I needed a break from all the writing so I did a bunch of expressions with the characters for Love at Twight! I tried to go big with a lot of these expressions and yeah! This was really fun to do! My hand just hurts lol.

I had a question regarding Sky.

Would he actively pick one of the other members of the chain up and fly them to safety if they are in danger? If so, how would each and every one of them react to being carried to safety by the Godkiller? (More wondering on Time’s reaction but also curious about the others as well) (◍•ᴗ•◍)♡ ✧*。

Yes! Okay so Sky actually picks people up all the time, especially during combat. It depends on how heavy they are, though. So Twilight (as a Hylian or any large animal), Legend, Ravio and Time are off the table.

I actually have this whole big thing written out about how Sky fights (because it’s different from Link), and part of his arsenal is… Wild. He’ll lift him up, fly him overhead, and let him rain down arrows upon the battlefield. (Wild is an excellent swordsman but prefers archery).

I also have a scene in my head where Wind is injured in battle and Sky swoops down and grabs him from above. Wind, scared of heights and hurt, kind of freaks out. It’s Sky’s job to get him to safety, even if Wind sees visions of the Helmorac King with every one of Sky’s mighty wingbeats.

I know you specifically asked about Time, but the truth is that Sky would actually never lift Time. Sky is much stronger than he looks- his endurance is an issue- but even being able to walk around with wings at all means that his core muscles are very strong. His wings? Mighty. But his arms? Not so much, especially his right one. (I always do little spirals as shorthand for his lightning scars. You must know that his right arm is severely weakened and he has permanent nerve damage.)

So he’d be relying on the strength of ONE ARM to hold a member of the Chain, unless they’re small enough to ride on his back. Small ones like Wind and Four, lightweight ones like Hyrule and Wild and Wars in his sword, Sky can carry without much strain. (Fairies and spirits weigh next to nothing because most of their body mass is just magic).

Also Sky’s not gonna let Time get close enough to be lifted. And if Time gets hurt in battle, he’s a literal immortal God. He cannot die. (I also have a lot written for how exactly this works) but just know that no one really worries about him during battle. He can take care of himself.

everything about bellumbeck makes me go insane. i don’t even know how to express half of it. the way everyone is in mortal danger during that fight. linebeck is forced to try and kill link right after saving his life. the one time he’s actually taking part in a boss battle with link he’s the boss he’s fighting. the way bellum seems to take his time grabbing him. the fact that bellumbeck never really pays any attention to ciela and bellum just grabs and restrains her instead of putting her out of commission or straight up killing her. one of his attacks is a spin attack much like link’s and we can assume that linebeck has probably seen link do a spin attack at some point. the way bellumbeck’s helmet is designed to look vaguely similar to linebeck. if bellumbeck kills you when you have a purple potion it plays the same sting as when a phantom catches and attacks you. this is the second time this link has had a sword fight with another human as his final battle but this time he is effectively fighting alone. of the main cast linebeck is the most detached from the rest of the group and is the only one to be an enemy. bellumbeck’s helmet opens after some attacks and right before he’s defeated. linebeck’s character theme utilizes harpsichord and excludes piano and bellum’s boss theme utilizes piano and excludes harpsichord. bellumbeck’s theme includes both and for the first half and near the end of the song they play the exact same melody at the same time. linebeck is suggested to be unable to fight or properly protect himself in battle for the entire game and then in the final boss in a twisted, awful way he finally gets a chance to be a competent fighter capable of defending himself.     does any of this make sense
