i’m just supposed to go on with my life? when John Winston Ono Lennon yearned so much to be with Paul McCartney again that he wrote the line “Now and then / I want you to return to me,”… And Sir James Paul McCartney after 43 years of mourning his partner, a person that knew him better that anyone, change this line to: “Now and then / I want you to be there for me”. In a sort of long distance conversation separated by time. Showing how John wanted Paul to return to him and Paul now only wishes for John to be here with him, by his side, now and during those past 43 years. This also explains why Paul decided to leave out the 2nd verse - the demo is from John’s perspective, the single is from Paul’s.

It is known that Paul and John communicated through songs, even during their beatles days, but mainly during their solo careers. This song feels like the one last conversation. John’s plea to Paul to come back to him is finally answered by 40+ years of grief and love for the man that was his partner since they were teenagers.

Ray and Boston X Truth

Ray has been on my bad boy list for a couple weeks and I’m hoping they changes ep10 but was rewatching series only the SandRay bits cause normally I just rewatch the BostonNick scenes and something from the BostonRay theory started to show it self again. Soo I wanna talk about it since I am doubting BostonRay will happen in these last eps. It’s the recurring segment on my tumblr page BostonRay brain soup.

While Ray uses the truth to dodge with puppy eyes.

Boston wields the truth like a sword on others with a shit eating grin.

Both are endearing/sinister in their own way and it happens over and over again.

I’ll be quick both men love to use with the truth as a tool for their own ends. Ray is just a lot less subtle with it I assume because he’s normally not sober. I wonder if telling the truth is a habit Ray picked up from Boston. While Boston picked up the sweet smile and pushing from Ray using that so often with his honesty. Boston often uses the truth as a hammer when backed into a corner with a lie. Ray and Boston never seems stressed by the consequences of his honesty. But when it comes to Boston and Ray’s arguments conversations both of them are at a distinct disadvantage since they are used to the others antics so they dissolve into violence and pointed attacks on each other’s hidden selves. They know each-other the best beside their partners.

Once again SandNick our visible besties BostonRay forever invisible besties is the conclusion I draw from this.

so you think if they met under normal circumstances, they wouldn't have loved each other as much?

i think they always would’ve absolutely adored each other but would’ve had less reason to rely on it or maybe even be confronted with it so much. like you could argue that in the very beginning (even just pre-abduction) circumstances are relatively “normal.” they’re just two people assigned to work together, and yeah they’re investigating weird shit! but it’s mostly fine! and they’re instantaneously drawn to each other and obsessed with each other. i think there are qualities in both of them (mulder’s passion and gentleness and humility, scully’s curiosity and loyalty and introspection) that are just inherent, they’re not caused by the circumstances. they just are. that’s just them. and they would’ve always been attracted to those things in each other. but their circumstances draw them out, and make them depend on each other.

It’s my boyfriend’s birthday today!!! I’m posting a bit late but still. I wanted to talk a little about him

I don’t know how I got so lucky. I made a dark shitpost and ended up meeting the cutest, funniest, smartest, most beautiful boy through a comment on it. And he’s…gah, fuck. He’s perfect. I love him so much. He can banter, which is insanely funny, but also? He motivates me to be a better version of myself??? I’m more creative than I have been in years, I’m working on myself, I’m getting more comfortable with who I am…ah

I love him. So much. So so much

I’m so grateful that we wandered into each other’s lives. I just hope I can be at least half the positive influence in his life that he is in mine
