Genuinely with the death of nintendo handheld low-cost games that came with the switch, as every continuing handheld series became a switch series and thus had a price increase, a lot of their most kid-friendly franchises have become more and more inaccessible to children, especially now that nintendo has decided to follow every other major console and has started pricing new games even higher.
And now that a lot of these series are so old and thus a lot of their fanbase has aged into adulthood, a lot of these series would benefit greatly from making some of the new entries more adult-oriented. But nintendo very stubbornly wants to keep their main franchises as kid-friendly as possible, sometimes severely restricting the potential of these series by not allowing them to explore things like more complex mechanics, higher difficulty, or darker topics that past entries have brushed over in favor of keeping the age rating low. Pokemon's core battle engine has been in want of an overhaul for years now, and Legends Arceus kind of did that but not wholly, for example.
This would be pretty understandable in the interest of keeping every entry of these series accessible to all age groups, but with inflating prices, who are these games even for anymore? A normal kid with your average allowance from their parents isn't going to be able to afford tears of the kingdom or even $60 pokemon games more often than not. Back when these games were $30-$40, sure, if they saved up, but now many families have even tighter budgets than ever due to the rising cost of living. Nintendo is pricing themselves out of their target audience while simultaneously leaving their adult fans who have been with them since childhood to feel neglected in favor of exclusively making games for today's children.
Obviously nintendo will always make sales because even though they make children's games, they're still fun as hell for a person of any age, and many kids will be able to afford their games once in a while, but it does feel like they're kind of... making their games for an audience that barely exists.

How to Write a Value Proposition
Tumblr media
A value proposition is what sets your small business apart from the competition and establishes you as an expert in your field. It is a key element for marketing your business effectively.
A strong value proposition identifies your audience, addresses their pain points, offers a solution, and highlights what makes your approach unique. Follow these steps to create an effective value proposition.
1. Understand Your Target Audience
Tumblr media
Knowing your target audience is essential for business success. This means understanding who your customers are, their preferences, pain points, buying behavior, and demographics. By learning what motivates them and what they value, you can tailor your products, services, and marketing strategies to meet their needs. This allows you to create targeted messaging, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve better business outcomes.
2. Identify a Specific Problem
Once you understand your audience, the next step is to identify the specific problem your business solves for them. Your business may address multiple issues, and larger companies often have separate value propositions for different products or services.
For simplicity, focus on the primary problem your business solves. Most small businesses emerge from recognizing an unmet need, so focus on that core issue to communicate your value effectively.
3. Describe Your Solution
Clearly explain how your business solves your customer's problem. The goal is to help customers understand what you offer and why it matters to them.
While you may have several ideas on how to solve the problem, keep your value proposition concise and to the point. A clear and impactful message is key to getting your value across effectively.
4. Highlight the Results
To strengthen your value proposition, refer to what you know about your target audience and their pain points. Identify which benefits of your business are most likely to resonate with them.
You can also draw from success stories, customer testimonials, or other relevant data to further validate your value.
5. Showcase What Makes You Unique
Finally, highlight what sets your business apart from the competition. What makes you the best choice?
Do you have extensive experience, unique industry qualifications, innovative solutions, or exceptional customer service? Perhaps you offer perks like free shipping. Whatever makes your business stand out should be emphasized in this section.

5 Tips for Crafting a Strong Value Proposition
Tumblr media
Keep It Simple
Your value proposition should be understandable within five seconds. If it takes longer, it's too complex. A concise statement is easier to use as the foundation for other marketing materials.
Emphasize Clarity
Avoid vague language. Be direct and keep your value proposition straightforward. Your audience should immediately understand what you offer.
Avoid First-Person Language
Focus on the customer rather than your business. Replace "I" or "we" with "you" to keep the messaging customer-centric.
Avoid Overly Promotional Language
While your value proposition should set you apart, avoid using hype. Focus on the key benefits rather than over-the-top claims.
Seek Feedback
If you’ve spent a lot of time crafting your value proposition, it can be difficult to view it objectively. Get feedback from customers or trusted advisors, and consider A/B testing different versions to see which performs best.
Start Your Business with Confidence
Crafting a strong value proposition is essential for developing an effective sales strategy, both online and offline. Once your target audience recognizes your value, you can build relationships that lead to sales.
As your customer base grows, consider investing in reliable accounting software to manage your business growth.

Epic v. Apple: The legal challenge that could remake the future of the digital economy Because it has set things up this way, Apple wields huge power over the terms it can dictate to app makers. One in particular has become a thorny issue, even if most consumers are unlikely to notice it: Any time you buy a digital product or service on many iOS apps, it is processed on an Apple-run payment system, and Apple collects a 30% fee from that. Now, a federal judge is slated to decide: Is Apple’s policy just a hugely successful business model — or is it a violation of US antitrust law? In a trial starting Monday, the judge will consider whether Apple is justified in requiring many app makers — and by extension, consumers — to use the company’s payments technology. The potentially landmark trial stems from a lawsuit filed by the maker of the hit video game Fortnite, which Apple booted from its platform last summer for not complying with its rule. The high-profile case will involve witnesses including Apple CEO Tim Cook and his top lieutenants. Representatives for Facebook and Microsoft are also expected to testify. Corporate emails and presentations could fuel a fierce courtroom battle over app store policies, which are increasingly under scrutiny by regulators in Europe, lawmakers in the United States and many others. The judge’s ruling — and, of course, the appeals that will almost certainly follow — could have huge ramifications not only for Apple and its iOS ecosystem, but potentially for other app stores and the overall app economy, which has grown to hundreds of billions of dollars and supports millions of jobs. It’s a case that could either transform the way many in-app purchases work, or entrench the power tech platforms have to set the rules of an increasingly digital world. As Silicon Valley’s expanding reach has moved Congress to propose new laws aimed at restraining the tech industry’s biggest players, the outcome of the case may even shape the broader future of tech regulation. A swift removal App developers and tech industry observers have complained about Apple’s policies for years. But things reached a boiling point last summer when Epic updated its hugely popular Fortnite app for iOS. With the update, players were encouraged to buy virtual currency (used for items such as in-game outfits and emotes directly from Epic, rather than from within the Fortnite app. Players who used Epic’s payment system would receive a discount reflecting a portion of Apple’s fees, the company said. As a violation of Apple’s rules against outside payment channels, the announcement led to the game’s swift removal from the Apple app store. Existing players couldn’t receive updates to the game, and new players couldn’t download the app. That’s when Epic sued and further escalated matters by launching a flashy publicity campaign with the hashtag #FreeFortnite. It even released an ad that satirized, beat for beat, Apple’s famous “1984” advertisement. With the suit, Epic alleges that Apple holds a monopoly on the distribution of iOS apps, and that Apple’s rules around payments are illegal because they shut out potential rivals. The result, Epic has alleged, are higher prices for iOS users and less innovation in the app marketplace. If it weren’t for Apple’s rules, Epic would launch its own iOS app store and offer cheaper payment systems, the company has said in court filings. But right now, “Epic is forced, like so many other developers, to charge higher prices on its users’ in-app purchases on Fortnite in order to pay Apple’s 30% tax,” the company wrote in its initial complaint. Apple disputes that it operates a monopoly, arguing that consumers — and Fortnite fans — aren’t forced into using Apple devices or Apple’s app platform. The 30% fee it collects on app transactions is comparable, it says, to the 30% commissions charged by other app stores and digital storefronts for video games. And it was Epic that went out of its way to engineer a legal crisis so that it could bring the lawsuit in the first place, Apple argues, citing what it describes as an “intentional act of sabotage” by Epic to break its contracts with Apple. ‘Project Liberty’ The trial is sure to have some lively moments, as the two sides have already sparred in front of the judge hearing it, Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, who was nominated by President Barack Obama in 2011 to serve on the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Epic’s decision to immediately sue and push to publicize its fight suggested it knew how events would unfold — something Epic’s lawyers have acknowledged. “When you are taking on the biggest company in the world, and you’re taking it on where you know it’s going to retaliate, you don’t lie down in the street and die,” Epic’s attorney, Katherine Forrest, said in one appearance before the judge. “You plan very carefully on how you’re going to respond.” Records introduced during the pre-trial process showed that Epic developed a whole campaign to challenge Apple, called Project Liberty, of which the Fortnite app update and promotion were a critical part. Apple argues the existence of Project Liberty shows the game company was acting in bad faith from the start, because the entire crisis was premeditated. Further, it has argued that Epic is interested in its own profits, not competition. “It initiated its ‘Project Liberty’ campaign as a means of reducing the price for which it must pay for the use of Apple’s intellectual property, and initiated this litigation under the pretense that it simply wants to aid competition, not to boost its own profit margins,” Apple claimed in a recent court filing. Epic has conceded that it broke the terms of its contract with Apple, but justified doing so as a reasonable response to alleged illegal behavior by Apple. Framing the case The central idea behind Epic’s lawsuit is that Apple allegedly used its exclusive ability to sell iOS apps as a form of monopolistic leverage. Apple rejects that premise, arguing that there is no monopoly to speak of, so there can be no antitrust violation. Apple’s store may be the only place for users to download iOS apps, but it isn’t the only place users can find Fortnite or other video games, Apple argues. Apple is, of course, part of a broader market of video game distributors that includes Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Valve and Epic itself, all of which operate their own video game software stores. Besides, Apple has argued, its platform rules exist for good reasons, such as ensuring that consumers can’t be targeted by malicious app makers. It’s not illegal to have a monopoly under US law; it’s only illegal to try to preserve a monopoly at the expense of competition. By portraying itself as part of a competitive market of video game sellers, Apple seeks to avoid both criticisms. Much of the case could hinge on this framing exercise, as well as the underlying justifications for Apple’s store rules. “The question at the heart of it,” said Adam Kovacevich, founder of Chamber of Progress, a tech advocacy group backed by Google, “is this: ‘Does Apple as the marketplace owner — do they have rights, essentially, to run their marketplace as they like?'” Some legal experts say that, from a competition perspective, things are more complicated. “Once people are in an ecosystem, they are very locked in,” said John Bergmayer, an attorney at the consumer advocacy organization Public Knowledge. “I have an investment in the apps I bought, I have all kinds of data and stuff. It would be a huge hassle to switch, and so most people just don’t.” Under scrutiny Scrutiny of app store policies has spiked internationally in the past year amid a wider turn against Big Tech . European officials announced a probe of Apple’s rules last summer. British authorities said in March they, too, were investigating. Last month Apple was fined $12 million in Russia over alleged anti-competitive app store policies; the company has disputed the allegations. Last year, an investigation and report by the House Judiciary Committee’s antitrust panel concluded that Apple, Amazon, Facebook and Google enjoy “monopoly power” and have exercised it in ways that have hindered innovation and reduced consumer choice. Apple and Google were forced to defend their app store policies before a US Senate hearing last month led by the powerful antitrust subcommittee. Major app companies including Spotify, Tile and Match Group — which owns the dating app Tinder — accused Apple and Google of everything from exorbitant marketplace fees to retaliation for refusing to comply with the platforms’ terms. Apple and Google rejected those allegations, arguing in the hearing that their platform policies help ensure the safety and security of their app stores and that they do not engage in retaliatory behavior. But prominent lawmakers were not persuaded; subcommittee chair Sen. Amy Klobuchar vowed to investigate claims of retaliation and Sen. Mike Lee, the panel’s top Republican, called Apple and Google’s power over Americans “unprecedented.” At several points, both lawmakers quoted directly from documents filed in the Epic case. How to invest in Tokusatsu Part 2: The List
Toei Co. LTD
Tumblr media
Ticker #: TYO 9605
Dividend (Late 2017): 0.45 USD per share
Dividend Yield (Late 2017): 0.05%
Price: $105-106 USD (Late 2017)
Licenses: Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, various heroes created by Shotaro Ishinomori, Sailor Moon, Pretty Cure.
Toei is massive in terms of what cards it has on the table. Name a popular anime in the past 10-20 years and there is roughly a 7 out of 10 chance it came from this studio’s animation department.  Even Gen X American childhood favorites like Muppet Babies came from this studio’s animation department. Aside from that, they are the film and TV production company of Super Sentai, the original source material for Saban’s Power Rangers series, as well as Super Sentai’s older sister series Kamen Rider. Both are beloved staples of Japanese pop culture that make Toei some serious bank. If not for people like Shotaro Ishinomori, this company would not be known as the crown jewel of Japanese superhero media.
The downside is Toei isn’t cheap for some, 105 bucks is a lot to ask for. But it is justified as it is one of the most successful international animation studios outside of Disney and has made cult live action hits like Battle Royale.
The company as a whole has: Real estate, animation and live action film and television production, movie theaters, home video distribution (V-Cinemas and Hyper Battle Videos being an example), internet streaming content distribution, film studios for developing movies for clients, a high tech film R&D department, a Feudal Japan theme park (which many period piece shows or scenes use for filming). They also hold art exhibitions, stage shows and have a global marketing firm so people like Mr. Saban can get Toei licensed properties for international television.
Toho Co. LTD.
Tumblr media
Ticker #: TYO 9602
Dividend (Late 2017): 0.11 USD per share
Dividend Yield (Late 2017): 0.73%
Price: 33 USD (Late 2017)
Product: Godzilla, Mothra and various popular Kaiju characters. The now defunct Chouseishin series.
The House of Godzilla is a proud company that dates back to the early 20th century and one of the most respected Japanese film studios in Hollywood thanks to being one of the studios that supported the projects of film legend Akira Kurosawa.
As far as what it does, Toho has its own chain of movie theaters, an animation studio division that makes popular hits like My Hero Academia, a TV production company, Real estate, a movie studio, a theatrical play production studio and film production and special effects studios. They also hold the film distribution rights to many popular anime such as the globally beloved Pokemon series which gives them a slight edge on the competition. In recent years, Toho is adapting to the times in a good way by reviving Godzilla on the big screen and expanding into the market of online streaming/sales distribution. This has resulted in great financial growth in the past 2 years that could go on if Godzilla’s box office takes for both the Japanese and US film series continue and further expansion into the internet through digital distribution and partnerships with licensing to companies like Netflix. Proof that the King of Monsters can still pack a mighty roar!
Bandai Namco Group
Tumblr media
Ticker #: TYO 7832
Dividend (Late 2017): 0.11 USD per share
Dividend Yield (Late 2017): 0.62%
Price (Late 2017): 34-35 USD per share Lowest price in 2017 was 27 USD
Owns: Digimon and various video game franchises, has partial ownership of Ishimori Productions though absorbing a large money sharehold of that company in 2007 (Ishimori Pro is still family operated though through Akira Onodera).
Toy Licenses: Seemingly Almost EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN. Star Trek, Marvel, DC, Ultraman, WWE, Dragon Ball Z, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes, Sailor Moon, Gundam etc.
Easily the largest behemoth in Japan’s toy industry and now owner of the company that made Pac-Man among other things, Bandai is only spared from being compared to a maniacal corporate super villain in terms of power by having its global competitors live in harmony with it.
It produces in toy manufacturing of various types including model kits, DX toys, card games, premium collectibles, stuffed animals, Sofubi, electronic toys and video games. It also owns a few theme parks, manufactures arcade game cabinets, makes movies, TV and music, owns a trucking company, has a bakery to sell seasonal food stuffs online to customers, gashapon vending machines, clothing...They also own the famed animation studio Sunrise and have their own media distribution network. Yeah, Bandai is scary big!
However, that large amount of corporate product diversity and business means potentially that Bandai is stable and safe in most situations. If one falters, another could spring Bandai’s finances back on its feet. Bandai has recently expanded its global operations by opening a Premium website in the USA to sell adult collectible toys directly to customers online. So there is definitely growth potential!
Tohokushinsha Film Corporation
Tumblr media
Ticker #: TYO 2329
Dividend (Late 2017): 0.14 USD per share
Dividend Yield (Late 2017): 2.52%
Price (Late 2017): 6.79 USD
Product: The Garo Series
Tohokushinsha Film Corporation or TFC for short is the distributor of the Garo Series. While Garo creator Keita Amemiya has his own studio, Crowd Inc., to produce the show, it is a private company with no stock investments. So the best way to invest in Garo is to support TFC. While Garo is the thing they are most proud of, TFC’s core business is being a film dubbing house for Hollywood movies, taking the dialogue and translating it so the moviegoers in Japan can understand what the heck people like Harrison Ford are saying in their own language. Its other core business is film archiving and storage.
Owning TFC includes these sectors: TV/film production, special effects studios, Marketing firms, TV commercial ad companies, Cable TV (red flag!), Supermarkets, a furniture store chain, a beauty salon chain, a brewery, anime production, moichandising sales and home video sales. They also have a licensing firm in Los Angeles, CA called Cente Service (which presumably is how Kraken Releasing got the rights to those shiny Blu-Rays of Garo Season 1!).
TFC is cheap compared to the others. But cheaper stocks below $10 always have higher risk in some capacity depending on company performance, so be careful!
Shochiku LTD.
Tumblr media
Ticker #:TYO 9601
Dividend: 0.26 USD per share  (Does not make payments quarterly)
Dividend Yield: 0.35%
Price: 150 USD
What you are Toku investing in: Ultraman films
Shochiku is the toughest of the film studios in Japan, as it has been around since 1895!  Don’t believe me? This one Kabuki theater company turned film studio has survived the following: the end of the Meiji Era, World War II, US occupation, several earthquakes, changing technology, and stared down a near bankruptcy without even flinching. You know you have something special when a 122 year old company is still profitable and still growing. While they now focus on movies and media, Shochiku did not abandon their heritage as the Kabuki theater company that built it is still in operation, now expanded to doing other stage plays. Their core film business is Samurai movies, dramas and action/crime dramas
Shochiku owns movie theaters, a music record company, a film studio, an anime production unit, several stage theater companies including a costume department, real estate, restaurants, home video distribution, TV broadcasting etc. They also hold the rights to film distribution of the Ultraman movies.
Stock is a bit pricier, but it has had decent growth the past 3 years.
Takara Tomy Co.
Tumblr media
Ticker #: TYO 7867
Dividend: 0.12 USD per share
Dividend Yield: 0.72%
Price: 16 USD per share
Owns: The Tomica Hero series, Transformers (co-partnership with Hasbro), Tomica toy cars
Takara Tomy is a famed toy brand thanks to the popularity of its products like Transformers and Beyblade. Recently, the company threw their hats back into the TV tokusatsu ring by making the magical girl series Idol x Warriors Miracle Tunes to compete with Bandai/Toei’s Pretty Cure Series.
While beloved, the grim shadow of Japan’s declining birth rate is making investors wary of Takara Tomy as their target demographic is younger kids. This leaves them in a very vulnerable position if Japan’s birth rate screeches to a complete halt, as no new babies means no future toddlers or preschoolers to ask parents to buy their products like PlaRail. Another blow to them recently is the loss of their long running Pokemon toy license to a rival company which will start selling their own toys in 2018.
Some meanspirited money men are even speculating Hasbro will just buy out Takara’s ownership of Transformers and ditch the remains if they sink. However, not all is gloom and doom as things seem to be doing better this year. Time will tell if this toy company, one half of which is one of the oldest toy manufacturers in Japan, will endure. In the meantime, give it some love so maybe we can get the Tomica Hero series back! (holding a large amount of stocks gives you voting power over who leads the company after all!)
Takara Tomy’s main business is of course toy manufacturing. It also deals in the making of baby products, children’s books, video games, gashapon toys, candies and various other youth marketed goods and apparel.

Dividend: 9 cents USD
Yield: 0.40%
Owns: Funimation, therefore indirectly owns the distribution rights to the Garo anime.
Now, I know what you are thinking. Sony? Well, yeah. Given a very recent event, this counts. See just a week ago, Sony officially bought Funimation. And Funimation had a deal with MAPPA to buy the streaming rights to the Garo animes. Plus, Funimation was in the middle of simulcasting Infini-T Force when it happened! In addition, the company is a major partner with Bandai and Ishimori Pro in making Kamen Rider video games for its Playstation family of game consoles like the hotly anticipated Climax Fighters game.
The company is often overlooked for bigger tech stocks like Apple, but they are so much more than a video game company. In addition to consumer electronics, the Sony corporation has a movie studio (which is debated in merit due to the quality of some of their productions) a TV studio in LA that produces shows and beloved TV game show staples Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, an animation studio and that is just the visual media part.
They have semiconductor manufacturing plants, record labels and music distribution, Networking, medical firms, insurance, banking, telecommunications, advertising....In short, Sony is one of the most diverse businesses in the entire world and a worthy addition to a portfolio.
And now one NOT to invest in...
Fields Corp.

As of this year...this stock is not worth your time. Fields is in trouble right now as the reports of its financials indicate a hard time. The company has lost a big chunk of its yearly income. It is in the negative in terms of debt in some areas and it is reporting major losses. Its primary business is Pachinko machines.
Figures, a company that invests on gambling would go down this year!
So there you have it, places you can support tokusatsu in the world of finance!
I know this was probably boring, but I promise the next post will be fun!

Youth Activities Ii - Valentine’s Day Time
Can a Valentine's Day be messed up with a straightforward https://en.search.wordpress.com/?src=organic&q=dansk gift? Well, it would appear that Amy LaBelle can.
A lengthy, very long time back, when even the stuffed toy stores have been not everywhere and no one taught women how you can enjoy their sex, I was already a stressed and lively youngster who imagined checking out the industry of delight alone or perhaps in company.
At that time, I had a man with whom I needed began to make it happen together with whom I spent the afternoons of Saturdays from bash to bash. Though if we have been lucky along with his mothers and fathers went to village to the weekend, sometimes we could also spend the times together and also the celebration was better still. Which was when February came and remembering Valentine's Time seemed the most appropriate thing to do. We were privileged to obtain among those Saturdays whenever we could rely on the house of his mother and father, therefore we prepared almost everything to savor a wonderful night of enjoy very hormonal. He would look after acquiring some take out, as well as renting a porno video and getting more condoms, and I would acquire some under garments he got never observed and carry some fragrant candles to create the atmosphere. In fact a few things i got lay out to perform was delight him with a very interesting gift item both for individuals.
We had concluded dinner when he took out a tiny package covered with gold papers. To my amazement, his soft romanticism got directed him to provide us a engagement ring together with his name engraved upon it, as well as the particular date in our very first erotic deal with. Right then I thought it was fine to explain to him that this is not usually the date engraved on this kind of gift idea, nevertheless i realized that on his component, it had been a very wonderful details as well as attractive, plus it would stop being required to explain to anyone that this became not exactly the time of our own anniversary. She got also delivered a number of containers of condoms of varied flavours that her co-workers experienced certain her that I would go crazy and this I would not cease until I had tried all of them. In the event it was my turn to give her my gift item, I got out a beautifully twisted footwear box. Her very first reaction was obviously to believe that we was giving her some sneakers and her grin distributed from ear to ears. When she picked up the lid from the pack and noticed a tremendous crimson vibrator her touch transformed immediately and her anger became the protagonist of the festivity, as to what I needed was required to preserve as much as buy it!
A long, number of years ago, gentlemen only comprehended competition inside the sex area as well as any penis besides their particular was an affront for their virility. The one which was not only power-driven but also longer and fuller than his very own was an insult to his immature head. That Valentine's besøg dette websted lige her Time evening failed to end properly for people like us since there was clearly absolutely no way he could know the value that plaything would bring to our intimacy. Even so, I didn't give up and a few weeks later on, once again from the tranquility of my father's property, I surely could train him to take pleasure from the strength that that vibrator offered him over my system as he dealt with it along with his palms. He failed to like to talk about it together with his friends by any means, but whenever we could, he failed to think twice to take it out for the far more lustful games.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, it is still occurring these days and there are individuals who have not yet understood that in the sex partnership almost everything provides up when you both take it. I, after a long time, although I actually have changed partners often a few things i still do is provide online games and playthings in all my intimate instances. Which tells me i have to consider what things to acquire with me for my day with this unique night.

20 Resources That'll Make You Better at digimon world dawn
Digitize PSP Cheats And Methods ~ Cheathunter
Following a success of Disney's 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Japanese domestic anime market confronted severe pressure from international filmmakers. Nelson Chitty can be a Venezuelan expat residing in Argentina. He's a writer and translator passionate about background and foreign cultures. His ideal weekend is definitely spent between leisurely games of Civilization VI and looking for the next seinen anime to marathon. Not only was it a switch of pace when it comes to the Digimon themselves, however the human heroes also get a lot more tale than most seasons. There are some actual heart-tugging occasions and hints throughout of impending tale beats that produce rewatching a lot of fun.
Honestly, there is little reason to play this title today. Regularity with the parameters established initially by the series redeems Digimon Globe to a certain extent, emboldened in the eye of fans who appreciate simulation type games; however, that is easily one of the worst titles to try and grab today. Online. A players shuffled deck is placed face down right here. Cards drawn into the player's hand are extracted from the Online pile. I love the Assassin's creed series along with both Dead Space games. In modern times, butterflies are extremely common in Japanese anime and manga. Most often, butterflies represent a character's fleeting thoughts or dreams.

Digimon Globe for the PS1 is a great game if you enjoy Tamagotchi style gameplay. You need to raise and train them carefully in fact it is better to follow a information so that you can train the correct stats to make sure your Digimon digivolves into the particular monster you want. Once you have them digivolved you possess a certain amount of gametime before they will die and then you have to retrain the hatched Digimon. The main storyline revolves around you exploring to find a specific Digimon and recruit it back again to the village.
The English dub cast is fantastic and they are the reason I blind bought this anime without seeing it on legal streaming in Japanese. In the movie, Digimon Adventure which was a prelude to the Digimon series, no one knew the way the gateway between the Digital World and real life was activated. All they saw was just a moment when Digimon could travel from one to the other. Pokémon fans will immediately recognise the gameplay method of Best Fiends and can enjoy what it has to offer. When you begin out, you'll have the option between three different starter creatures (audio familiar?), and from there, you will http://www.bbc.co.uk/search?q=digimon start your journey to be the best.
Digimon Globe: Data Squad exists predominately as a tie-in for the recent Digimon: Data Squad anime series, so it shouldn't be too astonishing that the overall game spends short amount of time on character introductions and cuts straight to the flimsy plot. There's a great evil in the digital globe that's causing Digimon to do something all crazy, threatening to break through to the real world, and it's really up to the spiky-haired, androgynous Data Squad to investigate. Making things personal, younger sister of one of the associates of the info Squad, along with a bunch of additional young girls, has gone missing, plus they believe there's a connection. Characters will occasionally pop-up to shout some awkward dialogue, but once all the parts are set, the rest of the game is mostly simply a long, tiresome dungeon crawl.
It's hard to just go through the game at start state and realize the scope of what it was doing, the way that it had been forcing the industry to rethink several long-held assumptions about grouping and leveling. Certainly it wasn't noticeable to the devs at Blizzard, who (if memory serves) implemented the solo-friendly leveling framework because they wished to allow players in to the raiding endgame quicker and more efficiently. It had been only later that they realized just how much people recommended a more accessible framework and what that actually meant for the game's development.
I've only performed the first Digimon Globe, so I have no idea how it prices alongside the others. But I could say it's lots of fun. You teach up your Digimon, travel the island discovering new Digimon to provide to the town which grows the more people join. You must provide copyright attribution in the edit summary accompanying your translation by providing an interlanguage link to the source of your translation. A model attribution edit summary Content material in this edit is normally translated from the existing Russian Wikipedia article at :ru:Digimon Adventure; see its history for attribution.
On the Android side, Google's fiercest competition originates from - who else? - Samsung. The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus had been released at the start of the year, and they utilize the same Snapdragon human brain as both of the PIxel 2s. Beyond that, their expansive Infinity Displays are almost beyond reproach and conveniently outshine the panels Google used this year. Both likewise have excellent cameras, even though I prefer what Google has achieved with the Pixels, the S8s have hook edge in low-light photography. Honestly, the decision boils down to software program: The S8s still run a version of Android 7.0 Nougat painted over with Samsung's custom interface. It's swimming in Samsung apps too, including the lackluster Bixby virtual assistant. Google's cleaner approach, coupled with the guarantee of software updates for three years, can make the Pixels more attractive to some.
I by no means claim this is a blacks versus whites issue. Multiculturalism could be applauded by blacks, since they get black background month, etc etc etc. Nonetheless it was created, promulgated, trained, and defended by whites who are ashamed of their own competition; ashamed by their very own country; and who would like everything America has stood for to become turned upside down-deconstructed. If you feel "popular 'old college' samurai anime," you imagine Rurouni Kenshin. The anime adaptation was manufactured in 1996, and was directed by Furuhashi Kazuhiro. Originally a manga (Japanese comic) series, Rurouni Kenshin follows the tale of Himura Kenshin, a wandering samurai through the Meiji period who utilized to be a skilled assassin working for the Bakumatsu government.
Digimon Globe Championship on the Nintendo DS is sort of like an upgraded type of the original Digimon games that were virtual-pets. You feed and care for your Digimon, and help them digivolve into more powerful forms. Championship is also very, very, VERY dull. There is very little gameplay in this game; your Digimon pals do all your work for you. All you have to to do is be sure that they are taken care of, which isn't exciting whatsoever. Championship looks wonderful for a game on the DS, and it does provide good nostalgia for individuals who grew up with the original Digimon virtual pet playthings. Notwithstanding that, Championship is certainly virtually Digimon for babies.
Stingmon is one of the more recognizable Digimon to anyone who was raised viewing the anime. Stingmon 1st showed up in the anime in Digimon Adventure 2 where he served as an antagonist for the 1st part of the time of year. Although Stingmon seems to be a Digimon with a cool head that's ready to battle at any time, his rookie type Wormmon is certainly a wimp and may never state what's on its mind. One of the major factors that produce Stingmon so cool is the drastic transformation in personality after digivolving. Stingmon's character is a key factor down the road when Stingmon becomes an excellent man and pairs up with his former rival Veemon creating an ideal balance between the two. Stingmon may not become the coolest Digimon on appearance alone, but he is certainly one of the coolest in the Digimon Universe all together.
What does inspire though, may be the video game that accompanies the cartoon. You play it in real life pretty much exactly as you see it performed by the individuals on the TV. Minus the huge battling monsters. The game includes magnetic transforming Bakugan monsters that start out as spheres, but when they encounter the magnetic Gate cards they unfold to reveal the creature inside. If you want to discover ways to play Bakugan, you can try the official website. There are all types of trick shots and in depth strategies you can devise when playing this video game. It's so popular Toys R Us provides been hosting tournaments around the US.
The anime is based on a Capcom video game group of the same name, and takes place during the digimon world 4 agumon digivolutions Sengoku, or the Warring States Period, in Japan. Two young warlords from rivaling regions form an alliance to bring down Oda Nobunaga, the Devil King. A Chinese manhua was written and drawn by Yuen Wong Yu (余 遠鍠 Yu Yuen-wong), who based its storyline on the television series. This adaptation addresses Digimon Experience in five volumes, Digimon Adventure 02 in two, Digimon Tamers in four, and Digimon Frontier in three. The original stories are seriously abridged, though on rare occasions events play out differently compared to the anime.
In Japan, nine Digimon anime movies have been released. Seven of these are related to their anime series. Of the nine all but two have been released worldwide. Ultimate Power! Activate Burst Mode and X-Evolution are the two that have not really been released internationally. Minato Sahashi is an intelligent son, but because of his inability to deal with pressure he's unemployed and failed university exams twice. One day he meets a girl named Musubi, who actually falls from the sky. Minato learns that she is a Sekirei who chose him as her Ashikabi: a human which allows a Sekirei to bring out her full powers and participate in life-threatening battles.

Brave Payments: Could This Be The Future Of Monetization For Content Creators?
Tumblr media
If you’ve visited almost any news site lately, you’ve likely experienced first hand just how broken the online advertising industry is today. We’re talking numerous banner ads, auto-play videos, instream video ads, sponsored posts with somewhat questionable preview images, and more.
Visiting most modern news sites today is basically like stabbing yourself in the eye socket. Your web browser isn’t too happy about it, either, as it usually drives up memory usage on your computer, causing that CPU fan to speed up or even crash your browser.
Visiting most modern news sites today is basically like stabbing yourself in the eye socket. Too many ads!Click To Tweet
These sites didn’t use to be this bad. But, the truth is that they’ve become more and more desperate to drive adequate revenue in an increasingly competitive landscape. Since their entire business model is reliant on ads, the only way to increase revenue is to pack the site with more ads.
Here’s a quick shot of a random visit to CNN:
Tumblr media
If you scroll down on CNN, a huge chunk of the bottom of every story is full of sponsored placement.
And, have you ever been to a blog and been sucker-punched with crap like this?
I mean, there’s some quality stuff that just makes your blog seem really reputable. You must be so freakin’ proud.
You’ve also got a whole swath of more independent news sites coming up. Some of them are more questionable than others, of course.
Tumblr media
But, they find themselves in the same situation. So, they just jam-pack their sites with every ad they can find. Many of them are just embarrassing for the owners of those sites.
Not only is it not a good look, but you’re basically just assaulting your visitors.
The Ad Industry Is Broken
There’s no doubt that the online advertising industry is big. In fact, estimates are that around $160 billion will have been spent on digital advertising in 2018. We’ll see where those numbers come in, but there’s certainly a lot of money sloshing around. And publishers want their share.
There is also a LOT of fraud, though. Juniper Research estimates that about 9% of all revenue generated in online advertising is due to fraud. That’s over $19 billion annually in fraud alone. Things like click fraud are rampant.
There’s also a thousand middlemen in this space. For every ad you might see online, there is a whole patchwork of middlemen between you and the original advertiser. All these middleman need their share of the revenue, and all of them do their own tracking. Before you know it, your web browser is being sent MULTIPLE tracking cookies from companies you’ve never even heard of… all to load down a couple of banners on some blog you’re visiting. And, of course, track your activity.
And two of the biggest middlemen of them all are Google and Facebook. Estimates are that these two companies alone take about 73% of all ad dollars… and about 99% of all growth. They’re monopolizing it… and your data.
So, what’s going on is that the ad industry is growing, but it is also on a flawed course that will need to be corrected.
There is a massive amount of fraud. It is being overly centralized by Google and Facebook. All these advertising companies and the middlemen need data. YOUR data. So, they do whatever they have to do to gather as much data about YOU as possible. Publishers are held hostage. If they want to increase revenue, they have to jam more ads onto their sites, accept questionable ads, and stuff more and more tracking cookies onto visitor web browsers.
The course that the industry is on isn’t really sustainable. That’s because people are punching back…
The Rise In Demand For Privacy
In the end, the consumer is always in control. And, come to find out, most people aren’t huge fans of their information being used for advertising purposes, or in having their browser smashed by ads and tracking cookies.
There’s a war on.
It is a war between this hungry industry of online advertising, and the end user who just wants to be left alone.
There’s a war on. It is a war between the hungry industry of online advertising, and the end user who just wants to be left alone.Click To Tweet
One survey in 2017 showed that as much as 40% of all US users use ad blocking. Another survey showed about 31% use ad blocking. Whatever the real number is, that’s quite a lot of people who are just throwing up the hand and blocking ads.
Some news sites fight back against this. If they detect an ad blocker, they will just block you from viewing the content unless you allow the ads.
In some cases, they offer subscription options to exempt you from the ads. I don’t envy their position. I fully understand that they need to make money, but I also understand why many consumers are blocking those ads and likewise might not be willing to pay for their content.
So, there is indeed a war on. And there are 3 parties either being incentivized by their own motives:
Advertisers and the army of middlemen are incentivized to be as interruptive as possible as well as track everything you do so as to make the ads more effective. Publishers are incentivized to pack their sites with more ads so as to increase revenue End users are incentivized to block ads in order to safeguard themselves from the increasing onslaught
This isn’t a war which is solvable without a different model. We’ll get to that.
But, there’s another issue on top of all that…
The Dangers of Centralization (And Google And Facebook Controlling Most Advertising)
Another huge problem in this industry is that Google and Facebook have become absolute behemoths in terms of gatekeepers. They take about 73% of all ad revenue. This means that publishers feel forced to play by their rules if they want to make any money.
This kind of centralization is dangerous, though.
When either Google or Facebook changes their ad rules or even makes a tweak to their algorithm, it can potentially have a very large impact on site traffic and, hence, site revenue. This leads to a lot of publishers who totally change their content strategy specifically to tailor to these networks.
One of the dangers to this is in the world of news. Since they need Facebook to survive, they have to create content that is designed to perform well on Facebook and other social networks. What gets the clicks? Sensationalism, clickbait, headlines that are designed to spark anger and emotion. And so we get “news” that isn’t really news, but is instead supposed to piss you off or get you entrenched into some emotional battle. The goal is that you’ll hit the share button and drive up their ad views.
What gets the clicks? Sensationalism, clickbait, headlines that are designed to spark anger and emotion. Fake news is a business model.Click To Tweet
If you want to know why news seems more polarized, why fake news sites have become a thing, and why memes and clickbait headlines seem to be the norm… this is why. It is a business model. The truth can be boring sometimes. Controversy makes more money and “us vs them” battles motivate people like nothing else.
Content quality drops as a result… and it becomes harder and harder to find good, solid information online.
Another danger is de-platforming. There have been many sites out there that Google and/or Facebook just deemed inappropriate and they just get banned. Unfortunately, this seems to be more common in sites that lean politically conservative. It has also happened to some sites that discuss health topics.
When the major gatekeepers of traffic these days just collectively BAN you from their networks due to your content, that is called de-platforming. Sure, your site still exists, but it is much harder for anybody to find you. And you can’t make money with ads and, for many publishers that would be a death knell.
It is a very dangerous situation. It would be easy to turn a blind eye to it… or just to accept the patent excuse that such sites were engaging in “fake news” or “hate speech”. But, in many cases, they were doing no such thing.
So, do we have freedom of speech online or do we not?
The centralization of the internet around a handful of companies is very dangerous to the future of the internet.Click To Tweet
Truthfully, no. The centralization of the internet around a handful of companies is very dangerous to the future of the internet. And these companies are basically black boxes as we don’t really know why they make some of the moves they do.
We need a better way.
Decentralizing the Internet. And An Intriguing Solution…
One thing is for sure…
The internet will be undergoing a transformation. While the trend has been toward more and more centralization and more middlemen, there are huge waves happening that I believe will radically transform and decentralize the internet.
The technology that will spur these very large changes is known as blockchain.
If “blockchain” isn’t a term you’ve heard, then you’ve probably heard of Bitcoin. Blockchain is the technology behind Bitcoin, however the applications of blockchain go way beyond a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin.
It is basically a distributed database that is immune to being hacked because it is distributed everywhere. Remember the scene in the movie “V for Vendetta” where all those people were wearing the same mask so they couldn’t get the person? It’s like that. It’s everywhere, so it can’t be taken down. It’d be like a game of whack-a-mole.
That’s blockchain, in an uber-simple version. Plus, it takes care of the issue of trust. It is verifiable trust without a third party.
Blockchain isn’t just about currency like Bitcoin. It is also about applications. Ethereum is all about decentralized apps. You’ve got apps like Storj, which is distributed storage that could rival Amazon S3 (while not being controlled by a middleman like Amazon).
On top of all this, you’ve got the currencies and token that are part of the whole crypto-scene. What it does is puts INCENTIVE into the system. It was (and still is) that the Facebooks, Googles and Amazons could out-incentive the smaller companies. This is what led to things becoming so centralized to begin with.
But, the tokens in these various blockchain-powered systems provide economic incentive to DECENTRALIZE. In many of these systems, the tokens are required to use the system. So, to power an app on the Ethereum network, you need some ETH (the token of the network).
Now, add to all this the exchangeability of these tokens. Where you can move one token into another, via a decentralized exchange. It all becomes economically viable. The incentive to decentralize outweighs the value that the big juggernauts like Google can provide. It is a new internet of value, with trust built-in.
If you’ve ever used BitTorrent, what I’m talking about is kinda like that. It is distributed, so it can’t be shut down.
But, in the case of these various blockchains, there will be a built-in incentive. And human nature is to use that which provides the greatest award.
You’re also going to see technologies come in which allow these various blockchains to communicate to one another easily. Sort of like how TCP/IP protocol enabled the internet to blossom. The “internet” was a bunch of separated bulletin boards before the TCP/IP protocol came around and gave everything a common “language”. The internet, as we know it today, began with that. It will happen in the world of blockchain, too.
It will dethrone Google and Facebook and those big corporations currently in control. Not out of any force… but just simple economic incentive.
I don’t know what the whole thing will look like. But, I think the writing is on the wall.
I think, eventually, we’ll be selling our stuff online for cryptocurrency much more commonly.
I think the current domain-name system which is controlled by ICANN is going to be replaced with a de-centralized system.
I think the current model of centralized hosting resources is going to be replaced by one, distributed cloud. Perhaps powered by an internet of things, decentralized storage, and decentralized computing power. The days of denial of service attacks will be over because it’d be a useless game of whack-a-mole. No point to attack.
Issues of censorship become a moot point because no single company controls the pipeline.
But, what does any of this have to do with privacy and online advertising?
A Blockchain Solution To Privacy And Ad Overload
I recently came across a project that I think could be quite promising as a way out of the invasions of privacy and being assaulted with too many ads. It was created by the co-founder of the Mozilla Foundation and the creator of the javascript programming language. In other words, this isn’t some fly-by-night thing.
It is called Brave.
On the surface, Brave is a web browser. One that respects your privacy and puts you in control of the tracking that websites are able to do on you. The browser is also quite fast and it is a real pleasure to use.
It is insanely effective at blocking the crap, too. Since I used CNN as an example above, look at what happens when I pull up CNN inside of Brave:
30 damn ads and trackers being blocked just from visiting the CNN homepage. Amazing!
But, what does Brave have to do with banner ads? Well, Brave is about much more than merely a web browser. It is about an entirely different structure to the internet advertising economy. It removes the middleman between the end user and the publisher.
At the core is a cryptocurrency known as Basic Attention Token (BAT).
As an end user, you would have BAT in your wallet. Then, you have the option to reward those publishers who you want to support and who you pay attention to. Soon, you will also earn BAT by viewing ads.
Essentially, this is a network designed around ATTENTION. One that rewards publishers who do a good job because you are paying attention to them. One that rewards users for viewing advertising. But, all of it is in YOUR control. If you don’t want to look at ads or pay any publishers, that’s your call. And nowhere in the transaction is your personal data exposed.
Basic Attention Token is a way out. It removes the middlemen and puts YOU in control of your own “attention dollars”.
In many ways, it is similar to the U.S. Healthcare market. Our costs here are utterly ridiculous because of a thousand middlemen between us and medical providers. And on top of that, you have law coming in and enforcing this screwed-up system under the threat of penalty. Talk about removing all choice! If we could de-centralize the whole healthcare model and re-connect providers with consumers, costs would drop substantially.
This is what BAT – and the Brave browser – is attempting to do to online advertising.
How To (Potentially) Make Money With Brave And BAT?
Now, I want to be clear…
We’re still quite early in the lifecycle of Brave and the Basic Attention Token. So, I wouldn’t expect this to make you a millionaire right now.
Tumblr media
However, I think it is a good idea to get started with this early as I do think there’s a lot of growth ahead for BAT.
To get started, you need to register as a publisher on Brave Payments network. This will allow you to accept funds into your own wallet which is tied to your site’s domain. You will need to enter your email address.
Once you’re in, you’ll want to “Add Channel” so that you can add your blog.
You can add a website, a Youtube channel, and a Twitch channel. This means that not only can you potentially earn BAT from your blog, but you can also earn BAT with your Youtube account or Twitch.
Choose “Website” then enter the domain of your blog. Next, you’ll need to verify that you’re the owner of the site.

7 Key Stats That Point to the Future of Marketing
I just read that in the year 2100, Nigeria will be the 2nd most populous country. And that by 2100, populations will plunge a lot across what we call the  “developed world” (hate that term – it’s so condescending isn’t it?)
Statistics can help us see into (and plan) for the future. This is true for life and one of my favorite things to do for marketing. Recently, we looked at quotes from CMOs and influencers on the future of marketing.
Now let’s look at some of the hard data. so you can plot the right marketing strategy for your team’s future.
Traditional market research often falls short when new technology and new ideas have the potential to become game-changers. With today’s tech-driven world, then, marketers must look for developments that are possible — and promise huge impact.
The future of marketing, it would seem, must include a futurist’s intuition, a dash of creativity, and the ability to see what can lie ahead. When it comes to marketing, fortune indeed favors the bold.
Quick Takeaways:
Diversity is not a political issue. It’s a fact. So open your culture to a diverse workforce, and leveraging that knowledge.
Optimize all your marketing for mobile, emphasizing geolocation and AI-enabled suggestions.
Keep an eye out for new trends and technologies that can streamline your marketing strategy.
Use these statistics as your springboard into innovation.
1. Millennials Will Not Compose 75% of the Future Workforce
Conventional wisdom has pounded the point home that by 2025 (or in some versions of the myth, by 2030), millennials will become three-fourths of the nation’s workforce. As Anita Lettink shows, that old saw is a bit of a myth.
Blame a few fuzzy data in a 2011 study. And the chorus of otherwise sensible publications — including PWC, Brookings, EY, Deloitte, Allianz, and the World Economic Forum, to name a few — echoed the tune.
Marketers glommed onto it, plotting their future strategy on its gospel truth. If you read marketing publications as much as I do, you’ve seen your fair share of blog posts, white papers, and videos that reference it.
Certainly, millennials will become a driving force in tomorrow’s workplace. However, they’ve already maxed out their presence in the workforce, as Lettink points out.
Generation Z, she shows, will rise in numbers among the nation’s workers. In fact, unless plenty of 65-plus workers buck today’s trend of staying on the job longer, millennials won’t likely even reach the 50 percent mark.

For marketers, this myth-busting fact means that they’ll need to diversify their approach to reach every generation.
It makes my case for personalizing content, doesn’t it?
When you personalize content for every segment of your target customer base, you’ll be sure to hit the mark every time.
2. A Billion New Consumers in Emerging Countries Will Tip the CPG Market Balance
A McKinsey report predicts that the growth of consumer packaged goods (CPG) outside the traditional West foreshadows an overseas boom, particularly in Asia. With US soda brands bringing in over half their revenue from outside the country, other CPG brands have leaped into the fray.
Their collective revenue has caught the attention of investors, driving CPG stocks to outperform the S&P — and even high-tech industries, such as IT, telecom, and energy. With a 10-percent rise in shareholder returns over the past 25 years, this industry shows no sign of stopping.
In fact, CPG industry leaders have upped the ante on innovation, anticipating changes to maintain their lead. Their move outside the West continues that drive. With a billion new consumers emerging from non-Western, largely Asian, markets, it looks to be a savvy move.
Marketers would be wise to create content that appeals to Asian and other markets in emerging nations. Hiring locals who know the nuances of the language is critical to avoiding “lost-in-translation” moments.
Creating an internal culture that celebrates diversity across the global enterprise shouldn’t only be HR’s responsibility. Your marketing team should take the lead in communicating that openness.
Last year alone, CPG online sales in the U.S. totaled $58.6 billion, which accounts for 11% of total CPG retail sales.
3. The Role of the Digital Consumer Will Continue to Rise
That same McKinsey study reported that in 2010, the percentage of online CPG purchases was already at six percent. It’s now at 11 percent and rising.
I’d bet good money that the shift to digital during the current pandemic will cause this number to rise even faster. As people become used to the convenience of ordering online, it doesn’t take a crystal ball to see that consumers won’t be likely to give up that advantage.
For marketers, this development means that they’ll need to invest more time and money in understanding potential customers and their needs. Audience and content analytics will rise in importance, as will detailed enterprise content marketing strategies that deliver on business goals and ROI.
Social listening will become even more important, as will user-generated content. As consumers do more research online, they’ll depend more on what others say about your products and services.
An overwhelming number of consumers (70 percent) already depend on user reviews for information about products and services. That number will only rise as they turn online to do business.
4. Mobile Commerce Will Rise to 44 Percent of Digital Commerce by 2024
What Zenith Media once dubbed the “I-Street” will shift increasingly to mobile in the coming years. In fact, the Business Insider intelligence team believes that mobile commerce will become 44 percent of all digital transactions by 2024.
The reason: convenience. From voice search to delivery and everything in between, a consumer can shop and buy practically anything right from the palm of their hand.
Content marketing needs to lead this transformation. They must:
Optimize everything from static web content to blog posts for mobile consumption, including natural-language searches.
Personalize mobile messaging.
Create intuitive, seamless mobile experiences that make it easy for people to research and buy from a mobile device.
Use in-store messaging to assist customers in finding what they need at a price they want to pay.
5. Virtual Reality Will Likely Generate Nearly $2 Billion in Revenue in 2022
As futurist Blake Morgan points out, virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) will rise in importance during the next few years. Studies project that the technology will do about $1.8 billion in business during 2022. Consumers are steadily adopting more and more AR and VR applications.
Even for B2B companies, VR will account for 40 percent of their buyer experiences by 2022. The trend shows no sign of stopping, nor should it. Studies show that it slashes garment returns by 25 percent. And, a majority of customers are more likely to buy products or services from a brand that offers them a VR experience.
To prepare for the future of VR marketing, content teams should plan now to get ahead of the game. Using 3D videos and photos, live videos, 3D models, and simulations should be a central part of their digital marketing strategy.
6. Artificial Intelligence Looks to Double Developed Countries’ Economic Growth by 2035
Imagine what your team could accomplish if they could hand over most of their customer research to a machine? According to Morgan, if artificial intelligence (AI) usage continues to grow at its current pace, quite a bit.
Studies indicate that the time and effort AI can save will double the economic growth in developed countries by 2035. Even by 2022, Morgan says, AI will replace many of the tasks of data analysts, freeing them to work on other tasks.
Imagine what even this one application could do for your content team. Combine that advantage with AI’s personalization and predictive capabilities, and you could double your productivity.
Now imagine what this application of AI technology could accomplish on a global scale. And that’s just marketing.
It’s no wonder futurists predict an economic growth spurt. If your content team isn’t leveraging the power of AI, it’s time to start.
7. Geolocation Marketing Looks to Reach $38.1 Billion in 2025
The benefits of geotargeting are indisputable.
Life’s about to get real for all those marketers who thought all they had to do was write “best plumber in Pittsburgh” and sprinkle that phrase at awkward places in every post they write.
Today’s geolocation allows content teams to pinpoint their audience’s location exactly.
Just think of the possibilities.
Dynamic content: In the case of our Pittsburgh plumber, their content could suggest water treatment for those areas around town that have trouble with lime and rust deposits. Customers in high-end neighborhoods might get suggestions about instant hot water installations, and so on.
Shopping suggestions: Geolocation can tell a shoe store, for instance, that a shoe-addicted fashionista is in the area. Automated messaging can alert that potential customer that the store is offering a two-for-one deal on sizzling Ferragamo flats. Or, to get the jump on the competition, that shoe store can send messages to shoe lovers while they’re in a competitor’s store.
Precise location-based search results: The future of location-based searches takes yesterday’s “best X in Y” searches to a whole new level, thanks to mobile technology and voice-based searches. Content marketers can use keywords in a whole new way — to answer questions — to become the one Google suggests when potential customers are out and about.
And much more. It’s no wonder that studies project that geolocation marketing will reach over a $38 billion spend by 2025.
For marketers, it pays to have one eye on the now and another firmly focused on the future. Putting these key trends to work for your business is a strategic place to stars.

How the Pandemic is Driving Innovation in Sports Business
July 13, 2020 7 min read
Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.
The global health crisis has turned the world upside down, impacting every aspect of life. Social distancing is part of our “new normal. It’s proven to be the most effective way to limit the virus’ spread. Unfortunately, it has also had negative consequences for the sports industry. It’s affected everyone from the fans, athletes and broadcasters, to sports sponsors, arenas, retailers, universities, and every vendor that supports them.
The pandemic is an international health emergency that has killed tens of thousands of people and sent shockwaves around the world, plunging the global economy into the sharpest decline in modern history.
It all started for the sports industry in the second week of March, when the 2020 NBA season was canceled due to a sudden spike in positive cases among the athletes who were tested. The NCAA’s signature event, March Madness, was canceled shortly after. Professional leagues everywhere followed suit by suspending their seasons, disappointing fans around the world. Next came the one-year postponement of one of the world’s most-anticipated sports broadcasts, the Summer Olympics in Tokyo. And the cancellations keep coming.
An estimated $471 billion in revenue was generated globally by the sports industry in 2018, a 45 percent increase since 2011. But the coronavirus put a stop to that momentum. With so much money riding on this value chain, the industry had to find ways to innovate. Anything longer than a temporary shutdown would prevent the leagues from meeting their financial commitments to broadcasters. The immediate impact of no games would mean no TV deals, and no gameday income. No income could eventually bankrupt the teams.
Deepening the content pool
With these factors in mind, how has the industry strategically responded to this disruption? The sports industry is capitalizing on the recent spike in media consumption. In the absence of live games, broadcasters like Fox Sports and ESPN were charged with finding a way to keep viewers engaged. This meant deepening the pool of sports content available to fans. Everything from classic games, to documentaries, archived content and esports competitions have become a part of broadcast lineups.

I reached out to Jeff Heckman, Global Director of E-Commerce of TOPPS about how they have pivoted business around the impact of COVID-19. After all, what’s more quintessential to sports then trading cards? “Our Topps NOW product releases are based on capturing the top moments in sports as they happen,” Heckman told me when we spoke. “Once the seasons were postponed, we had to pivot to offer Topps NOW MLB cards based on historical moments. We called it Topps NOW Turn Back the Clock and we offer one new card per day.  Luckily for us, we had been working on a new concept called Project 2020 where 20 top artists reimagine 20 iconic baseball cards.  Each day 2 new Project 2020 cards launch on topps.com.  We hoped to have a big kick-off event to launch Project 2020 but we had to scrap these plans due to Covid-19.  We now focus our efforts on creating digital content to support Project 2020 that we release each night on social media.  Lastly, we had a number of in-person sessions planned this spring with athletes like Bryce Harper, Ronda Rousey and Derek Jeter to capture content that ultimately would get used to develop new card products.  We had to shift to zoom calls and our team was able to adjust the video creation process to still create compelling pieces that we are running on our digital platforms.”
Directo to consumer scores big
Direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels such as Game Pass have managed to fill the gap left by traditional networks, which structure their main programming around the evening primetime schedule. For example, the NFL has made every game since 2009 available on its direct-to-consumer channel, Game Pass. This strategy has dramatically increased daily sign-ups over the past few months. Industry analysts expect rapid adoption of D2C channels to be a key transformational trend in the sports industry, as many will stick with them once the pandemic subsides.
As consumers begin to adapt to this “new normal” in sports broadcasting, the decline in cable television will be accelerated, thereby reducing the broadcasters’ ability to earn ad revenue, and ultimately their buying power to purchase sports’ rights. As this fragmentation continues, leagues will look to their in-house teams to make smaller content deals with digital players, such as Amazon, whose Prime Video service has successfully live-streamed the UK’s Premier League’s games.

Esports accelerates
Esports is another strategy that has transformed the sports industry, particularly the NBA. According to Mark Tatum, the NBA’s COO and Deputy Commissioner, esports like their NBA 2K competition have become a huge draw for fans, with players streaming from their homes. In addition to airing classic games every evening, they have used social media to host live quarantine parties with current and former NBA players – anything to keep their fans engaged during this time.
Millions of fans around the world are looking for content, and according to Tatum, “Our broadcasting partners are really understanding and we’re working with them on different forms of content. It’s not just the NBA, it’s all live sports…”
Another innovation from the NBA, in partnership with Turner Sports, was the removal of a paywall for League Pass, their subscription streaming service. By making payment options more flexible, their service has become attractive to a much broader fan base. MLB.TV and YouTube are doing the same thing for Major League Baseball. The traditional revenue structure from live television broadcasting looks a lot different when games are played without live audiences, but it is important to keep players safe too. One option would involve isolating entire teams, along with their management staff, into a single area. MLB is rumored to be doing this.
The sports leagues’ reliance on television broadcasters, and the reliance of those broadcasters on ad revenue, has been laid bare in this era of COVID-19. It has made clear the need for diverse income streams. Some of these new revenue models could include live monetization, such as gambling and gamified viewership, where viewers pay extra for in-depth statistical analysis, fan commentary, and other digital items.
How and when will live sports return to normal, pre-pandemic levels, for fans? Even two months in, there are many more questions than answers. Considering the unprecedented nature of the coronavirus, sports insiders have sought wisdom from the experts.
Flexibility is the winning strategy
I reached out to one such expert, Jim O’Connell President of Athletes First Partners, for comment on what his business is doing to adjust.  As a new division of their primary sports agency business, AFP focuses on sales and marketing agency for intellectual property holders and athletes. “The assets that strategically fit into partnerships have changed with the pandemic,” O’Connell told me. “For the time being, there are certain elements of sponsorships that aren’t realistic. Live events, appearances such as autograph sessions or meet and greets don’t make sense.  Social activation, including self generated content, is a much bigger focus right now. The bottom line is we need to be flexible in what we sell and strategically push the most appropriate assets.”

With the advent of hyper-casual, cross-platform, multiplayer online battle arena games (MOBAs) and live stream culture, a gaming phone is more relevant than ever before. But from the Nokia N-gage days to recent past, this has been a stumbling pursuit and brushed off as pointless. However, that hasn’t stopped a few brands like Nubia, who are steadfast in their resolve. Accordingly, we have come across “truly” gaming smartphones, like the one in this review, that claim a competitive advantage over their mainstream counterparts.
The Nubia Red Magic 3S was launched in India in the latter half of the year. It might have flown under your radar, partly since 2019 witnessed a glut of quality smartphones. Secondly, this ZTE associate is a fairly lesser-known brand in the country. Nonetheless, when the device came across my hands, I decided to give it a try. In fact, I’ve been putting it to the test since then.
So, if it piques the gamer gene in you to know whether this should be a part of your gaming setup, read along. I’ll be sharing my experience over the course of this review.
But before we delve into details, let’s get the specs out of our way.
Nubia Red Magic 3S Price and Specifications
Model Nubia Red Magic 3S Display 6.65-inches, 1080 x 2340 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio, AMOLED, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR support Processor 2.96 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor with Adreno 640 GPU RAM + Internal Storage 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage Expandable Memory No Software Android 9 Pie Selfie Camera 16MP (f/2.0 aperture) Rear Camera 48MP (f/1.7 aperture) Battery 5000mAh with 27W fast charging support SIM Dual SIM (Nano + Nano-SIM) Connectivity Dual VoLTE support, Bluetooth v5.0, WiFi 802.11ac, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, and USB OTG Sensors Proximity, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Fingerprint sensor Colors Mecha Silver and Cyber Shade India Price Rs. 35,999/ Rs. 47,999

Nubia Red Magic 3S Review: Design and Build
It’s like the Nubia designers let their imagination run wild and came up with this polarizing look. The design resembles something inspired by the Transformers, the movie franchise. Build-wise, it’s a metallic stout that weighs around 215 grams, which is slippery and a bit unwieldy.
But the make is mused over and it’s more than what meets the eye. The choice of metal over glass means better heat dissipation. Although the convex-shaped base acts as a rocking chair when placed on a surface, it offers a nice hold. Rest, everything from the slightly jutting diamond-shaped rear camera to the air intake grill, fingerprint scanner, RBG strip to the logo feels sauce!
To the right, you get two touch-sensitive triggers, an exhaust vent, volume rockers, and the power button. While the left side has the Game Space switch, SIM-card tray, and the connector for the dock station. Nubia has given both a USB-C socket and a 3.5mm audio jack – things we no longer take for granted.
Now, the fancy elements of the Nubia design DNA might very well throw off a casual user. But, Nubia’s aesthetic choices, for all intents and purposes, do stand out from the crowd.
Nubia Red Magic 3S Review: Display & Audio
Nubia Red Magic display keeps up with the times. The FHD+ AMOLED panel supports the 90Hz refresh rate. The panel measure 6.65-inches diagonally with an 18:9 aspect ratio. There’s HDR support too.
Needless to say, the display is smooth but the higher refresh rate does cut back on the battery life. Now, if you try to bring it down to 60Hz, you wouldn’t find the option right away. Dig deeper into the Game Space settings, there’s an option to toggle between 60 and 90 hertz. But mind you, this is not applied system-wide, which defeats the point.
The screen legibility is fine at 480 nits under both sun and shade. However, while kept in comparison to some of its peers, we felt it could’ve been a wee bit brighter and sharper. Then there were times when the touch wasn’t as responsive as I wanted it to be. The long presses on the home screen or app drawer to open the menu or drag and drop items went undetected. Call it a one-off thing or even a software bug, but it was weird what so ever. Also, it only has support for Widevine L3 which means you can stream Netflix and Prime in 480p resolution only. Oof!
As for the sound, Red Magic sports dual front-firing speakers. The audio output is alright in terms of loudness and texture. The same is true for headphone sound staging. While I was testing the Skullcandy Sesh (review), the output was clearly finer on the OnePlus 7T (review).
Nubia Red Magic 3S Review: Camera
While the industry is pacing to place more and more cameras on their phones, Nubia has stuck to two shooters, one on either side. There’s a 16-megapixel shooter on the front and a 48-megapixel sensor at the back. The camera app is pretty straight forward with an easy to use interface. It comes with a dedicated macro mode, night mode, 48MP mode, and video recording up to 8K (although limited to 15fps), amongst other features.
However, when it comes to real-world performance, the camera pales grossly. The photos lack the detail, texture, and life you expect. In a similar vein, the selfies are gloomy, especially while taken indoor. The faces look overly softened. Lack of OIS means the videos come out jittery. The case is similar when it comes to the Slomo feature. Although it boasts 1920 fps, the result is choppy. Even missing basics like native portrait mode is not appreciated in 2019-20.
Here are some camera samples for your reference –

Nubia Red Magic 3S Review: Gaming & Battery Life
Performance is the strongest suit of Red Magic 3S. After all, it’s a gaming phone. It is engined by a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. Nubia has slapped stock-ish Android on top. This means a bloat-free and smooth experience. But, on the other hand, some of you might not like the baseline AOSP and find it a lil too bland.
But if you ask me, it was right up my alley. The skin is bloat-free, smooth and responsive. Two things that really irked me were – the persistent ‘SIM1 is HD capable‘ notification and every time I tap mobile data QS tile, it took a moment to respond. Oo Yes, gesture navigation and system-wide dark mode are also heavily missed here. For some weird reason, the given Dark Theme failed to work. Plus, Android 9 feels dated when its peers like Asus ROG Phone 2 (review) are already enqueued for the latest Android 10.
The software also plays a big part in the gaming experience. For instance, the Game Space lets you manage your games in one place. It can be toggled on or off using the hardware switch on the top left corner. You can control the fan cooling speed and other game settings, track the performance, block calls and notifications for a focussed gaming session. You even get an option to customize the RGB LED strip at the back.
Here’s a quick rundown its special gaming features –
4D customizable vibrations, the shoulder triggers, action button, and even the fingerprint reader enhances the control and command over the games.
The light strip (which is BTW customizable) might appeal to anyone who’s a sucker for the RGB light.
A second-generation ICE liquid cooling coupled with an actual fan does a good job in heat dissipation.

Red Magic 3S’s impressive performance is reflected in the run of the mill benchmark scores as well –
Benchmark  Score AnTuTu 4,95,238 Geekbench Compute OpenCL score 2750 Geekbench Score Single-core 788 Geekbench 5 multi-core 2455 3D Mark Sling Shot Extreme OpenGL ES 6233 3D Mark Sligh Shot Extreme Vulkan 5417
While we are discussing benchmarks, let me interject the storage read and write speeds that have significantly improved on the 3S over its predecessor. Thank Nubia for adopting UFS 3.0 standard and hence the phone manages to hit following R/W speeds –
Sequential Read: 1470.59 MB/s
Sequential Write: 221.84 MB/s
Random Read: 162.31 MB/s
Random Write: 132.46 MB/s
It can handle prolonged heavy loads with no throttling or hiccups. The active cooling via a fan and liquid cooling via the vapor chamber does make a difference. The great replay value it offers is courtesy of that capacious 5K mAh battery. It’s capable of squeezing out two-day worth juice on normal use. And even with long game hours, you are less likely to feel range-anxiety. I just wished it had supported a faster charging. An 18W adapter feels a mismatch for the big battery. Moreover, the bundled power brick feels a little cheap too.

Nubia Red Magic 3S Review: Verdict
Reviewing a gaming phone is a tad different than judging conventional phones. A gamer values and nitpicks on things that would hardly bother the mainstream audience. I state my case with Nubia’s design philosophy. Although the phone is a safe bet on the performance front, you can’t blame one for wishing a less garish look and better ergonomics. Similarly, Nubia could’ve cooked a polished software experience and given versatile and dependable cameras.
The magic it conjures up whilst gaming is appealing for sure. But if that doesn’t excite you, there is hardly anything worth aspiring. At the starting price of Rs. 35,999, one does have more than “good enough” flagship killers. If you can shell out a bit more, there you have the ROG Phone 2.
Nubia Red Magic 3S Review With the advent of hyper-casual, cross-platform, multiplayer online battle arena games (MOBAs) and live stream culture, a gaming phone is more relevant than ever before.

Making a list of the decade’s most important and influential gadgets is, in a word, illuminating — and that’s before you factor in all the LEDs. Over the last 10 years, thousands of products have been released, and while some are definitely “cooler” than others, their impact on the past decade, and the decade to come, is by no means identical.
Each gadget tells the story of a new way of thinking, a slow-moving paradigm shift set to change the way we approach the personal technology we interact with on a daily basis. Sure, you might not know what a Raspberry Pi is, but its impact on industries like robotics and home automation has been massive. Unfamiliar with the Adaptive Controller? That’s OK! But the elegantly executed idea has opened up a world of delight for gamers with disabilities. Think drones are just for shooting vacation footage? Think again — and watch your head.
Technology exists to augment the human condition, to make people smarter, better, and ultimately, more human. From smartphones and drones to consoles and cars, the past decade has more than enough life-changing devices to choose from. Here are TIME’s picks for the most important gadgets of the decade.
Apple iPad (2010)
Before the iPad’s introduction in 2010, the idea of a “tablet computer” was mostly relegated to slick science fiction movies and unwieldy laptop-adjacent monstrosities running terrible software. Apple’s iPad — like the iPhone before it — resulted in a cultural shift for personal computing, and set the tone for the next decade of portable devices. Its impressive multitouch display, complete abandonment of physical keys, and gargantuan selection of software and media created a perfect storm of entertainment that everyone could get on board with. And while competitors have had ample time to make laptops or detachable two-in-one computers to attack the iPad’s biggest pain points, Apple has continuously advanced the platform’s iPadOS and hardware (Apple Pencil, anyone?), making any nerd optimistic about the next decade of tablet computing.
Tesla Model S (2012)
Think cars can’t be gadgets? Then you haven’t driven a Tesla Model S — or watched one drive up to you. The electric sedan has slowly reshaped the trajectory of the automotive industry, forcing competitors to embrace a battery-powered future instead of the gas-guzzling present, and challenging the belief that electric cars can’t be cool. Features like downloadable software updates, a huge touchscreen display and advanced autopilot capabilities make it feel like a vehicle from 2022 instead of 2012. Think of the Tesla Model S as the iPod of cars — if your iPod could do zero to 60 in 2.3 seconds.
Raspberry Pi (2012)
At first glance, the Raspberry Pi looks more like a component that fell off the space station. But take a closer look at the miniature Linux computer, originally made for promoting coding in schools, and you’ll find a wide-ranging community in love with the blank slate it provides. To get started you’ll need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. But once you’re plugged in, the possibilities are endless. Since its debut, a vibrant DIY ecosystem has sprung up around the Raspberry Pi, making it the go-to gadget for tinkerers, engineers, and that one relative you always call whenever your Wi-Fi is on the fritz. Sure, you can use it to learn to code, but it’s got the range to handle everything from robotics and home automation to entertainment. Makers and accessory manufacturers have turned the tiny boxes into everything your budding engineer brain can think of: weather stations, retro game consoles, smart speakers, cloud servers, the whole nine yards. After seven years on the market, and with over 25 million units sold, the Raspberry Pi is a tinkerer’s dream come true.
Google Chromecast (2013)
Google’s Chromecast, released in 2013, made it dead simple to beam media from your laptop or smartphone to your TV, helping popularize the very concept of streaming. It bridged the gap for people who wanted a piece of the future without investing in a pricey smart TV, or spending over a hundred bucks on some expensive and gaudy streaming box. At $35, Chromecast democratized streaming while giving users an integral piece of smart home connectivity for cheap. Now, the platform is capable of streaming more than media; Google’s added support for its game-streaming Stadia service to its more powerful Chromecast Ultra devices. It might not be an essential piece of technology in the decade to come, but the Chromecast’s influence on streaming media can’t be understated.
DJI Phantom (2013)
While you might hear a drone before you see it, chances are you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what it sees, and how cool the view is a few hundred feet in the air. And of all the footage-capturing drones around, DJI’s Phantom is the most recognizable — and the most popular drone on YouTube. Its signature all-white design makes it hard to miss, and the company’s dedication to making drone piloting as simple as possible has made the Phantom an easy choice for beginning pilots, and a satisfying tool for aerial photography. And this is only the beginning. There’s already a professional drone racing league, and with companies betting on drones to handle everything from shipping goods to construction to surveillance, you’re bound to interact with more than a few in the decade to come.
Amazon Echo (2014)
Talking to yourself is still a little odd, but talking to your voice assistant has become a common activity in homes worldwide thanks to Amazon’s Alexa, the voice assistant built into its Echo devices and other smart home gadgets. Voice assistants are the new kid on the block, ideal for managing your smart home devices, handling media playback or quickly communicating with friends and family. Amazon’s Echo smart speaker and Alexa voice assistant is one of the most popular, with over 100 million Alexa-enabled devices sold as of 2019. As the first of its kind, Alexa blazed a trail for the multiple competitors trying to sell you on their own voice assistants to varying degrees of success. While convenient, though, the proliferation of devices like the Echo has spurred controversy surrounding the data collection practices of smart device manufacturers, becoming one of the most high-profile privacy issues of our time.
Apple Watch (2015)
While many have tried, no one has been able to match the polish and performance of the Apple Watch, which set the standard for what a smartwatch could do. Since its introduction in 2015, it’s gone from a device for early adopters and fashion-deficient nerds to a mainstream accessory, thanks to its smart software and ever-improving hardware. And as the Apple Watch expands its health-oriented features, it could become the easiest way to keep your health on track and your day on schedule.
Apple AirPods (2016)
Like the iconic iPod before it, Apple’s AirPods have captured the hearts, minds and ears of music lovers looking to jam to some tunes. First released in 2016, AirPods quickly became an icon in their own right, both for their aesthetic appeal as well as their larger cultural impact. But widespread adoption hasn’t come without criticism. Its controversial manufacturing methods make disposal and recycling difficult, and could alter how we think about the future of our gadgets once we’re done with them. AirPods even carry social significance thanks to the glut classist jokes and memes spread across social media, transforming them into earbuds that double as a not-so-subtle status indicator. However, their cutting-edge hardware and software evolved further in this year’s AirPods Pro, and helped cement them as the gold standard of truly wireless audio for music fans.
Nintendo Switch (2017)
When it comes to gaming on the go, no one can top Nintendo’s track record, beginning with the humble Game Boy in 1989. But the introduction of its hybrid Nintendo Switch in 2017 — which you can play either portably or connected to your TV — might be the company’s most important contribution to gaming yet. Compared to the competition, it handily takes the crown as the most important video game console of the decade, with fans begging developers to bring their next title to the Switch. Its smartphone-inspired portability, paired with Nintendo’s ever-growing library of blockbuster, independent and vintage titles, makes the Switch feel like the culmination of Nintendo’s idea of what gaming should be.
Xbox Adaptive Controller (2018)
Microsoft’s Xbox Adaptive Controller, made for gamers with limited mobility and highly modifiable for different users’ needs, is perhaps my favorite gadget of the decade, and one I pray is duplicated by other major game companies. Not only does it look slick, it’s designed to accommodate a subset of gamers long ignored by the larger gaming industry. Microsoft worked alongside organizations like the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and the AbleGamers Charity to shape everything from the huge buttons on its face to its accessible packaging. With over a dozen ports for connecting assistive controllers, buttons and joysticks, and its compatibility with both Xbox One consoles and Windows PCs, Xbox’s Adaptive Controller is one of the most important developments in the gaming industry, and should put a smile on anyone’s face.

However, their cutting-edge hardware and software evolved further in this year’s AirPods Pro, and helped cement them as the gold standard of truly wireless audio for music fans.
