How I feel about this character: LOVE OF MY LIFE!!! from the moment I first saw her in s3 I knew I would be weirdly obsessed with her. aside from both actresses being extremely gorgeous, I just think she's a really fascinating character??? like name another character so devoted to their cause and dedicated to their con...also an evil woman taking advantage of my favorite character? hell yeah.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: sam!!!! though I don't know if I enjoy them as a traditional romantic pairing...mostly they're just fun to psychoanalyze and put in fucked up situations. she made herself his mother mary you guys!! also dean...I think her being one of his mirrors means they should fuck. also anna...and meg...and ava in an alternate universe where she won the special kids hunger games <3

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: mostly I really wished we could have seen an alternate version of s5 where she lived. just to see her dynamic with lucifer and if she would have remained loyal to him till the end. also I think her and meg would have been really good foils of each other smh

So, i never invested any time or energy in Sebastian, bc as a BIPOC, i cannot afford to get wrapped up in rich white ppl. I learned that lesson v. young. But i did invest almost a decade of energy and time in this fandom, and what a mistake. What i know now is that these types of fans purposefully drive any POC out of the fandom, so they can enjoy their white faves without discomfort. They don't want to put in the work to think critically where their money is going and supporting.

at this point, i’m starting to learn all of that now. i started admiring sebastian bc of bucky and then i guess it just spiraled into me stanning him, watching most of his other projects, etc. i gotta admit, a lot of his white (and nonblack) fans/stans are kinda the reason that i hate him at this point.

i’m usually on twitter for the most part, and when he hasn’t posted about blm, there were so many white fans that were bending over backwards to defend him, and gave 8 million reasons as to why we shouldn’t ‘cancel’ him (which no one was doing). and then on here, it was basically the same type of people who either didn’t care about it (“it’s not my place to talk abt it”) or pulled some “he doesn’t have to talk about it, he’s not an activist” type bullshit.

also i stg every time i’ve seen sebastian get called out, mackie somehow gets called out too?? and i guess i specifically mean that the only times i’ve ever seen mackie get “cancelled” is when something’s going on w sebastian. like?? i’m p sure when sebastian had posted his initial thing on blm, people complaining abt that had some how turned into “mackie is a trump supporter!!”, and it was literally just a shit joke, taken out of context, that he had already owned up to and apologized for. people literally only bring him down bc sebastian’s going down smh. (and all the shit they’re bringing up is literally almost all out of context)

and then the marvel fandom! people are so quick to say that they hated black panther bc it wasn’t “comic accurate” (*cough* racism *cough*), sideline characters of color and then pepper in the fact that those same characters are their “fave” or “underrated” (gee i wonder why), say that they can’t write a character of color (specifically a black character) bc they don’t “understand” them as well as white characters, headcannoning other characters as captain america before we’ve even seen sam wilson hold the shield on screen, saying ships between their white fave and a character of color would be “better off as friends”, when y’all know damn well that samsteve was the meet cute of the century.
