Not me completing ANOTHER super emotional scene of poyt 5 and of course I cried again while writing it 😭😭 on the bright side, I’m almost done! By that I mean I only have some connector scenes, bits of smut, the final climax, the ending scene and the epilogue to write! If I get these last 10k words down this month, y’all will prob get poyt 5 by the end of this month!

But maybe that’s the problem. Vincent has always kept Scott safe, yes, especially due to the company’s transition to being for giant’s only. But there’s been multiple times in which his best friend couldn’t be his back up. It’s the reason why he’s here in the first place.

If Vincent failed him, then what chance do Mike and Jeremy have?

“Fucking found it!”

Scott perks up at Mike’s announcement, hating the fact he’s able to relax more and more the closer the giant gets. “Took you long enough.”

“That was twelve goddamn boxes?” Mike asks as he kneels down, missing the way Scott jumped from his own voice echoing from Jeremy’s phone. “I think I knocked that shit out pretty damn fast.”

A very familiar case is then held out for Scott to see. A sleek plastic one that’s meant to hold about ten pairs of earbuds designed to do nothing but amplify the voices of nearby humans. An expensive piece of technology that shouldn’t be rotting in the basement of a Fazbear restaurant, but for once he’s glad of others negligence considering they won’t be missed if the entire case is taken.

The best part is when Mike undoes the latch to open it, all twenty are inside and in pristine condition. As if they hadn’t been in a box full of dust and mildew for several years.

“So how do I fuck with these?”

“You only need one,” Scott explains as he points to the closest. Fingers gently pinch it before offering it to the human for easier access. “They naturally turn off when they’re not being used, so they might be charged...put it in.”

Mike obediently lifts it up to his ear. It takes a moment of fiddling to get the earhook in place. And then Scott’s turned to for the next set of instructions.

He takes a deep breath before lowering his phone in order to mute his side. “Can you hear me?”

“Holy shit!” the giant exclaims, ecstatic as he leans down to be eye level. “You sound like shit over the phone.”
