Okay so the one thing that I am genuinely surprised about is that after the trailer drop absolutely no one is talking about Godwyn and his potential role.

Like, yeah, we didn't see him or anything in the trailer but there's a friggin Death Blight swamp!!!!

And if Godwyns Death Root can reach Farum Azula, which is exists outside of time, then you know for a FACT that what ever is going on with Godwyn in the Realm of Shadow is gonna be so fucked up and crazy and oh my god his boss fight is going to be AWESOME ✨

BUT with the Sub masochist Bill, i can totally see where it’d go. I feel like Bill would be the type of person to never even think about touching himself, because the whole ‘trying to end the world thing’, and he was too busy with all of that and experimenting with pain in the human body it never even occurred to him that pleasure would be as awesome as it was till the [insert reader] showed him

Like literally after he figures it out he prolly wouldn’t even wanna stop. Man could go hours overstimulated and sex crazy because after a while of getting overstimmed it hurts insanely bad, but that’s lowkey more of a reason for him to keep going.

And whenever you’d tell him no to fucking or you’d be busy or something, it’d drive him literally nuts because ‘how dare you reject HIM.’ And he’d think it would just be casual questions of ‘Sooo you wanna have sex now, toots?’ but it’d get the point where he’d just be BEGGING you to touch him.

Speaking of touching himself, like i’d said before, he never really had till his first time with you, and whenever you’d reject his advances he just couldn’t help but touch himself while throwing a little hissy fit about the whole thing. You’d once walked in on him in one of these moments, on the bed, dick in hand while ruthlessly beating himself off. Sometimes he’d even slap himself and things of the sort and imagine it was you doing it and that usually through him over the edge.

ALSO FLUFF 🤩 So i don’t imagine him to be the most open about cuddling or anything but when he’s in the mood he’d get upset when you wouldn’t. Sometimes he just forgets you can’t read his mind. But honestly he seems clingy in the type of way that when he’s not horny out of his demonic mind, that he’d learn to just enjoy your general presence. Even when you guys aren’t having playful banter, he would bask in the silence knowing you’re there with him by his side. Don’t get me wrong, this man is a pest and would never admit any of this outloud, but he also feels as thought you know it so he doesn’t HAVE to tell you.

ONE MORE THING: Star gazing. now i really need you to here me out of this one.

So his dimension (or whatever it was) was destroyed, right? And even when he eventually came to earth, he must’ve been traveling in the stars for a while just tryna find a new home. So sometimes when he’s really feeling it, you guy’ll be on the roof to your place and he’d point out the general direction of where is dimension once was, or even go into detail about constellations he knows you don’t know about. Like i said this man is not a gooshy-ass person and can be a real dickhead to you more or less all the time, but i feel like there would definitely be those insanely rare moments where you could look at him and see a bit of human in that demonic entity (BYW ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE IVE BEEN IN THIS FANDOM SO I MIGHTVE FORGOTTEN IMPORTANT LORE SO LEAVE ME ALONE 😭😭) Anywayss lemme think of some Ford shit to keep you sane pooks 😌🫡

Now that I’ve finished reading Hortus de Escapismo and Executor’s record, I really gotta ramble about Executor for a second and kinda talk abt how Arknights handles his lack of empathy trait that I really enjoy. This isn’t a proper analysis or anything just my thoughts I wanna vomit for a sec.

So it’s implied in Executor’s record that he just, wasn’t born having empathy despite being a sankta. Or at least he just naturally doesn’t have the same levels of understanding of emotion as other sankta. The part that I really like about it is how Executor’s Record and story in general doesn’t portray that as a necessarily bad thing.

His lack of empathy allows him to think in a way that is a lot more unique than other sankta. When his partner in his record story told him to sacrifice him, he still brought his body back to Laterano. One of the reason being because of a specific sentence in the will they were enacting (“I hope all Laterans return back to their home.” Smth that most people would assume is just smth the will writer wrote for some extra literary flare) but also because he disregarded his partner’s feelings. His lack of empathy is the reason why he did something good and that is very interesting to me especially when most people tend to demonise having low/no empathy.

I also just really like how in his record story, it’s emphasised that he knows what emotions ARE. He has developed a system with his parents to recognise and visualise emotions by drawing lines that represent them. He knows what it is, he can recognise it to a level where he can think of the next best course of action when confronted with it, he just doesn’t put much importance on it nor does he bother with understanding it for the most part. Especially if it’s something that will get in the way of his job. And I REALLY like that cus it reminds me of how people irl that have low empathy will develop systems to work around it and still be kind.

I know a lot of us joke about Executor being autistic and that’s funny and I like the jokes as much as everyone else, but low or no empathy is a trait of other mental disorders and disabilities and even as someone that hasn’t been diagnosed with anything yet it still feels kinda nice to see low empathy being portrayed in a way that isn’t villanious.

In fact, Executor having low empathy kinda makes him the best person in the room sometimes especially in Hortus de Escapismo. The part where he does a warning shot at Oren and Lemuen and essentially goes “Can ya’ll STOP I’m trying to do my JOB.” And essentially manages to stop a massacre because of it is so funny but also so fucking hype bruv. I like how in the end of the event when Executor was starting to ask more questions and have more doubts and was starting to let emotions affect his actions a bit more, it isn’t framed as like “Oh mah gerd, he’s learning empathy and being more hooman!”

Instead he’s asking questions and seeking to find solutions to them in his own unique way. Asking around and adding more variables to his thought process like a computer would (which has some implications that gets my lore brain churning but hrghrghrgh)

Top it all of with the fact that he is specifically a character that is born and raised in a society that values empathy. Being able to feel other people’s emotions is what makes you a sankta. And Executor, is one of the better sanktas because he doesn’t follow that rule.

so. I've been reading some posts on the jedi order tag AND i won't talk about my opinion on "are jedi good or bad discourse" BUT i wanna point out some lore to everyone who's complaining about the jedi taking kids into their order: (in the EU) it wasn't always like this.

if you take swtor era (more than 3000 years before the prequels) there were many jedi who joined at an older age. like, for example there was a guy who broke his engagement to become one. most jedi remember their families because they were old enough when they decided to go.

THEN in darth bane's book trilogy (circa 1000 yesrs before the prequels) there is a passage where two sith lords are talking about taking bane, already an adult, to study at korriban. one doubted him because he was too old, ans the other told him he sounded like a jedi, and that ONE DAY jedi will have to accept only kids into their ranks if they really want to find "pure" people that can learn their lessons quicker.

one day!! so it wasn't always like that!! the ongoing wars with the sith, who corrupted and killed many of them, had pressured them into taking always younger people into their ranks.

also, consider a thing that this video explains super well: training to become a jedi is not like exercising, because there is a transformative lesson at the end of the training that changes everything. you can't just do as much as you can, but not finish.

the transformative lesson, as the video explains, is that through the force, everything is the same - from rocks and ships to life and death. at the end of the training you have to understand this fundamental truth.

yoda says "you have to unlearn what you have learned". during times where they were constantly killed off or corrupted by the dark side (and if you haven't learned this lesson you are more susceptible to this corrupting), younger people were taken in to actually finish their training (a training that was ultimately about being a good person AND that you could leave at any point if you weren't sold on that, too)

(remember that for the sith failure = death. like. that was the alternative for force sensitive kids. it's not like sith had any moral problem with taking kids away without consent. sith don't have moral problems: they believe that them being stronger in the force means they can do whatever they want as long as their strong enough to go and do it. there are MANY passages in many different star wars stories, even in different mediums, that say this out loud)

AND (this is more of a critical thought than just stating the lore) the fact that they started doing it out of necessity doesn't mean it's 100% good BUT you know. the whole set up of the prequels is that we're starting off the story in a period of crisis and decadence all around. most of the systems of the times were about to fall. OF COURSE they had problems. if they didn't, we wouldn't have the story to begin with.

that doesn't automatically mean jedi = bad and sith are better, tho. you wouldn't take the last, chaotic and decadent period to jugde something, would you? it's like deciding that the athenian democracy sucked because people at the times of Demosthenes failed at recognizing the new schemes in which the world was evolving into, and still believed that their city would be important as it had been in the previous century. They just didn't fucking expect the Macedons would conquer half the world known and more, and have the subsequent political power. Still, their experiences in the 5th century with democracy were very good, even better than ours on many fronts, if you contextualize a little. the jedi had flaws, and most importantly, they didn't fucking know the future and everything that ever happened, ever, so they made mistakes. that doesn't automatically make the system ill, or bad, or not-working. systems can have setbacks when the world changes. (just like athenian democracy had one when they lost the empire that was funding the democracy. they even had a tyranny for a while and then fixed the problems. that doesn't diminish retrospectively their democracy)

I'm not sure what youve seen and what you havent- so really its up to you to scroll through my blog and see what i've posted about polyverse- I've thought about making it its own blog- but then i would also feel compelled to try and make a mod again and after how badly the first time went I think i'd rather die then give myself any urge to repeat that.

Polyverse Garcello was rped and mostly written by my beloved partner @colliewolf ! But we were all BIG Garci fans so little to say he played a BIG part in a lot of Polyverse lore-

His whole thing was due to the circumstances of his whole general life, his magic cigarettes were part of a deal he made with a demon named Austin in order to keep himself alive- who was a scumbag in the sense that he fed off pain and had a whole office dedicated to making shitty deals like this, but I REALLY LIKED HIM cause i gave him a fairy assistant named Bloo who was a little snitch and aughngdhugu i loved them

Eventually Garci met Bf and even though part of the deal was killing folks- he didn't wanna do that. Bf and him bonded a shit fuck ton in that alley, mostly cause BF is CODED to be extremely lovable, little dudes of a failboy magnet- so he doesn't- so his clock runs out on his deal and he passes away. Thats it right? WRONG! Because Bf is an Angel, just like DD as a Demon, he has the ability to revive Garcello. Which he does. Accidently. Because he didn't know he was an Angel yet, he just wanted Garcello back- big woops but not that bad of a woops i guess.

Garcello being around let us interact with him and incorporate him more into the story- like being foster siblings with Eric(Polyverse Spirit) before the video game thing happened, and being half Angel because when ghosts get revived by Demons and Angels they become half of said species in Polyverse. >>;

As for your question about everyone's flaws- its important to note that the ancient Angels could not comprehend the ability of learning from your mistakes. Your mistakes, flaws, morally wrong actions even in a grey sense, and ANYTHING to do with demons even it wasn't inherently bad, were all things condemned by them. Things like associating with Demons or evil beings (Garcello and Lila), being a Demon (Gf), being part Demon (Eric), Killing people even in acts of self defense (Pico). These were all flaws to Angels, and upon entering the Heaven Plane these flaws actually manifest as something physical for all the Angel's to see and know what mistakes you've made.

I would put my thoughts on the apology tour here too but I think that will make this post to long so i'm just going to talk about the finale stream itself.

Also this is very unorganized bc I dont really remember how it exactly played out and I could go back and watch the VOD but ion wanna hear wilburs voice so im using the wiki for this therefore I wont have intricate details

One thing I really like is the flashback at the beginning. Especially the fade from L'manburg to the destroyed L'manburg I love it sm it reminds me of Analog horror series

(That part isn't relevant tho that's just me nerding out over analog horror)

They then go to Las Nevadas to try and apologize to Q but get ghosted and im pretty sure it was bc of conflicting schedules or smth but the fact that c!tntduo never got a proper ending pisses me off to this day. LIKE wdym they never interacted ever again??? Wdym if followin the dsmp ending Quackity probably has no memory of c!wilbur??? !?!?!??!?! I rlly just wish they could've gotten some form of closure either from cc!wil or cc!quackity and sure its funny ig that Q canonically ghosted c!wilbur but still??!?!??!?! ugh anyways

Also c!wilbur getting scared was so....NOT EVEN TWO SECONDS LATER tommy fucking asks "Wil, are you going to kill yourself?" FUCK?????? BRO????????????? WILBUR DENYING IT TO???? Now getting to my criticisms a little bit, I don't like the utah and gas station thing at all. It feels just so random? Out of place even. I would've liked it more if it was just a desert where c!wilbur was from or something

Then wilburs goes to leave blah blah blah don't trust those americans yada yada

Oh but C!tommy asking c!wilbur to forgive the most important person (himself) then a few minutes later we get "I never did forgive myself"OUGDHSHSGHDGDSHUSHGHUHB

Okay now im going to lay out my main criticisms I have with the finale and why I think it was somewhat unsatisfying and we c!wilbur fans were kinda fucked over in the end

I understand c!wilbur was afraid of losing him or whatever but it would've shown SO MUCH GROWTH FROM HIM IF HE OUTLOUD SAID "Im sorry" TO THE PERSON HE HURT MOST. Im pissed that presumably cc!wilbur decided not to have that happen. Even if it was bad JUST DO IT. c!wilbur was going to leave anyways so him being scared of losing c!tommy if he apologized wouldn't matter!

My next point is that c!wilbur leaving wasn't thought out enough I think. I do personally think c!wilbur should've left the place that ruined him to heal. That's step one of learning to heal but with the apology tour being a flop and him never verbally apologizing to c!tommy it felt unsatisfying and almost underserved and I see why so many people afterward were like "he doesn't just get to leave". What would've helped I think would've been more streams or longer streams if possible. There was so much shit that needed to be retconned but it wasn't given enough time I feel and thats why to so many ppl they were unsatifyed/upset

Going more into the utah shit. I hate it. I hate the "Plot twist" of him being secretly american and from utah. Not even getting into how the real world is now apparently canon to the dsmp in one of the last few dsmp lore streams. I honestly would've liked it more if it wasn't specifically named what the place was instead it was just home. I also had this idea of instead of him disappearing in the middle of the ocean I think it would've been cooler if c!wilbur took a train somewhere almost like a callback to limbo.

I don't like how its somewhat implied c!wilbur killed himself again. It feels cheap to kill of a already heavily suicidal character AGAIN when instead it genuinely could've been a story about how you can learn to heal and forgive yourself even if you did bad things. Maybe this is just me not wanting my favorite character to die but I don't like it at all

Ghostbur was also handled terribly. I understand why alivebur hated him but I also think it would've shown growth if he learned to accept ghostbur in the end. Even if it wasn't fully

Also why the fuck did we never get the contents of the book c!wilbur gave c!tommy?? You throw that shit in just to never tell us what's in it almost 2 years later??

Final thoughts

I might go back and edit this later with more things but for my final thoughts I think c!wilburs finale +the apology tour was a big unsatisfying flop and I belive c!wilbur fans were unfairly fucked over in the end.

Not to sing brighton biter praise, but I do believe he was a good writer and the fact that the last few streams were this unsatisfying is disappointing coming from him. I mean im sure he just wanted to get c!wilburs finale out so he could be done with it but that's not an excuse for fucking your fans over. There was also probably issues with other ccs and characters since (Imo) a lot of the characters he interacted with in the end don't have the best writing (not meant to insult the ccs btw, just saying)

But personally, I somewhat accept it simply bc this is the best we got and I personally don't like alot of other fan re writes on his ending and I also don't like his ending just being "lol he killed himself again"

Been talking a lot about my Tav Hylas and uh. I still haven’t. Shared them on here??

So here’s a post dedicated to my darling Hylas (they/them)!

(Under the cut is their lore/backstory and some doodles of them and Gale, so if you just wanna see the screenshots you don’t gotta go any deeper)

Hylas Lore

Hylas was born in Baldur’s Gate to a Human mother and Wood Elf father (side note: I think more Wood Elves should be green. It’s my reality, so Hylas is tinted green bc of their dad’s genes).

Dad bailed pretty early on, and because mom couldn’t afford to be a single mom, she gave custody of Hylas to a nearby Monastery of Lathander.

Hylas didn’t have to become a member of the clergy/monk, but they liked the teachings of Lathander and decided to dedicate their life to him as a monk. They started studying and archiving at 13, and didn’t start martial arts training until 15.

They trained as an Open Hand monk (I like to think their specific style is a mix of Shanghai- and Southern-Tiger Kung Fu style; I tried to draw them in a Tiger stance above) and they perfected their speed and placement of attacks.

At 25, the monastery was attacked, and Hylas was put in charge of getting the younger students to safety with another monk. They were attacked, and Hylas fought tooth and claw to protect the kids and the fellow monk, who was critically injured. The ordeal nearly killed them, and it left them with long-lasting scars, but if given the chance they’d do it all over again. Defending the people they love is the most important thing to them, and the monastery is their family.

A stereotypical “monk” pose from when I first drew Hylas—way before I actually put thought into their martial stylings. See it as a show of their flexibility, I guess!

At 31, they left the monastery to travel Faêrun on their own for the first time—they’d only ever known brief glimpses of Baldur’s Gate and the monastery. They traveled up and down the Sword Coast, meeting with other temples of Lathander (they even met Gideon Lightward from Elturel; they felt he was a little too ‘fire and brimstone’ to be a true priest of the Dawn Father, but they enjoyed his company and tutelage nonetheless).

After years of studying being an archivist, Hylas has a borderline unhealthy fixation on collecting books/missives/texts. It is, in fact, a problem. They read the Tome of Thay because of it. They don’t know they have a problem, and the fact that they’re romancing Gale doesn’t do them any favors.

And 10 years after they left—Baldur’s Gate 3 happened! So Hylas is 41 during the game; 20-25 in Human years! They got set back to Level 1 like the rest of the gang (and they were VERY mad they had to rely on a staff again. They spent a DECADE breaking their fingers to punch things into dust, dammit!/hjk).

Some fun facts about Hylas:

When their dad was still around, he took them to see a ballet performance (this is my reality, and in my reality Elves invented ballet, huff my jorts) and they wanted to be a ballerina SO BAD

Since they DIDN’T get to be a ballerina, they spent some of their 10 years traveling Faêrun learning some dances! It was fun to do, connected them to their past, and helped them keep in shape when they weren’t training.

They’ve had their vitiligo since childhood, though it’s grown over time.

Hylas’s non-binary/transmasc identity is loosely based on my own experiences as a demiboy! They actually made me feel more comfortable with my own they/them pronouns and I’m toying around with using them over he/him.

They’re very much romancing Gale—they find his intelligence and passion for knowledge and teaching very sexy.

Gale was also their first… well, almost everything relationship wise! First significant other, first hand hold, first time.

The only first Gale didn’t get was kissing, and that’s because when Hylas was young, they and another monk-in-training kissed each other to see what all the fuss was about. They both swore to keep it secret (intimacy was a no-no for monks at the monastery), but they both caved due to guilt and separately fessed up to the same monk. They had a LOT of extra chores that month.

(Hylas never sought out a relationship after the monastery simply because they didn’t really… see the point. The monks had drilled celibacy into their head for so long they just kinda. Didn’t seek it out. And then they pulled the wizard from the rock and everything changed…)

Spoilers for Act 3 for this one: in my play through, Hylas drowned in the Iron Throne along with… a lot of the hostages. They made sure Wyll’s dad got out safe, and kept the Sahuagin from getting to the sub while everyone else escaped, but they went down with the prison and have a phobia of water/drowning now (as well as a LOT of guilt over all the dead Gondians—they probably won’t ever forgive themselves for that).

Post-game, I think Hylas would become a priest of Lathander or a scholar/archivist—they’re done fighting for a nice long while. (They still train regularly though—gotta keep the mind and body sharp!)

Karlach is their bff. The SECOND Karlach could touch others, they JUMPED to hug her.

Hylas’s favorite stuffed animal growing up was a sabertooth tiger—and in my play through, Halsin became a sabertooth tiger a LOT :3

They let Volo take their eye. They. They did that. Volo they trusted you. Do you know what an honor it was for them to meet you, Volo? VOLO—

Between Hylas’s open hand attacks and Gale casting Disintegrate, these two are fucking lethal as hell. Lucky for you they just want to study and talk about books with Tara.

Hope y’all love my baby as much as I do—I have so so SO many thoughts about them. Once I’m able to draw digitally again I’m gonna be doing SO much art of them and Gale 💕

i would love to hear about mass effect as im hoping to start playing it soon!!!!! what would u tell a new player going in blind as a vague run down :)

oh god oh god oh god

1: every. little. thing. matters. you think going on a certain side mission is just a little, haha, fun thing. or maybe you're like "eh, i don't wanna do this" and then suddenly a crew member is dead and you couldn't save them. and it's not just in the first game, either. every choice you make will have consequences even into the third game. it is so fucking cool being able to say/do things and then have people remember and hate/love you for it many games forward. a fucking insane mechanic.

2: if you are too nice to Kaiden he will want to fuck you if you're playing fem shep. holy fuck i made that mistake my first run through, and i felt too bad to break up with him and was stuck with him and didn't even LIKE him like that. the first game, you can only romance Kaiden as fem shep, Ash as male shep, and Liara as either. when i learned i could romance Garrus in the second game though phewwwww. this isn't super important just something to keep in mind i suppose if you're wondering about romance options.

3: when i first played the game (this was the og games, not the legendary editions, so things are easier if you're playing legendary) i like. just didn't know about weapon mods and armor mods? i got to a certain high level mission and kept dying SO OFTEN and i was like why!! ended up beating the whole game before i realized you could modify your guns and shit to do more damage with like chemical rounds and shit like that. i promise it'll make things so much easier if you're constantly switching to the newest/higher upgrade. you can slice through things like butter.

4: there is a morality tracker in the game. Paragon or Renegade. While i think both sides are fun (Renegade is my favorite personally lmao) make sure to stick to one side for the most part. You wanna get your Paragon/Renegade points high for certain dialogue/choice options. However, just because you choose one morality route, doesn't mean you have to stick to it for every choice/option. you might think you'll have to chose the mean or nice option every single time, but you can mix it up. especially if you want a good outcome over all. Just do enough to keep your points high and you should be fine.

5: no matter how hard you try, none of the characters you design will look good. i'm sorry. i've yet to see it. even modded characters look wonky. legendary default fem shep is my favorite and i always play her because she's hot as fuck, but every time i try to make my own Shep, they look WRONG. idk how to explain it. they put more thought into the story than they did character design anyway lmao.

6: i really hope you don't mind bugs because there are space bugs. a lot of them.

7: do every mission you possibly can/want to before Virmire on ME1. just... trust me.

8: do every mission you possibly can/want to before acquiring the Reaper IFF in ME2... just trust me.

9: fucking, good luck with missions on ME3 that's a clusterfuck. that's all i'm saying about that.

10: talk with your crew often. there's so so so much lore to learn. (again, careful with Kaiden) but they each have their own stories and you learn more about the universe and ugh. it's so good.

11: Joker is your best friend.

Four Jewels, Fleeting Notes (she/her) is an ancient that managed to survive past the times of global ascension, outliving her entire species. She is now taking refuge in her local iterator superstructure, performing various maintenance work for her kind’s creation. She is a highly nostalgic individual, with a very particular relationship with ascension and the Great Problem. In Search of Abundance (he/xe) is the iterator in which Jewels is currently residing in and the one that took care of her city in the times before global ascension. He is what could be considered a low resource iterator, built with an older model by the standards of his time and with cut corners in regards to his capability for self maintenance and processing power. Due to a very important detail in his design, he was doomed to die much quicker without the help and maintenance of his citizens, thing that he tried to stop at all costs, to very much no avail. Thankfully, one faithful day, one of his old citizens decided to come back into his can...and give him a second chance.

Good luck getting this little grumpy fella to talk though, he doesn't enjoy strangers... nor talking.

A Golden Crown, Six Silver Coins (they/them) is an ancient that decided to ascend way before the times of global ascension, and even the rise of iterator. They were a mask maker, highly renowned on their field, where they made various masks and accessories for high ranking individuals and important Houses, feat which very few could achieve. They were also Jewel’s partner for a good chunk of her life, spending a long time together, even through various different lifetimes... until well, one day they uh, yknow...

Chapter IV - Act IV

Phew, so like I thought Act III was just a set up because so many things happened in this Act, it was crazy. I'll summarize it as best as I can.

We continue our investigation in the prison and after talking to Lyney we decide that it would be best to investigate the infirmary. So Traveler pretends to be ill so that they can stay there for a while without raising suspicions. And while they're in there, Traveler sees a suspicious iron plate on the floor.

Then we reunite with Lyney and discover that something must have happened with Lynette since she was supposed to be in the infirmary but she's missing. Lyney goes into panic mode thinking that they did something to Lynette and possibly to Freminet as well. So we go to talk to Wriothesley.

(We also discover that Sigewinne knew that Traveler was pretending to be ill and she just played along. She's smarter than she looks, it's a bit scary lol)

So we talk with Wrio. He knew what we were doing all along and just pretended not to know to see our movements. He starts to provoke Lyney with his siblings' status. He then tests us to see how much we have discovered about the prison.

After that Lyney thinks he's had enough and tries to attack Wrio but Sigewinne intervenes with a tranquilizer.

Fortunately, everyone is safe. Clorinde appears with Freminet who's unconscious and we later learn that Lynette was just asleep. Freminet went to investigate the tunnels where Tartaglia supposedly escaped and somehow came into contact with water from the Primordial Sea.

We actually play this part as Freminet as he investigated the tunnels. I said this once before, but I really like when we change perspective and play as other characters. They are playable after all!

But anyway, after making sure that Freminet and Lynette are ok, we go to talk to Wrio because we wanna know what's happening exactly.

He tells us a bunch of lore, but the important thing right now is that there is a kind of barrier in the prison that is containing the Primordial Sea and it is about to break.

And guess what? Next day it does break! Everyone is in panic mode. We go to the barrier again and we see that Wrio is trying to freeze it but to no avail. Clorinde is there to help too.

(This part had a lot of good shots tbh)

As we go out we see Neuvillette who has come to help, but he tells us to go with Furina because she's going to see Arlecchino again and he wants us to support Furina since she's so scared of Arlecchino.

While Arlecchino is an intimidating woman, she's not that bad, for now at least. When we finish we decide to go talk to her in private and she tells us a bit about her story with Furina.

Basically she kinda attacked Furina, which is why she's scared of her. But what's interesting is that Arlecchino is not very... certain that Furina is the Archon. She just thinks that for an Archon, Furina doesn't seem that powerful or confident, she's like a little girl. While Neuvillette on the other hand seems way more powerful and commanding, he seems more like an Archon.

(That's funny because at first I also thought that maybe he was secretly the Archon)

Also while we're talking with her, Neuvillette is doing his thing and uses his powers to contain the Primordial Sea.

And when he finishes we talk to him again. Traveler and Paimon question him, wondering if maybe he is the Archon after all. But no, as I thought he's not the Archon but rather the Hydro Dragon. That's why it rains when he's upset about something (that must be a bit awkward).

So yeah Furina IS the Archon, but there's clearly something going on with her that will probably get revealed in the final Arc of this Chapter.

I'm guessing that Arlecchino must have some scheme too, and I doubt the Primordial Sea will be contained that easily.

But there's also something else... I mean, we don't end up finding Tartaglia after all. As a little twist at the end, Traveler gets another dream with his Vision, and we see Tartaglia falling in the sea... as a giant whale hovers above him.

So uh... is that the freaking whale that he fought in the Abyss? I mean there has to be a reason why he talked about that in Act I. I wasn't expecting Tarta to have a bigger role here, but I'm interested to see how this will end.

I don't know if I'll play the whole Act the day it comes out, but I will play it soon because I don't want spoilers and I'm excited to find out how all of this will end.

Okay so Milo is like low-key famous up in heaven (he's the son of the king of heavens "manager" I forgor the word) (ITS ADVISOR, THE KINGS TOP ADVISOR TAHTS THE WORD OMG)

so he's constantly trying to keep his public image intact..

but that starts to get harder after he's sent on a mission to deliver a message to the king of hell

down there he sees the king's son (spoiler: it's Jax) and is like " Oh shoot oh no he's hot wth why do I like this guy I'm straight wait what"

OH YEA SILLY HEAVEN LORE DROP: Being queer is totally fine up there, Milo has been out and transitioned for years, but from a young age all angel's are taught that engaging in sexual activity or having sexual thoughts is a big no no

so for the next month or so Milo is having progressively more risqué thoughts and even dreams (woagh that's crazy) and he's getting real stressed out because I LIED MORE HEAVEN LORE: when angels start losing their "purity", small parts of their body start changing to red, ie some of the hair, eyes, any markings. SO HES ALL STRESSED CAUSE HES STRUGGLING TO HIDE THE CHANGES :((

ANYWAYS- He gets sent on another mission to hell, this time to ask if preparations for Jax's coronation have started, and gets suckered into helping. The two start getting closer~..

ONTO JAX LORE!!!!!! YIPPEE

Jax is the Prince of Hell, and has been conditioned by its asshole of a father to eventually become king since he was very young. His father would often push Jax past its limits both physically and emotionally. When he couldn't deal with this, his father decided to start just straight up abusing him. (I wanna kill, him. YES I KNOW IM IN CONTROL BUT HES IMPORTANT TO THE STORY FOR NOW 😭)

Because his mother was an incubus (she's uh- out of the picture... also incubi and succubi can be any gender so fun fact!!!) it decides to deal with his issues by whoring around (he's so silly!! <- the poor guy needs severe therapy and to get away from his dad)

One day, an angel comes to deliver a message to his father (WOAGH I WONDER WHO THAT IS!?!??! 🧐🧐) and he becomes absolutely infatuated after seeing him once (bro is down bad frfr)

as it nears time for his coronation, the same angel comes to visit to help with preparations. once again, the two start getting closer~..

NOW GENERAL STORY STUFF!!!!! I cannot thank you enough for the chance to be so soso abnormal abt my silly little guys btw

Before they get closer, Milo is like "nuh uh being friends with a demon is wrong HECK NO" (he doesn't swear :3) but eventually they start talking, Jax opens up about his daddy issues (trauma is the first conversation topic as always with these DAMN QUEERS-) <- I AM A DAMN QUEER YALL

and Jax learns what life in heaven is like (and is absolutely horrified to learn that sexuality is frowned upon)

it now has a goal to help Milo understand that his teachings were incorrect

to directly quote my notes app: One night, Milo comes back to his guest room to see it destroyed.. (While they were working, one of Jax's old boy toys wrecked it in a fit of rage over Milo getting close to Jax) As they don't have any other rooms available, Jax offers to let Milo stay in his for now. Milo accepts, then panics once he learns that Jax only has one bed. Jax doesn't see an issue, and they sleep in the same bed with a little persuasion. (THAT SOUNDS WEIRD, I PROMISE JAX ISNT A CREEP OR NOTHIN)

I wanna try this at least once in my life. For the Silmarillion ship event, I mean. I am pretty introverted. I can appear a bit stoic in public and be quiet most of the time, but I'm more open in private. Huge animal lover thanks to an animal-loving family. (I can get anxious if I'm too much away from my cat) I sometimes have a bad habit of overthinking things, so I use writing to keep me calm and focused. Writing is an important hobby to me and I can have a wild imagination sometimes. When I made her I want to make the least intimidating tank, so I made the smallest (yes she is min height), pinkest tank I could! She doesn't really have a lot of lore that I've come up with, but she's definitely lawful good, loves adventuring with her wolf pup, capybara, and Nigel her chocobo, and adores fishing.

A forest prince, eighth child with seven sisters, Galvin felt spare and at odds with his family as he became fascinated with dark magic after early encounters with voidsent that left him confused about their true monstrous nature. As he grew up and realised he was a rare son and due a life as a roaming forest warder and trophy husband, he felt too nerdy and bad at climbing trees for one and too gay for the other. After less than a year training with the other men of the forest and sensing they were growing sick of his poor aim with a bow and weedy lance arm, he slipped away in the night, travelled by boat to Limsa, and devoted himself to learning the forbidden maths of true magic. Drawn by the calling of the Echo, he joined the Scions on a whim despite having been warned by his eldest sister he was extremely susceptible to falling prey to a cult some day, and it was with much relief he realised they were not evil so his next letter home would not be met with a furious rescue party of dozens of furious armed viera storming the Waking Sands. He then picked up thaumaturgy and found one of his true loves. The other was teasing Urianger from across the Waking Sands, and flustering the shy elezen. Somehow, this has turned into a loving and stable relationship, mostly because they make up each other's deficits in a perfect puzzle piece joining and not because they are much alike, book learning aside. Though clumsy, brash and frequently knocked down, his determination to not be anything he once dreaded about his fate and to carve his idiosyncratic path, his raw stubborness got him through every trial thrown at the WoL. Barely. The only rules: always take them on as black mage and never give in and take the easy path (ooc: hit the 'very easy' button the trial is begging me to do by take 8) His witchcraft and void lore honed, he stumbled into the art of the reaper, and formed a pact with the voidsent he had felt himself bound to since youth, a keening sad creature that aimlessly wandered and wailed; these cries having once pierced his heart, he found it easy to reach out and make the connection once more, and binding the voidsent to his purpose, it found direction and he found a combat art that he excelled at - provided you allow that it's really the voidsent doing all the work lifting that heavy scythe, and Galvin is merely casting the spells. Having surmounted the main story, he retired immediately to the island farm, and spends his time pulling turnips and lazing about, often with Urianger at his side, and it is important to say, for Galvin, achieving doing nothing at all is in itself the most incredible achievement for a lifelong avoider of - well, everything - who crawled and moaned and complained and fussed so hard to get there.

“You gonna eat any more?”

You shift your gaze up towards the yellow-green inkling standing above you after adding your dirty plate to the pile of many. You focus back on the ground below you, or your hand, or the hem of your shirt. Anywhere but Rider.

“Not right now. I prefer to eat often rather than lots at once, it’s harder to battle with a heavy stomach.”

Interactions between you two aren’t very smooth, huh? It’s not like you mind, but you can tell he’s trying to get you talking. Why is he so interested? Is it because he considers you a challenge? Has he even seen your battles? Stealth has, so it would make sense that Rider has as well.

Rider takes a deep breath in and sighs. You look over at him, wondering what’s wrong, but not saying it aloud.

“You. You’re strong, but you came outta nowhere. I need to know more about you.”

Well, that makes things plain and simple, doesn’t it? Wrong, you have no excuses to escape. This means you’re going to have to come up with some fake life stories, and keep it realistic. You’ve already spent some time coming up with your lore before, and now it’s time to test it. The most important part is confidence.

“Alright, shoot. What do you wanna know?”

He looks around, assessing the current company and deciding that here isn’t a good spot. He shoots you a side eye, hinting at wanting to go somewhere else. You slowly follow behind, looking back at the big group of people, trying to see if anyone is going to notice that you left. Tasha gets a glance of you leaving, and you give her a quick wave of your hand. She gives you a nod and you continue to follow Rider.

The two of you make your way to a hole-in-the-wall cafe. You didn’t have any drinks to wash the curry down, so this is actually kind of nice. You order something small, and Rider makes sure you’re as comfortable as you’re gonna get before he starts asking you stuff. Way to make it obvious, mr. skeptical.

“Where are you from?”

“Calamari county, just moved recently.”

“Where did all the skill come from? They don’t have turf or ranked out there.”

“Parents were big fans but were never any good, so they trained me as much as they could get from videos and live streams in hopes that I’d enjoy it. Good thing I did, or I’d have nothing else going for me.”

You take a sip of your drink. This isn’t too bad. This should be over soon, right?

“Let’s battle. I want to see your skill face-to-face”

Carp.

Rider’s supposed to go do hero mode with Goggles anytime now, and you don’t want to mess with that.

“I want more time to learn my team, and to get better with them before taking you on. You know you’re kind of a big deal, right?”

You chuckle a bit, doing your best to still make yourself seem like just a chill fan of his.

“Then a 1v1.”

It takes you no time to respond. Now that you’ve met your teammates, you don’t want to fight without them anymore.

“No. I’m not ready to battle without my team. They have my back and I have theirs, that’s how we’re strong.”

He’s about to object, but there’s nothing he can do to convince you, and he knows it. He sighs again, you can tell you’ve annoyed him. You do make a somewhat valid point, though.

“Fine. I’ll be waiting for the day your team is ready to battle. ‘Till then, focus on being able to defeat me.”

You can’t just let him end it like that, you’re not just gonna let him sound cool and leave.

“I’m not just gonna focus on winning against you, I’ll focus on getting stronger to beat everyone. I’m not a one-trick pony.”

He stands up and takes your drink to the trash along with his,

“Alright, you do that. I’ll see you around, then.”

“‘Kay then. Be safe.”

The words left you unintentionally. Your mind was preoccupied with how hero mode was coming up, and how he’ll have to fight a bunch of octarians.

“ ‘Scuse me?”

“I meant don’t hurt yourself training. I know you’re gonna work hard to try and beat me and my team, but don’t get yourself injured.” 

‘Yeah, smooth. Now that makes it too personal, good job, idiot.’

“Same goes for you. You seem like the type to work your ass off if you want a new skill, even if it hurts you.”

He makes his way out the door and goes back to his team, pretending nothing ever happened.

You make your way over to your team after hearing the waitress bid you goodbye, which made you realise that Rider must have paid for the both of you. That sly-

“There you are!”

Leo was quick to notice you, and you wonder why until you see that the only people left in the plaza are yours and Goggles’ teams.

‘Why do I have to be stuck with the main character? He could become agent 3 any time now, right? Wasn’t he on his way to a team meetup, though? That means it’s probably gonna happen tomorrow. I hope I’m right about this.’

“Well, I’m ready to go home.”

It doesn’t work though, because Milo, Leo, Bobble, and Goggles standing in the same vicinity means that there’s no chance at silence. Headphones slowly makes her way over to Tasha, you assume she’s complementing her skills with her charger. Tasha offers a nod, and that’s about it. Specs comes up to you nervously, and tries to pretend to be as casual as possible. Of course he’s failing, this is Specs.

“How are you such a good team leader?” He quickly pushes his glasses up on his face, distracting himself from the scary presence he’s assumed from you, “Most squids don’t even recognise me as Team Blue’s leader. It’s almost embarrassing.”

You feel bad for the guy, but there isn’t much you can do to help. You gently put a hand on his shoulder and try to make yourself seem a bit more friendly before giving him your best answer:

“No idea, dude.”

You immediately see the way he gets all mopey, letting his glasses fall down his face a bit and you let out a small laugh.

“But seriously, Tasha’s honestly more of a leader than I probably will ever be. She’s better with schedules and organising practices, my only job is to show off and shake the opponent’s hand at the end of any official matches if and when they start comin’ my way.”

“Wait, you haven’t been a part of any official matches yet? But your team is so strong!”

He’s not wrong, you guess you never really thought to join any tournaments or anything. It’s not like you’ve been around long enough for too many to occur, anyways.

“Team just wants to focus on getting stronger for now.”

You see Leo twirl Bobble in a big hug, putting her down and finally bidding them goodbye.

“Bye bye! We should hang out again soon!”

hello i come to you bearing gifts (my rambles about the Security Breach era of the Rewrite)

so, a few important things to note:

the Glamrocks, at least, in their canon form, don't exist. they do have Equivalents, though

Malhare (Glitchy Rabbit Boy) DOES exist..but he's a lot less powerful. he's more a rogue computer program (that's also a small piece of Afton's soul/conscience) that can only manipulate electronics. what he does to Vanny is less outright mind control and more along the lines of him manipulating a Very fucked up and traumatized young woman and then asking her "Aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you wanna go APESHIT?" and her answer being yes.

Vanny and her father have much larger roles in the lore. specifically, they are related to one of William's '87 victims (the Toy Bonnie kid, Terrence, specifically). Vanny is the kid's niece, and her father was his older brother.

Vanny and her father's last name is Warren. that's a fun Easter Egg that i'll let you find out yourself ;]

WHO'S READY FOR GEN 2 AFTON AND EMILY KIDS?? (Cameron, Gregory, and Cassie)

things are Very different. Mike and Sammy decided to do a small reboot of the franchise, just for nostalgia's sake and to give the local kids a place to hang out. the animatronics are quite different, but they're like. rebooted versions of the OG animatronics + just regular Blackjack (the lone survivor of Henry's attempt to finally end everything. yes, he's still sentient).

all of the games are rather different. Help Wanted (original) is more like a collection of smaller Fazbear-Related games (that, in the lore, was used as a way to connect the old Fazbear brand with the reboot) that the player can choose to play through (with Malhare being inside a Tomogatchi-type game of sorts) and having two major protagonists (Summer/Tape Girl and Vanny's father, Bill. although he sucks). Security Breach now Actually has five "nights" (days that Greg spends at the new restaurant mostly on his own; the player would have to complete various tasks to get through the "nights" and be able to leave). Ruin is just Cassie exploring an abandoned Freddy's building (specifically the Fnaf 2 building) and unknowingly being led towards Vanny by Malhare mimicking her friend's voice (Gregory). she doesn't die, thank God. haven't figured Help Wanted 2 out just yet, but it involves Mike's older son, Cameron, having A Bad Time (maybe it'll be similar to a Fnaf 4 situation, where nothing's real and it's a nightmare/dream, except it's lore related stuff and paranormal in nature. i'm also keeping the whole theme of "What Makes You So Special?" because it still fits with the personality i have for Cam: a child with popular parent(s) who just tries to keep out of the spotlight. Cam doesn't know why he's getting involved with the Paranormal Shit out of nowhere, nor why it's happening in his dreams).

Vanny is a copycat killer, but she was kinda still manipulated by Malhare. y'know; a mix of canon and what i think would be a cool idea.

so now: A Brief Plot Summary Of The Games!

Help Wanted: Summer tries dealing with the paranormal Glitch Hare on her computer while trying to figure out why he's here. We also learn, apparently, that William is MARGINALLY (note the word choice here) a better father than Vanessa's father.

Security Breach: Charlie would like to relax and enjoy her afterlife, but apparently William's trying to kill his grandson so she's having to team up with a sentient robot fox to keep this gremlin from dying. How does she team up with the fox? By possessing the other robots for brief periods of time to warn and give advice to her nephew (? in a sense) to keep him from dying.

Ruin: Cassie just wants to explore an abandoned building, William's still pissed that Vanny didn't kill his grandson so now he's trying to get her to kill an Emily child (this would only end even Worse for him because Sammy WILL go ballistic if his daughter dies), and Charlie has to help her niece NOT get killed (the mask this time around is a Puppet Halloween Mask that Charlie can possess at will, and she speaks to Cassie while she wears the mask).

Help Wanted 2: Autistic preteen who also deals with selective mutism has The Worst Fucking Time while dreaming, and does not understand why the spirits of dead kids (and his dead grandfather, who is currently being tortured in hell) are so desperate to want to speak to him as he sleeps.

Random Animatronic: What makes you so special?

Ough sb is one of my favorite eras for the rewrite, I remember when we were at ren Faire and you explained some of the plot to me!! Anyways. My beloveds as always, sweet bebbies
