wait actually thinking more about that follower gap post, what is the tasw universe btr fandom's feelings towards roxy? i guess we see a bit of it in the tour letters chapter, and hopefully more in big time contest? are they public at this point? is she, as a girl their age on the team, being shipped with any other member?

hi!! the answer to this is simultaneously simple and complicated. as usual i have a long answer for you!

in short: no, btr fandom doesn’t know more than she’s their touring guitarist and if they did some research they’d find her listed as the writer on many of their songs. james and roxy aren’t public and there’s a few reasons why! as far as the fandom is aware, she just works with the band. after carlos told her he loved her at that one show tho some people might think they’re cute together but more on that later

in long: ah! i’ve already tried to incorporate this in so many ways and i have not found a way i like quite yet. i’ve set many little things up - you are so right about the letters chapter! rox makes a comment about getting some boos when carlos kisses her because we all know what fandom typically does to women who date guys in boybands 😭 in roxy’s birthday chapter, she and james get stopped in santa monica and people start taking pictures of him and he throws his coat over her head and pulls her away from the pier because of some “media training” he said he got from gustavo. jo mentions the same thing happening to her while she was out with kendall before the pair were forcibly made public by her publicist (which is also briefly mentioned; skipped that ep bc i didn’t like the sneaker storyline sorry!) so there’s little crumbs im attempting to put in here and there i just can’t decide what to do with them. i thought about adding another section onto the minnesota chapter where roxy convinces her old boss to let her have her show again for a night where she can “interview” (read: fuck around with her boyfriend in the radio studio for four hours) james and he’d forget to turn his mic off before calling her babe or something and accidentally make their relationship public but 1) the chapter was already way too long and 2) like what do i do then. write an even longer chapter the next time around to fix what i wrote previously? i do not have the same time i used to when i started writing this to just get down like 20 pages a night LMAO. i loveeeee writing don’t get me wrong but it’s just hard for me currently and low interaction on original portions of the story are not very motivating. (but i’m not writing for the engagement don’t worry! it’s just a bonus!!!)

so yeah like it’s THERE it’s just not there.

besides. i want james and roxy to have a conversation about it too but i think he’s probably tweaking out about it bc of gustavo’s “training” and she would love to be public i just don’t think she understands what being in the spotlight really means and she doesn’t want to come off as too pushy because he hasn’t brought it up. neither of them really know what to expect from a public relationship with a public figure. but i mean. they’re out to their friends and stuff obviously! so maybe that might come back to bite them in the butt later idk. i have literally so many thoughts about this i promise itll be in there at some point i just don’t know when :)

i imagine at this point in time the band members each have like the lower end of a 60-100k follower count? i really have no basis for this though. i’ll have to give it some more thought!

Yesss I'm home from hospital yay me.

Oh Edwina’s love interest has a lot to live up to in my mind because Matthew Goose Bagwell is a very special man who makes his own Jam because Mary said she wanted to make Bakewell tarts. And who tags along to Edwina’s functions and had absolutely no idea who Simon Basset was when he met him because he doesn’t follow football. But who went bright red when he met Francesca Bridgerton because he is an avid Kilmartin fan. For the historical accuracy of course. Edwina privately asked Francesca if she and Michael would sign Matthew’s Kilmartin blurays which of course Frankie did with a bemused little smile. Anyway Matthew Goose Bagwell is a gem whom I love and adore and he and Edwina deserve to be so happy. 

I’m VERY excited to be writing Michael and Francesca’s story this week! Which! I’m very excited to announce will be called Dangerous! Oooooo!

Anyway! Let’s check in with Edwina and Matthew and Umm... Meeting the parents?

Edwina Sheffield was not a person who got nervous very often. She gave interviews and met people, and smiled, and it took a certain amount of confidence to let your picture be printed on a billboard in the busiest section of London, and yet here she sat, in the passenger seat of Matthew’s car nerves clawing at her stomach. Matthew had sat at her kitchen table a week ago nervously adjusting his glasses, clearly considering his words carefully.

“I really like your sister.” He said gently, and Edwina had raised her eyebrows, surprised by the odd turn. “Though her husband is a little... scary.” He’d finished, swallowing nervously. Edwina felt her brow furrow. “I’m glad. Kate’s my favourite person. We were really close growing up. Still are. And don’t worry about Anthony. He honestly didn’t even like Kate at first, or he at least pretended not to, and you’ve seen them now.” She’d said chuckling quietly, and Matthew had smiled, and then taken a deep breath, his question coming out in a hurried breath. “Umm... Eddie I’d really like it if you met my Mum.” And Edwina had stilled, a slice of toast halfway to her mouth, her mind racing. It was a natural progression of their relationship, this was how relationships were supposed to work, she knew, two people slowly intertwining their lives. But she’d never done it, all of her previous boyfriends keeping her at arms length. Even after months and months. And yet here Matthew was, barely a month in, holding out a piece of string, asking her to take it. “i’d like that as well.” 

“There’s no need to be nervous, She’s really excited to meet you.” 

Matt said, smiling his little crooked smile that always made her heart beat a little faster. Edwina forced herself to nod, her hands clutching the flowers she’d brought a little desperately, her knuckles turning white. Because she knew Matthew was wrong. There was plenty to worry about. Would Mrs Bagwell think she was a vapid, self obsessed woman? Plenty of people assumed she was. Would she think she wasn’t good enough for her son? She probably wasn’t. She’d been thinking about it all week, playing the possibilities over and over in her head until they’d come spilling out of her when she’d called Kate last night in a near panic. 

“Eddie, come on, Matthew’s mum is going to love you!” Kate said gently, and in her panic Edwina had scoffed. “That’s easy for you to say, Anthony’s Mum adores you.” Kate had hummed contentedly. “Violet and I do get along well, because I make Anthony happy. And I know you make Matthew happy, I saw it last week. You’re amazing just as you are, Just be yourself.”  “Thank you, Kate. Just be yourself? Are you feeding Edmund this terrible advice?” Edwina had said snappishly. Kate had hung up the phone with a snappish For Fuck’s sake 3 seconds later. 

“Here we are!” Matthew said pulling the car to the curb, kissing her cheek before he slid from the car. Nerves twisted Edwina’s stomach as he opened her door, her hand clutching his desperately as they walked up the drive, his thumb rubbing slow circles into her hand. They’d barely taken three steps before the front door burst open. “Matty! There you are!” A small woman called, leaping forward and wrapping Matthew tightly in a hug, motherly affection shining from her as she pulled back patting his cheek affectionately, smoothing his hair with a warm smile on her face. “Oh you look skinny Little Goose.” She said tutting as Matthew blushed. The sight made Edwina’s heart flutter happily. A surge of affection for her boyfriend who said

“Mum, Please!” A little embarrassedly, his eyes flicking to Edwina who had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. Mrs. Bagwell’s eyes followed his, and her smile widened impossibly more and Edwina was temporarily startled by the similarity between Matthew and his Mum, the same kindness radiating from them. “Mum, This is Edwina.” Matthew said Smiling proudly as he continued “Eddie, This is my Mum!” Edwina took a deep breath and held her hand out. “Mrs. Bagwell it’s so lovely to meet you.” She said, smiling as naturally as she could manage. And Before she could react Mrs. Bagwell had leapt forward, wrapping her arms tightly around her. Warmth flooding through her chest. 

“Just Judy is fine, sweetheart.” She said pulling back, Her eyes flicking over Edwina. “My goodness you are even more beautiful in person.” She said, her eyes a little alarmed as she tugged Edwina into the house, leaving Matthew smiling happily on the driveway.  “It’s a little startling actually. Goodness, that smile. No wonder my Matty’s so taken with you.” She said, forcing Edwina down on the sofa in the living room, and Edwina felt her cheeks burning.  “Oh, umm..” She started, unsure what to do as Matthew settled beside her, his arm around her waist still grinning happily. Judy shook her head. “Oh no, I don’t mean anything by it, never mind me. How do you take your tea sweetheart?” She said looking back at Edwina expectantly as she left the room, Edwina’s mind racing to catch up with the startling turn. “Oh umm Black, Please. If it’s not too much trouble, No let me help you!” She said trying to stand but Judy shook her head disappearing down the hall. 

“She likes you.” Matthew said his lips brushing her cheek softly. Edwina stared down at the flowers still in her hands a little stunned.  “I’m not sure how you can tell.” She whispered back a little urgently. Matthew hummed  “She knows how happy you make me, that’s all she wants.” And Edwina felt her heart stutter, a surge of something she was growing more suspicious every day was something a little stronger. Their gazes getting tangled together for a second.  Judy bustled  back into the room, the sound of a kettle whirring in the background.  “Now I made this for you, I thought it would look lovely with your colouring.” She said brightly, thrusting a Small package at Edwina who looked around a little helplessly still holding the flowers. “Oh are those for me? You’re sweet.” She said before Edwina could stutter out that they were, “There’s no need to be nervous dear, I can see how happy you make my little Goose. Now Open your gift.” She said dismissively, taking the flowers and gesturing to the gift. 

Edwina looked down at it nervously, her fingers shaking slightly as she unwrapped an emerald green scarf, a tiny goose embroidered in flight. Edwina felt tears prick at her eyes. Silence engulfing the room. “You don’t have to wear it of course but-” Judy started but Edwina cut her off “Mrs. Bagwell, I love it.” She said wrapping the ends of the scarf around her neck. Judy smile happily, satisfied. Edwina felt Matthew’s arm nudge hers  “Now we match. What a pair hey?” He said, his eyes shining happily behind his glasses. And Edwina felt her breath catch  “Yeah, What a pair.”

I made a post about the Seraphites, so now I want to make one about the WLF. This post is mostly about the WLF's home base, aka the stadium and the area immediately around it. I've included some of my favorite pictures, and my thoughts and observations about where they live and their culture.

Under the cut again to keep things nice and clean.

I gotta say, this blew my mind when I first saw this as Abby. The WLF really have their shit together. Multiple power sources, a bunch of the resources FEDRA left behind, and multiple food sources. The field has cattle, sheep, and chickens plus some farming. On the steps they have even more areas for farming. They have a way to collect water, and even people to design and string up their logo everywhere.

It makes sense, supposedly thousands of people live here (you can't see it unless except via glitch, but there is also baseball stadium immediately next to this that they might also occupy).

We only see where Abby and other soldiers (perhaps squad leaders?) live. They have a pretty cushy life, two per luxury box (the rooms NFL teams overcharge for that run along the upper level of stadiums). Mel also mentions a special area for young families, I wouldn't be surprised if these areas were further divided. Perhaps there is also housing for larger families and single people who aren't soldiers or squad leaders. I very much wonder if those who join the military get better housing than those that work as farmers (or dishwashers, teachers, laundry washers, cooks, etc.). As mentioned earlier, Abby and Manny live in a luxury box, and there are 112 of those in the stadium this is based on. That's housing for 224 people, if they all live like the people in Abby's hallway. That would mean there has to be more housing in other parts of the stadium.

This stadium was once used by FEDRA, and you can see the concrete barriers they left behind along the edge of the field. They have to have more cattle than this, to feed all the people that supposedly live under the WLF. There is farmland around the stadium (more on that later), so maybe they mostly let them graze out there, then move some in when they plan on slaughtering them soon.

I love that they have wind turbines AND solar panels. You can see the influence that the Fireflies had on Issac and the WLF, they really focus on stability and restoring what was lost (at least when it comes to comfort). So they have electricity, sustainable food sources (and multiple kinds too), and a way to collect water (you can't see it in this shot, but they use a system similar to Jackson's, just on a much wider scale).

They teach a curriculum similar to what was taught to kids before the outbreak. We only see two classrooms, but from what I can tell they try to give the gives the type of education they could have received in the old days (as best they can, at least). Both the teachers you see are pretty young, which makes me wonder who taught them.

Most of the kinds you see in class are pretty young, like less than 10. These look a little order (they are outside the stadium in the market area, which I will talk about more a little later). I wonder how long WLF children are required to attend school (I think I saw a sign for 1st through 6th grade, so at least that?). I imagine they get a basic education with some broad looks into various topics, and maybe the ones most apt for study are selected to do specialized careers like teaching or meteorology. Other children are probably pushed into farming or the military portion of the WLF. Regardless of what they study, they probably also get a heavy dose of WLF propaganda. That aligns with how gung-ho many of them are to fight.

I wonder if military service is compulsory, like everyone has has to do at least so much time and then they can do other things if they want. Or maybe they make it so you don't have to fight if you don't want to, but those that do get better perks.

Most of the WLF you see appear to be in their 20's or 30's, or at least the fighters. That would mean they have spent most (if not all) of their lives under military rule, and they would have a special allegiance to the WLF since they manage things so much better than FEDRA did. Plus, you know, all that propaganda. I imagine they are told a lot about how the WLF is restoring society and how the WLF saved them from FEDRA/Scars/infected.

Sorta related, I thought of an WLF AU. Ellie grows up in Seattle under the WLF, perhaps with Riley and Dina and the other characters from canon. So many interesting things can be done with this, but that's for another post maybe.

This is one the cafeteria's the WLF use. I believe this is one of a few, although this is the only one you see. There is also a butcher and small market for clothing and items here too. They prepare food here, but I think the majority of cooking is done in an area set up for it in the stands.

They have posted meal times for groups A-F, and separate meal times for children and the late night patrol. So maybe this is the only cafeteria? Each end is blocked off, so maybe they use some of the corridor that circles the stadium for more living quarters.

This is also community space where they can play games, chat, or read. There also seems to be a mix of soldiers and other workers eating together, as well as young families (there is at least 1 or 2 women with young babies in here).

This little detail was super cute to me, but it also tells you a lot about WLF society. Everyone has a job to do, there is a role and place for everyone to contribute.

I'll talk more about this in another post (titled "It's Silly to Call a Post-apocalyptic Group 'Fascists', but Still the WLF Is Pretty Messed Up"), but an important thing to remember about the WLF is that everything comes down to Issac. He has the final say on everything, he makes all the major decisions, he picks squad leaders, he decides who needs to be punished, he's basically the Supreme Leader. Issac has been shown to be somewhat progressive with some things (you can follow whatever religion you want or none at all in the WLF, the WLF has no problem with LGBTQ people, you can get medical waivers for military duty, they provide support for pregnant women and parents, etc.), and in other ways he is very much the opposite (he punishes anyone who disagrees with him - this could be a relatively light punishment of a crappy assignment or it could be a beating, then there's the whole attempted genocide thing). Anyway, my point is that there are good things about the WLF, but also there is a serious darkside.

Anyway, when I saw this lady and her baby I immediately thought of Dina doing this with JJ while she gardens.

I absolutely loveeeee this little detail. A mural for the fallen. This really reminds me of some stuff you could see today, just replace the wolf with an eagle and make the uniforms camo.

There are 46ish names on this wall, so I wonder if it is continuously updated or if there are multiple murals, because they definitely have lost more people than that over the years. Also, there are about 150 people at the FOB (the amount of bodies at the FOB, yes I counted) that will need to be added. Maybe the war with the Seraphites just really exploded in the last few weeks (or maybe longer) leading up to Ellie's arrival.

I love that you can pause during the ride with Abby, Mel, and Manny to look around the outside of the stadium. Immediately outside there are train tracks and what appears to be a large market running along side of it. This is on the west side of the stadium, I believe. A major highway intersection is also nearby.

The market has all sorts of goods, food, gas, clothing, cleaning products, TVs and other electronics, records, and even more. I wonder if this is some sort of intake area for any goods they bring back to the base. But who runs these little shops? From some notes you can find we know their economy runs on trade, so how does this work?

Once you get past the market area, you see a pretty vast section of farmland. I loved this shot because it also shows one of their rain water storage areas. They mark this water as to be used only for irrigation, so they must use something else for people to drink and bathe with. Or maybe they just filter some water for people to use, and the rest goes to the plants.

In the background you can see the wall and a guard tower. There is a larger wall (like much larger, I'm talking maybe 5 stories) around the QZ, and a smaller one that runs around the stadium.

This is labeled "Checkpoint #4", so I'm not sure if that means there are other gates, but this is the only one we see in game.

The wall is pretty thick, and you can see these guard towers spaced out all alongside it (much like in Jackson). Once you leave the walls you are immediately surrounded by the wasteland that is post-apocalyptic Seattle.

Just a rant about bbh

    I generally worked at a coffee shop in downtown Florida, but I was sick of the smell of coffee beans and the rude brittany’s and Tiffinays that came daily for seasonal pumpkin spiced lattes and extra whipped cream and milk, hardly ever caffeine. I started to work at GameStop for a while but my real talent was gaming on my pc and streaming, that's when I met him. Badboyhalo was a kind and gentle sweetheart, and we met through Omegel,  we started to stream together and eventually we got really close, so close I decided to buy plane tickets to Florida from Louisiana. 

    I waited patiently at the airport, Bad said he would hold a sign with my name on it, oh yeah! By the way, my name is Y/n. I’m 24 and an artist.

    Suddenly a sign went up with the name Y/n on it. And ran straight into his arms.

    “Bad! Omg it’s really you, you look so much more different in person than through a blurry camera!” I squeezed him tighter.

    “Ok, ok, ok. I’m glad to see you too, but don’t wanna die right after you get here.” Bad hugged back but not as tight as I was. “I'll bring you to one of my favorite places in Florida.”

    “Ok that sounds nice and all, but like, do you wanna get something to eat first? Because the plane snacks were not filling.”

    Bad laughed and grabbed my hand. The car was driving past tons of similar buildings and hotels near beaches, palm trees ran past and the roads were busy.

    “So what place are we eating at?” I asked, still looking out the window.

    He held my hand and showed me a picture of a small wooden restaurant.called ‘Steak House’. “I love steak! But seafood just speaks to me. I love crab legs and shrimp, sushi is my loveeeee.” I started on and on and then Bad kissed me on the cheek and mumbled.

    “Can I tell you something Y/n?” I looked at him, my heart speeding up and I held on tighter to his hand, which I was still holding. I nodded quickly and then he smiled, his smile made it look like he was glowing, his eyes seemed to almost sparkle. “I really like you, and was wondering if you would like to, you know,” he started to get flustered and cover his face with his hand, “If you would like to go out?” My mouth dropped and I probably looked like an idiot too, but my heart felt like it just grew wings and wanted to pound out of my chest. My immediate response was to say ‘yes’ but wouldn’t that be a bit too desperate? Even so I said what I felt because I was always honest with Bad, he made me feel so safe and wanted.

    “I would love too, but when did feelings stir up inside you? When I first met you my heart was drawn to you from the start, you were so kind and we had a connection, or at least I felt we had one.” His face drew closer to mine and he cupped my face in one hand and he looked at my lips then back at me.

    “Can I?” I nodded softly and he went in, his lips were soft and warm. His breath was warm as he breathed between kisses. I felt that he wanted to push further but the uber driver stopped. Bad looked away from the kiss and paid the man with a $20 tip. He helped me out of the car and we went inside the restaurant. 

    We had some laughs and we ate desert and tons of food, he kept insisting he’d pay but eventually he agreed to let me pay. I knew he would feel guilty about it for the rest of the day.

    We walked into his house after we took another uber, since his friend was borrowing his car for the day and wouldn't be getting it back till tomorrow morning. His dog Rat immediately started to bark at me and got behind Bad's legs.

“Rat, she's not gonna hurt you.” He picked up the small white dog. It had brown spots under its eyes and stopped growling at me but licked Bad on the face like it hadn’t seen him for a year. 

“I’m more of a cat person. But she’s cute.” I looked around his house and he grabbed me by the hips and pulled me closer to him. He laid his head on my shoulder. He may not have been a tall man, but compared to me who's 5’2 and a half, he was a decent height. I started to rub his hair and he kissed my neck. It was obvious that he really wanted it but I wanted to take advantage of the situation. I stretched my arms and started to walk to his room, he previously showed me his house so I knew where his room was located. “I’m really tired from that long flight, can I take a quick nap?” I sprawled out on his bed inhaling his remarkable scent. It was hard to explain but it was like a dog and the smell of tide pods. He was a very clean person really. What? Were you expecting a scent like, honey with candy sprinkles or some cliche or something, I’m just being real. Bad walked in and handed me a large fluffy blanket. 

“Rest well, I hope you have great dreams.” He went to his desk and went to minecraft and started a stream, it immediately blew up with viewers. The chat went wild realizing I was on his bed behind him. He started to explain our plans and when I got here. I realized I was actually tired and dozed off immediately. 

I woke up and I saw Bad’s phone on his nightstand. It was 2:13 am. I was on top of Bad’s chest, his chest rose and fell softly clearly deep in sleep. I got up softly trying not to wake him and went to the kitchen for a sip of water. As I got closer to the sink I grabbed a cup out of the cabinet and filled it up with tap water even though I knew the cost if I drink water that could be questionable down in the south. I put the cup in the sink and suddenly large hands wrapped around me and picked me up. 

“Bad? I didn’t mean to wake you if I did, I needed some water.” He held me, bridal style, back to his room and laid me on his bed. He sat on the floor and between my legs. 

“You're making my head spin please… I need you, I can't wait anymore.” His pleading kinda made me want him too and I calmed my heart trying to take advantage of the situation. I smirked and held his hair while lifting his head to look at me. He looked adorable even though the only light was from the hallway and onto his face. 

“Beg for it, if you can convince me I can make your wants a reality.” He started to blush immensely but nodded hesitantly.

“Please, I want to pleasure you and let you enjoy every moment with me.” He bit his lip and he looked like a little puppy begging for a treat.

“Good boy. You're doing so well.” I praised him and it seemed to make his face lighten up. My heart and body felt so heavy but I wanted to stay in control till the end. “But you won’t be the one pleasuring me, I’ll make sure you have a wonderful time.” He looked confused and I kissed him deeply. He licked my lips asking for entrance. I gave him that much control but I didn’t let it last very long. I got up and pulled him to the bed, pushed him down and sat on top of him. He looked flustered. I grinded on him and kissed his lips, tracing my kisses down to his neck and leaving marks all on his neck. I bit his neck and he whimpered a bit. I giggled, “You're so adorable Bad.”

I took off my shirt and pushed up his shirt. I completely undressed but I made him keep his clothes on knowing skin to skin was going to pleasure him too much. I unzipped his zipper and slid down his boxers. I didn’t even bother prepping myself on him. I teased him by rubbing his member on my pussy and up and down my ass. “What on earth are you doing, darling?” Fred shook his head as he grinned. You didn’t have to know he’d snuck a couple of your picture books into his own room and he did in fact find them fairly entertaining. 

“Trying to kiss you, obviously,” You showed him the cover of the comic you were reading. His eyes narrowed for a moment on the picture you were pointing out, one of somebody dressed in red and blue hanging upside down in front of a girl, much like the position you were in now. 

“You’re gonna fall.” Fred tried to hold back his smirk to no avail. 

“Just shut up and kiss me, you jerk. I’m getting lightheaded.” You rolled your eyes but the smile on your face gave away how amused you really were. 

And without hesitation along with one more chuckle, Fred set his hands on either side of your face to steady you and kissed you. It was slightly awkward and you were giggling the whole time but it was still a sweet, soft kiss that left your mind spinning. You knew you would never get enough of kissing Fred Weasley, no matter which way it was in. 

When Fred pulled away you stared at him for a few moments. He’d taken a step back so you could see him almost completely now and had yet to say a word but somehow you knew what he was thinking just by the soft grin lingering on his face. You were thinking it too after all. 

You loved him, of that you were absolutely certain. 

“Happy?” He asked you, quirking an eyebrow up and smirk once again present as he stared at your still upside down form. 

In a slightly clumsy move, you pulled yourself up before jumping out of the tree. Once you caught your balance, you spun around and before Fred could say he told you so, you kissed him once more. When you pulled away his smirk had faded away and was replaced by a soft smile. One which you happily returned. “Now I am.”

“So much for a drama free New Years”

“Hey Ki?” Zuko knocked on Kianna’s bedroom door “are you almost ready, we gotta leave soon.

“yeah I’m ready” she puts some last-minute touches to her red lipstick, grabbed her purse and opened the door. Zuko was standing there with his arm on the side of the door. He was wearing a black long-sleeved turtleneck and black pants with a red jacket to finish the look. ‘man can this guy dress’

“wow, you look beautiful” Zuko gives her a sly smirk when he sees the blush creep up on her cheeks.

“do you mind taking a picture of me?” Kianna hands Zuko her phone. She turned slightly posing for the picture.

“Ok come on” Zuko looked at her with his phone in her hand.

“what, do I need to change my angle” she turns her body

“no, you look beautiful, I just” Zuko rubs her face “your butt is showing”

“well yeah that’s the whole point” she gets back into the pose she was first “now take the picture”

Zuko took a few pictures, changing his angle a few times before handing the phone to her.

“are you going to post this?” Kianna takes the phone to look at the pictures.

The ride to Toph’s house wants long, but it was enough time for Ki’s nerves to spiral. Somehow Zuko could tell she was silently freaking out and like the good boyfriend he is, he placed his hand on hers to calm her nerves. Even though the two haven’t been dating long it felt like they have known each other for years. Kianna apricates how sweet and understanding Zuko can be and Zuko feels like he’s lucky to find someone as patient and open as Kianna is. Kianna instantly feels better when she holds his hand. She doesn’t let go when the walk from the car, to inside Tophs house. The first people to greet them where some players from the soccer team. Kianna wasn’t listening because she was too busy looking for her friends, but she assumed that they were still trying to get Zuko to try out for the team. Zuko spots their friends before she does, he tells the soccer guys he will see them later and guides Kianna towards the group. Sokka was the first to notice the new couple, he gives both of them a smirk. Sokka draws the attention of the group to look at Zuko and Kianna. The pair finally get to the group and everyone notices them holding hands.

“so, you guys are together now, officially” Katara looks at the two, crossing her arms over her chest.

“yes, its official now” Kianna couldn’t help the bright smile that formed on her face.

“good cause Azula told me you guys almost did each other in my kitchen and I wasn’t keeping that secret long” toph says as she gets up and leaves the group. Everyone’s eyes turn to the two in amusement. The couple blush furiously as their friends stare at them.

“I think we’re going to get a drink” Kianna pulls Zuko away from the group. The two walks to the kitchen weaving through the crowed. Zuko walked over to the drinks to make drinks for them while Kianna stayed towards the entrance of the kitchen. Basically, the whole school was at this party, she saw people she knew, people she’s seen before and some people she had never seen before, ‘people form another school are probably here.’ Zuko walked up to her and handed her a drink as he was talking to Haru. The two were deep in a conversation about some video game so Kianna slipped away to find Katara and suki. Now that her and Zuko were out in the open, she wanted to show them the beautiful ring Zuko gave her. She gave the house a quick walkthrough before she checked her phone. A few messages from Zuko asking where she went was quickly ignored when she noticed the group chat going off.

She rolled her eyes at her friends’ messages.

‘I can be in the same place as jet’

just when she turned around to walk to where Zuko said he was, she saw him. Jet. He didn’t look any different from the last time she saw him. And of course, he sees her too, he makes his way to her, wearing the same smirk that used to make her weak in the knees a year ago.

“Well well,” he says when he finally reaches her.” If it isn’t Kianna, long time no see huh”

“Hey jet” she sighs with slight irritation 

“Well damn I guess your not happy to see me”

“well I’m not really jumping for joy, am I?”

“Look I get it, I treated you like shit and you hate me, but I’m a changed man, Kianna rolls her eyes,” no really I’m different, and I came to this party cause I knew you would be here”

“Oh god not only are you saying you changed but your stalking me? I’m walking away now.” Before she could turn around, he stops her with a hand on her wrist.

“I came to apologize, not to stalk you. I want to move past this, be friends like we used to be.”she looks at him, waiting to he the grand apology.

“I’m sorry I treated you badly, I had no reason to do that when I was supposed to love you and care for you and instead I tore you down, I know an apology will never be enough but I miss my friend. I miss the Kianna I grew up. I know I messed up bad, but I want to fix our friendship.” She found herself speechless. This was old jet talking. Jet before becoming a jerk, jet who she grew up with the jet she shared secrets with and hang out with everyday. Part of her wanted to hug him, welcome back his friendship, but the other part of her thought back to how bad things ended with them, how bad the relationship was. She continuously fought everyone who said he was no good for her, defended him when he did into deserve it.

“I appreciate the apology, but I think it’ll be a while before I could trust you again. He looks down at his shoes for a Brief moment before looking back in her eyes.

“I understand, and I’m sorry again,” He pauses as if he’s debating on saying what he’s going to say “I heard you with that Zuko guy, just be careful.”

“what, why are you of all people warning me about someone”

“I know I know, but seriously, I’ve heard some things from his ex, there not good”

“Look I don’t know what you heard but Zuko is a good guy” she turns preparing to walk away

“don’t defend him like you did to me” she stops dead in her tracks, her mind racing with what he just said, ever inch of her body was fueled with rage as she walked back up to him and slapped him, hard. 

“no one will ever do you me what you did to me, just own up to the fact that I moved on to someone better and stop trying to bring me down like you did when we where together.” She brushed last him, making sure to hit his shoulder with hers, and walked to her old room. ‘So much for a drama free New Years’

MHA SEASON 4 EPISODE 1!

I dunno, if I’ll do written reviews every week yet but I really want to though cos I loveeeee BNHA. Just a foresight, I watch the anime only and I know bullet points of what happens in later chapters (cos being an avid internet user makes it slightly impossible) but I don’t know the fulll debriefing so I’d still like no spoilers. Thanks!

- I’m feeling the opening. The openings of BNHA have always been growers for me, the only exception is ‘Peace Sign’ which is still my no. 1 opening (song wise, art direction wise is obvy the ‘Odd Future’ opening).

- I like the first shot of the opening basically being the first opening except instead of Izuku reaching out to All Might, he’s running his own race to the top!

- I love Amajiki in the opening! My sweet sweet boi :) I just love seeing The Big Three in the opening and I can’t wait to see more of them this season.

And the sunflowers in the background! Such a nice touch :)

Even though a lot of anime opening’s use this kind of ‘falling through the air, reaching out for each other’ shot (Radiant’s new opening literally has the same kinda thing), I do love it. As it is very relevant to plot. And it looks nice haha

Also, I love these graffiti shots in most of their openings. It’s dope.

- Lol, at first I really didn’t trust Tokuda as he has the same kinda hollow-ish sort of eyes that Yo Shindo has? 

- As someone who just had to deal with a whole day of looking after my three nephews who are all under 12, Aizawa is a whole fuckin mood this ep. I love Aizawa more and more every season.

- The pictures that Tokuda took of the class were super cute though. I almost wish he made just a sweet article about Class 1A, they deserve it!

- This episode in general, just reminded me how much of a good, pure boi Midoriya is. With My Hero Academia, especially during the breaks, the other characters are soooooo good and sooooo interesting that you can tend to forget that Deku IS best boi. Impulsive and self-destructive, yes but he’s just a super good boy.

- And I love smAll Might. Even though he’s technically dying (😬), I really love him in this state as his muscular All Might form was so performative (and enjoyably so) that you forgot about his core which is easier to read while he’s in this state.

Yayyyy, Tokuda is a good boi! I feel like too often we get the evil reporter bit in fiction, that it was nice to just get a reporter who’s a decent person. Yay!

My Hero has me paranoid about every bit and moment, that I’m thinking this is a prelude to something? All Might’s death? (Although I have a feeling that’s gonna happen pretty soon in the manga timeline rn...)  Maybe Overhaul’s quirk? But as I said I know shit... but I don’t know shit so...

- Btw, side note, I love Overhaul’s aesthetic. Fur lined coat, Black Death Doctor mask? Yes.

- I actually like the ending theme more than the opening theme rn. I’ll see how I feel later on in the season, but as of now the ending is a favourite up there with the Fantasy AU and the girls of Class 1A ending. Also, it is incredibly devastating and I love how much it crushes my heart. Hurt me more, daddy. Haha.

Looking forward to more BNHA! So happy it’s back. I’ve been so obsessed with this show lately, that I feel like I need to calm it the fuck down. I wish I could write characters like Horikoshi. But let me know if you’d like more reviews/recaps like this, I did the same for Fruits Basket and I’d be into doing the same for BNHA!

Week 3

June 30 

We had to be up and ready to go at 7:40am because today we were going to be driving to the Jesuit Missionaries about 3 hours away. Before the missionaries, we went to an amethyst mine. It was cool to hear about it and they said that they don't export the gems so the only way to get it is by buying directly. The gems were breathtaking! 

After another two hour drive we finally arrived at the San Ignacio's missionaries and ate at the comedor right in front. I got a pollo milanesa and a salad. I crushed the salad but the pollo was average so I didn't finish it. 

After lunch we toured the missionary. Our tour guide explained to us that these missionaries were sent to spread the word of God to the Guarani People. They had built multiple communities in the surrounding area including brazil and paraguay. Later they were taken out and some of the guarani people went back to living in the jungle. San Ignacio was abandoned and destroyed, so the restoration is only partial. It was cool to be able to walk through their common spaces and know that a couple hundred years ago there were indigenous people walking on the same grounds. 

The tour finished and we loaded up on the bus for the three hour ride back home. We ate dinner at the hotel and I got a pumpkin soup as a starter and let me tell you I was a little on edge because I’ve never had pumpkin soup but it was sooooo delicious. Since it was a starter they only gave me a little but I would’ve been happy eating a whole bowl of it, 9/10. For my main course I got the fish of the day which was “pacu” with a side of mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes didn’t disappoint but the fish could’ve been better. Not my cup of tea. And for dessert I got a flan. 

After dinner we all went to bed since we had to get up even earlier to head to the waterfalls.

July 1

We left the hotel at about 7:30am and headed to the waterfalls that was only 30min from our hotel. We were trying to get on the first train up to the waterfalls so that it wouldn’t be as crowded on the lookout. It was perfect timing because as we wrapped up taking all of our pictures a crowd of people were walking up. If you are able to get on the first or second train in Iguazú falls it honestly will make taking pictures a lot easier. 

After we saw “la garganta del diablo” we went to the little store they had and I got an empanadas de espinaca y queso (spinach and cheese). When I paid for it the guy told me to be careful with the animals. But I realized that the birds here are VERY vicious. I stayed inside to eat my empanada but my professor went out to drink her coffee and eat her empanada and got attacked by some birds! This is why they have cages specifically made for people to eat in LOL. 

We did another trail to see the falls from a different angle and it was just mind blowing. 

After the trails we had little time for lunch. I didn’t want to eat too much because we were going to be taking a boat tour right after. From one of the comedores I got some chicken and rice. While on this trip there are two things that I really miss: rice and beans. They have rice here but they usually eat potatoes and beans are not very popular here so my Salvadoran blood has been a little sad.

Anyway we got on the boat and I definitely recommend doing it if you are able. They give you a waterproof bag to put your stuff in and I also recommend taking your shoes off and putting them in the bag. I was also wearing a poncho which helped protect me, but regardless you will get wet. They take you really close to the falls and you can take some pictures in front but then they tell you to put your phones away because they take you sooooooo close to the falls and get soaked!! 

Once the ride was over we got back on our tour bus and headed back to the hotel.

For dinner, we ate at the hotel and I got the pumpkin soup, salad and the chicken milanesa with a side of mashed potatoes. Pretty good meal, favorite of course was the soup.

After dinner some friends and I went to the store to get something to drink. I got a white boxed wine that was only 55 pesos! (~$1.30). If you were wondering, no I did not finish it. 

July 2

We were able to sleep this morning till about 9am since we had to leave the hotel at 10am. We got on the plane and headed back to Buenos Aires.

 After we got off the plane and back to the resi (which I sort of missed) we dropped off laundry and got a little snack.

Later that night we went to “Caracas bar” to watch the Brazil vs Argentina game. I got this drunk called guarapanita which was rum and fruit juice. I also got some tostones de carne which really hit. The bar was a really cool and had a big screen to watch the game on but unfortunately the energy in the bar was really off. If you don’t know Argentina lost and it was really sad :(.

July 3

I was so excited to wake up today because my sister was going to be coming to Buenos Aires! I got up at around 10:30 and went to brunch with some girls at this cafe called adobo. We ended up walking but then couldn’t find it and then google maps said it was twenty min away so we got a taxi but what we didn’t realize that there were two locations #whoops. Anyway the food was bomb. The bagel sandwich just hit differently and Nutella and banana French toast was to die for! 

After breakfast I went back to the resi and picked my things for our trip to Uruguay later that evening. I picked up my laundry and waited for my sister to arrive. Once my sister got there we went to exchange some money. I thought that Uruguay was going to be cheaper than Argentina for some reason but I was wrong. The exchange rate right now is about .55 Uruguayan peso for 1 Argentine peso. 

We went to a cafe near Plaza Serrano called “La Panera Rosa” and I got a Chicken Rigatti Pasta. It was honestly one of the best meals ive had. It really had a lot of sauce and contrary to what Future says you can really never have too much sauce.

After lunch we got in a taxi and headed to the port and got on a Buquebus. Which is a ferry and then a charter bus to Montevideo,Uruguay. 

We checked into our hostel and then I messaged a friend I had met back in 2016 through Amigos de las Americas a nonprofit organization that I volunteered for. When my friend said he'd love to meet up I was ecstatic! We went to a random cafe near by and got a Chivito, which is a typical Uruguayan sandwhich and of course some wine.

 After my friend Miqueas gave us a little tour of the city and we headed to a bar to get a night cap. 

July 4

Happy fourth of July!!

This morning we got up and checked out of our hostel since we would be traveling to Colonia later. We walked to a restaurant to get some “breakfast” even though it was 11:30 am. My sister and I shared a milanesa that came with two fried eggs and some fries and potato salad. No need to mention the restaurants' name there are probably better ones out there. 

After lunch, we headed to Montevideo Shopping because my friend works around there so he said he would meet us up after he got out. Sooo in the meantime, we got to walk around and window shop. 

Once my friend got out of work my friend took us to the coast to get a good view and he knew I had a blog so he wanted to make sure I got good pictures! ( Gracias Miqueas!!! <3) 

After the photo session, we headed to the bus terminal and got our tickets for the bus ride to Colonia. We decided to get a quick bite to eat in the terminal to this restaurant called “La Mostaza”. My sister and I shared Ravioli, which was pretty bomb. The filling for the ravioli was like spinach and it was different but definitely tasty.

Once we finished we headed back to the hostel to pick up our luggage and then got a taxi back to the terminal and then got on the bus for Colonia. Once we arrived to Colonia I was a bit nervous because I did not see too many taxis but luckily once we walked outside there was a stand and then headed to our hostel and went to bed.

July 5

Today we got to sleep in again and then got ready to go get some breakfast. We went to this cute coffee shop called “Colonia Sandwich and coffee shop”. I got a roast beef sandwich and some tea. The place was really cute and since its winter time here they had blankets for everyone who sat outside which definitely helped. 

There were a bunch of birds surrounding us it was a little scary but more cute lol.

After lunch we just walked around the town which is really small so it wasn’t too long. We saw a lighthouse and some cool views on the coast. 

Later we did some more walking and found the drawbridge that we couldn’t find earlier. We also gained a new friend along the way lol. 

We decided to get a little snack to hold us over so we could try and eat dinner at a “normal” time. (Dinner in Argentina and Uruguay is usually eaten around 9 or 10pm so its been something difficult to adjust too) We walked into this restaurant that was right in the center, I wish I could tell you the name but the sign outside literally just said “Restaurant”. Anyway my sister and I shared a Rice with seafood dish and some wine. I loveeeee seafood so this was a perfect combination for me.

 After we decided to walk and get some ice cream at Freddo which is a pretty popular chain here. We got a Dulce de Leche cone.

Much later we went to go get some dinner at a pizza place called “Napo” it was really delicious. You could even see them making your pizza. My sister noticed that the guy making the pizza had a hat on and said that's probably a health code violation but im still here so I guess it's not that big of an issue. My sister and I got a salad and a pepperoni pizza and some red wine. (forgot to take a picture of the pizza sorry!)

After we headed back to the hostel and went to bed.

July 6

Today we woke up and checked out of our hostel and then headed to go get some breakfast. We went to this cute cafe called “Picnic”. I got an orange juice and a caprese empanada and then my sister and I shared a donut which was nothing like ive ever had before 10/10.

Since we had basically seen all the important landmarks we walked around and went window shopping. After we decided to go do a wine tasting at a place called “Buen Suspiro”. We had tried to go there the night before but it was closed. We got some charcuterie and tasted four different wines: Rose, Sauvignon blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. My favorite was the Tempranillo and a close second was the Sauvignon blanc. 

After the taste testing, we went back to collect our belongings and headed to the port to get on the ferry back to Buenos Aires.

Once we got back I helped my sister check into her hostel and then headed back to our resi to work on this blog because it was long overdue!

After I finally caught up we went to dinner at “La Robla”. I got myself a Milanesa with a salad and my sister got a Steak with some mashed potatoes and we shared half a liter of sangria. I didn’t know sangria is literally just wine and fruits lol, the more you know.

For dessert we got a banana split!

After dinner, we walked my sister home and then went to bed.

This week we’ve done a lot of traveling so im excited to be back in BA!

Do you watch cartoons?

If you mean cartoon shows, then no. But I used to really like the cartoon Gravity Falls though. I do watch cartoon Disney movies once in a while.

Yes, but I’m really picky about what rap music to listen to.

I can draw and paint.

What talents do you wish you had?

I wish I could sing, dance, and play an instrument. As you can see I have no musical talent hahhahah

Aww flowers are so pretty. i love the colors and the way they smell.... I’m gonna go buy myself some flowers now.

I don’t know much about art periods but I really liked Impressionism.

No (unless falling in love with Namjoon counts). I did believe in true love, but because of a past relationship, that changed my view on love and now I don’t really know how I feel about love anymore.

Yes. I just think that it takes a while for the good to actually come.

I’ve always wanted to do something in music, I can’t sing or dance if my life depended on it but I’ve always wanted to produce music.
