to create a masterlist is the following:

1. create a masterlist post (a post where others can find your fandom list, fics, byf/rules, about you etc,. )

2. hyperlink everything (click on the three little dots on the right side of the post you want to copy and click on “copy link” then link it to the text inside your masterlist post:

3. then paste the copied link on the blank space and click on “add link” :

to color the text:

1. firstly this can only be done on a desktop, so laptop/computer etc. i use the website called “bbcode & html text colorizer” by stuff by david

2. on the very first step on the website go ahead and add your text:

3. on the second step of the website you can choose how you want to color your text (personally i choose “solid color” meaning only 1 color, i know other writers use “horizontal gradient” which is two colors on the text or “three color gradient” which is three colors that can appear on the text)

4. the third step on the website gives you a little bar and that’s where you’ll put the color you want but it must be in hex code. you can search up on google or pinterest “hex codes” or if you want a certain color then it’d be “____ hex code” i used hex code #FFC0CB

5. the fourth step on the website gives you options to have a certain font/size of the text but i don’t use that option (you can leave it blank if you want)

6. the fifth step on the website gives you a preview (go ahead and copy the whole text from the bottom bar)

7. then make a post, when making a post click on the settings icon:

8. text editor should be changed to “html” :

9. once changed you can go ahead and paste the text from the text colorizer website just make sure to delete the ; and replace the ‘ with “ then go ahead and save it and it should appear like this depending on your text:

Are your gijinkas (race wise) based on the actors for the most part or the pokemons design for the most part? I'm curious to know :3

I don't really have a definitive answer for this, but when think abt it, it's a bit all over the place if that makes sense??

Like some of them aren't really a specific race (Like 4est, Pastey, and Lark), some are based on the actors (Like Jayweed and the Mykyie redesign I plan on posting soon) and some are based on the Pokemon's design (Sara and Braidy I think are good examples of this)

Tbh the only one who doesn't fall into either one of these categories is Grunpilo, that weird little freak.

Okay, so Spider! Wally is a half-spider. He has some spider traits, but he keeps them hidden from everyone.

However, they come out when he starts to molt (starting around his neck and shoulders, much to Wally's discomfort ) so Wally hides in home to avoid the others from finding out (and for howdy sake) and only comes out at night ( dude still needs to eat).

I haven't thought of a good name for this au yet might call it Molting or something.

(also frank is the first person to find out about it)

okay okay okay maddie ur a mf genius for this like wow. WOW. i will admit, my mind immediately went “how do i make it so maria’s dad is still good” bc in my mind hank is never evil so its a lil different from tangled, but it def still works because like. here’s how it could all start

maybe maria’s mother, dorinda, was like a witch or sorcereress. maybe her family’s lineage was blessed with the same drop of sunlight that blessed the flower in tangled, or maybe she’s fae-descendant. either way, she has a magic garden full of flowers with magical properties and shit: anti-aging tulips, sick-remedy sunflowers, good-luck clovers, that kinda thing. her and maria’s father try at first to keep themselves secret, but it gets hard because she’s known to their small village as a healer. everyone tries to keep the news of her magic under wraps when it comes to outsiders because they know that, if word got out about maria’s mother, she would be quickly taken away by the king and queen, and locked away forever in the castle

so the secret stays buried—at least until maria is born. at this point, it’s virtually impossible to keep maria or her mother’s powers a secret, because maria is even more powerful than her forbearer. flowers bloom when she laughs, animals go haywire when she cries, and anyone who has the privilege of twisting her hair is blessed with a surge of healthful youth. dorinda has always had the power to heal people with her plants and herbs, but maria’s abilities are external and as powerful as she’s ever seen. she knows instantly she needs to be protected, so she and hank agree to do what’s necessary: they disappear to protect maria. with the help of the villagers, they give away all of dorinda’s magic plants and burn the roots away. they’re gone before maria reaches three months old

decades later, when the old queen falls deathly ill, the castle sends out gaurds to every corner of the kingdom looking for magic. they’ve heard rumors of the villager’s healer, a commoner witch with the powers necessary to save the queen, so the king orders them to raise hell until she’s found. village by village, soldiers interrogate everyone for information on the secret healer’s identity. eventually, they have a lead on a hideout and find them

before they’re stolen away to the castle, dorinda makes a deal with the king: that she can remain the queen’s nurse, dedicating her life to keeping her alive, but only if her daughter remains a protected secret. the king agrees, and they all decide it’s best for maria to be locked away somewhere safe, where her powers wouldn’t be witnessed by anyone.

so NOW we’re at tangled: maria is locked away in a tower and only gets occasional visits from her father, when he can get away from the castle. tommy, former blacksmith and current fugitive, is on the run from castle guards when he happens upon maria’s tower and hoists himself up with a pick-axe. she wipes him out with her cast iron pan, and it’s love at first knock-out

Personally, I think it’s more about someone/something commonly associated with children being talked about in a sexual context, if you know what I mean? I don’t think it’s wrong at all, especially because the character you’re talking about is 19, but it does feel different than writing/discussing sexual thoughts about a character from a piece of media aimed at teens or adults. Like when the fans are older teens and adults, sexual discussions of characters aren’t surprising because those are age groups that are sexually active, whereas with Percy Jackson, it’s a series aimed at younger children/preteens and they wouldn’t be talking about those characters sexually but most likely would in a romantic sense

I hope that made sense, I don’t care one way or the other lmao, just wanted to put on my analysis hat and throw in my two cents

no i understand completely like when i thought abt it, this is also what it boiled down to for me. i can see why it could feel wrong for some people but i just feel like im doing my best to keep minors off of my page and from engaging w my content, and thats all i can do since i do still want to write luke and i happen to have hormones and most of my content happens to be sexual. but anyone under 18 should in no way be engaging w my content anyway so i think thats why i dont necessarily feel weird abt writing a character from a kids show/book/movie

Given how the angara are overall, I think it's less about jealousy as much as it is...having emotions and dealing with them upfront.

To put it another way, he would have a lot of confidence, love, and respect for his partner. Seeing him jealous would be a rarity because of this. Rather, he would either be concerned at someone persistent or angry/betrayed if you were flirting with someone else. (Obviously assuming you hadn't a prior conversation about having an open or polyamorous relationship. I do feel like he would consider the idea, given the way angaran emotions work in their culture; Jaal gives me demisexual vibes, so while he'd need some time to catch feelings or adjust to a new partner, he'd still be open to the idea.)

Anywho! Jealousy, I feel, would only happen rarely and with certain people. Even the most open people can occasionally be gripped by insecurity, so... I feel like this would only happen if he was concerned about the relationship in some way and the person who worried him would- in his view- likely provide/protect you better than he could.

However, he would likely flag you down to talk about such concerns and soothe his anxieties as soon as he could/whenever you had a minute to spare. If there's something that's bothering him, it's...honestly hard to imagine he wouldn't notice it pretty fast and get to the source of the problem.

Jaal really comes off as someone who'd know himself and his emotions pretty well (and even in game, he rarely loses his head, even at the most tense of situations), so when it comes to letting something get out of control, he'd really try to cut it off before it even got that far.

running isn’t the kindest of sports isn’t it? it hurts sometimes that’s for sure. but i have always found it interesting how whenever u tell someone u run long distance they always default to thinking its this crazy test of physicality and athleticism when i’d argue it’s much more of a mental thing than a physical one. like honestly when u think abt it ppl figure out how to run right after they learn to walk as little kids anyone can do it really!! (which also makes being “good” at it feel silly, like requires little to no skill and ur good at it? be so serious!!) it really comes down to how long you can just hang in there, which is pretty daunting sometimes! man last fall i ran a half marathon (completely unaffiliated just for fun???) and mile 11 was hard. and i mean brutally hard. i was in tears the entire 11th mile, was really at the everything hurts i want to be done point but as u said it’s just a small part of the whole process!! that line of thought was enough to let me get it together to finish!
