Sure, they had started getting to know each other rather well and got along - or so she thought, as he was rarely giving any emotions away - but none of her friends had gone to such length for her before. It was more than anyone had ever done for her.

Somehow, despite the crowded street, it felt like they were alone in the world. No one looked at them, no one bothered them. She gave him a soft smile and took a tentative step towards him. At this point, she did not know whether it was the alcohol she had ingested this evening or the adrenaline that was flooding her veins that pushed her foward. All she knew was that she completely stopped thinking. Hands cupped his cheeks and the queen lowered herself to get to his height.

She met his lips without hesitating for a soft yet brief kiss. Her heart was beating so fast in her temples she could not hear anything else. She did not know what to expect from Albert's reaction. He hardly ever gave anything out. That was what terrified her but, in this moment, she refused to let it stop her. The kiss did not go too far yet, her tongue briefly brushed his lips before she pulled away and took a step back. Her eyes fell to the ground. Her confidence had left her body entirely. "I... I should go."

something i've noticed on here is people obsession with comparing every single one of david tennant's recent tv appearance outfits to crowley cos they're black and have stars on them like. bro the guy who picks his clothes probably just went hmm this is a cool jacket he'd look great in that, he's not channeling anything?? esp cos stars actually have not a whole lot of importance in good omens like?? you've got before the beginning and running off to alpha centuari and the astronomy book in his flat and thats is. like idk maybe this is one of those cases where tumblr has latched onto something cos its aesthetic or cool or smthn and so now Everything With Stars In It is now an angel crowley reference like?? no?? david is just wearing that stuff cos it looks good on him and people are kinda being weird about it. he's probably not trying to be crowley. just because he played crowley doesnt mean he is as obsessed as you are.

for some reason, I've found I respond best to mentally directing myself like I'm trying to get an apathetic 12 year old to do chores correctly. I don't know why. if anyone talked to me this way, Especially involving a task I'm already about to do, I'd want to eat lava. but it has this wild motivational effect for getting things done.

"there's some dead leaves from the houseplants, you should throw them out - nooo, don't leave the wrappers from the last few snacks you had behind. you're going there anyway, you might as well take them with you. AND the glass you haven't moved since yesterday, please. Thank you." and it works.
