hi avs lb!
get to know ryan lindgren!
-27 years old
-position: left defense (played top line D with nyr)
-season stats: 2G, 17A for a total of 19 points in 54 games, +1, 19:56 TOI/game
-needs to play 13 more games until his 400th career game!
-literally gives up blood, sweat, and tears just to play the game. primarily known as a defensive defenseman, LOVES throwing hits & being physical, has a wicked wrist shot but can never get it in the net, so you’ll have to be patient with him about that
-very effective on the penalty kill. clears out the puck, blocks shots, deflects the puck off an opposing player’s stick when he needs to…basically does everything you could ask him.
-however, he is VERY injury prone. was on IR during preseason, but stayed relatively healthy throughout the regular season. receives WAY too much hate on social media, but statistically, the rangers would perform better with him in the lineup, so that’s all you need to know about his presence and what it brings.
-he was the first player on the rags i got attached to, and i never even fathomed the idea of having to hand him off, but here we are.
-all in all, i guarantee you’re gonna love him as much as i do! we’ll take of calvin de haan for you🫶🏻

4th June >> Mass Readings (USA)
Wednesday, Seventh Week of Eastertide
(Liturgical Colour: White. Year: C(I))
First Reading Acts of the Apostles 20:28-38 I commend you to God who has the power to build you up and to give you an inheritance.
At Miletus, Paul spoke to the presbyters of the Church of Ephesus: “Keep watch over yourselves and over the whole flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, in which you tend the Church of God that he acquired with his own Blood. I know that after my departure savage wolves will come among you, and they will not spare the flock. And from your own group, men will come forward perverting the truth to draw the disciples away after them. So be vigilant and remember that for three years, night and day, I unceasingly admonished each of you with tears. And now I commend you to God and to that gracious word of his that can build you up and give you the inheritance among all who are consecrated. I have never wanted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You know well that these very hands have served my needs and my companions. In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” When he had finished speaking he knelt down and prayed with them all. They were all weeping loudly as they threw their arms around Paul and kissed him, for they were deeply distressed that he had said that they would never see his face again. Then they escorted him to the ship.

Gospel John 17:11b-19 May they be one just as we are one.
Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed, saying: “Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one. When I was with them I protected them in your name that you gave me, and I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of destruction, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you. I speak this in the world so that they may share my joy completely. Love bites
Love bleeds
It’s bringing me to my knees
-- “Love Bites,” Def Leppard (1988) [click here to listen]
Pittsburgh || Early October, 1988
Ian Murray hissed as his sister-in-law sutured the gash on his forearm.
Claire Fraser briefly glanced up before turning back to her work. “Are you going to tell Jenny about this, or is that something I’ll need to do?”
Ian sighed. “I’ll tell her. God knows she worries enough as it is.” He took a deep breath as Claire’s needle pierced his skin. “You know she hates not being on the road this tour – she’s so happy we’re finishing up next week, and that I’ll be home for the break. Young Jamie has been teething – she’s not sleeping too much these days.”
Jenny Fraser Murray – Jamie’s older sister, and Ian’s wife – lived with their three small children on the Fraser family farm in upstate New York. The farm where Jamie and Jenny had grown up, and where their mother Ellen had died when Jamie was eight and Jenny was ten, and where their grief-stricken father had raised them before suffering a fatal stroke eight years ago.
Growing up without a mother had been hard enough – but it was the loss of his father, just when Print was starting to make a name for itself in the New York City club circuit, that pushed Jamie into his addictions.
That neither of his parents had seen his success, was one of the deepest regrets of Jamie’s life. Which was perhaps why, Claire mused, he had always been so kind and thoughtful with her Uncle Lamb.
“Breathe deep. This is the last one.”
Ian did, and Claire quickly and thoroughly pushed the needle through Ian’s arm one final time, before tying off and cutting the suture.
“Good. All done, just one more thing.”
Claire unspooled a few lengths from her roll of elastic bandage – black, instead of the typical tan color – and wrapped it around Ian’s sutures. “Here you go. I want to check on this tomorrow, and the day after. You’ll need the stitches for at least a week, and you really shouldn’t get this wet.”
Ian took a deep breath and carefully flexed his hand. “The show is gonna be interesting tonight. But at least I can still play. Thank you, Claire.”
She smiled, already rolling up her suture kit and rearranging the medical bag that she’d had to use quite a few times this tour. “Glad to be of service.”
“Hey.” Ian touched her hand, and she met his gaze. “Give yourself a bit more credit. You bring more to the table than you know.”
Now it was her turn to sigh. “I feel so out of my depth sometimes,” she admitted, quiet so that the roadies out in the hall couldn’t hear. “You know that I know nothing about this world. Jamie is working so hard to show it to me, and you and Angus and even Colum have been so gracious.”
“You make it easy, Claire. Jamie loves you. We only want the best for you. And I – ” He squeezed her hand. “I really want you here. You’re such a breath of fresh air for all of us. He’s changed so much in the past year, and you’re a big reason for that. You’re good for each other.”
She smiled. “I never thanked you for being the one who got him to treatment.”
Ian snorted. “I was tired of watching him make bad choice after bad choice. It only got worse as the band got bigger – I’m sure he’s told you that.”
“He has,” she said sadly. “But you were there. You saw him. I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for you. You and Jenny.”
His eyes unfocused just a bit, clouded with memories.
Pulling open the door to the band’s dressing room, one night on the ’86 tour. To find Jamie kneeling on the ground, snorting lines of coke off his guitar case, just as quickly as the lighting guy from the touring crew could lay them out.
And
Jamie pounding on Ian’s hotel room door at four AM, somewhere in the Midwest. Ian opened the door, startled, and Jamie tumbled in, guffawing, gripping an empty bottle of Jack Daniels, racing across the room to hoist up the window and toss the bottle to the street fifteen stories below. He turned, grinning stupidly, to look at Ian in triumph – and startled a bit to see Jenny in the bed.
“Hey sis,” he slurred. “When did you get here?”
Jenny crossed her arms over her chest, shielding her five-month pregnant belly. “Maybe if you hadn’t had that liquid late-night snack, you’d remember.”
Ian cleared his throat. “Had Jamie not listened to me – to Jenny and me – that morning in Sacramento, and had we boarded the plane to London later that week, he would have come home in a body bag, and where would we be?”
Claire pursed her lips. So many times she had wondered how her life would have been – how Jamie’s life would have been – had he not made that one small choice to finally get the help he needed.
“Claire, I’ve known Jamie since we were seven years old. We grew up together at Lallybroch. I married his sister. He’s my brother. And now you – you’re my sister.”
She blushed, so happy.
“I want only the best for you. For both of you. I’m always here. Jenny is, too – well, even though she’s not here, she’s always going to be here for you. Because that’s what family does for each other.”
Claire’s eyes shone with tears. Heart so full.
Ian smiled, and patted the back of her hand. “Keep that kit out, in case I pop the stitches tonight. Can’t have blood gushing onto my bass in the middle of a song.”
“Hey!”
Colum filled the open door of the dressing room.
“Ian – this is your fifteen minute warning until curtain.”
Ian held up his arm. “I’ve got an excuse.”
Colum winced. “I don’t want to know. I’ll just thank God yet again that we’ve got a bona fide doctor with us this tour. I love Arch Bug, but he didn’t exactly develop a good bedside manor when he was a corpsman in ‘Nam.”
Ian smiled and stood, grabbing the bass that leaned up against the wall. “She’ll be ready if I need more.”
“Speaking of which.” Colum turned to Claire. “Your husband is looking for you.”
Claire snapped her medical bag shut. “Where is he?”
Colum crossed his arms. “Two doors down on the right. But if you’re asking about his headspace right now, it’s getting very close to me asking the opener to play an extra song so that you can do whatever it is you do to calm him down.”
She pursed her lips, and fished in her pocket for a fresh stick of Doublemint. “He’ll be on time.”
to be continued...

Daily Devotionals for March 26, 2025
Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 12:20-22(KJV): 20 Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. 21 There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. 22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Thought for the Day
Verse 20 - Deceit is all too prevalent in today's society. The dictionary defines "deceit" as: (1) The act of representing as true what is known to be false; deceiving or lying, (2) A dishonest action or trick; fraud or lie.
Those who practice deceit have evil imaginations. Greed motivates them to seek personal gain at another's expense, and fraudulent schemes abound today. Covetousness (desiring what belongs to another) is idolatry (Colossians 3:5). Swindlers avoid honest work and take advantage of others' weaknesses. Seeking to make money without working for it is unrighteous (2 Thessalonians 3:10). Our character is built through honest work. Anyone claiming to be a Christian while swindling others brings disrepute to the church. We are told not to even fellowship with brothers and sisters in the Lord who are dishonest, immoral, and greedy. "But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such any one no not to eat" (1 Corinthians 5:11).
Promoters of peace will have joy. Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God" (Matthew 5:9). We are blessed when we pursue peace and counsel others to walk in peace. We promote peace between God and man by sharing the Gospel. There is great joy in bringing others to Christ and helping them live godly lives.
Verse 21 - Ultimately, no evil, misfortune, or calamity shall overcome the righteous, whereas the wicked will be filled with these things. Looking at this verse, we may not believe it, because we or other Christians we know have gone through many kinds of evil, misfortune, and calamity. However, in this world, we may suffer from the same things that people who do not know the Lord suffer; but the difference is that we go through them and are not destroyed by them. Our eternal state in Christ causes us to overcome all evil the devil may try to bring our way. "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).
Our life in Christ enables us to overcome all the evil and suffering that Satan may try to bring our way. We are more than conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:37-39; Isaiah 54:17a). For those without faith, suffering has no benefit. The fate of the wicked is ruin, which their wicked deeds bring upon them.
Verse 22 - The fate of the wicked is different, as their wicked deeds bring them down. They are ultimately destroyed – either in this life on earth or the life to come in hell. They are filled with mischief and deceit. Their lying lips are extremely disgusting and hateful to the Lord, but He delights in those who speak and act honestly. God cannot lie and hates lying. Lying is on the list of seven things God hates in Proverbs 6:17. We must guard ourselves against it.
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for Your love and goodness to me. You have been very patient and merciful to me. Lord, I need that same love and mercy towards others. Father, I ask You to remove all deceit from my heart and cleanse me so I might have a pure heart before You. Lord, deliver our nation from deceit and lying. Help us all to keep our word when we give it to someone. Restore truth to our land. We desire truth to abide in our homes and our businesses. Lord, I also ask that You give me faith and an overcoming spirit so I will not walk in fear. Help me trust you, even when my circumstances cause me to be doubtful at times. Deliver me from doubt and unbelief in every area of my life. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. Steven P. The final overthrow of Babylon
1-3 Later I saw another angel coming down from Heaven, armed with great authority. The earth shone with the splendour of his presence, and he cried in a mighty voice, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a haunt of devils, a prison for every unclean spirit, and a cage for every foul and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk the wine of her passionate unfaithfulness and have fallen thereby. The kings of the earth have debauched themselves with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the extravagance of her dissipation!”
4-8 Then I heard another voice from Heaven, crying, “Come out from her, O my people, lest you become accomplices in her sins and must share in her punishment. For her sins have mounted up to the sky, and God has remembered the tale of her wickedness. Pay her back in her own coin—yes, pay her back double for all that she has done! In the cup which she mixed for others mix her a drink of double strength! For the pride in which she flaunted herself give her torture and misery! Because she says to herself, ‘Here I sit a queen on a throne; I am no woman who lacks a man and I shall never know sorrow!’ So in a single day her punishments shall strike her—death, sorrow and famine and she shall be burned in the fire. For mighty is the Lord God who judges her!”
The lament over the city
9-10 Then the kings of the earth, who debauched and indulged themselves with her, will wail and lament over her. Standing at a safe distance through very fear of her torment, they will watch the smoke of her burning and cry, “Alas, alas for the great city, Babylon the mighty city, that your judgment should come in a single hour.”
11-14 The merchants of the earth shall also wail and lament over her, for there is no one left to buy their goods—cargoes of gold and silver, jewels and pearls, fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet, all kinds of scented wood, every sort of ivory vessel, every kind of vessel of precious wood, of bronze, iron and marble; cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour and corn; cattle, sheep and horses; chariots, slaves, the very souls of men.
15-17a Those who bought and sold these things, who had gained their wealth from her, will stand afar off through fear of her punishment, weeping and lamenting and saying, “Alas, alas for the great city that was dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet, and was bedecked with gold and jewels and pearls—alas that in a single hour all that wealth should be destroyed!”
17b-18 Then every shipmaster and seafarer—sailors and all whose business is upon the sea—stood and watched the smoke of her burning from afar, and cried out, “What city was ever like the great city?”
19 They even threw dust on their heads and cried aloud as they wept, saying, “Alas, alas for the great city where all who had ships on the sea grew wealthy through the richness of her treasure! Alas that in a single hour she should be ruined!”
A comment in the background
20 “Rejoice over her fate, O Heaven, and all you saints, apostles and prophets! For God has pronounced his judgment for you against her!”
The words of Babylon’s doom
21-23a Then a mighty angel lifted up a stone like a huge mill-stone and hurled it into the sea, saying, “So shall Babylon the great city be sent hurtling down to disappear for ever! Never more shall the sound of harpists and musicians, flute-players and trumpeters be heard in you again! Never again shall a craftsman of any craft be found in you; never again will the sound of the mill-stone’s grinding be heard in you! No light of a lamp shall ever shine in you again, and the voices of bridegroom and bride shall be heard in you no more! The fruit of your soul’s desire is lost to you for ever. All your luxuries and brilliance are lost to you and men will never find them in you again!
23b “For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were seduced by your witchery!”
24 For in her was discovered the blood of prophets and saints, indeed the blood of all who were ever slaughtered upon the earth. — Revelation 18 | J.B. Berakhot 17a: 1. "The Pom Poms."
The end of 16b brought us into the modern age. Finally the world can discuss its state of affairs with itself and send its troublemakers and charlatans away with the click of a mouse. Should it want this. But what else could it want? Thus begins another sheet, and another Mishnah:
In the family of Ma'ala. And in the family of Mata, and among the disciples who are engaged in your Torah, between those who are engaged in her name and those who are not engaged in her name. And all those who are not engaged in her name will be willing to be engaged in her name.
The Spirit says we want Ma'ala and Mata, "to die and go upward." And because we are all growing wise, we know this means want to understand the Torah, to become obssessed with it once again and die knowing all that could be known about it.
The Value in Gematria is 8851, ףחןא, ephakna, "after preparation."
"The verb אפק ('apaq) means to control or restrain, mostly of feelings and emotions. Its sole derivation is the noun אפיק ('apiq), which describes a channel, conduit, tube or pipe: anything that confines a streaming liquid and lets it flow downhill without spilling and without going anywhere but its designed destination."
I hate to say it, but to go up, in Jewish, something needs to go down. It's like the sky has to get lower and we must get taller to understand the meaning of these strange ideas, but the actual Gemara means we have to become jealous of God and His ability to create or possess things that do not blemish.
"The word "akna" is a misspelling of the Hebrew word "קנה" (qanah). In Hebrew, "קנה" (qanah) means "to acquire, buy, or possess". It also implies creation and can refer to the act of God creating the world. The root word קנה (qn) is also associated with the idea of jealousy."
The rest of the etymology states, much as I do most of the time, "when you hit the wall it is time to make a turn."
"The verb פנה (pana) means to turn toward. This verb's primary derivative is the plural noun פנים (panim), which literally means turnings or inclinations, but which is the common Biblical word for "face", and may also refer to anything's obvious front-end or visible surface, or anyone's scope, sight or attention.
This plural noun פנים (panim) is often used to describe someone's presence, in the sense that being out of someone's presence also means being out of their mind or scope or attention. This word occurs in the Bible's familiar idiom "the face of God", which describes God's presence or rather (as he is omnipresent) his immediate attention or interest. The very common compound לפני (lipne) means "in the face of ...", "in the presence of ..." or simply "before ...".
Adverb פנימה (penima) means toward the inside. Adjective פנימי (penimi) means inner. Noun פנה (pinna) means corner, and is commonly used to describe where a wall makes a turn. This noun is thought to have derived from a by-form or parental form of the verb פנה (pana), namely פנן (panan), of similar meaning.
A second derivation of this form is the plural noun פנינים (peninim), which describes a red coral, probably with swirling branches or otherwise corrugated structure. The noun אופן ('opan) describes a wheel of a chariot or a threshing device. Most notably, wheels are a significant feature of the throne of God."
The similarity of the terms opan peninim "God's pom poms" to the Ophanim cannot be disregarded.

FOCUS AND LITURGY OF THE WORD
For many of us in the United States, this is a season of goodbyes. Like many of you, I have been to several graduation parties and retirement celebrations. When I lived in Bellevue, summer always brought a series of military transfers that moved good friends out of our community. Farewells can be quite emotional for the ones leaving as well as for the ones left behind – even today when cell phones and the internet mitigate the separation a bit.
For parents, teachers, coaches, mentors, neighbors, youth group leaders, and many others, these times are tinged with anxiety. Did I do enough to prepare them for what lies ahead? What should I have done differently? Is there anything else I can do for them? Will they be okay? Today’s New Testament readings indicate this sort of thinking with both Paul and Jesus. In the verses from Acts, the leaders of the church in Ephesus have traveled to Miletus to see Paul, their friend and leader. Paul, knowing it is the last time he will see them, quickly reminds them of key points he hoped they had learned from his words and his actions. In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus praying on the night that he would be taken prisoner, leading to his trial, execution and resurrection. He worried, in essence, “What will happen when I am not here to protect and to guide these folks who are so dear to me?”
One of the pastors at my church regularly includes in his benediction the call to “surrender your anxious cares to God.” We see that with Paul, who surrenders his anxieties when he tells the presbyters, I commend you to God. We hear echoes of that in the Gospel reading, when Jesus surrenders his anxieties by praying for God to keep and protect his followers. If you are worried for someone, the best you can do for them is to lift them to God in prayer. For those of us who question ourselves – “Am I ready?” or “Why didn’t I prepare better?” or “Will I be okay?” – surrender those anxious cares to God.
To quote television infomercials: But wait! There’s more! First, we see both Jesus and Paul emphasizing the importance of God’s word for showing each of us who God wants us to be. Jesus prays, Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. When Paul commends the Ephesians to God, he also commends them to that gracious word of his that can build you up. As you surrender your anxious cares, turn to God’s word.
Second, turning to God’s word will turn you to serving others. Note Paul’s directive to help the weak is made stronger because, as he reminds them, he had modeled that behavior in every way. This echoes Matthew 25:31-46, when Jesus tells of sheep and goats divided based on how they had cared for the weak and vulnerable, the hungry and thirsty, the stranger and prisoner, the naked and the sick.

SAINT OF THE DAY
Blessed Angeline of Marsciano
(1377 – July 14, 1435)
Blessed Angeline of Marsciano’s Story
Blessed Angeline founded the first community of Franciscan women other than Poor Clares to receive papal approval.
Angeline was born to the Duke of Marsciano near Orvieto. She was 12 when her mother died. Three years later, the young woman made a vow of perpetual chastity. That same year, however, she yielded to her father’s decision that she marry the Duke of Civitella. Her husband agreed to respect her previous vow.
When he died two years later, Angeline joined the Secular Franciscans and with several other women dedicated herself to caring for the sick, the poor, widows and orphans. When many other young women were attracted to Angeline’s community, some people accused her of condemning the married vocation. Legend has it that when she came before the King of Naples to answer these charges, she had burning coals hidden in the folds of her cloak. When she proclaimed her innocence and showed the king that these coals had not harmed her, he dropped the case.
Angeline and her companions later went to Foligno, where her community of Third Order sisters received papal approval in 1397. She soon established 15 similar communities of women in other Italian cities.
Angeline died on July 14, 1435, and was beatified in 1825. Her liturgical feast is celebrated on July 13.
Reflection
----------
Priests, sisters and brothers cannot be signs of God’s love for the human family if they belittle the vocation of marriage. Angeline respected marriage, but felt called to another way of living out the gospel. Her choice was life-giving in its own way.

Hot or Cold
TeensXcite 2015.03.21 Hot or Cold
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
The book of Revelations is about Jesus Christ. Jesus loves us, that is why he wants us to know what we are doing wrong and what needs to change.
Lukewarm: -(usually a liquid) that ought to be warm but is only moderately warm -(the attitude of the person) saying that he is unenthusiastic
A lukewarm Christian makes Jesus sick. This is how serious it is about being lukewarm. Jesus cannot stand Christians who are lukewarm and he wants those of us who are lukewarm to wake up and change.
This is what Jesus wants us to do: 1) We need to take a stand.
Revelation 3:15 NIV
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
Jesus wants us to be either 100% with him or against him. He wants to draw a clear line, whether we are with him or against.
Luke 14:33 NIV
In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.
Luke 9:59-60 NIV
He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 10:37-39 NIV
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Jesus had an extreme commitment to die for us, and He wants us to have the same attitude. Jesus has set us requirements, but a lot of us are unwilling to do it.
Hot: there is an abundance of heat. Cold: the lack of heat.
What is lukewarm? It is neither an abundance or a lack of heat. We are neither here nor there, in that sense, we are nowhere.Jesus wants you to be either hot or cold. We like to moderate everything. Jesus calls us to be extreme and he cannot accept being lukewarm. Jesus hates lukewarm people because it means that we have not taken a stand. God cannot stand it. Lukewarm and claiming Christ's name simultaneously is completely disgusting.
Revelation 3:17a NIV
You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’
What will cause is to lose our salvation is that self sufficiency.
Laodicea was very successful. They had a lot of gold and were rich, they also had a great textile industry and finally they were also extremely successful in making eye medicines. They had been hit by an earthquake, paid from their own pockets and had still enough money to be filthy rich. This is why Jesus said that they needed gold, clothes and medicine for the eye.
If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything.
"Many pastors criticize me for taking the Gospel so seriously. But do you really think that on Judgement Day, Christ will chastise me, saying, 'Leonard, you took me too seriously.' ?" – Leonard Ravenhill
2) We need to make a choice.
Revelation 3:20 NIV
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
A lukewarm Christian does not have Jesus in their lives.
Matthew 7:21-23 NIV
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
You can do all "christian" things and still not have Jesus in your life. Our lives will be transformed when Jesus in our lives.
2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Do you want Jesus in your life? It is possible to serve God but still lack Jesus in our hearts. This is a message that he has for us.
We have to take a stand and make a choice. Are you willing to open up your hearts?
Are you a lukewarm Christian? If you are, God says that it is time to change. He wrote this letter to Leodicea, as a way to give them a chance. He says that those that He loves He will rebuke.
Mark 10:17-27 NIV
As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.’ ” “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.” Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!” The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
This man was unwilling to change His life, as a result, he was not saved. Only God can change us, so are you willing to allow God to change you? Good works will not change you, but only God's work can change you.
Are you serious with God?

WHAT TALMUD SAYS ABOUT JESUS, MARY, AND CHRISTIANITY AT LARGE.
'MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS IS A WHORE' - JEWISH HOLY BOOK - TALMUD
Jews and Gentiles:
The Talmud is one of the most major of all books in Judaism after the Torah. The Talmud covers every aspect of Jewish Life. Everything from what Jews wear and say, to how they act towards others and treat them.
Judaism, all but reform Jews, treat anyone who is not a Jew as a, sorry for lack of a better word I must say, dog. By the Talmud, if you are not a Jew you are not human! And, if you are not human, then you are equivalent to an animal.
The Talmud is at times a very hate filled book.
The Ultra-Orthodox and the Orthodox as well as Conservative Jews take it and place it a bit higher than the Torah. This is also why Judaism for the most part will not allow converts!
Some Teachings of the Talmud:
Erubin 21b. Whosoever disobeys the rabbis deserves death and will be punished by being boiled in hot excrement in hell.
Moed Kattan 17a . If a Jew is tempted to do evil he should go to a city where he is not known and do the evil there.
Non-Jews are Not Human Baba Mezia 114a-114b. Only Jews are human ("Only ye are designated men”).
Also see Kerithoth 6b under the sub-head, "Oil of Anointing" and Berakoth 58a in which Gentile women are designated animals (“she-asses").
Jews are Divine, Sanhedrin 58b. If a heathen (Gentile) hits a Jew, the Gentile must be killed. Hitting a Jew is the same as hitting God.
O.K. to Cheat Non-Jews, Sanhedrin 57a . A Jew need not pay a Gentile ("Cuthean") the wages owed him for work.
Jews Have Superior Legal Status, Baba Kamma 37b. "If an ox of an Israelite gores an ox of a Canaanite there is no liability; but if an ox of a Canaanite gores an ox of an Israelite...the payment is to be in full.”
Jews May Steal from Non-Jews, Baba Mezia 24a .
If a Jew finds an object lost by a Gentile ("heathen") it does not have to be returned. (Affirmed also in Baba Kamma 113b).
Sanhedrin 76a . God will not spare a Jew who "marries his daughter to an old man or takes a wife for his infant son or returns a lost article to a Cuthean…"
Jews May Rob and Kill Non-Jews, Sanhedrin 57a .
When a Jew murders a Gentile ("Cuthean"), there will be no death penalty.
What a Jew steals from a Gentile he may keep.
Baba Kamma 37b. Gentiles are outside the protection of the law and God has "exposed their money to Israel.”
Jews May Lie to Non-Jews, Baba Kamma 113a. Jews may use lies ("subterfuges") to circumvent a Gentile.
Non-Jewish Children Sub-Human, Yebamoth 98a. All Gentile children are animals.
Abodah Zarah 36b . Gentile girls are in a state of niddah (filth) from birth.
Abodah Zarah 22a-22b . Gentiles prefer sex with cows.
Abodah Zarah 67b . "The vessels of Gentiles, do they not impart a worsened flavor to the food cooked in them?”
Insults Against Blessed Mary,
Sanhedrin 106a . Says Jesus' mother was a whore: "She who was the descendant of princes and governors played the harlot with carpenters." Also in footnote #2 to Shabbath 104b it is stated that in the "uncensored" text of the Talmud it is written that Jesus mother, "Miriam the hairdresser," had sex with many men.
Gloats over Christ Dying Young, A passage from Sanhedrin 106 gloats over the early age at which Jesus died: "Hast thou heard how old Balaam (Jesus) was?--He replied: It is not actually stated but since it is written, Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days it follows that he was thirty-three or thirty-four years old.”
Says Jesus was a Sorcerer, Sanhedrin 43a . Says Jesus ("Yeshu" and in footnote #6, Yeshu "the Nazarene") was executed because he practiced sorcery.
Horrible Blasphemy of Jesus, Gittin 57a . Says Jesus ( see footnote #4) is being boiled in "hot excrement.”
Sanhedrin 43a . Jesus deserved execution: "On the eve of the Passover, Yeshu was hanged...Do you suppose that he was one for whom a defense could be made? Was he not a Mesith (enticer)?”
Attacks Christians and their Books, Rosh Hashanah 17a . Christians ("minim") and others who reject the Talmud will go to hell and be punished there for all generations (see footnote #11 for the definition of minim).
Sanhedrin 90a.Those who read the New Testament ("uncanonical books," see footnote #9) will have no portion in the world to come.
Shabbath 116a (p. 569). Jews must destroy the books of the Christians, i.e. the New Testament. See footnote #6.
Israel Shahak reports that the Zionists burned hundreds of New Testament books in Occupied Palestine on March 23, 1980 (cf. Jewish History, Jewish Religion, p. 21).
Sick and Insane Teachings, Gittin 69a . To heal his flesh a Jew should take dust that lies within the shadow of an outdoor toilet, mix it with honey and eat it.
Shabbath 41a. The law regulating the rule for how to urinate in a holy way is given.
Yebamoth 63a. States that Adam had sexual intercourse with all the animals in the Garden of Eden.
Yebamoth 63a. Declares that agriculture is the lowest of occupations.
Sanhedrin 55b . A Jew may marry a three year old girl (specifically, three years "and a day" old).
Sanhedrin 54b . A Jew may have sex with a child as long as the child is less than nine years old.
Kethuboth 11b . "When a grown-up man has intercourse with a little girl it is nothing.”
Yebamoth 59b . A woman who had intercourse with a beast is eligible to marry a Jewish priest. A woman who has sex with a demon is also eligible to marry a Jewish priest.
Abodah Zarah 17a. States that there is not a whore in the world that Rabbi Eleazar has not had sex with.
Hagigah 27a . States that no rabbi can ever go to hell.
Baba Mezia 59b. A rabbi debates God and defeats Him. God admits the rabbi won the debate.
Gittin 70a . The Rabbis taught: "On coming from a privy (outdoor toilet) a man should not have sexual intercourse till he has waited long enough to walk half a mile, because the demon of the privy is with him for that time; if he does, his children will be epileptic.”
Toilet and excrement obsessions are laced throughout Talmud and were exhibited in Spielberg*s Schindler's List where the Hollywood director shows a Jewish child jumping through a toilet seat in an outhouse and falling into a pool of liquefied excrement.
There the child meets two other Jewish children partially immersed who inform the interloper that this cesspool is their hiding spot exclusively and that he must find his own.
These are the kind of disgusting and morbid, psychotic images which Jewish kids are exposed to constantly in the cinematic liturgy of Holocaustianity and for that matter, in the Talmud as well. Gittin 69b (p. 329).
To heal the disease of pleurisy ("catarrh") a Jew should >take the excrement of a white dog and knead it with balsam, but if he can possibly avoid it he should not eat the dog's excrement as it loosens the limbs.< Pesahim 111a.
It is forbidden for dogs, women or palm trees to pass between two men, nor may others walk between dogs, women or palm trees. Special dangers are involved if the women are menstruating or sitting at a crossroads. Menahoth 43b-44a .
A Jewish man is obligated to say the following prayer every day: Thank you God for not making me a Gentile, a woman or a slave. Shabbath 86a-86b.
Because Jews are holy they do not have sex during the day unless the house can be made dark. A Jewish scholar can have sex during the day if he uses his garment like a tent to make it dark.
Tall Tales of a Roman Holocaust Here are two early "Holocaust" tales from the Talmud: Gittin 57b. Claims that four billion Jews were killed by the Romans in the city of Bethar. Gittin 58a claims that 16 million Jewish children were wrapped in scrolls and burned alive by the Romans. (Ancient demography indicates that there were not 16 million Jews in the entire world at that time, much less 16 million Jewish children or four billion Jews). A Revealing Admission Abodah Zarah 70a .
The question was asked of the rabbi whether some wine stolen in Pumbeditha might be used or if it was defiled, due to the fact that the thieves might have been Gentiles (a Gentile touching wine would make the wine unclean). The rabbi says not to worry, that the wine is permissible for Jewish use because the majority of the thieves in Pumbeditha, the place where the wine was stolen, are Jews Pharisaic Rituals Erubin 21b (p. 150). >>Rabbi Akiba said to him, "Give me some water to wash my hands." "It will not suffice for drinking," the other complained, "will it suffice for washing your hands?" "What can I do?' the former replied, "when for neglecting the words of the Rabbis one deserves death? It is better that I myself should die than that I transgress against the opinion of my colleagues." [This is the ritual hand washing condemned by Jesus in Matthew 15: 1-9].
Great Rabbi Deceives A Woman Kallah 51a (Soncino Minor Tractates). Teaches that God approves of rabbis who lie: "The elders were once sitting in the gate when two young lads passed by; one covered his head and the other uncovered his head. Of him who uncovered his head Rabbi Eliezer remarked that he is a bastard.
Rabbi Joshua remarked that he is the son of a niddah (a child conceived during a woman's menstrual period). Rabbi Akiba said that he is both a bastard and a son of a niddah. "They said, 'What induced you to contradict the opinion of your colleagues?' He replied, "I will prove it concerning him." He went to the lad's mother and found her sitting in the market selling beans. "He said to her, 'My daughter, if you will answer the question I will put to you, I will bring you to the world to come.' (eternal life).
She said to him, 'Swear it to me.' Rabbi Akiba, taking the oath with his lips but annulling it in his heart, said to her, 'What is the status of your son?' She replied, 'When I entered the bridal chamber I was niddah (menstruating) and my husband kept away from me; but my best man had intercourse with me and this son was born to me.' Consequently the child was both a bastard and the son of a niddah.
It was declared, '..Blessed be the God of Israel Who Revealed His Secret to Rabbi Akiba..." In addition to the theme that God rewards clever liars the preceding discussion is actually about Christ (the lad who 'uncovered his head'). The reference to the lad's mother is of course to the mother of Jesus, Blessed Mary (called Miriam and sometimes, Miriam the hairdresser, in Talmud).
Genocide Advocated by Talmud Minor Tractates. Soferim 15, Rule 10. This is the saying of Rabbi Simon ben Yohai: Tob shebe goyyim harog ("Even the best of the Gentiles should all be killed"). This passage is not from the Soncino edition but is from the original Hebrew of the Babylonian Talmud as quoted by the 1907 Jewish Encyclopedia, published by Funk and Wagnalls and compiled by Isidore Singer, under the entry, "Gentile," (p. 617).
This original Talmud passage has been concealed in translation. The Jewish Encyclopedia states that, "...in the various versions the reading has been altered, 'The best among the Egyptians' being generally substituted." In the Soncino version: "the best of the heathens" (Minor Tractates, Soferim 41a-b].
* “‘Yashu’ (derogatory for ‘Jesus’) is in Hell being boiled in hot excrement.” (Gittin 57a)
[’Yashu’ is an acronym for the Jewish curse, ‘May his (Jesus) name be wiped out forevermore.’]
* Yashu (Jesus) was sexually immoral and worshiped a brick.” (Sanhedrin 107b)
“Yashu (Jesus) was cut off from the Jewish people for his wickedness and refused to repent.” (Sotah 47a)
* “Christians who reject the Talmud will go to hell and be punished there for all generations.” (Rosh Hashanah 17a)

15th May >> Mass Readings (USA)
Wednesday, Seventh Week of Eastertide
or
Saint Isidore the Farmer.
Wednesday, Seventh Week of Eastertide
Liturgical Colour: White. Year: B(II).
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 68:29-30, 33-35a, 35bc-36ab
R/ Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth. or R/ Alleluia.
Show forth, O God, your power, the power, O God, with which you took our part; For your temple in Jerusalem let the kings bring you gifts.
R/ Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth. or R/ Alleluia.
You kingdoms of the earth, sing to God, chant praise to the Lord who rides on the heights of the ancient heavens. Behold, his voice resounds, the voice of power: “Confess the power of God!”
R/ Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth. or R/ Alleluia.
Over Israel is his majesty; his power is in the skies. Awesome in his sanctuary is God, the God of Israel; he gives power and strength to his people.
R/ Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth. or R/ Alleluia.
Gospel Acclamation cf. John 17:17b, 17a
Alleluia, alleluia. Your word, O Lord, is truth; consecrate us in the truth. Alleluia, alleluia.
I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the Evil One. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. And I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth.”
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

(Liturgical Colour: White. Year: B(II))
(Readings for the memorial)
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Wednesday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
Either:
First Reading Acts of the Apostles 4:32-35 The community of believers was of one heart and mind.
The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. With great power the Apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property or houses would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale, and put them at the feet of the Apostles, and they were distributed to each according to need.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
OR: --------
First reading Revelation 3:14b, 20-22 I will dine with him and he with me.
The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the source of God’s creation, says this: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will enter his house and dine with him and he with me. I will give the victor the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself first won the victory and sit with my Father on his throne. “Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
OR: --------
First reading Revelation 19:1, 5-9a Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.
I, John, heard what sounded like the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying:“Alleluia!
Salvation, glory, and might belong to our God.”
A voice coming from the throne said:
“Praise our God, all you his servants, and you who revere him, small and great.”
Then I heard something like the sound of a great multitude or the sound of rushing water or mighty peals of thunder, as they said:“Alleluia!
The Lord has established his reign, our God, the almighty. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb has come, his bride has made herself ready. She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment.”
(The linen represents the righteous deeds of the holy ones.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.”
OR: --------
First reading Revelation 21:5-7 To the thirsty I will give a gift from the spring of life-giving water.
The One who was seated on the throne said: “Behold, I make all things new.” Then he said, “Write these words down, for they are trustworthy and true.” He said to me, “They are accomplished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give a gift from the spring of life-giving water. The victor will inherit these gifts, and I shall be his God, and he will be my son.”
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 1:1-2, 3, 4 and 6
Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. or Blessed are they who delight in the law of the Lord. or The just will flourish like the palm tree in the garden of the Lord.
Blessed the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked Nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent, But delights in the law of the LORD and meditates on his law day and night.
Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. or Blessed are they who delight in the law of the Lord. or The just will flourish like the palm tree in the garden of the Lord.
He is like a tree planted near running water, That yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade. Whatever he does, prospers.
Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. or Blessed are they who delight in the law of the Lord. or The just will flourish like the palm tree in the garden of the Lord.
Not so, the wicked, not so; they are like chaff which the wind drives away. For the LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked vanishes.
Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. or Blessed are they who delight in the law of the Lord. or The just will flourish like the palm tree in the garden of the Lord.

Gospel Matthew 5:1-12a Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.
When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.”
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

feather light | knj
pairing: namjoon x reader
rating: G
genre/warnings: strangers to lovers, fluff, barely any angst unless you count aerophobia as angst?, unedited bc that should be its own warning lol
word count: 1.1k
note: thank you so much for sending in a request!! it's been a while, i know, apologies for the delay!! for some reason i've always wanted to write a drabble where namjoon is a stranger on a plane hahahha i'm glad i was able to incorporate that idea into this request!! i hope you enjoy it heheh ☺️
— as always, i’d appreciate any thoughts or comments you may have, and please drop a like and/or reblog if you enjoy reading ♡
If you’re being honest, you don’t recall much of February 24.
You remember boarding the plane, and finding your seat, and fastening your seatbelt, and gnawing on your bottom lip like chewing gum throughout the pilot’s announcement. It was a relatively short flight, only two hours from your city to the island where your friend’s wedding took place that weekend. Usually, you can handle short flights just fine. You just needed to take your meds beforehand and you’d be good to go.
Except, you’d forgotten them at the hotel, on the counter in the bathroom, before you headed for the airport.
Looking back now, was it divine intervention?
Maybe. The universe works in mysterious ways. You’ll never know for sure.
Then, as you internally freaked out in seat 17A, you just knew that life absolutely sucked. Your own brain was feeding you the most terrible thoughts and painting the most gruesome scenarios of all the things that could go wrong over the next two hours.
It was great - truly amazing - that you only had your brain for company and nothing to distract you.
You hated every aspect of flying, but takeoff and landing might have to the parts you despised the most. When the plane rumbled to life and began to slowly move on the runway, your hands immediately slapped down on the armrests and held onto them for dear life. You remember squeezing your eyes shut and not even daring to take a breath, as if one exhale could send you and all the other passengers to the nether world.
You remember staying completely still for five whole minutes, until the plane settled into a smooth rhythm and glided through the clouds with ease.
You remember taking an experimental breath, but then something warm moved underneath your right palm and you almost screeched in horror.
You remember opening your eyes to find yourself clutching the hand of the person sitting in the seat next to yours. The events of that day may not be very clear in your mind, but the absolute mortification you felt in that moment still sometimes resurfaces to the front of your brain.
You remember scrambling to apologize for holding his hand hostage and not even realizing it. You remember watching him smile amusedly and reassuring you that it was fine. You remember his soothing voice as he told you that his little sister was scared of flying too, “It’s all good.”
You remember the dimples and the kind eyes that calmed your storm for a split second.
Maybe that’s the real reason why you don’t remember February 24 all that well.
Maybe it was something that you only read in books and watched in movies: Love, at first sight.
You remember your hands getting clammy and he mistook it for your fear rearing its ugly head again. He started talking, no doubt to help distract you from the fact that you were thousands and thousands of feet in the air.
Admittedly, you couldn’t really focus on what he was saying, just that he was telling you how he was getting back from a trip with his friends. Something about being an art collector, something about vitamin B powder…
You don’t even know what you replied to his questions and stories, if you even responded at all or if you just sat there, listening but not really listening.
The task of trying not to make an even bigger fool of yourself in front of this beautiful stranger got you through the better part of the dreadful two hours, until the very end.
When the plane shook, only once and it was just very light turbulence, but that was enough for you to spiral again.
Curse the meds that were probably thrown away by housekeeping at that point, and curse you for leaving them behind.
You were back to square one, even though there were only twenty minutes left to endure. Your hands gripped whatever they could find as a means to ground yourself, and it just so happened that his hands were nearby.
You remember his long and delicate fingers wrapping around your sweaty ones, holding your hand back.
You remember him telling you that everything was fine, that you were almost home.
“Breathe.”
“In and out. 1… 2… 3…”
“That’s it… It’s almost over.”
You remember his warmth not leaving your palm until the plane landed, and the other passengers started getting their luggage from the overhead storage.
When you made it back onto solid ground and inside the safety of the airport, you thanked him for putting up with you the past couple of hours. He said he was glad that he could help, and you asked for his name then, shyly.
“Namjoon,” he answered with a dashing smile. “I told you on the plane.”
You remember flushing with embarrassment once again.
You walked together outside, then stopped to stand in silence as each of you ordered your own Uber.
Yours arrived first, and Namjoon helped you put your suitcase in the trunk of the car.
Sure, you might not remember much of what happened on February 24, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you’re sitting here, in the waiting lounge of that same airport three and a half years later. This time, you remember to bring your meds, but nevertheless, your leg still bounces in anticipation of the flight you’ll be boarding soon. Until his hand lands on your knee to soothe your nerves, and his voice is clear in your ears.
“Stop that,” he chuckles. “You’re making my seat vibrate.”
You shoot him a glare and your best pout. “I can’t believe you’re making me fly on our anniversary. I should be so mad at you.”
He laughs then, gentle hand moving from your knee to interlace your fingers, diluting this “anger” of yours that’s already as non-existent as it is.
“How mad would you be if I told you that we can do whatever we want for the next five stress-free days? Fancy hotel spas, lounging by the pool all day, dinners right on the beach… I even called your boss and asked for two more days off if you want to stay longer.”
You bite the inside of your cheek to keep from smiling, but he sees right through you. “Still very mad.”
He narrows his eyes playfully, squeezing your hand because he knows he’s already forgiven. “And how mad would you be if I kissed you? My kisses always make you feel better, mhmm?”
You remember that feeling you had on February 24, when you saw him smile for the first time.

The Dichotomy of My Brain
Every day, I try so hard to be happy! I'm finding that a lot of it depends upon my mindset. I've been thinking of some great examples. Maybe you can relate:
1a. My best days are ahead of me! 1b. My best days are behind me!
2a. Today is gonna be a great day! 2b. Another day of the same old dumb-ass bullshit, wft?
3a. I believe the Universe works in my favor. So, there is nothing to worry about because everything will work itself out. 3b. The Universe is “out to get me.”
4a. I am grateful for so many things…my job, my YouTube channel, my health! 4b. The “activities of daily living” are wearing me down…same shit everyday!
5a. I’m gonna focus on bettering myself. 5b. Jeff is so lazy. I hate working with him!
6a. Life is a gift and I plan to enjoy each moment. 6b. I didn’t sign up for this bullshit life!
7a. Today, I’m full of confidence & mojo! 7b. I don’t even know how I’m gonna get through the day!
8a. I’m so excited for what my future holds! 8b. My grandparents lived to be 90+ years old. I sure hope I don’t live that long!
9a. Today, everything is going to fall into place so there’s nothing to stress about. 9b. If one more thing goes wrong, I’m gonna lose my effing mind!
10a. Today, I will be my best self…and better each day! 10b. Getting old really sucks!
11a. My day didn’t start out great, but I know things will get better! 11b. Oh great, this is gonna be another shitty day!
12a. Come on, I can do this. I’ll just complete these tasks one at a time…and feel so proud at the end! 12b. There’s no point in even trying…I don’t need to add another failure to my resume.
13a. I’m not going to engage with negativity. 13b. I can’t wait to give this dumbass a piece of my mind!
14a. I can’t wait to get to the gym for a nice workout. 14b. I need to get to the gym to burn off this anger…before I kill somebody.
15a. This car just pulled out right in front of me…I guess they must be in a hurry. 15b. I’m gonna tailgate this asshole that just cut me off. He is clearly trying to ruin my day on purpose!
16a. I’m gonna eat healthy today so I feel great tomorrow. 16b. Today was a pile of shit so I’m gonna order pizza & drink beers all night!
17a. I’m alright being single…actually, I quite enjoy it! 17b. I’m so tired of being single!
18a. I’m so proud of the YouTube video I just posted. I’m going to ignore the comments because other peoples’ opinions simply don’t matter to me. 18b. Look at the comment this nerd just left on my video! I’m tired of this bullshit…I’m gonna stop posting videos for a while.
19a. Look at all these beautiful women in the gym! 19b. OMG, I hate running into this guy at the gym!
20a. Challenges simply make me stronger. 20b. I’m gonna quit my job if I have one more day like this!
21a. Got fired today, no biggie…I’ll just find something better! 21b. I can’t believe my boss fired me…I’m gonna sue his ass!
The end.

PJO Headcanons (probably unpopular)
College:
1. Annabeth attended Harvard
2. Percy went to the New Rome University (come on you guys our boy is smart but with his record this is his best shot)
3. I can see Percy becoming either a teacher. social worker, or marine biologist
3a. the school is for demigods so he doesn't have the issue of dyslexia, he however has to study a lot, but if its marine biology he internally knows everything
3b. He is a diver for the swimming team because the speed thing would be cheating.
4. Frank and Percy are roommates during college
5.Frank and Hazel break up but get back together as adults.
6. Leo doesn't attend college but opens his own mechanic shop.
7. Leo invents demigod friendly tech
Post College:
8. Annabeth and Percy made long distance work, but Annabeth’s careers makes her jump from place to place, Percy follows her around.
9. Because Percy moves in with Annabeth, Frank is by himself for a while.
10. Will is still going through college during this time because med school
11. I believe Clarisse and Chris become close friends with Annabeth and Percy because there are not that many couples that stayed together and they double date or something
11a. Clarisse and Percy hate admitting that they are friends and will deny it at all cost.
11b. They are constantly making jabs at each other
12. Clarisse becomes a detective (think of Rosa from B99)
Family:
13. @thejudgingtrash has posts that are amazing regarding parenting/ jobs
14. Will and Nico adopt (I don’t see them using a surrogate but I guess thats a possibility)
15. Frank and Hazel have two kids, they were both only children, and Hazel loves her brother Nico and realized how “lonely” an only child is so they decided on two. A girl name Nicole, and a boy name Fai
16. Leo decided to become a foster parent being that he was in the system and he wanted to have a safe space.
17. Percy and Annabeth have two kids as well, (see 13), they are working parents and know that they want to have careers but also a family and three kids are a lot of work.
17a. They were all planned pregnancies. They had their first at 27
17b. I either see them having 2 boys, or a boy and a girl. 2 boys, one with curly black hair but that is identical to Percy in the way that Percy is to Poseidon, and the other boy is Annabeth’s mini me but with straight blonde hair and darker grey eyes. boy 1′s name is James after Sally’s dad, and boy 2′s name is Adler because Annabeth got to name him and she couldn't think of another name, and she didnt want to use Oliver because OJ, but also didnt want to use a name that had a tragic story. for my second scenario James remains but Adler becomes Allison (Ally), a girl with wavy black hair and grey eyes that looks a lot like Annabeth and Sally
17c. Percy is the stricter parent.
Camp(s):
18. New Athens isn't a thing, the camp expands but the camp is designed to be a summer camp. so no city
19. As it turns out Zeus had a bunch of kids that started coming out of the wood works when the gang was at college (turns out Percy’s wish worked in his favor being that he had broken the pack)
19a. Hades didn’t have any kids cause he was the only one that was true to his word
19b. Poseidon always jokes about more demigod children but they never appear (he truly loved Sally and wanted to make her a queen- thats canon)
20. Will and Nico once took in one of the Zeus’ kids for a while
21. They all visit during the summer, but aren't truly there as campers
22. On August 18 they celebrate Kronos defeat while also remembering the fallen heroes
23. The seven stories have become larger than life, and their personalities have been obstructed by people’s stories to the point where some of them are very far fetch (cough cough kinda like the fandom cough)
24. The old campers all tease each other with the far fetch stories

This is one that will definitely be updated over time to add in any jokes someone may add in their own ones that Merlin may have "Helped" with. If you see any, happily tell me about em!
Much like the last one, I will limit it to 50 and start adding more as time goes along, when I hit one hundred from not only my ideas but other peoples, it will be reposted.
1. Under no circumstances will any of these rules be removed/changed, Merlin and any of his future counterparts will all be under the effects of these rules.
1a. It was revealed that we actually had to make a Geass for him to understand the above. This list is going to be a pain in the ass.
2. I will remember that "Excalibur Galatine" is not "Insta-Tan in a Blade" and will not pressure Gawain into using it while at the beach.
3. Spiking the Irish servants meed with something from the Pirates Arsenal is not allowed, the damages to the Simulation Room are still extensive.
4. "I am basically God" is not the best way to get into the pants of Jeanne D'Arc, I will keep that in mind.
4a. "I can kill God" is definitely the best way to get into Avengers pants.
5. Singing any form of meme songs is not allowed, no matter how catchy they are.
6. "Hero Creation" is not to be called "Bockity Boocus, Your Vagene is a Penis." Even if it did cause someone to laugh, the confusion that soon enough followed was not amusing.
7. Stop forcing Mordred to follow you with a boombox playing Shrek Songs, its basically breaking rule 5.
8. Yes, Soup is delicious. No, telling Arthur to shove the Potion of Youth in it isn't. Just because I can say that it helped with Kiyohime and Masters relationship, does not mean I am innocent.
9. Coaxing Arthur into punching Gilgamesh is not allowed, no matter how much of a "Fucking Bastard" he is for trying to force your "Pure and Wholesome" daughter into marriage.
10. Just because Fou hates you, doesn't mean you can piss him off then dodge so he kicks the nearest servant behind you in the face.
11. Writing a sick note is not a good way to sit in my room and watch anime. Servants can't get sick.
12. Just because master feels useless, does not mean that I should bring the "Card System" into Chaldea or make him a magical girl.
13. Could you stop sending Arthur to the kitchen to make you meals? Its getting frustrating because he cooks for everyone -Nameless
14. Giving Kiyohime "advice" is no longer allowed. No more info is needed.
15. "Magic" is not a viable excuse when someone asks you how or why you did something.
16. Just because you were a Grand Caster, does not mean you can waltz into the Babylon Room and kick Gilgamesh off of the throne under the pretense that you are of "Higher Class".
17. Yes, Lancelot did cuck your "Pure and Wholesome" kids. No, you cannot show him the Pain while dressed up as a naruto character.
17a. Do not use gravity manipulation in the dining room, tables are hard to replace.
17b. Turns out that I cannot summon Cerberus without people being pissed, who would have guessed?
18. It is understood that you are a massive playboy, but stop trying to convine the female servants that a Strip Club is a good idea.
19. Providing Arthur with any items is not allowed, this includes and is not limited to: Corrupt Grails Excalizords Motorbikes Copies of Braveheart Illusionary Spells Voice Manipulator Ideas
19a. The above applies to any future servants that are easy to manipulate.
20. We understand you can use magic to make items, but never shove a key into the Key Hole on Abigail's forehead again.
21. Painting every single one of Kintoki's items is not allowed. This goes for double if you try to call him Gintoki.
22. "Suiten Nikkō Amaterasu Yano Shizu-Ishi" does not translate to "Eightfold Blessing of How Ugly Your Are", not even if it uses a mirror as a focal point.
23. "You're probably related to me somehow" is not the best ice breaker for new servants.
24. Becoming female is not allowed.
24a. BECOMING FEMALE IS NOT ALLOWED.
24b. NO, NOT EVEN IF YOU ADD A DICK!
25. While going to the beach is fun, do not reach into other versions of Chaldea under the pretense of hanging out with "Your Friends" Merlin.
26. We understand that Fou is small and has been running in the corner for the last few years, but please don't make Werefou a thing.
27. Fanservice is not needed. We do not need to see Julius shirtless. Though, the slimmed down version was not something I would complain about -Gudako
28. Pretending you are Aqua from Konosuba is not allowed when you gift Blackbeard the ability to take panties.
29. "Arthur stole something" is not the best conversation starter and I will not use it in any further lines unless a Code Blonde level security announcement is needed in the future.
30. Trying to "Persuade" someone to do something is not allowed when the persuader has a rockin body and white hair. Just because you can become female does not mean you can do it -Gudao
31. Please stop annoying Antonio Salieri by turning into him and proclaiming Mozart to be a god.
31a. Stop turning into Master and offering "Services" to female servants.
31b. Don't turn into the director.
32. Just because you know magic, does not mean you should use it.
33. Highschool DXD is not what you should make Arthur watch, nor should you attempt to recreate dress break. Especially to use during combat to distract male/female servants.
34. Ibaraki is not to be teased for supposedly using dye on her hair, she is a natural blonde and should not be teased.
35. Hugging is fun. But please, don't hug Gudao while looking like Kiyohime. Especially when a female servant who is a weebit hostile is watching -Da Vinci
36. Convincing Nero and Elizabeth to hold a concert on the tables in the Dining Room is not appreciated. We may not have proof it was you, but we shall assume none the less -Staff
37. "Holy Hand Grenade" is not another name for "Excalibur", stop caling it as such.
37a. "Arondight" is no longer to be referred to "Sword of Promised NTR", no matter how much Osakabehime wishes to draw it.
37b. "Castle Condom" is not an alternative name for "Lord Camelot".
38. Do not, under any circumstances let Merlin into the Rayshift Room without anyone to see what he does. The last time he took control of it, he changed to location and hid it with a spell. Everyone was sent to that one time he had an orgy with a Queen and her kids.
39. Shouting out that Karna would make a hot female in both the looks and literal departments is not appreciated. Even if it did cause Arjuna to choke on his tea.
40. "You let [Insert Name] do it!" is not an excuse to do something you are banned from doing. Stop trying.
41. I am banned from making any mass produces/weaponized version of the Polygamist Castration Fist, no matter how much we dislike Gilgamesh, it will not be used on him.
41a. Maybe just a little.
42. Yelling out a random swear word is not appreciated whenever you stub your toe near Nursery Rhyme.
43. Quoting erotic novels is not needed. ESPECIALLY ON THE BATTLEFIELD!
44. Merlin is banned from any type of erotic media, if he is found reading or watching, he will be banned from leaving his room for a month and all of his things will be confiscated.
45. I am no longer allowed to hand out Invisibility Cloaks to people who quote Gurren Lagann.
46. "Reverse Swallow" does not mean "I Got Drunk, Time To Throw Up", it never has and never will.
47. Stop renaming Noble Phantasms in the Database, it isn't amusing.
48. Walking up to an American Servant and asking "Hows the Slave Trade?" is not a good way to start a conversation.
49. "Arthur did it" is not longer a viable excuse when everything goes down hill.
50. WHY DO PEOPLE EVEN LISTEN TO YOU!?
51. We understand that you love your Noble Phantasm, but the prana strain is too much. Especially when you summon Fou and proceed to throw him off of the tower mid NP.
51. I am prohibited from bodyswaping Blackbeard with any of the female servants after the Raikou and Abby incident.
51a. "Cosplay" purposes is not a valid reason.
51b. "Bodsplay" sounds ridiculous and not valid too.
51c. NO IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO DO IT WITH GILGAMESH INSTEAD. AGAIN.
52. I will not turn Gilgamesh into a woman and make him taste a gallon of his own medicine.
52a. Nor I will use my "incubus" treasure to discipline him.
54. I shall not summon Freud to help Mo-chan with her daddy issues.
55. Merlin is banned from requesting any form of writing from Shakespeare.
55a. Merlin may not convince servants or Chadlea Staff to request literary works to be commissioned on his behalf to Shakespear, even if the servant in question agrees with the request.
55b. Especially from Kiyohime or Blackbeard
