I'm only gonna go over Greg in relation to the other two because Gregory alone I talk about headcanons for a lot, and he's included in the post about the 3 star fam headcanons. So yeah

I just made a separate post for my sorta headcanons for GGY specifically, which you can find here.

Greg was a really good friend before being glitchtrapped. He was during it, too, but that was Rab playing an act. He's a super sweet kid, despite everything

Greg would give Tony his own pocket money sometimes. "I get a lot of it, and you need it more than me." Tony didn't like to accept it, but Gregory is a persistent person.

Greg would always help Ellis with the arcades he wasn't very good at. "I learned this strat, actually...."

Gregory would get them both snacks and sneak them under the desks in class, the trio eating them when the teacher wasn't watching. This was especially the case if Ellis seemed less hyper in class or Tony was particularly quiet.

Gregory was extremely helpful and kind with Tony when his dad got locked up. He was there for him. Ellis is better at lightening the mood, but Gregory is good at real comfort and supportive words

They're all there for each other. Gregory fights when people pick on his friends, which is rare-ish-- they don't really get bullied-- but it still happens, and Greg gets hurt. He gets anxious. But then Ellis and Tony are there. Tony's awful attempts at comfort make Gregory laugh, while Ellis is naturally good at making people smile

The trio balances each other out perfectly, and it makes things easier in school! Sometimes, Tony needs to lighten up and see the bigger picture. Sometimes, Gregory needs to relax and take things slower. Sometimes, Ellis needs to be brought back to earth a little.

Ellis has a pretty normal life. He doesn't have any particular bad shit going on, only the losing his two besties thing in the case of canon. His home life is okay, though; he has a caring mother and a little sister he enjoys taking care of, despite her attitude sometimes-- It's small, and it's nice. His dad is usually away at work, but he finds time for his family.

Ellis has as much monty merch as he can possibly get, but he insists on winning it himself at the Plex instead of just finding it on amazon or whatever.

Tony's secret opinion on Ellis would be so heartbreaking for him. Ellis would be devastated to find Tony doesn't like his silly side. It'd drive him away, "Wow, man. Okay. I'll find new friends, you can have Greg all to yourself. Enjoy it."

If Gregory knew about it, he would side with Ellis. He'd be angry, but also try to help Tony loosen up. "Hey, you don't have to be super mature yet. You're so young. Trust me, you should enjoy being a kid before you force yourself to grow up. Being forced into growing up sucks, I promise." Tony would hate the fact that it sounds like he's talking from experience.

Tony loves music! His dad liked music, and he could play guitar, so Tony likes music and wants to learn to play. He also wants to learn piano. He learned like 2 meme songs on piano to impress people in music class and almost got detention (tryhard)

Tony listens to music mainly at the moment. He wants to learn to write songs. He doesn't wanna be a songwriter-- He's still set on investigative journalism. It's just a hobby

He'd write lemon demon type shit mixed with like uhhh. Idk. Less silly, more serious stuff. Imagine Cabinet Man, but it's about an arcade controlling a person, and it's slower and more ominous sounding (the GGY song)

He listens to songs his dad likes, often. Reminds him of him. He misses him every day, and it's a way of escaping. He usually listens to music late at night, and he thinks... just thinks.

Gregory is the one who got Tony into cheesy 80s music instead of mf. The Clash and The Cure, which his dad likes. "Should I stay or should I.... Nah. Listen to this." He hands the phone back and it's playing Material Girl

Speaking of, Gregory loves 80s music! Ellis loves hard rock and punk music. They really do reflect their glamrock faves in terms of favourite music genre!

They'd have a collab playlist that they can all add music to, and Gregory always quietly adds things he thinks are funny. Tony got 'How Bad Can I Be' blasting in his ears one day and turned to see Gregory and Ellis giggling away nearby.

Gregory adds real songs. Some really good ones. But then he also adds it's raining tacos 60 times. They played it on a speaker once, and when it's raining tacos started playing, Gregory turned it up so it blasted through the cafeteria. All 3 of them got detention

The trio definitely snuck into a show at the Pizzaplex. Yeah, two of them can afford it, but what's the fun in paying? And it's from there that Tony was obsessed with Bonnie. It's the one thing at the Plex he can't pretend he doesn't find childish

Tony has been trying to forget it. He's too old for all that. But he just loves the characters despite everything. He'd start going into how he can like the glamrocks because he researched glam rock, while Gregory and Ellis don't really care-- "Yeah I looked into Glam Rock. It's like. A part of queer history. It's important haha. and I can look into its influence. Okay? It's normal and fine and mature." And they're just like "??? Okay???"

Greg's favourite is Freddy, Tony's is Bonnie, and the duo are super close. Ellis isn't stupid. He definitely thought they were gonna end up together or something; even if they weren't gonna end up like that or anything, Ellis is a huge tease

They all tried cooking once! Tried. Tony isn't a bad cook at 14, but he's an awful, terrible cook at 12. Ellis can't cook at all, and Gregory can only bake (at age 12, also badly).

No matter what they're making, Ellis manages to make slime every time. His favourite to cook is spaghetti and the pasta is always mushy, the sauce always thick as hell with not enough meat... It's slime. Tastes nice, with the worst texture of all time. Despite that, the boys like it anyway. When Tony's sad Ellis is like right. Dude. I'm making you my slimy spaghetti surprise rn

Greg would bake them all cookies at the weekends they work on school projects! They're usually slightly too hard or too soft, but they taste okay.

Ellis helped one time and the cookies became slime. "Oh my God Greg. Who made these, Ellis?" "Uhmmmm excuse me you're doubting the master chef of the three musketeers?" "He helped."

Greg got extremely, scarily good at baking that one September before he and Tony went missing (Afton/the Mimic can really cook apparently!)

The trio has a Minecraft server, owned by Gregory. Tony builds actual houses and stores, Ellis builds really huge complex things like farms and redstone contraptions + traps, and Gregory builds sometimes like Tony, but is shockingly good at it. He builds megabases. But he also starts a million things he never finishes, accidentally breaks things, causes chaos (usually along with Ellis), buries Tony or moves him while he's AFK, and /kills everything.

Ellis and Gregory built a dangerous labyrinth, and Greg teleported Tony to the centre of it. He's in spectator mode with Ellis, watching Tony struggle and constantly respawn in the maze while he complains. "MF GIVE BACK MY CREATIVE PERMS???" "Seek the exit, and your desires will be met." (leaves vc)

If Tony ever gets genuinely annoyed by their antics, Greg usually builds him something as an apology because he feels really bad about it.

And uhh that's all for now! I could probably come up with more eventually, but these ones have been on my mind abkshduhdjd

Okay, just got back from The Marvels. Super spoilery review under the cut. Just one mid-credit scene, no post-credits.

First of all........... VALKYRIE!!!!!!!!! Oh my god, I had no idea she was going to show up so to say that I was shocked is the understatement of the year. I love her and they're friends and I'm the happiest girl alive (I'm like Kamala but for Val. Well, what the hell... I'm like Kamala for Carol too). So the Skrulls go back to Earth? So... screw Secret Invasion then?

So... the best way I can sum this up is: sigh. So many lost opportunities. So many character beats are okay but nothing is done with them. They're just mentioned, we have at most 2 or 3 lines of the characters saying them but the movie moves along immediately after.

If the three are entangled, Carol could have relied on her wits to fight instead of her powers. Show that she's a hero not because of her powers, but because of who she is, of her core, she's a good woman. We have lots of scenes with Steve that are focused on that, so why not do the same with Carol?

She got her revenge by destroying the Supreme Intelligence but she destined Hala to be completely ruined. It backfired on her. That's a GREAT story! Why not focus on that? On her guilt, her need for revenge, her solitude, the fact that the Kree took her bodily autonomy... Her revelation is merely two or three lines that are followed by Monica "Oh, we're family, it doesn't matter". Uh... no! Don't do that! Dig into that guilt, make us get to know Carol better!

This is not a Captain Marvel sequel at all, this movie is not about Carol. Don't get me wrong, her chemistry with Monica and Kamala is wonderful and their interactions are the best thing in the movie but she's not the title character. And it pisses me off. Her first movie earned $1b, Carol DESERVED a sequel.

I liked the villain (forgot her name already), her motivation was interesting but once again... she was not fleshed out. She could have been a sympathetic one with terrible methods but she comes out as very basic. Which sucks! Carol got her revenge and it backfired on her, this villain was happy to destroy everything to save Hala... are these writers and Feige seriously telling me they couldn't have made them meet in the middle? Still hero and villain but somewhat close in certain things... that's an interesting story!

But mostly, one of the biggest problems I have with this movie is the way they treat the Kree. Of course, I'm not saying Hala deserved to be destroyed, they needed to be saved, that's cool. But the Kree were an empire, far worse than anything Asgard ever did (which is saying a lot) but they're mostly presented here as not that bad? I got the feeling that they were saying those on top were bad guys but in the first movie we hear what the Kree have been doing for eons and dunno... it bothers me.

And the biggest issue with this movie is a problem I've had with Marvel for years, but especially in the new phases. They want to put the heroes to the test, their actions are questioned and we're shown they make mistakes sometimes. That's good, I like it. BUT in order to make that work you have to REALLY dive into their actions, otherwise it feels like you just want to blame them.

Not to forget that if you do that with only some heroes (not all of them) and some characters are perpetually protected by the narrative, that disconnect makes these movies really hard to watch.

Oh, and this is a silly nitpick but that summary of the first movie at the beginning? It bothered me a little. As if we need a summary. That movie earned one billion, Feige, we've seen it.

Another big issue. That singing planet. What...the...fuck...was...that? Am I the only one who thought they were trying waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to imitate the GoTG movies? (And failing miserably)

Wow, this is getting long. Okay, positive things. The trio are wonderful. The flerkens eating the crew was pretty funny. The scene where all three are learning how to switch is super fun. Monica trying to reach out to the villain reminded me of WandaVision, my girl is kind and she's just so good, I really like Monica.

Just two more things. One problematic and the other that I LOVED.

The first is the powers range is all over the place and I find it to be slightly confusing. Carol can fix suns now? And she just fixes Hala that way and she goes back to Earth, nothing more? And Monica... she knows the villain opened a tear in time-space continuum just by looking at it? What do we need Stephen for anymore, eh? Not a fan. I like characters with powers but if they're not limited and kept small despite how great they might be, they just feel hollow.

The second is that scene of Carol in Tarnax when they're on the ship and Kamala wants to stay in order to save everybody but Carol yells at her "We save as many as we can!" to convince her that they have to leave. I loved that as it reminded me of Steve's chat with Wanda in CW when he tells her "We try to save as many people as we can, sometimes that doesn't mean everybody". I really liked that Carol said that but they never talked about it and it's truly a shame, I would have loved to hear it from her, it would have shown how mature and what a great leader and Captain she is.

Overall, I did enjoy watching the movie but it's not a good one. It's way too superficial, the story is too basic and, most importantly, Carol DESERVED a sequel. One focused on her and her only. I'm gonna give it a 5/10 and only because Carol, Monica and Kamala are lovely together.

Do you have a particular list of longer "Kingdom Hearts" fics or series that you would recommend that have a focus on either the Sea-Salt Trio/Family or the Destiny Trio (or both)? You tend to have a lot of good art and theories here, so I figured you might have some good fic recommendations too. (Self-promotion is absolutely acceptable)

though as a pre-note i will say that everything i have is at least a few years old, not because i stopped loving fanfic, but bc my specific brand of adhd hyperfixation doesn't allow me to actively read much fic while i'm writing my own.. and anyone who's been following me for a while knows how long i've been working on Stand AU ^^; it sucks but so it goes. i've been trying to catch up before i start my next big AU, but man... adhd brain has not been co-operative -_-

Instinctively Family - Bookwormgal - Kingdom Hearts (Video Games) [Archive of Our Own]

First up is the Instinctive Family series by Bookwormgal, which i've been following for a long time (one of the few i manage to keep up with while working on stand au) and absolutely adore. part one is set during the games and is focused on axel/lea's developing role in roxas and xions lives. it's canon divergent, and part 2 focuses on lea (and isa) learning how to parent a pair of superpowered teenage toddlers while also managing their own boatloads of Trauma. it's a great read and i can't reccommend it enough.

The Stories We Tell | Archive of Our Own

dealing with axel and saix's past, ranging from radiant garden, through their horribly traumatic time in the organization, and then finally to the found family light at the end of the tunnel.

this one is very heavy, with topics and themes around neurodivergence, ptsd, failing friendships, and mental illness, and as such can be a little rough to get through. i definitely had to take breaks while reading it, but it's a great story if you don't mind a lot of angst before your happy ending.

it's an outside-looking-in OC story where said OC a tendency to adopt every kh kid they come across. and ends up in a throuple with lea and isa. and also there are were-creatures everywhere.

✦ Stu is demisexual! He's universally loved but he himself doesn't just love whoever.

✦ Most people interpret Stu as a REALLY smug dude but I like to depict him as a very energetic/enthusiastic dumbass. He's stupid.

✦ With that being said he's PRETTY self destructive.. so I thought maybe he'd drink as a habit @ Barley's whenever he feels lonely.

✦ He and Barley are friends :)

✦ Stu is like.. some popular guy but Barley is just like . hi Stu.

✦ THIS IS A BIT RIDICULOUS but WHILE HE'S THE ONLY ONE IN HIS TRIO THIS WOULD MAKE MORE SENSE.. I like to think that he gets reaaally lonely quickly (hence the drinking habit) SINCE there's a difference between people who ADMIRES HIM and people who LIKE HIM.

✦ He ALSO definitely drinks a BUNCH of Max Energy Drinks. He does.

✦ Crow doesn't let him drink it, Stu gets dramatic about it.

✦ ON THE TOPIC OF MAX she and Stu would EXPLODE together they are the definition of SCREAMING. They probably do races together too.

✦ Despite his teasy-flirty behavior with Crow, he's actually super rowdy and stuff, but he makes sure not to hurt him.

✦ He does silly little magic tricks. Which includes wiggling his fingers and doing lil sparkles.

✖ Crow is homosexual! DEFINITELY fully gay he's SO fruity.

✖ FAVORITE COLOR PINK!!!!!!!

✖ He's really shy. Not in a "uwu h-hi" way, but he's definitely shy.

✖ Often compliments close friends/stu a lot because he likes compliments :)

✖ Works at Bull's, not for the money but because they're besties.

✖ Bibi works there too and they're quite mischievous/rowdy, they help give the diner a charm.

✖ He and Bibi have a super good sibling dynamic and they ALWAYS tease each other, they VERY RARELY get mad at each other. They are unstoppable.

✖ Aside from the teasing, they definitely know when the other needs them.

✖ Crow isn't the most open person to make new friends but he's up to chat when he's approached.

✖ He doesn't really say a lot though.

✖ But when opened up, like with Bibi, he's a fun and surprisingly nice guy!

✖ Because Stu is always wrapped up in people, he first found him annoying. That's not the case at one point though ;)

✖ He REALLY likes Stu's voice and feels butterflies in his stomach whenever he laughs.

✖ SUPER touch-starved.

✖ SUPER emotional.

✖ Whatever the hell Stu shoots out of his fingers (i think its called razzle dazzle?? idk if it's not im still calling it that) he's learned to like or tolerate.

✖ Though he finds it cute whenever Stu does his "magic trick"

G O T 7 PT.12

Guerin trotted up to JB's studio door with Eneoji and entered the code he had sent her. JB looked up as she came in, "Jagi, I wasn't expecting you so soon."

"I found a taxi that would take Eneoji, so I didn't need to drop her at home first." She gave him a kiss in greeting and detached the leash. JB grinned as Eneoji wiggled up to him and gave her an affectionate face squish and kiss on the nose before petting her. Guerin's heart swelled as she watched their interaction, settling into the chair next to JB at his desk. Once their greeting was finished Eneoji occupied herself by sniffing around the unfamiliar room and JB swiveled around back to the computer, with a glance at Guerin.

"Are you nervous?" He asked raising his brows over a crooked smile.

Guerin rubbed her knees and laughed almost shyly at his callout, "Yeah I think a little, but I'm also excited."

"Let's watch it then." He pulled up the email that showed two private links, one labeled as the music video and the other just said "watch after".

"What's that?" Guerin asked, pointing at the mysterious message.

"I don't know yet. I guess we'll find out after." JB shrugged and clicked the first link. Maximizing the video he sat back and took Guerin's hand to watch. It followed the storyline they had filmed; meeting, dating, the jealousy and the makeup, all interspersed with Mihi flying or the two of them playing with her. Once it was over Guerin clapped.

"Wow, BamBam did really amazing! Isn't he in the restaurant business? How is he so good?" She gushed.

"He pretty much hired people to run stuff for him, he does video editing as a part time hobby." JB grinned at her reaction, "That turned out better than I thought. His changes were good. You did great too, you looked amazing."

"I mean yeah compared to now." She joked about her post-workout appearance.

"I like you like this too." He took her hand again and met her gaze.

It was too intense for Guerin and she gave a crooked smile before changing the subject, "Let's check out that second link." She suggested suddenly.

JB stares at her for a moment with knowing smile before allowing himself to be distracted. Clicking on the mysterious link brought up another video.

"Behind the scenes?" Guerin read outloud curiously, exchanging a glance with JB before they refocused on the screen. The first few seconds were of Guerin talking, explaining to BamBam the concept of Free Flight. Her words continued as the screen flashed through different scenes of them filming, making mistakes and laughing, JB teasing Guerin and making goofy expressions.

"I had no idea he was recording." Guerin covered her mouth, embarrassed.

Back on the screen was a goofy dance off Guerin had started with Yugyeom before she tagged in JB as she was clearly in over her head. The scenes of Guerin laughing at her phone while JB teased her. The mood subtly changed. The smiles they shared with each other became softer, the reactions as they separated filming scenes they physically touched became shy, sweet even. JB's voice replaced Guerins.

"We're always learning. If we aren't open for improvement we become stagnant. People in our loves either feed that growth or they starve it." The scene changed to the actual moment JB was talking. He wasn't looking at the camera, but behind it, most likely at BamBam. Guerin glanced at JB who looked surprised and a bit anxious.

In the video Guerin was in the background playing with Mihi and JB glanced back at her with a small smile. He didn't say anything for a moment and the scene changed to an outtake from them goofing off when JB's voice cut in again, "I feel like every time we're together we learn something. So it's pretty easy to pretend I'm falling in love with someone I'm actually falling in love with." The scene changed back to a shyly smiling JB before he looked seriously at BamBam, "Don't tell her I said that."

The video wrapped up with a few more outtakes but the two sat someone shocked in silence as the video wrapped up. Guerin was positive she could hear BamBam cackling as he put together this extra content. Her heart felt like it was going to beat out of her chest, it was such a cheesy line but it was so cute and delivered in such a heartfelt way she could feel herself weakening.

"You didn't want me to hear that?"

"No..." JB said, covering his face, "I'm gonna kill him."

"Technically he didn't tell me." Guerin said unhelpfully trying not to smile. JB leaned back sucking in air through his teeth.

"Hey come on. It's not that bad. It's a teensy bit tacky but actually really sweet and moving." Guerin reached for him, patting his shoulder reassuringly as JB groaned.

"He already sent this to JYPE. We can stop it from getting approved and posted since it hasn't dropped yet." JB said, dropping his head to the side to look at Guerin.

"I dunno. It's actually kinda cute. Maybe people will find it endearing." Guerin shrugged, "If you think it's a problem then stop it, but if I was a fan this kind of stuff would get me super excited."

JB looked nonplussed, so Guerin stood and moved his beanie to kiss his forehead, "Babe you do what you want with it. I'll leave you to your work. I've got a meeting with Jisoo and training with HEET this afternoon so I've got to head out."

As she moved away JB took her wrist and tugged gently. She looked down at his pout and he tapped his lips. Failing to hold in a smile she bent down and kissed him sweetly.

"I got you, Jinri!" JB scooped up the toddler and spun her around as she squealed in joy. He playfully tossed her up, making her scream happily.

"Careful, sweetie." Guerin couldn't help but feel cautious, even if she could see the little girl loved the game.

"She likes it!" JB said, but he obliged her and instead sat on the floor with Jinri and made silly faces with her.

"He is so amazing with her." Charlie sat down cross legged next to Guerin, "It must make you feel all soft." She knew her friend well.

Guerin looked down and smiled. Seeing JB with animals and with children was an extreme soft spot of hers. It had been over a year since the tour with HEET and they were already preparing for another one.

"It definitely makes it harder to go." Guerin admitted, "But work is work. And I do like working with HEET. They're like my sons, I'm so proud of all of them."

"Seungbin has gotten so big! I remember when he was just a baby. He's turning into quite the handsome man." Charlie gushed fondly.

"Why are you talking about another man like that?" Jinyoung fake pouted, joining the two women on the floor. He had just returned from his trip to the store to join the conversation.

"Are you actually pretending to be jealous of a seventeen year old?" Guerin teased.

"I don't want Charlie to see anyone but me." Jinyoung made no effort to hide his smile as he pulled his wife toward him and kissed her head.

Jinri pulled away from JB and headed toward the trio. He called after her and collapsed on the floor from her rejection as Jinri left him. Guerin couldn't help but laugh at the exaggerated expression of hurt on his face. Jinri climbed into Jinyoung's lap and gazed at him lovingly, "Appa." She seemed excited to see her dad. Jinyoung's face hid none of his joy as he immediately cuddled his daughter close, he didn't need words to express his obvious adoration as he cooed at her lovingly while she giggled when he smothered her face with kisses.

"This is so cute I might vomit." Guerin gushed.

"Imagine how I feel." Charlie might as well have actual heart eyes as she watched the two of the interact.

JB sat down next to Guerin, putting his arm around her shoulder and watching his dongsaeng with a jealous expression, "When do we get one of those?" He asked with a pout.

Guerin's eyes widened as she swung to look at him, "Excuse me?" She was surprised into english. Fortunately his biligunal abilities had expanded enough that he understood her shock.

"She's so cute." He pulled Guerin close, staring at Jingyoung's now smug expression with a covetous look of his own, "Let's get one."

"Yeah let's just adopt one right now." Guerin rolled her eyes, trying to cover the palpitations of her heart.

"If you think adoption is faster, let's do it." He responded.

"Don't you think you're missing a step?" Charlie raised an eyebrow at the petulant man and the flabbergasted woman in his arms.

"Well we obviously are going to get married." JB shrugged, "And I'll buy a house for us."

"Okay wait hold up. This is a whole conversation I'd like to be a part of? There's a lot of decisions being made without me despite me being a key player." Guerin said, flustered.

"You don't want kids with me?" JB asked, looking surprised.

"I didn't say that I just... timing and... ability and space... and... JB THIS IS NOT THE PLACE." She protested finally, covering her face.

JB laughed, "Okay, we'll work out the details later." He said as he kissed her temple.

Jinyoung looked at Charlie with a raised brow, "What just happened?"

"Pretty sure they just got engaged and pregnant." Charlie said, holding her arms open for her daughter, who eagerly jumped to her mom.

"Shut up." Guerin said in a muffled voice from behind her hands, a rare blush reddening what little of her face was visible. She peaked up at JB who shrugged.

"It sounds like a plan to me." He said.

"This is the weirdest engagement ever." Jinyoung said.

"It suits them." Charlie said matter of factly about her two friends.
