i was just happening to read your ayyo concept analysis and was reminded, did u know snsd tiffanys solo (ijwd <3) was also partially shot at the same pink motel?? i just found it a bit funny that sm returned later for another release

I think the repack was not well planned, but they still made one bcs they could tell ppl wanted it, so it was pushed out half hearted. Lets now set the bar reaaal low they thought. If ppl had given up and we skipped this release, waited until a real new concept (maybe a mini?) i wonder if we might have dodged this mess

idk.. i also think 127 needs another career evolution? like im not sure how or how to put it, but something...preferably outside the nct bubble. socially? with more of the ent industry or? hm i could keep going i just realized haha

i cant believe i didnt recognize the motel but i havent seen that mv in yearsss. ok just went back and watched it and i guess the only part i should have recognized from the ay-yo teasers is the empty pool but otherwise i dont think i would have realized without you telling me bc they mostly used different areas of the motel.

my memory is a bit fuzzy with the details of the repackage timeline but im pretty sure we were told a while ago that there would be a repackage so thats why everyone was expecting one (or maybe not, maybe we just assumed there would be one). i really dont know what kind of strategy they were going for with this awful repackage. but sm are no strangers to delays so i dont get why they couldnt have just delayed it a few more months if they needed more time.

the 127s DO need a career refresh. wayv and especially dream both feel fresh and interesting at the moment even with dream currently promoting a 90s cover song. their concepts feel distinctive and characteristic of their respective subunits and both have progressively evolved over time in a way that makes sense. 127's concept just feels stale :/ i think the 2 baddies concept photos were ALMOST THERE with the jack henry inspired photography especiallyyy his rosalía pics and rob pat pics for gq. i think they could have really pushed the visuals. i would LOVE to see 127 with a bit more edge to them. and instead of worrying about staying as pretty as possible. theyre already pretty they dont need to worry about that. i want to see them be INTERESTING and PUSH THE BOUNDARIES for whats the norm in kpop ok i have a vision. dpr ian is a wonderful example of what im talking about, though i would like to see 127 go with a bit more editorial/futuristic/luxury branding.

there are also some really great korean photographers too who have done really interesting work that i think would fit 127 like:

cho gi-seok, an icon. everyone knows cgs! and for a reason! i especially love their matrix inspired series it would be sooo good for 127 but their other futuristic/tech shoots are perfect for 127 too

pakbae is also great and while they focus more on fashion photography, they do occasionally work with idols for magazines. i love that they always throws a few interesting and unexpected images

go won tae has done plentyy of idol photoshoots that you would probably recognize.

less, aka kim taekyun, my tried and true. has also worked with a bunch of idols and with sm for superm and solo taemin and baekhyun concept photos in the past. i also love his editorial shoots but i'll just show some of the work he's done with sm. i think he could do something REALLY interesting if only sm would allow it

This is part 1

Xiaojun talking about the lost love concept of the shoot. And also the comfort of the bed lol. He looks so beautiful here by the way. This hair looks great on him.

I'm going to say it, I don't love these pants on Hendery. I know he wore them for a few appearances and performances, and I didn't like them then. But I do think these pants fit the 2000s aesthetic they were going with for OMY.

Sicheng said that today's shoot felt a bit like old Hong Kong movies like Chungking Express. I know what he means, that gloomy nighttime tint that a lot of the photos from this specific shoot had.

I was thinking about why this Xiaojun look is really working for me. I think part of it is that he has more of a natural lip colour? Sometimes he has a brighter or darker lip colour and I think it doesn't look as good as a more pink tone.

The director then asked them to do certain gestures because she wanted to capture their silhouettes and Yangyang told Sicheng to do what he was doing before lol. Apparently it was not a pocket watch but a compass.

How comfortable :3

Kun saying that most good photos in this world have weird poses. Basically his right leg couldn't really stretch out so he either had to keep it bent like that, or lay it across his left over Dejun, or just stick it in the air. In the end, he just kept it up and bent.

They turned the lights off after a while to get darker shots. If it was me I would have fallen asleep during the shoot lol.

Kun worked out for three days for this shoot but the shoot ended up only getting his chest, but he wasn't brave enough to show more because he hadn't worked out his abs. And Hendery was like "...~~it's all excuses~~..."

I enjoy your breakdown of what's going on with SM but we differ in opinion where the music is concerned... well the stuff I've heard. I have not listened to the girl groups at SM much but I love the music everyone else has put out, even 2 baddies. I like like when groups experiment, some songs are going to not vibe with some people and some songs are but one of my favorite things about NCT and the sub units are you never what to expect. 2 Baddies is just one of those mindless fun songs to me, but for me NCT 127 are so versatile that they can make anything work. You got SuperHuman, Highway To Heaven, Favorite, 2 Baddies... they can mold into any concept imo Also I love Ay Yo and WayV's last album, the winter palace songs, etc etc... I think a change wouldn't be an awful thing but idk this seems really shitty. I know business can be cutthroat but these people are working there because of what this man Lee Sooman did to start that company and truthfully start of kpop and I just think he deserves more respect than this. This feels dirty and harsh. Another worry is SuperM. Capital seem to work closely with Lee Sooman considering how tied Mr Lee was to that project... do you think Capital will want to cut ties with a company that staged a coup? This is stressing me out lol Oh no and what if this makes some artists want to leave in solidarity with Lee Sooman??? Is that being really paranoid? Do you think Taemin would stay because I know he's close to Lee Sooman.

Also what do you think about the hoopla about Baekhyun's health and people blaming SM? They think because he was sick for 3 weeks and now eating once a day and working out a lot, that SM is to blame for not stepping in.

Always good to have a difference of opinion 😊. I think the SMCU Winter songs were outstanding tbh. I even liked the surreal painterly concept of the photos. But again, I really don't know who is behind what. Like what of Kwangya? Is that LSM or Chris Lee?

And I agree that on the surface of things, it feels like a really brutal fuck you to a man responsible for a lot of great music and careers. SM made a hell of a lot of mistakes, but they've become so artist-centric, it does seem a shame to throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak.

Regarding SuperM and their future - Capitol Records wouldn't cut ties unless their contract was up and they no longer were interested. I don't know what the profit sharing model is with Capitol or what Capitol has agreed to do marketing/resource wise (anything?), but honestly there's not anything to worry about here. SuperM's comeback has already been announced and is likely being planned as we write on this infernal website, lol. Artists and groups are not likely to up and walk over this. I would find it very surprising. Getting out of their contracts would be too costly, and we don't even know how they feel about SM 3.0 etc. So, no need to be paranoid!

Re Baekhyun's health... I just am sooo sick of the victimization. If Baek wants to do that, he's gonna do it. Fasting is not bad for your health. As long as his meal is not actual junk food he'll be fine. And I assume he's drinking water and taking supplements. Like, fasting is actually good for your health. Why don't we let Baekhyun, an adult, decide what's best for him?

To me, all that victimisation stuff comes down to infantilizing grown men and also this pervasive, misguided savior complex. I'm sorry but men in Korea do not need to be saved from the evil mistreatment of... choosing their own diet and exercise plan? He's not 14. He's a seasoned idol. Marge from Utah isn't gonna change Korean beauty standards and deeply ingrained cultural values by crying on Twitter that SM are evil. What she will do is cause more racist journalism in the West decrying that kpop's evil dark side must be tamed. Sigh.

just one hour ago, ateez had published a teaser image on their offical twitter account. the teaser image was for the release of yuri’s second single, boyfriend, that is going to be released at midnight PST.

the news had shocked all atiny’s everywhere, the word “BOYFRIEND” has trended in under 30 minutes since the teaser image was released, and the tweets were filmed with shocked fans, and fans taking a guess on the concept of this release.

this will be yuri’s first release as a soloist since november 2021, and it seems like soloist yuri is back. a few weeks ago, yuri had went live via instagram, and she had teased a little about what she had in store while she was in LA.

- The birth of "where is my hair?" and yellow as Ten's colour, Ten mocking Do's brow movements, comparing him to an eating rabbit.

- Among the Rookies Ten looked most confident with his moves and facial expressions in the MV. His hairstyle suited him and his face.

Taeil

- This was Tende's era, but I'll give it to Taeil after all because he doesn't overpower others often. The grey hair really suited him and his image was of this dreamy piquing interest kind. Why did he look at the girl, why did he jump into the closet with boxes, why did he ride the bus? He was the protagonist of the MV despite Doyoung having the storyline. He was the main vocal as well. SM really tried to make a visual idol out of Taeil during the first comebacks.

- Doyoung joined 127, and the unit was never the same.

- Every picture from that era is iconic. The Russian hat, the tiger faux fur coat ("I felt rich"), the tracksuit, the eye ring, his scenes with Johnny in the raw version, Doyoung being his sassy self telling Yuta to leave the room, Do crying after receiving the first award. This "boy from the streets" concept really suits his face and his character. Sportswear and baseball hats are for him.

- Tende looked great, Taeyong appeared with fan-favourite pink hair, but I'll still give this era to Mark because he became the Mark we know today, the spitting straight facts Mark who is coming.

Boss UPDATE

It's a U song, but we all agree it's the most 127 U song ever.

Taeyong and Doyoung

- I really really want to give this era to Doyoung, but even black-haired Doyoung can't overpower red-haired Taeyong. The dragon was born. The number of new fans he dragged into the fandom...

Forget what I wrote. Doyoung is the real boss. I'll make an exeption and pick two members.

Touch

- He doesn't stand out the most in the MV (that be Jaehyun), but I think the concept suits his idol image the best. WW charm was always portrayed as that of a fluffy chick. A member loved by everyone. And Touch is a fanservice easy song. Joy, rainbows, warmth, friendship.

Chain

It's my ultimate song, but the concept is so undefined, noone stands out in the MV. Taeil looked good with the hair, Jaehyun and Doyoung looked good with the writings on their faces and in the Tende bridge scene. Taeyong had one of the fastest rap lines in his career.

OK, I'll give it to Johnny. He had curly hair at one point, the hairstyle suits him.

He also sported a chainsaw. And the chekered coat. The strongest member and the fashionista. There was a lot of experimentation with his looks in prior comebacks, which were questionable to me (the one side fringe, for example). In this comeback, both the haircolour and the clothes for the photoshoot suited his character.

Regular

Yuta

- The rebirth of Yuta! Many like "the healing smile" Yuta in Touch, but to me he stands out in Regular. He sorted out his issues and started to put effort in his dancing again, he was given a dance solo scene in the comeback and the iconic cow-print west. And the line "we are not the same, only one of me". From this era on Yuta will experiment with his hair and striking looks.

- To tell the truth, this comeback was "the era" of many. Taeil's red hair, Doyoung's blue highlights and his blue-and-red long coat, Jaehyun and the golden shirt, his "ice, ice", Haechan and his scene on the car roof, etc.

Simon Says

Another era when everyone was styled to perfection, it's really hard to choose. I'm watching music shows performances and still can't decide. Everyone were at their best and had their memorable moments. Aside from Jungwoo, who was still lacking confidence on stage, each fan can pick their bias and I won't argue.

- Jae looked great in many comebacks (Boss especially for me), but this time he overpowered everyone both as a visual and as a power dancer. It was the culmination of his Boss-Touch-Regular-Simon Says raise in the magnetic power of an ace. Ah, the married life before any problems.

- Another tough one. JaeDo looked great, Jungwoo's hair bounced. I'm giving it to Taeyong because he embodied the "freedom", "free spirit" and "life journey" the best. He looked almost ethereal.

Superhuman

Haechan

- As with Jae, Hyuk had his shining moments and solo dancing scenes in many comebacks.

-The MV and the dance allowed to showcase Hyuk's brand of performer's charm - lean, confident, sharp in movements. His role in the lore (the observer) was also kind of shown. That scene with the crowd going around him. Many neos looked good, but Haechan left an impression. I even remember how high he jumped during that turn in the air move.

Kick it

Jaehyun

Yuta had great white hair, Taeyong's finger movement went viral, however, Mafia boss Jaehyun was the talk of the town. He also had many good scenes in NeoZone track videos. Ash hair suits him. Nunchucks. He got several magazine photoshoots that Spring. Doyoung called him a King. Jae also rocked the garbage bag clothes. Kick It choreo is based on martial arts, which goes well with Jae's style of dancing.

- It's a short lived comeback with a messy MV. Yuta was memorable due to his blue hair Hisoka-like image. Other hairstyles/haircolours also suited the concept. He tried to add a lot of his personal style to dance moves, which often irritates me a bit because he doesn't match others and is slower than others, but this time around it actually fit the melody and wasn't out of place. Plus I like Yuta's voice during his lines. His voice tone is exactly for this kind of songs.

White-haired L.O.V.E Jungwoo. He also got his MC gig. Woo was prominent in NCIT, both his lore role and his student image ("every day" pics for IG).

Favorite

Doyoung

When you say "vampires" you think of Doyoung. His standing out vocal parts in the song and the MV scenes. Dorsen. The fitted at the waist blouses. "The reason why it's Favorite".

NCT 2020: SYNERGY (my wishes for an album)

I was positive we were getting an NCT 2020 comeback at the start of the year, however now I have realised I am a clown. So, instead, I have spent longer than I should’ve creating an album filled with stuff that I would like to see.

I want to preface this with the fact that I have no qualifications in anything related to music / album design / production or anything like that, this is just based on my opinions as a fan of music and NCT.

I’m gonna split this into 4 sections to kinda separate my thoughts, and so it’s easier to navigate.

1. TITLE

NCT 2018s album is titled EMPATHY, the definition of this being “the ability to understand and share the feelings of another”. I think SM chose this to reflect how NCT 2018 was an amalgamation of 127, DREAM, and U. I wanted to try and keep this theme for NCT 2020, though expand on it due to the addition of WAYV. 

SYNERGY is defined as “the combined power of a group when they are working together, that is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately”. To be honest, I think the word ‘synergy’ perfectly sums up NCT’s concept of sub-units, so it would be a good choice for NCT 2020s album’s title due to its meaning as well as its similarity to ‘empathy’ sound-wise. 

2. ALBUM COVER 

The album cover for EMPATHY was very bright, like all the colours of the rainbow, but still very minimalistic and kinda futuristic? The NCT vibe. I think their second album would suit a slightly more mature design, and as I have no talent in design, I’m going to use existing album covers to give an idea of what i think would work well.

If SM was to go down the route of a similar album cover, I think the best example is the 1975′s newest album:

It still has the text elements that were prominent on EMPATHY’s cover, while being more minimalistic in colour (aside from the yellow side panel which would theoretically be bright neobong green).

If they were to go along a different route to EMPATHY, I think this album cover by Paris Jones could work well for NCT 2020:

If the background surface was black, a polaroid of all 21 members could be a simple but effective album cover. 

In terms of promotional photos, this scene from the WAYV ‘Regular’ MV is my first thought:

Photos taken on a set like this, with all the members dotted about the room and maybe the album title + members’ names repeated across the screens could work well to give off the futuristic NCT vibe. 

3. TITLE TRACK / CONCEPT 

I can’t create a whole album’s worth of songs, so for the next two sections all the songs mentioned are going to be from existing artists. I’m not trying in anyway to suggest that “NCT would do it better” or that NCT should release the exact songs mentioned - I’m just using these songs to represent the styles I would like to see NCT explore. 

Title Track: GETTING CLOSER - SEVENTEEN 

I think SVT are a really good example of having a lot of members that all have the opportunity to shine. Getting Closer is that bitch, like the line distribution is spot-on and the choreography is one of my all-time favourites. 

Black on Black was mainly instrumental to highlight the performance ability of NCT 2018. Getting Closer is reminiscent of BoB in its powerful nature, but would be able to show NCT 2018′s growth into NCT 2020, with further vocal / rap capabilities showcased alongside the previously established performance talent.

The concepts of BoB and Getting Closer are already similar, so this wouldn’t be anything out of NCT’s / SM’s comfort zone, and would also work towards establishing a dark & powerful ‘brand’ for when all sub-units perform together as one. 

Special Stage: UH-OH - (G)-IDLE

I would like to see NCT 2020 do something a little bit different than ‘powerful’ for the special stage. Uh-Oh has a really chilled kinda west-coast vibe that I think NCT are yet to fully explore in any sub-unit but could absolutely pull off. It would be a stage where they could genuinely have fun performing all together. 

I imagine the stage being done in a way similar to Growl by EXO in that certain groups of members come onto the stage for different verses, then all come on together for the final chorus.

The styling for Uh-Oh is kinda summer streetwear. The best equivalent I’ve found for a boy group in this style is ATEEZ Wave era.

This shows kinda how I think the styling for this stage should be, in particular Jongho, Yunho, and Mingi. Just think lots of colour, street brands, and denim. 

Getting Closer and Uh-Oh are the only songs on the album where I’ve put all 21 members on the same track. 

4. TRACKLIST 

I have no talent when it comes to album design / composition or anything like that, but I tried to create a sort of theme / flow between the songs I picked for the album. NCT songs I’d liken the overall theme to are ‘Love Song’ from Neo Zone, ‘Love Again’ from Reload, and ‘YESTODAY’ from Empathy. 

I’ve used an intro, interlude, and outro to show progression of NCT 2020 through the album, with these 3 songs getting more upbeat one by one. Though extremely cringey, I guess I was trying to emulate them growing happier through being together as a group.

Aside from the two tracks mentioned above that feature all members, the rest of the songs are split into sub-units, whether it be pre-existing unofficial units within NCT or a selection of members I think suit the style of a certain song. I have not included any official NCT sub-units on this album, as that was done in EMPATHY. I’d like this to be one big NCT U album, where we get the members in combinations we’d otherwise never get to hear performing together. 

The Tracklist: 

INTRO: The Unknown Guest (DEAN)

Members: Xiaojun

Xiaojun is a beyond amazing singer (he is my joint favourite vocalist in NCT). This song has an old feel, it’s almost haunting, and I really think Xiaojun’s voice would suit such a song perfectly. Xiaojun performing an intro of this style alone would open the album well and give him the time to shine he deserves !

Track 1: Getting Closer (SVT)

Members: All

(Explained above)

Track 2: CHILLI (SVT)

Members: Rap Line (Taeyong, Johnny*, WinWin*, Lucas, Mark, Hendery, Jaemin, YangYang, Jeno, Jisung*)

I might have completely forgotten some songs but I don’t think NCT have ever released a rap-heavy song of this style. I would love to see them do a rap song with this sort of relaxed vibe - it would show off diversity in their rapping abilities and would be a fun concept to see.

*I know Johnny, WinWin, and Jisung are in both the vocal and rap lines, but I’ve chosen to include them on the rap line track rather than the vocal line track as I think they suit the vibe of this track better than the vocal track. Plus, it would give the three of them more lines (god knows they need them) if they were on this track rather than with the vocal line :)

Track 3: Uh Oh (G-IDLE)

Members: All

Track 4: The Truth Untold (BTS)

Members: Vocal Line (Taeil, Yuta, Doyoung, Kun, Ten, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Xiaojun, Renjun, Haechan, Chenle)

Although NCT has released ballads before, I would love to hear members from different subunits singing together. Like, imagine Renjun, Xiaojun, and Jungwoo on the SAME track - the power. Taeil and Chenle harmonising? Iconic.

Track 5: Spotlight (1the9)

Members: Foreign Swaggers / English-Speaking Line (Johnny, Ten, Jaehyun, Hendery, Xiaojun, Mark, YangYang)

I know Xiaojun, Hendery, and YangYang aren’t technically in the Foreign Swaggers, but I feel like spiritually they are. I wanna see 6 of them causing havoc while Jaehyun spectates (https://youtu.be/acsjfk4cz1U). A song with a playful vibe, not necessarily in English, would suit these members well.

INTERLUDE: Dayfly (DEAN)

Members: Taeil, Taeyong, Kun, Doyoung, Jungwoo

I don’t have any reasoning for why I’ve chosen these specific members for this song other than the fact I think the style suits them well. I think the 5 of them together on an interlude with a relaxed feel would just be a really calming break in the album.  

Track 6: Vibe (1Team)

Members: Taeyong, Yuta, Jungwoo, Jeno, Jaemin, Haechan, Jisung

This is quite a broad range of members in terms of age but I don’t think that matters as each of their styles would suit a song like this. A relaxed style and structure similar to the one this song has would allow each of them to shine, as it’s nearly an equal split of rappers to vocalists.

Track 7: Retro Future (Triple H)

Members: Johnny, Ten

Baby Don’t Stop 2.0. I can just imagine these two singing a song like this and having so much fun. A JohnTen duet track is giving the gays (read @incorrectnct​ ) not only what they want, but what they deserve. 

Track 8: Base Line (J-HOPE)

Members: 99 Line (Lucas, Mark, Hendery, Xiaojun)

The 99 line is 3/4 rappers so a song that is rap-heavy in style would best showcase their ability. We’ve heard Mark and Lucas together during EMPATHY era, and Lucas with Hendery and Xiaojun in WAYV, so I have no doubts the 4 would work together. Plus, rapper Xiaojun could be something that we don’t yet have but definitely need. 

Track 9: Focus on Me (JUS2)

Members: 97 Line (Jaehyun, WinWin)

These two are made for a sexy concept like the style of this song, and their voices complement each-others’ so well. I always felt Jaehyun was one of the members of 127 WinWin was most comfortable around, so their existing chemistry would make a track together even better. 

Track 10: Second Life (SVT)

Members: China Line (Kun, WinWin, Lucas, Hendery, Xiaojun, Renjun, YangYang, Chenle)

They have the range.

Track 11: New Rules (TXT)

Members: 00 Line (Haechan, Renjun, YangYang, Jaemin, Jeno)

A song with a fun feel to it like this is the only way to go for the 00 line. They are almost an even split of rappers and vocalists, so a song like this would allow each member to shine. I know any song with these 5 together would make me smile while listening to it. 

OUTRO: Blue Side (J-HOPE)*

Members: Yuta

Imagine if SM gave Yuta his own solo track,, just kidding,,, unless? But for real, Yuta has managed to prove how talented an artist he is despite SM only giving him 2 lines and 8 seconds of screen time each comeback, so imagine how amazing a whole song by him would be.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I tried to split the members evenly between tracks, which I know is unrealistic but is what we want to see (SM please let Mark, Taeyong, and Haechan rest). I’m not sure if we’ll ever get another full group album, I’ve heard some people saying it will be NCT 2021 for 21 members, like the 18 members for NCT 2018. Regardless, making this made me feel happy thinking about the possible interactions and the songs that could come from it.

He looked stunning with that vivid red suit that perfectly fitted the concept of the background you had before your eyes. And the beautiful gleam appearing on your eyes when he appeared on the frame of your view didn't go unnoticed by the young boy who immediately blushed at your mesmerized figure. "You only had to say yes if you thought I look that good." He said scratching the back of his neck and letting out of his lips and nervous yet shy laugh. "W-what?" You asked, still lost on his beautiful eyes. "YangYang! Time to shoot!" One of the camera men called him. "I guess I have to go… Promise I'll be back in no time." He said winking at you and fading away in the crowded studio.

Hours went by and you sat there admiring how the young boy that has been stealing random smiles from you finally debuted as a model, something he has told you he wanted to do for a long time now. You, somehow, couldn't help but feel proud of him for being able to achieve what he has. You couldn't help smiling widely at him whenever his eyes moved from the camera to check on you. You suddenly asked yourself how and when did you grow so fond of that boy in front of you and how and when did he start looking at you the way he did that evening.

"I'm sorry it's being so boring, I thought they would let you do something." YangYang said, knocking you out of your world. "It's okay, don't worry." You said, a wide smile appearing on your lips. "Ah… I wished our first date could be more interesting…" He said, leaning on the metal railing of the balcony you found yourself in. "Is this our first date?" You shyly asked, mirroring his actions. "It can be if you want… Or I can take you to walk around the beach for a photo session after this and call that our first date." He said, finally looking at you. His eyes were fierce and full of determination. You had no idea when he got so confident with you but you had to admit you actually liked it. "Or we can do both." You suggested, locking your eyes with his once again and getting more confident as well. "I like this new side of you. Let's go to the beach later and have that well deserved first date then." He said with a wide smile that he tried to hide so he could still look cool. But inside he was feeling like a teenager who just found out the girl they loved had feelings for them as well, a strong happiness exploding on his chest as he walked back to the photo shoot, wanting to speed up time so he could be on the beach with you already.

imo the worst thing about wayv and this little family fantasy being sold is how much the cleanliness of the photoshoot contrasts with the glimpse into their dorm we had with their relay cam... how clearly way too small their dorm is for all of them and how no one would willingly choose to live there with their 7 other grown men(no matter how well you get along with them) yet fans will willingly overlook that dissonance to fit the family narrative

I actually disagree I think thier dorm is pretty nice looking. It's like a college dorm, yeah it's small but they also have a dorm auntie to make food for them and presumably clean, that's insane to me lmao. It can suck to be in a smallish dorm with the same people every day but it's not like, torture.

My main issue with the shoot is the fact that it's got "WAYV FAMILY" all over it. I just think its creepy :/ like i think the concept of a pet photo book on it's own is fine we all love pets but it feels like sm is trying to sell the friendships of wayv as an escapist fantasy for fans, and that obviously requires scrubbing any flaws or bad emotions out of thier public interactions with eachother. and the fact that they're deliberately trying to get fans to buy into that emotional attachment is gross considering a lot of thier fans are teenagers
