I was going through a seriously stressful time leading up to NYCC 2018 to the point where I almost abandoned this cosplay and cosplaying in general. I still look back at that time in utter bewilderment. I don't know how I pulled this cosplay together. I never got to incorporate the lighting the way I originally envisioned but I threaded the EL wire through some chains and moved on with my life. And swung it around on the Hudson River waterfront with my friends. You just never know when a cosplay "failure" or adaptation becomes a fun party trick.
