I was thinking that I really want to cosplay 1863rd Han Sooyung, but I don't think anybody would recognize who I was if I went to a con. I know the recognition isn't what's important, but Han Sooyung is the most important person in the story (imo) and I'd want to share my love and appreciation for her with others. It's not that I would want people to think it's cool that I would be cosplaying her, but that I'd want to come across other people who know and love her

the thing about me is that I have this need to pick up every angel on supernatural by their scruff and place them into an enclosure that will allow them to, if not heal and become better, than at least to be petty and vindictive in a way that causes less death and destruction and is just kind of annoying. which I would argue is also good for them. let angels make choices where the consequences of their actions are non-existent rather than world-ending. teaches them free will in a safe, healthy way.

Jang Hayoung was right. Even if there was a wall, I had to write something on this wall. This was despite the fact that it might change what was originally written… I didn't want to be a person who only read. "Jang Hayoung, can you contact this person?" Once I thought about it, I had been acting as a reader the whole time. In order to see the ending that I wanted, I had to create a new story. In fact, I had already warped reality. I just didn't know yet who would read it. "Who?" I didn't know if the constellations would comply with my suggestions. Now that I opened a channel… if that person helped, the Revolutionary scenario would end without any problems.

Ohhh we're finally getting to the point where 1) Dokja is finally acknowledging to himself that he is the one who is changing the story and 2) that maybe that's exactly what he wants to do, even if he's terrified of no longer knowing what the future will hold.

The fact that he's actively choosing to switch from reader to writer while in the middle of the ongoing story...I'm not certain if that makes him more or less likely to be the author. I'm still leaning towards "he is" atm.

Also, Dokja's entire conversation with Hayoung about the constellations is also a real shifting point. Dokja admitting that while he views "constellations" as bad, he has to admit that some of them aren't bad. And just Dokja mentally going back and forth about whether he hates them all because of the fact that they watch on as others suffer in order to be entertained or if he wants to finally start seeing them as actual individual beings that he should at least try to reach out to because if he doesn't reach out how can they ever even hope to communicate.

The Doylist Argument for Crowley Being An Important Angel (Pre-Fall)

So I just read a great essay on all the arguments for why Crowley is Raphael by @cyan-cirby and rather than subjecting them to attaching my long-winded additions directly onto their post, figured I'd make my own.

(As a quick aside, I do think Crowley was probably Raphael specifically. It's just too big of an omission of archangels that People Have Actually Heard Of to include Gabriel and Michael, and then jump to lesser known archangel names like Uriel, then totally obscure names like Sandalphon while skipping Raphael, a goddamn Ninja Turtle of well-known archangel names. And I don't think Crowley was Lucifer because Satan is already a character and Neil point-blank said Satan and Lucifer are the same person, otherwise it's too confusing (never mind other evidence like that Crowley referred to Lucifer in the 3rd person in S1, but I digress).)

Anyway! There's plenty of fantastic essays like the one I shared above that go into the fresh new Season 2 evidence for why Crowley was Raphael or at the very least important and high-ranked before he Fell. But I'm a fresh (and still primarily) denizen of the other Neil Gaiman Recent TV Show Adaptation of The Sandman so I want to delve into why Crowley was An Important Angel because that's just how Gaiman writes.

- Crowley is the more Gaiman-y of the two characters and Aziraphale the more Pratchett-y. I’m not making this up from nothing, Pratchett and Gaiman have taken photos and done promotions for the Good Omens book where they modeled themselves that way and basically cosplayed those characters respectively.

- I'm a Pratchett Super Fan first and foremost and can say with some authority that Pratchett tends to write Normal People. Even his Special People are Normal People who have to put their socks on one at a time in the morning. However, his Normal People do Special Things. That's the point. He truly believes, deep down in his bones, in equality and it shows in his portrayal of his protagonists as normal people who rise to an extraordinary occasion.

-Aziraphale is Pratchett's angel in Good Omens and it follows from that that Aziraphale is a Normal Angel doing extraordinary things (defying Heaven’s will to save the world). It aligns with Pratchett's general writerly sensibilities that his angel who saves the world is just a normal low-ranked angel, nothing special by birth, who is fussy and imperfect but nevertheless rises to the challenge to do incredible things in a comedic way. That's how Pratchett's protagonists work.

- Gaiman writes Special People. Dream/Morpheus and the other Endless are born Special People. Rose in Sandman learns she is born Special. Shadow in American Gods learns he was born Special.

- Gaiman very often writes about protagonists who are mythological and/or magical and thus who are super powerful by birth. They are generally only limited either by their own emotional immaturity or by Cosmic Rules.

-Gaiman has also, on more than one occasion, inserted a character who rather resembles him and mirrors his sartorial choices of wearing all black into the story as a protagonist and then made them a Cool Character. Not a criticism, just sayin’, Dream/Morpheus and Crowley come from the same era in his career.

My point is, Crowley is the Gaiman character so, in my opinion, especially when you combine this hunch with the new lore additions in S2, there are some past authorial choices and sensibilities that lead me to believe that with sole creative control of Crowley’s arc and character background, as well Pratchett’s tacit collaborator blessing since this is Gaiman’s Character, we’re going to see a default to old habits and a continuation of this trend because authors are people and they tend to have their way of doing things.

Which is why I think we're going to learn that Crowley Is Special By Birth (being an archangel), super overpowered (like Dream), and only limited in achieving what he wants by Cosmic Rules and being emotionally stunted.

omg hi! i ended up using two different dresses, one with a top that matched uriel and one with the high low skirt and sewed them together (a dress that has both the correct top and bottom does not exist trust me). then i glued star rhinestones on the edges.

Roysophia HCs Pt.2

They're a nerd and jock couple. Roy likes to participate and listen to Sophia's nerdy interests.

Speaking of nerdy interests, they went to Comic-Con on the day that Roy proposed to her. Sophia was cosplaying in that one Erza Scarlett costume with the angel wings.

Sophia's parents absolutely love Lian. Everytime Roy and Sophia have work, they're always ready to come over and steal Lian from them. It's basically the trade offer meme.

They spent the first few years of their relationship traveling together until they finally decided to head back to Star City and settle down for good.

"Hey guys today I'm gonna try and escape from my girlfriend's bone crushing grip I hope I lose"

Both of them are lazy and don't wanna get up in the morning...but eventually will after Lian starts jumping on the bed.

One time when Kori took the other Titans girls to a swimsuit shoot, Roy went incognito as a cameraman to get pics of Sophia in the swimsuit she was wearing. He keeps those in a "secret stash"👀.

The rest of the Arrowfam welcomed Sophia with open arms! Mia and Emiko are so glad to have her as one of them meanwhile Connor is relentless in teasing Roy for acting up anytime she's near.

Symbolic wedding rings bc a I weep everytime a couple has symbolism. Sophia's is a ruby ring shaped like an arrow while Roy's is a diamond shaped like a pair of wings.

Everyone underestimates just how down bad Roy is for Sophia. Originally she was gonna take Elyon to her sisters Uriel and Makayla but Roy convinced her to bring her to the Titans just so he could see her again.

Roy and Lian are competing for the biggest fan of Sophia's homemade blueberry waffles and so far Lian's winning.

Roy will fistfight God if he has to for Sophia. He's 100% a guy who knows he could kill God and will.

Will be up at 2 in the morning having a conversation about the lore of a new show Sophia's watching.
