Okay, so it looks like someone is going around mass requesting again, which means this is a perfect opportunity to touch on fandom etiquette.

Mass requesting is EXTREMELY rude, my loves. It shows a considerable lack of respect to the content creators. I know that I personally love receiving requests or AU ideas, but when I see that you’ve sent the same ask word for word to multiple other blogs? Even if I was considering it, I’m certainly not now. If I’m going to send in a request, I’m going to consider the author’s skillset and whether or not I think that they’re the correct person to write what I’m looking for. For example, I’m not going to ask a known non-Swiftie to write a TSwift inspired AU.

Additionally, when you send the same ask word for word to multiple different accounts, it’s definitely coming off as you’re trying to pit creators against each other, whether you’re meaning to or not. In the future, it’s better to send in an ask to an author you actually want to do the AU and wait for a response.

And @bobgasm said it perfectly in our conversation. We get wanting to make sure someone can do it, but mass requesting is a sure fire way to make sure no one is going to touch the request/idea. And if you wait for one creator to respond, another creator might see their response and say “Hey! That’s actually something that I could do and want to write for!”

This is not meant to be mean, but it’s been happening quite a bit recently. It’s just basic fandom etiquette that’s fallen by the wayside, unfortunately.

We have been getting so many spoilers. And I mean more than they’ve ever given us before. And if last night’s episode is any indication even with the insane amount of spoilers they’re still hiding incredibly important scenes.

So my question is, with as much bts that they’ve given us for the finale, what is the BIG scene that they’re hiding? They must feel comfortable giving us so much cause they know they’re still hiding something even better
