How I Would Book Roman Finally Losing At Least One Of His Titles:
With how WWE is set up right now, I feel the logical person to beat Roman is Sami Zayn. I can see the way this story is going. I feel like it's building to a big gaslighting reveal of The Bloodline turning on Sami. Leaving him both physically beaten but heartbroken too. Because Sami actually cares about The Bloodline. He's bought in and he loves them like an adopted family. He's taken more than his fair share of hits for this family. He wants to be part of it. Maybe because of his history of being turned on by those close to him (Kevin Owens being a prime example). So Sami longs to belong. So how I would do it is have the next two months play up Sami trying to prove to Jey Uso why he is there for him and the family as a whole. Sami can even help Jimmy & Jey retain the tag titles a few times. Even goes to bat for Jey when Roman gets mad at him. Winning Jey over in the end. Then we get to the Rumble and Sami earns himself a spot in the match. He tells Roman he'll win and go on to Mania and he'll even lay down for Roman. Roman just laughs at Sami however. Not believing he'll win. Telling Sami that he's a loyal henchman but he's not the wrestler he once was. The Smackdown before the Rumble, Sami is in a triple treat match were the winner gets the number 30 slot, the loser gets the number 1 slot and the person who's not involved in the decision gets 15. When it looks like Sami might win, Solo interferes and he attacks Sami when Sami thinks he's going to help him. It can be a really sad moment. Sami ends up being beaten down by all members of the Bloodline except Jey. Jey is there but he can't bring himself to do it. Even Jimmy attacks Sami. This leads to Sami being the one not involved in the decision, making him number 15. We get to the Rumble and once again the Bloodline attack Sami. Beating him down backstage as he arrives at the arena. Sami makes it to the Rumble and he guts it out to win, hurt but he manages. The next two months building to maina involve The Bloodline beating Sami down almost weekly. But never Jey. This leads to Roman beating down Jey again for not being loyal. Jey just takes the beating and then vanishes for the last few weeks of this build. Sami ends up facing Solo and Jimmy on the last Smackdown before Mania in a handicap match. Leaving him with only Roman left. Mania comes and Sami comes out in his old Underdog From The Underground gear. He fights Roman and just when it looks like he's going to lose, Jey comes back and Roman order him to attack Sami but he Superkicks Roman into the corner, Helluva Kick, 1-2-3.

Holy WarGames Batman!
You can never say that you don’t get your money’s worth when it comes to a NXT:TakeOver PPV and WarGames was no exception!
Whether it be Io Shirai flying off the top of the cage with a garbage can over her head or Pat McAfee doing a swanton bomb from the heavens, this one was another classic from NXT. Plus, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher put together one brutal war for themselves too. Johnny Gargano became the first 3-time North American Champion, uncovering his new Scream partner in Austin Theory. You know it’s a really good PPV when an above average strap match between Dexter Lumis and Cameron Grimes is probably the low man on the totem pole. Grimes continues to get better each and every week with his versatility and strange personality. He reminds me of a bigger Buzz Sawyer.
Injuries? Sure, got them too! Candice LeRae’s broken wrist and Gargano’s split mouth complete with stitches top the charts.
At the end of the day, Raquel Gonzalez gets elevated into the NXT Women’s Championship picture by pinning Shirai. The Undisputed Era remain kings of the WarGames cage. McAfee proves he’s one tough SOB too!
In the end, WarGames is your Star of the Week!

It’s only a matter of time before we get two-straps Asuka!

— WWE (@WWE) December 8, 2020
The Hardy Bros? Hilarious! Riddle’s growing on me. His in-ring work is unquestioned. His antics outside it are becoming funnier each week.
The only RECKONING in RETRIBUTION should be taking the masks off and clearing them of the silly names. It’s Mia Yim. It’s Mia Yim. It’s Mia Yim already!
And like that, business is back in motion! @CedricAlexander picks up the win, and leaves #TheNewDay with a statement. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/tCPwbwufIJ
— WWE (@WWE) December 8, 2020
Cedric Alexander is playing The Hurt Business perfectly. He’s a main event player and is proving it each and every week with back-to-back singles victories over The New Day. How long is it before he says I want a shot at Bobby Lashley’s US Title too?
Is it me or are we headed for a screwjob by The Miz and Morrison on AJ Styles in his upcoming WWE Championship match with Drew McIntyre? Just a gut feeling here.
Things have EXPLODED backstage between @DMcIntyreWWE & @WWESheamus on #WWERaw!!! … Or have they? pic.twitter.com/Kkvj1NBR6N
— WWE (@WWE) December 8, 2020
Having Drew McIntyre and Sheamus fight it out in the back after an inadvertent brogue kick to the WWE Champion led to a loss in the ring was beautiful. Fight each other. Beat up an unsuspecting bystander. Go get a pint.
Really missed Alexa Bliss this week. Sure, Bray Wyatt, it’s for her own safety. But it’s definitely not as much fun without Miss Bliss.

It’s a week of returns for NXT. And that’s bad news (sorry Wade Barrett) for the men’s roster as Karrion Kross leads the list of returning superstars. I give credit to Damian Priest for stepping up to the challenge, but that’s a challenge with Kross and Scarlett that he’s going to lose. Kross and his NXT Championship that he gave up due to injury will meet again soon I’m sure.
Back too is Drake Maverick, Malcolm Bivens with Tyler Rust, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Austin Theory and the NXT Champion Finn Balor. It remains to be seen who will face Balor at New Year’s Evil on January 6th, but it seems everyone from Pete Dunne to Kross to Priest to a whole host of others are in the mix.
“The Way” in-ring promo just went on too long and was too forced I thought. Theory and Indie Hartwell just felt like 3rd and 4th wheels out there as they just can’t match LeRae and Gargano on the mic.

— WWE (@WWE) December 10, 2020
Raquel Gonzalez looks the part of a big-time player and is finding her way into the spotlight. Funny that just one year ago, we were saying the same things about Rhea Ripley and then the pandemic hit. I’m not sure if Gonzalez is ready for the NXT Women’s Title just yet, but it would be intriguing to see her as champ and how LeRae would react to it.

Loved that the contract signing between Sasha Banks and Carmella to open the show DIDN’T take place in the ring. Something a little different was a bit refreshing having Carmella backstage. Plus, we get a main event title match out of it too! Poor Sommelier!
No surprise that we’re getting a tag team title defense for The Street Profits against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode after Ziggler pinned Montez Ford Friday night. Good match to advance the feud and set up the title match coming up this Friday night.
Hated the countout victory by Sami Zayn over Big E in a non-title Intercontinental Championship Match. It did nothing for either guy. I like Zayn but here’s hoping this is the start of something big for Big E, pun intended. If you’re going to break him away from The New Day, there has to be a point. First, the I-C Title? Then, maybe a challenge for the Universal Championship down the road too?

Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns is going to be one insane TLC match. Owens promo was one of his best. Surrounded by his “friends” chair, table and ladder, KO hit hard on his family and just how good Reigns is but that he still vows to get back his Universal Championship. Reigns is so good, just being backstage looking so smug while Jey Uso attacks Owens is priceless. Having Paul Heyman remind him that everything is done on his time instead of running into the ring to fight KO reminds us that less is more. Then, it all turns personal when Reigns finds Owens in the back, beats him down and reminds the Owens family that he’s the one that puts food on the table and that he could take it off theirs. Delicious and well placed right in the middle of the show while the ladies take the main event.
Natalya & Billie Kay. What a waste! We will, though, take a Riott Squad victory anytime we can get it.
Chad Gable is sounding more and more like Kurt Angle and I dig it! I’m hoping Otis is not the only one to join Gable’s training group. Not a bad first pairing either, even in defeat to Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura.

Carmella’s entrance – absolute smoke show! WOW! The trash talk during the match brought back a little old school feel to it. Carmella was pretty good before but she’s taking it to another level with this latest reincarnation. That was a really good match before the DQ ending. The WWE is relying too much on the DQ finish these days. The aftermath of the match – OMG! Smashing bottles over Banks while sipping champagne – very heelish! Looks like we’ll get round 2 at TLC as scheduled.

SmackDown hands down with the best show of the week!
Parting shots:
Having the WWE ThunderDome travel from Orlando to Tampa had little effect on SmackDown. Moving from the basketball arena to the spacious home of the Tampa Bay Rays, I thought the WWE would use some of that space to its advantage. There may be more screens, but maybe down the road we’ll see some additions but it’s first show in Tampa didn’t look a whole lot different than the last show in Orlando.
TLC PPV – Updated Card
WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre vs. AJ Styles
Universal Championship TLC Match: Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks vs. Carmella
The Fiend vs. Randy Orton
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka & Lana
RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day vs. Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin
Coming up this week:
RAW: Firefly Fun House at WWE ThunderDome
NXT: KUSHIDA & Leon Ruff vs. Johnny Gargano & Austin Theory
SMACKDOWN (on FS1): SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode Bianca Belair vs. Bayley

my opinion on the 4/23 smackdown
meant to do this a lot earlier but yknow. Stupidity is Rampant where I am involved. also btw I watched the episode but I have a bad memory so I'm getting most of my info from an article im linking at the end
anyway!!
the beginning
if I remember correctly, cesaro was about to cut a promo but then seth interrupted him and cut a promo and they argue just a little and then jey interrupted both of them and cut a maybe promo and seth and jey team up and start circling cesaro and it looked badass and then daniel bryan interrupted him and cut a promo (basically owning seth and jey) and then ROMAN interrupted everyone and started bitching and then roman left and commercial break and boom tag match. after a match that lasts through two commercial breaks and 45 minutes with seth up and fucking leaving ¾ of the way through, daniel and cesaro win.
I love and hate this because a) it's the closest seth and roman have come to interacting in a damn while [to my knowledge anyway] and hey, daniel hyping cesaro is fucking great, and jey. jey!, b) it felt strange to have roman address everyone but seth because he literally verbally addressed everyone but seth. yeah seth was dealt a rain check but still I want WORDS man. CONVERSATION. it also strikes me as strange that seth left jey to the mercy of the face team because "I don't have time for this, I'm seth freakin' rollins" and he's AWOL for the rest of the show. dubious.
then theres a backstage segment with adam pearce, sonya deville, and apollo crews in which apollo complains about having to defend his title tonight (that's how wrestling works, genius). adam eventually reveals that apollos opponent is kevin owens, which, HUH?!? what happened to beating sense into sami?? tho maybe he's planning to get a title to prove a point to sami or something. it felt weirdly sudden to me either way.
then jey shows up, blah blah you disrespected the tribal chief blah blah and then he says he feels sick and smth about getting put down. typical guard dog jey imo, nothing incredibly notable.
then your regularly scheduled Women's Match That Feels Like It Was Thrown In Arbitrarily featuring nia jax and tamina. reginald, shayna, and natalya were also there, because why wouldn't they be. shayna interferes and it's not seen by the ref, but tamina wins regardless, so all is well I guess? idk I just wish there was more depth in the women's division and less tag action and a LOT less reginald.
KO shows up, talks about how it's his first IC title match in years, how he was delighted, how he wasnt expecting this but isn't complaining, how he's gonna knock apollo down, and then big e shows up because he's cool like that! then big es like "hahaha ur cool n shit but this is my match" and kevin goes "yeah this is ur match but not this week because this week is my match and I'll be champ" and they go "hahahahahaha" yknow the white girl fake laugh
it was funny to me but I didn't expect kevin still.
daniel bryan then tells adam pearce to make the match between roman and cesaro and when adam says he'll try dbry tells him to do more than try. persistent.
then comes the ic title match! sami joins commentary midway through the match and watches apollo retain after quite a bit via Surprise Rollup My Beloved (/s), kevin hit the stunner after losing, and the huge azeez guy fuckin' nail kevin in the face. then, sami gets up and dances over kevin which is the funniest damn thing
anyway I love kevin and hate apollo but I'm glad things ended how they did because this really is big es match.
then this segment, which I can only describe with this screenshot of the article I'm using to refresh my memory
Tumblr media
just paul heyman rambling. typical.
then apollo shows up, talks, gets attacked by big e, and then gets checked up on by azeez.
then, we see aleister black (good to know you're alive, buddy!) and hes surrounded by candles, wearing glasses with a book in his hands. he tells a story from his childhood that involves dragons and then cuts a promo that digs at the viewers. I think aleisters character is interesting but I was also on video call with my partner so I didn't catch all of it BDIXNAODBSKS
then we see dolph ziggler and robbery noodle, and they cut a promo on how rey mysterio is epic but his son has "big gucci shoes" to fill. then we get the street profits, who are interrupted by BAYLEY MY BELOVED. she cuts a promo on how she's gonna kick biancas selfish spoiled ass basically BUT THE FUNNY PART is that montez was on the phone tattle tailing on bayley TO BIANCA. bianca shows up and a match between bianca and bayley is made for backla- scuse me, wrestlemania backlash. seeing bianca and bayley in the same frame made my heart happy regardless of context.
the mysterios take on the alpha academy, have some close calls, and then rey wins with the 619 as he does. smooth. there was nothing overly remarkable about it. it was just...a good match. wrestling.
then Good Ole Tony (cesaro) comes out with dbry. they taunt (?) roman, who comes out and challenges daniel for his own title, blatantly ignoring cesaro. BUT if daniel loses he has to leave smackdown. cesaro urges daniel to accept, and daniel does, loudly.
overall:
I think it was okay! I've always preferred smackdown to raw but there were things I couldn't make sense of, like kevin owens's seemingly sudden addition to the IC title scene and the women's tag matches in general. I was also miffed that seth just kinda...disappeared...in the middle of his match...and didn't show up...for the rest of the show. could just be me.
thank you for coming to my TEDtalk

SURVIVOR SERIES 2020 PREDICTIONS
This year might have sucked, but this ppv won’t, I can guaran-dam-tee it.
ROMAN vs DREW
Look, I cannot deny the rocket up Roman’s ass and what it does to my peepee whenever I look at him, but as a Scotsman, I cannot choose anyone else to win this match but Drew, that’s my goddamn brother right there!!
But
I do actually think this match will be booked for a non-finish, of one of two possible scenarios.
Either they batter each other for so damn long that they just have to call the match a draw or a no contest (cause legit they can’t just let them wrestle for hours on end, there’s a schedule to keep here pal!). This potentially could set up each champs next feuds heading into the new year quite well as both men will be savagely hurting on Raw and Smackdown (less so for Roman as he’ll have longer to heal but he can still be weaker from it).
Or the match could be stopped in the end by interference by whoever decides to run in, whether that’s say Bray (or heaven forbid Randy AGAIN) for Drew or, and this is where I get excited, Seth for Roman.
Considering where the Murphy issue has went on Smackdown, he could and should be heading in a more Rey direction anyways, so what the hell is Seth gonna do now that his issues with Rey are done and Murphy has abandoned him, why, try and take the champs title of course (even though he’s in the elimination match, perhaps Jey does something to piss Seth off so he attacks Roman?). So that’s how I potentially see this match going. Indeed, you could possibly suggest that Undertaker comes out, chokeslams Roman and sets up their Wrestlemania 33 rematch unfinished business shindig but that as much wishful thinking as Seth is at this point. (1-0 to Raw either way I guess or 0-0 or 1-1 whichever way, it’s not in Smackdowns favour)
ASUKA vs SASHA
Well well well, what do we have here?! Why it’s only the MATCH OF THE NIGHT. You’re hearing it here first (shut up yes you are), this is by far going to be the BEST damn match of the night. These two women, notorious for wrecking themselves are going to wreck each other no matter what. No shenanigans, just straight up the two best women in the company knocking lumps and years off each other. In the end.........I can’t technically decide who should win, because no matter who wins, the other person is going to look a bit bad as a result.
But since I have to choose, I’m going with Asuka.
*As you’ll see already and as we go on I’ve sided with Raw here and I have a plan for this later so stick around*
(2-0 to Raw)
NEW DAY vs STREET PROFITS
Now technically I want New Day to win for obvious reasons, but I think the Street Profits will be given the win, not just as a dangling carrot to keep Smackdown metaphorically in the race, or at least have them on the board, but mainly because the Street Profits are THE tag team WWE has to hang their hat on for the future. The New Day have been around for the better part of 6 years at this point (let that sink in folks) and they’ve just separated Big E from the group so they’re on the downturn in their careers even though they’re your world famous 8 time champs. I could easily see WWE just having Big E coming out to help the guys out to win, but I’m sticking with my guns on the Profits.
(2-1 to Raw)
BOBBY vs SAMI
Oh lord, Bobby Lashley is going to put Sami in the Hurt Lock after 2 minutes of him running around and tap him out in the blink of an eye. Interestingly though, this is the match that has a lot of potential for setting up new feuds or having a surprise appearance for either mans next opponents etc. But aye, big Bobby is gonna put the big hurt on Sami and it’s gonna be quick.
(3-1 to Raw)
MEN’S RAW vs MEN’S SMACKDOWN
By the power of a thousand shenanigans, the Raw men’s team are winning this, it’s written in the stars to be how it goes down and it’s also written to be funny as a motherfucker. I can honestly see it being that all the big beefy boys absolutely kill themselves and everyone else throughout the entire match whilst also fighting each other, when all of a sudden AJ finds himself in a position where he’s the last man standing against Otis, but ends up winning anyways because he’s the best and Otis is a goof (also maybe potentially Shaemus might do a tricky nasty on Otis behind the ref’s back). So Men’s Raw to win, AJ and Otis to be the last men.
(4-1 to Raw)
WOMEN’S RAW vs WOMEN’S SMACKDOWN
Good god (the) almighty (Bobby Lashley), the same story is pretty much going to happen here but in a more brutal and violent display as the Smackdown women’s team get ripped limb from limb by the Raw team. With the main shenanigan of this match being the Raw team trying to constantly one-up each other, especially Shayna and Nia whom I see one of them being eliminated as a decoy for the other to eliminate someone else. I would suggest it’s Nia that’s eliminated and Shayna takes advantage of it............... Now this would all be true and would have come to pass, if Lana wasn’t on the Raw team, so now I have to rewrite my entire prediction, excuse me.......
The Smackdown team will win, because of the in-fighting in the Raw team leading Nia and Shayna to be eliminated very quickly and leaving the rest to be easily picked off by the Smackdown team. Now interestingly, I’d have it be that Lana goes on a tear and ends up eliminating 2 or even dare I say 3 of the 5 women in a row before succumbing to the overwhelming pressure of the Smackdown team, who them go on to win with Bianca and Bayley standing tall. So Women’s Smackdown to win, Lana, Bianca and Bayley to be the last women. (4-2 to Raw)
DUAL BRAND BATTLE ROYAL ON THE KICK-OFF
Don’t know anything about this but to fit my narrative Raw wins and the final score of the ppv is Raw 5-2 Smackdown, or 4-2, or 5-3, either way Raw wins.
This leads me into a narrative that Roman takes this as a personal slight and embarrassment on him and decides to impose himself as the tribal chief of not just the Samoan Dynasty, but of Smackdown itself, and starts to rule with an iron fists, interfering or having an involvement in every single match that happens going forward. He then recruits a women to be his vassal on the women’s side of Smackdown and since Bayley and Bianca were the only Women’s survivors and winners at the ppv he has them go 1-on-1 to decide who will be the tribal queen.
And that’s how we go forward. But who the hell knows what‘s gonna happen, I’m just a dirty mark who has no clue about the industry or how to write wrestling storylines better than the WWE creative so I’m a moron I guess.
Let me know what you think though if you read this garbage!

i know y'all didn't expand those tags. but i am FEELING so ill even elaborate
i want sami to be kicked out or leave voluntarily, unable to live with the idea that he's just being used by roman to beat up his only friend. and the usos to miss him so much they leave right after him.
i want sami to be kicked out and i want jey to attack roman. maybe not that night. not the next time it matters.
i want the boys to stay with roman no matter what
i want roman to lose and the usos to retain and to still keep their loser cousin around
i want the usos to retain and throw roman to the wolves of the locker room that are ready to tear him apart for his reign of terror as soon as he doesn't have the numbers game
i want cody to win undisputed with the help of the locker room that the bloodlines victimized
i want the usos to refuse to step in and help roman at mania following samis exile from the island of relevancy
i want solo to be the only one left on romans side be roman can make him better than his brothers and i want judgement day to try to do to him what they did to dominik
i want solo to be the first one to leave roman to die because sami was the first one to really respect him as a main roster star and not just as another useful set of fists in their corner
i want solo and sami to have a tag team and win a belt from the usos and for them to feud for the other one for months
i want sami and ko to be partners again after one last stunner to sami for stressing ko out like that for months on end
i want roman to lose his belts and lose his shit i want him to go off the deep end and isolate himself and be vulnerable to anyone who tries to manipulate him bc he just needs SOMEONE
i want roman to lose and be infuriated that samis still trying to be his friend because he can't understand what else sami could want from him besides a spot on the island of relevancy
i want roman to follow the usos around looking pitiful and staring off into space and for them to keep hyping him up but he's just checked out for a while
i want roman to come crawling back to sami and sami to be the only one to offer him a hand back up without question because sure it was a mess and dysfunctional but he did give sami a family, and he was under a lot of pressure, and it's okay, i acknowledge you. i SEE you. and i always have.
i want jey to finally kick roman right in the nuts bc he doesnt give a DAMN what the tribal chief says and he never has and he never will no matter what the stipulations make him say
i want jey to challenge roman for his freedom
i want jimmy to try and stay with roman be "i like sami but i love this family" without realizing it would cost him his brothers trust
i want jey to kick them both in the face and leave with sami and while solo lets it happen i want him to stay quietly at romans side
i want jey to be happy. oh my god do i want jey to be happy.
i want roman to lose the weight of his titles and get to dick around with the usos
i want roman to feel relieved when cody pins him and he didnt give up he would NEVER give up but my god is he ever free
i want him and sami to do stupid little dances together and them to be on twice a week every week not to fight or intimidate or plot but to find where they belong now
i want it to be like the fog cleared all at once and he can breathe and be himself and the usos still love him anyway even if he wouldn't give a shit any them if the positions were reversed and they all know it
i want all three of them to tackle roman into a hug when he sits up crying and laughing and sobbing bc where do you go from the top of the mountain
i want sami to hold him in the middle of the ring the way he holds sami and tell him that while roman was using him, he wasn't using roman, and the belts never mattered to him
i want all crimes to be forgiven
and i want the belts to go to anyone but owens be i haven't forgiven him for ezekiel but specifically to cody because he already knows he's the best there ever was
