to be my favourite, a character has to be
- burdened with forsaking their humanity to fulfil the prophecy and then struggle with learning to live with themselves once they’ve outlived their myth
- the most unsettling, off-putting, sinister entity in the vicinity at all times
- a woman with a deranged look in her eyes and blood all over her face

IDK who needs to hear this, but Egon and Ray aren't the only autistic og ghostbusters
Peter is too
Your telling me this man with two PhDs related to psychology, who always has the exact right thing to say to manipulate a situation to his favour (when it's a planned/known situation), but cocks up massively when it's an unknown situation, who has a massive reaction to getting slimed (more so than the others), who would rather joke all the time than take a situation seriously because wtf should he say
you're telling me this man is neurotypical?
nah
Winston's the only NT in this group (idk how he deals with these weirdos (affectionate))

You're a weak ass bitch if you don't like BOTW Zelda for being "mean". She raises her voice at Link ONCE and y'all are quaking in your boots like "OOOH Link's just doing his jobbbb how dare she be angry at my little scrungly wungly 🥺🥺🥺" like babes grow up fr. How come it's perfectly ok for characters like Midna to be a genuine jerk to Link (at least at first) but like, heaven forbid a struggling teenager ends up snapping at the guy who won't leave her alone. Y'all act as if she never learned from this experience either??? I'm casting penis explosion on all of you dumbasses 💥💥💥

every time someone does “valyrian culture was more egalitarian than andal culture” discourse i point to the fact that jaehaerys invented the doctrine of exceptionalism and was an evil misogynistic menace to every woman he knew, how visenya was not the ruler of their house despite being older, and how the vale which is STEEPED in andal culture & chivalry & the seven regularly has their houses ruled by women in a way that almost no other region outside of dorne has ntm having the ONLY ruling lady of a paramount house INCLUDING VALYRIAN AND FIRST MEN HOUSES and also i start shrieking

btw this post kinda made me think about how, as both a JGY and SJ fan, i see both of them get similar yet opposite treatment from certain parts of their fanbases.
like JGY consistently gets interpreted to be much more of a prickly asshole and a ruthless murderer than he actually is, while SJ is often toned down into a Tough (but secretly caring) Teacher archetype with full disregard for his canonical blatant and cruel abuse of children (well, one specific child as far as we know, but he's a quality over quantity man for sure).
like maybe some JGY stans would benefit from switching to full-time SJ apologism instead of trying to mold their polite little customer service smile blorbo into an angry feral kitten with abandonment issues. and vice versa.

I won't lie, it rubs me the wrong way very much that some will view Miruko as the "angry one" like Bakugou when she actually only really gotten angry in a fight and in the one funny scene with Bakugou.
Other than that, she actually doesn't get angry. She's chill most of the time we see her or hyperactive.
Even as a kid, she actually wasn't an "angry child". She was just rowdy, but chill. (Read Vigilantes.)
I'm sorry but a child acting out sometimes doesn't mean they're an angry child. They just like to rebel a little.
Bakugou is angry a lot, but he doesn't sneak out and break into underground fights, now does he? (Miruko did that during her school days.)
So, no, I don't think she's an "angry" person. She gets angry in any situation like anyone would be.

remember when they retconned cassians’s entire character and personality and made him into a xenophobic stereotype with a sexist and insulting colonist narrative? and how everyone that was upset about it didn’t send threats to fans even when they themselves received anon hate for months for openly criticizing their favorite show?
so why the sudden need for violence over changes introduced in the acolyte? it’s almost as if a certain type of people are more used to getting what they want all the time that they escalate to violence when the smallest things don’t go their way

plain and simple i am not going to be able to remain in this fandom long-term if i have to keep putting disclaimers on every single one of my posts that say i don't condone dennis' bad, bad actions and that i am in fact aware he's got a history of sexual assault and dubious/nonconsent. the entire gang has done heinous shit. why is dennis the only one who needs to be treated like this? if some rando wants to post about how dennis is pookie pie that doesn't automatically mean they're blind to his crimes. every single member of the gang is a piece of shit. that's kind of the point.
draw dennis with cat ears who give a shit
