hemlo!! thank ya'll so so much for enjoying this lil comic series!! i know it's been a year since the first part, but most importantly i finished it 💀✨️

every single tags ya'll leave on me posts and past questions i recieve about this au is super appreciated, they make me smile the widest you have no clue!! im just a lil mad at myself that i couldn't expand on this au more so yall could have had more crumbs. irl stuff happened + still getting the hang of drawing and socializing again after years of doing neither of those 😭

but still, im glad i could share this comfort comic i made for myself, and for you guys too. it's a pretty personal one despite the characters not being mine 😅 i hope that you can walk away from this story believing (entirely or not) that someone out there still thinks of you, whether they're from a late/absent loved one who still wants the best for you or a dear friend who will make room in their hearts for you. life will never not be hard, but if you keep them close to your heart, adulting will be bearable 🫂

boyfriend iwaizumi hajime fixing your posture every time he sees you hunched over and slouching—the way he holds your shoulders and straightens it by rolling it back, thumbs pressing into your shoulder blades.

he gently pushes your lower back whenever he notices you curling into yourself, runs his fingers up your spine too.

and he does it all quietly, your only warning the feel of his hands on you.

it’s almost like he has a radar for it, some posture-sense that tingles every time your back is anything but straight.

when you complain about back pain, he snorts, mumbling a ‘wonder why’ before coming over to knead out the knots anyway.

he buys you an ergonomic chair to hopefully help out, even leaves x-rays and scans of bad backs lying around to give some subliminal message of what could happen if you don’t fix it now.

and when he takes you from behind, pushing down on your lower back to give him that arch he likes, he’s teasing, telling you that you only seem to listen when he has you like this.

he’s really starting to think, should he start fucking you with your back straight?

So how're you feeling after that final mission?

I'm not currently ok,but I will be.I just finished The Final Shape,so as I'm writing this, it's still fresh. I cried my eyes out for good long while.

I tagged this with spoilers, but for anyone without the tags blocked, spoilers below, you have been warned. (Go block your tags kiddos.)

It was a heartbreaking and a beautiful end to The Final Shape.It was well written and handled with grace and tact,and it evoked an emotional response in me, which in my opinion,is always a sign of good storytelling.

Cayde found his purpose he so desperately wanted, and he got to do so on his own terms.

Cayde will...quite literally always be there for my Guardian, just not in the original way I wanted or was expecting.

I knew what was going to happen the moment Cayde showed up in that final cutscene. He gave up his Light for my Ghost, for me, and I'll be eternally grateful for that.

He never wanted to be the Vanguard again. He didn't want to be stuck behind a desk, filing reports and doing paperwork. A Hunter's place isn't behind walls. It's out there in the wilds, exploring, and now I always get to take him with me.

I'll probably still be crying about this off and on days from now,so if anyone is giving out free hugs, I will gladly take one.

A random headcanon I’ll share about Gerome

When Gerome is about to go to sleep (in the tower) he ALWAYS says Goodnight to John.

“Goodnight John”

Loud enough for it to echo but not too loud for Pizza Head to hear.

He than would pat the wall softly and go to sleep.

He’d cry some nights..

“I miss you John..”

the original paper fell out and i keep telling myself I'll draw something OR commission a little something that i can stick in there and smile at every day. but it's been months and it hasn't happened yet

I don't know. I'm a Cloti; but I'm starting to believe that clerith won. Even if they make Cloti and Clerith canon in both scenarios and even if Cloti is statistically more popular worldwide, Clerith won the story and the romance and the focus. They got more romantic focus in the first game, second game, and in the AC movie. Even Nomura emphasized that it's up to the player but he thinks Cloud would be happier with Aerith(relationships wise)in that one interview after AC(Although he already clarified that he only said this because he would choose Aerith himself and later backtracked and then said he thinks Tifa is more suitable for Cloud. He probably said this cause of backlash). Even if Nojima, the writer of the game shows favoritism towards Tifa and CloTi so many devs show preference for Clerith happening in the game. The director, the Japanese fanbase, the animators, the composer, the editing team, the game developers, even the flipping translators, they ALL prefer Clerith and Aerith. So regardless of what Nojima prefers or wants(as he has written in his novels) it seems that everyone is against him and he will have no choice but to create a scenario where it looks like everyone wins, but also a scenario where Clerith gets the most focus. Thus, regardless of his intentions and his preferences, what would ultimately be factual is Clerith having the most spotlight and relevance within the story, and this is why regardless of everyone being canon in part 3, only Clerith will actually win because they are the ones who have, BOTH, the quality AND the quantity.
