oh i am complaining today. got my car to the dealership to try to get them to replace the transmission bc of a transmission engine light. transmission is under warranty! free car part bitch! it's not actually the transmission, faulty wiring in the tail lights is fucking a sensor along the way. i KNOW this bc of google and bc the tech wrote in the notes that if he cleared the code, the car drove normally, and when he entered the code again, it was once again fucked up. so this tech has re-entered the code that actively breaks my car for me to merrily drive home with (was going to do anyway i guess), when it could have simply been cleared once again to allow me to return home in at least temporary peace & a functioning car. until it rains again (in oct in the pnw) and floods my tail light. all bc i wouldn't pay them $900 to replace 2 tail lights. jesus.

There also is a difference between being in an area where culturally it's normal to like. Blast music on your doorstep. Vs playing tiktoks full volume on public transit. Those are two different things that warrant two different discussions of what's "appropriate" in a public space

the thing about romcoms is just- it's never meant to be 'is it believable?' but instead 'do you believe it?' do you believe these two characters are actually falling in love with each other??? do you believe their chemistry??? do you believe whatever obstacle is thrown in their way is legitimately something that might keep them apart for a time and not something that could be solved with one conversation?? do you believe that they believe they need to fake date for this very specific reason??? do you believe the reason why they're 'enemies' at the start, no matter how silly a misunderstanding it may be??? do you believe the grand romantic gesture fits the characters and is actually how one character would show their love to the other?? like!!!! it's about empathy and authenticity and feeling what the characters feel so strongly that even if it's a trope or a cliché it doesn't matter because you believe it
