one main character, the only person whose perspective we need to understand. But Evan is incredibly flawed, just like everyone else, and by making us think the story is only about him, it immediately makes us (the audience) more inclined to believe that Evan is always in the right and less inclined to consider everyone else's side of the story. Evan is an incredibly unreliable narrator, he's always going to frame his actions as correct, or at least excusable, even when he's actively hurting/lying to other people.
All of the Murphys get introduced through interacting with Evan instead of interacting with each other. This makes it seem like the Murphys only exist for Evan, but the entire point of the climax is that everything doesn't exist just for Evan! Evan is not part of their family, he can't just use everyone around him for his own benefit, and all of the Murphys have lives outside of him. When they're introduced through Evan, they're introduced as existing for Evan. Anybody Have A Map introduces them separately from Evan instead of attached to him.
Without Anybody Have A Map, we never actually see Connor being mean to Zoe, so she just looks like an asshole for not being sad about her dead brother. To make up for it, she's constantly having to tell the audience why she hated him, tripping over herself to talk about all the shitty things he did to her because we don't have Anybody Have A Map to show us their interactions. Zoe ends up complaining about her brother the entire time, so when it gets to Only Us and she says that she doesn't want everything to be about her brother, it seems out of character for her.
And with the removal of Anybody Have A Map, we don't ever see Connor interact with his own family in the movie. Anybody Have A Map is the only time we get to see Connor with his family. It shows us that Connor really was an asshole to his family, it justifies Zoe hating him, and it gives his mom more dimensions by showing her struggling to keep her family together even with everyone fighting against her. Without that, the writers ended up ignoring the most basic piece of writing advice - "show, don't tell" - to fill in the missing information from the song.
In the movie, all we get of Cynthia Murphy is... her being sad about Connor and refusing to admit that he ever did anything wrong. She's just boring and annoying in the movie, but in the musical, we get that bit at the beginning that shows her as an actual person with actual motivations! By cutting Anybody Have A Map, they made her into a more one-dimensional character.
So in a bit of a conclusion: Anybody Have A Map establishes the Murphys as main characters separate from Evan and shows us Connor's relationship with his family instead of telling us about it. It sets the scene for the story before just jumping into "Evan is sad and alone uwu anxious depressed soft boy" and makes everyone a better, more three-dimensional character. Getting rid of it meant that they had to do backflips to justify everyone's decisions during the movie instead of setting everything up at the beginning.
I do think the movie could've benefitted from Disappear but then again, it could've benefitted from the whole "Connor being the visual/vocal representation of Evan's justifications for why keeping up the lie is helping people" thing in general, but they got rid of that so Disappear wouldn't have worked. (I am salty that they got rid of that thing but whatever) The Anonymous Ones worked instead and it was a good song, so sure, why not I guess? /neutral
I could also complain about how they got rid of To Break In A Glove, Disappear, and Good For You, but none of those decisions actually impacted the story too much. To Break In A Glove and Good For You both got replaced with some tell-not-show cutscenes that gave us the same information in a less interesting way (and Larry got less character development without To Break In A Glove), and Disappear got replaced with an Alana song which was honestly pretty good so i'm fine with that one.
Now for some good changes that the movie made!
The Anonymous Ones was a good song, I actually really liked that. I'm disappointed that they got rid of Disappear, but they replaced it with another song that served the same purpose while also giving Alana more screen time and character depth! And it was a genuinely good song, I really enjoyed it and it made me like Alana more!
I really liked the ending of the movie. In the musical, there are literally no negative consequences for Evan, Zoe even forgives him at the end. She fucking forgives him for lying to her entire family about their dead son and and taking advantage of them because it "brought them closer together". And the internet never finds out what he did! He does all this terrible shit, lies to the entire fucking world, and gets away scot-free. And he never learns anything real about Connor. The movie changes all of that.
Connor's song was also a great addition! Every time we saw Connor in the musical, he was either being a dick or he was a fantasy version of himself made by Evan and/or Jared. Seeing that Connor can, in fact, be a nice person, that Cynthia's belief in him wasn't misplaced, was so satisfying. He really was just a meaner version of Evan a troubled kid lashing out at the world in self-defense. He wasn't an entirely bad person.
The Murphys still decide not to tell anyone what he did, but then Evan decides (on his own!) that he needs to own up to what he did. He records a video of himself admitting to what he did, shifts all the blame to himself, and then goes out of his way to fix his mistakes in any way he can. He says that his biggest regret is not getting to know Connor while he had the chance, so he goes online to find anything he can. He reads Connor's favorite books, tries to find anyone who might be able to tell him what Connor was like, and when he receives a video of Connor playing his song in rehab, he takes the time to send the video (through the mail, on a flash drive) to the Murphys, Jared, and Alana.
Evan doesn't contact Zoe at the end, she contacts him instead. She doesn't forgive him, and he doesn't ask for forgiveness. He knows what he did was wrong and he owns up to it and tries to fix it as much as possible, knowing full well that it could ruin his life. He does the right thing for the first time in the entire fucking movie (that's hardly even an exaggeration) and it's such a good ending. It makes more sense and is more satisfying than the musical.
The Dear Evan Hansen movie was not nearly as bad as the reviews say it was. It wasn't as good as the musical, it had its own problems, but it also made some good changes that I think made the story better. It wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it and most movies aren't perfect anyway. It really could've benefitted from Anybody Have A Map, though.

We at least know that Luka now appears in a later episode, but this could easily be worded as “Luka can be retconned away from being Marinette’s love interest and everyone will act like he and Marinette aren’t that close or never made soft eyes at each other.”
Except I wouldn’t count on Lukanette being retconned because that would stop the show from being allowed to make Marinette feel bad and guilty and possibly cause another akuma over it, plus possibly Luka “rejecting” his feelings for her and thus making her feel worse that he sees her in a lesser light.

Suddenly Dodge and the keys and the damn Omega door were all too real. 
Tyler’s chest tightened around his chest as he saw Dodge’s echo taunting him through his dad’s old painting of the Well House. “Where do you think she took him?” Kinsey asked pacing around the drawing room. “Tyler!” She shouted, Tyler’s head shot up,
“Maybe she used the Head Key,” he said justifying what they saw. “Maybe she turned someone else into Bode and he’s still safe at school.” Kinsey shook her head then said,
“It’s still in my sock drawer. There’s no way Bode would give it to her willingly.” Tyler turned to look at her,
“Are you sure it’s still in there?” Kinsey hesitated, then made a beeline for her room. Tyler followed, taking two steps at a time. “Kinsey?” He asked as he reached the doorway. His sister dug through her sock drawer, inevitably taking the entire thing out and dumping the contents onto her floor.
“No,” she muttered frantically tearing apart pairs of socks. “No, no, no, no!” She shouted, Tyler knelt behind her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Kinsey turned and sobbed into his chest, he wrapped his arms around her tighter. “How did we let this happen?” Shaking his head he said,
“This isn’t our fault is it? Dodge did this, she’s a demon that’s what they do right? Kidnap helpless little boys?” Kinsey wiped the tears from her face then said,
“Bode isn’t helpless Tyler.” The eldest Locke sibling then began to pace around the room. “We need to find him.” Kinsey said plainly, then she threw his arm off her shoulders.
“Where the hell are you going?” He asked as she walked out of the room. Kinsey went straight to Bode’s room then dug through the trash until she found what she was looking for.
“The page on Key House, Bode kept saying he saw her in the ink, right?” His sister asked, Tyler nodded then peered over her shoulder. “Well maybe she’s still in the ink. Trapped, like she was in the Well House.” Once the paper laid flat on her desk they waited anxiously. Tyler shook his head, running a hand through his hair.
“I’m calling it, somehow trapped Dodge got out.” He said after the paper was unmoving for a good half-hour. “Maybe we should call the cops,” Tyler suggested pulling out his phone. Kinsey snatched it out of his hand,
“Tyler what would we say?” She asked him, holding the phone just out of his reach. “That our brother was kidnapped by an insane woman who likes to rape and kill kids?” Tyler froze,
“She wouldn’t do that to him.” Kinsey looked at him sadly, “I’m fine Kins, right now we need to focus on Bode. Maybe the Savini Squad can help, they already know about the keys.” He said taking his phone back from her. She sighed,
“So far Scot’s the only one who'll be willingly seen with me in the hallways… and Gabe… something just feels off about him right now.” Tyler thought for a moment then said,
“Okay so what do we know?” Using pins from the desk, he began to hang things on the wall in regards to the kidnapping. “He made it to school right? The secretary said his teacher marked him for attendance.” Kinsey nodded,
“We should start there, to see if Dodge got caught on any of the security cameras.” Tyler agreed then snatched his car keys from their hook and he and Kinsey started the short drive to Bode’s school. Tyler kept his eyes on the road, trying not to let his mind wander, trying to not think of the hell Bode’s bound to be going through right now. “Tyler the turn!” Kinsey shouted jolting him from his thoughts, he jerked the steering wheel taking an unnecessarily tight turn into the elementary school’s parking lot.
“Excuse me… Mark,” Kinsey said flirting horribly at the student intern sitting at the desk. Tyler had to resist the urge to cringe. “But could you possibly tell me where Bode Locke is right now?” The kid didn’t even bother to ask if they were relatives, he just started typing away at his keyboard. With his headphones still in his ears the Mark muttered,
“Freaky family, let me check. Looks like he was excused earlier, an aunt picked him up or something.” Tyler and Kinsey exchanged a look before leaving the student alone at his desk.
“Where would Dodge take Bode?” Tyler wondered out loud as he started the car again. “I mean where would she be able to be completely alone with him?” A look of realization crossed Kinsey’s face as they pulled into their driveway.
“Come on!” She shouted, jumping from the car before Tyler could even put it into park. “I can’t believe we didn’t think of this before.” Tyler managed to keep track of where she was going, following her path through the snowy forest. After a few minutes of blindly following Kinsey they ended up on the edge of the cliffs. Tyler sucked in a breath,
“You really think they’re down here?” He asked her, he half-hoped they wouldn’t have to go down there again. Kinsey nodded then started the rocky path down to the caves. Tyler followed in tow, trying to ready himself for whatever Dodge had ready for them.
“Give me the key!” Dodge’s voice echoed throughout the caves. Tyler hesitated, then nodded to Kinsey and the two of them stepped into the cavern Dodge held their brother captive in. The villain turned as Bode’s eyes filled with hope. Tyler couldn’t help but wince in sympathy, his brother was shackled to the ground, a few bruises on his face was evidence Dodge had hit him.
“Let him go.” Kinsey said, fearless as always. “Now Dodge,” she said, if looks could kill their adversary would be a melted puddle of goo. Tyler decided to stay silent, not trusting he would say anything helpful. The demon cackled,
“And why, pray tell, would I be afraid of you?” She asked, Tyler saw something move out of the corner of his eye, and Fear Kinsey attacked Dodge. With their threat distracted, Tyler rushed forward and undid Bode’s bonds. His baby brother immediately jumped up and felt around his neck, then took out the key he kept on a chain around his neck. Bode gripped it tight enough to turn his knuckles white, behind them Dodge cursed at them as she was forced to flee.
“Kinsey,” Tyler said when her sister seemed to be fixated by her Fear. His sister snapped out of whatever trance she was in, then knelt next to them and wrapped her arms around Bode. Tyler whispered comforting words of,
“It’s okay,” and, “she can’t hurt you anymore.” Bode shook as tears streamed down his face, he latched himself around Tyler’s neck. In response, Tyler picked him up and took the long walk back to Key House, Kinsey right at his heels.
Once they were safe in Key House, Tyler and Kinsey refused to let Bode out of their sight. Bode himself, claimed they were being overprotective, but they just wanted their little brother to be safe.
