the more I think about rashidmand the more I’m like. that whole thing definitely has to do with daniel right? like nobody else is there. of course yeah it could be a fun little game louis and armand are playing but like. it’s not being played for anyone but daniel. because there’s history there that he’s forgotten. so like. what was the purpose? to tease? to see how long it’d take him to notice, if he did at all? dramatic reveal? jog his memory? to what end? like….I genuinely and truly think that some part of devils minion happened in the 70s and daniel wanted armand to change him and obviously armand didn’t want to so. instead of daniel’s self-destruction leading to getting turned it led to armand erasing/editing his memories, because he wanted daniel to live a human life. but why do all this now??? because of louis’ wish to retell his story? because daniel’s sick? because something big is brewing in the vampire world and they want daniel close by? all of the above??? and most importantly how is daniel gonna feel when he remembers everything and realizes what armand did

So I have many many thoughts abt the finale and I feel a mixture of ways but when Zheng and Auntie reunited I got so excited. Literally screeching, wasn’t expecting to have a beautiful moment between them like that and to see how happy Zheng was to have her back I couldn’t contain my excitement.

watched the last several minutes of go2 out of curiousity (i’ll get around to watching the whole thing eventually but i gotta rewatch s1 first) and i gotta say i love how learning things abt gomens via distant osmosis tells you almost nothing abt the story bc the fandom rarely talks abt anything other than crowley and aziraphale. to the degree that when i watched s1 i was legitimately surprised that there were other major characters

ok my take on an alternate season 2 ending for izzy (nothing against the show or writers, this is just for the sake of my poor little heart):

imagine if you will: Izzy Hands, Captain of the Revenge. but not the cruel, power hungry, vengeful captain he was in season 1, who the crew mutinied on. he’s no longer angry, and scared, and insecure. no, now he’s more sure of himself, if the person he wants to be. he knows he’s among people that care about him, and he cares about them in return. he doesn’t feel worthless without Edward, because he is capable. he gets to foster the warm, friendly environment he once sought to destroy out of pain. now that he no longer cares about power, he’s finally healthy enough to wield it (the best captains are the ones who don’t want to be captain). the crew would never mutiny on him, but they would kill for him. not out of fear, but out of love. I just think it’s what he deserves.

Finally made it to the point where I can enjoy all the cool power scenes in Loki without giving a shit about the fuckass characterisation, and I gotta tell you it’s a peaceful place to be 😌
