Okay, my top three cm ships:

Morcia !!!! Am I right? I actually forgot because not a lot of peeps talk about it. And, of course, platonically. I just love their bond. The comfort and safety. I'm a sucker for a good ole platonic friendship.

Jemily. Need I say more? I'm not pushing things, and I love JJ and Will's relationship, but the chem between JJ and Emily is so silly I just gotta hand it to them.

I actually really just have those two. I get a lil jelly when I try to ship Reid or Hotch with someone, but if I really had to choose, it would be Haley and Hotch (idk the ship name, sorry!) It didn't work out for them in the end, but I believe Haley did her best to be understanding. Plus, hello?! The woman had to take care of a child. Then, this guy dips for his job as if childcare is a walk to the park. And we all saw how distraught Hotch was when she died. It was an unfortunate love story, but I loved it. I still bawl when I see them on S1. And will only ever link Hotch (willingly lol) to Haley. Nobody come at me pls.

Next! My top three cm characters:

Elle Greenaway. She was one of the characters that got me bi panicking. I wished she stayed longer. The way she treated Reid makes my heart melt. She's an icon.

Spencer Reid. But early seasons Reid. Before Derek left. Don't get me wrong, he was still amazing in the later seasons, but I love a socially awkward man who's so smart but also so dumb at the same time. Why? Because I'm very extra and love to drag them around like a teddy bear.

Penelope Garcia. She's not the best, and I heard she's babied in the current season, but the way she brings joy to the team gets me. Plus, I have a collection of mugs that I don't even drink from. I fully believe I'd vibe with her so fast. And I'm pretty much a feral, flirty gal, soooo she's just so me but also not so me lol

December 2017- The Duchess, wearing a shimmering metallic lavender evening gown, speaks with guests at the annual Advent Ball at Clemons Palace. The Duchess paired the bespoke gown with her late mother's Houston Arch Tiara, on loan to her from her grandmother, Sophie Styrne-Montague Houston, Duchess of Plamondon.

Your Digital/Cyber AU seems really cool and you seem super passionate about it so I wanted to put together a playlist that I feel fits the vibe I got from your art and stuff you tagged with Profile Stan! Here’s some of my thoughts behind how I went about picking stuff:

To kick it off, I knew I had to have Bo Burnham’s “Welcome to the Internet” since most everything takes place in the online world. Also, it’s got that sort of devious cyber vibe that I think fits Profile Stan.

In general, I wanted to have a lot electronic-y sounds so I went with a bunch of Vocaloid songs. There’s also so many that fit the idea of being taken over by something electronic, from WANOPO’s “Remote Control” to VocaCircus’ “Copycat” to the ever classic Crusher-P’s “ECHO”. For the songs that weren’t in English, I included English covers by my favorite Vocaloid cover artist.

When I think “evil doppelganger”, my brain immediately goes to Bipper because I was a huge Gravity Falls fan back in the day. So, I included some songs that remind me a lot of him, including one specific fansong (“deCIPHER”). Along those lines, I also included Disparition’s “Eliezer’s Waltz” because it’s from the WTNV episode that really first introduced Cecil’s evil double.

I saw that your AU took some heavy inspiration from Be More Chill, which is not something I was ever into, but my sibling was and they told me that the songs that had the most evidence of the main character being taken over were “Be More Chill (Pt 1)” and “Upgrade” so I made sure to include those.

Outside of the Vocaloid songs, I tried to include more songs about being replaced/overtaken by something and fighting for control. So, that includes songs like “Control”, “Freaking Me Out”, and “The Wolf”. And I did include one additional song fully in Japanese with no cover (Ado’s “Fleeting Lullaby” from the One Piece movie) mostly because it fits this idea EXACTLY and also Ado is an incredible singer (don’t worry, there’s English subtitles if you turn on CC).

Any songs not specifically mentioned do fall under one of these categories or just fit the general vibe I felt while putting everything together. I hope you like this playlist and that it aligns with your vision for your AU!

For having maybe 20 minutes of screen time in all four seasons, disappearing 14 episodes in, and barely being mentioned again, Penelope Park really is one of the most iconic Legacies characters and I think a big part of that is because they just let her be so unapologetically herself.

And you're asking how the Easter parade in Gatlinburg went

INSIDE CATTANOOGA KLATSCHE, GATLINBURG, TN: To answer such a question as many of you were probably asking ... With partly cloudy skies for the most part, the day turning out rather beautiful, many of the trees in the Smoky Mountains starting to go into bloom for the most part, and a few of the black bears starting to come forth from hibernation.

It may not have been the Pasadena Doo-Dah Parade, or even those on the likes of New York's Fifth Avenue or the Atlantic City Boardwalk (especially in earlier, more glamourous times), but the choice of route (as in the section of the Parkway between the split of US 411 and 441 and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park--more or less Beautiful Downtown Gatlinburg, to paraphrase Gary Owens from back on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In back in the day) pretty much attracted considerable curiosity from the Easter weekend crowd in the Queen Mother of Tourist Traps.

In keeping with Easter Parade tradition, it was more or less walkabout all along the Parkway, waving to the somewhat confused crowd wondering what the whole was about to begin with (though you had plenty of meet-and-greet and selfie opportunities among the characters). Naturally, the Cattanooga Cats "themselves" led the parade, real informal like, no welcoming banner ... but even then, Kitty Jo couldn't resist the selfie opportunities. Or even Scoots, for that matter; it seems Scoots, considering his modest stature, must have something of a liking, even if his storytelling wasn't fascinating enow.

And you could imagine the reaction of the crowd to the presence of yours truly, Huckleberry Hound and Crazy Claws strolling the Parkway ... or even Augie Doggie on the shoulders of his doting Doggie Daddy ... Top Cat and clowder, with Choo-Choo and Fancy-Fancy getting their share of fan attraction ... Peter Potamus and his diving enterouge, with plenty of the crowd rather surprised that Peter was an amazing diver in his own right ... Penelope Pitstop, kissing plenty of spectators ... those Banana Splits, quite the cutups (even Drooper going into the "Super Drooper" routine near the Gatlinburg Space Needle, to the bemusement of fans) ... Scooby-Doo and crew ... perennial crowd favourites, the Hair Bear Bunch ... Lori, Gator, Braveheart and Inch High, Private Eye ... Hong Kong Phooey, with a silly little tweaking of tai ch'i ... Captain Caveman and his cousins, the Slag Brothers, "going ape" and liking it ... you couldn't help but resist the Skatebirds going the inline-skating act ... even Kwicky Koala taking things a bit on the Aussie side by throwing Cherry Ripe and Freddo Frog bars to the crowd, as well as packets of Throaties (a popular Australian brand of throat drops), not to mention The Bungle Brothers doing Abbott and Costello justice with their "Who's on First?" routine with George in Bud Abbott's role and Joey doing Lou Costello's.

(Seems that for some reason, some in the crowd were rather surprised to discover what said Cherry Ripe bars were like, basically mashed cherries, dessicated coconut and dark chocolate. And for a lucky few, Kwicky "himself" passed out boxes of classic Australian snack crackers Jatz and Vita-Weat.)

After the parade ended, or some resemblance thereof, Kwicky Koala got out a box of another iconic Australian staple--Sanitarium Weet-Bix cereal, not quite Shredded Wheat but rather interesting by itself. Even if they turned out a little like glue in the end.

And the Cattanooga Cats dishing up typically Southern smoked ham for dinner, along with cheesy hash browns, green bean hot dish--and Kitty Jo's storied chess pie for dessert. Washed down with lemonade blended with hibiscus flower extract--what could get more interesting, to begin with?

And you can imagine how the crowd felt at the sight of the parade, otherwise not promoted well beforehand.

Anon you caught me right before I was Abt to go to sleep but I can't not do this. It's for my girl (feel free to send me more while I sleep btw these r fun)

favorite thing about them: LITERALLY WHERE DO I EVEN START. She's one of my top ten protagonists of all times. I love the lessons she learns, the way she learns them, I love watching her grow and struggle and thrive. I love her so so so much. To keep things simple(ish) I will say that my favorite thing about Luz (which I've mentioned once or twonce before) is that she's an objectively cringey, very ND coded kid who's still given the utmost love and respect from the narrative. She gets to be objectively fucking uncool and this story still loves her. And it's nice it makes me feel loved by proxy

least favorite thing about them: I mean, I'd say in season 1 it's the tendency to flatten the boiling isles and it's people into 2 dimensional tropes for easily comprehension, but that's also one of my favorite flaws of Luz and the narrative always makes an interesting point out of this attitude. Maybe it's the suicidal ideation bc it really scared me the first time I watched thanks to them. I knew nothing bad was gonna happen (within reason), this is Disney, but I was like DAMN THEY'RE GOING THERE!!!

favorite line: okay I actually cannot in good conscious choose one bc my friend once informed me that me and Luz just. Talk the same. Same silly idioms and phrases same whimsical expressions and syntax same humour, etc etc. It's a chicken egg situation and do not know who started it but I know that it's frighteningly accurate. So I'll just go for the safe classic "the only thing I've ever really wanted was to be understood" bc. Y'know. Best moment in the whole show and everything

OTP: you guys already know I'm here for lumity but I will let you guys in on the fact that when I first watched the show and was still on the early episodes of season 1 where Amity is a dick I was firmly on team willuz. I still love them <3

nOTP: Luz and Hunter. It's just really not for me, even if I can see why it appeals to others. I'm too attached to the familial reading of their dynamic and the doors that opens up analysis wise. Also my irl brother is a hunter kinnie and I just outlined my credentials for being a Luz kinnie so /j

random headcanon: she played guitar when she was younger! The one in the basement belonged to Manny and he'd sit her on his lap and show her simple chords and riffs. She got a ukulele so she could practice. Then when Manny died she fell off playing it bc it felt wrong doing it without him, even though she still played uke sometimes. She picks it back up though during the season 3 timeskip and post canon! Also she was born in New York and lived there til she was 2/3, at which point she moved around a few states until landing in Connecticut at the age we see in the thanks to them video diaries (I wanna say 7 or 8?)

unpopular opinion: I also think Luz gets characterized as more bitter/vengeful/surly than she really is, especially in fics set around season 3. She wants to be happy, to have fun with her friends, she just feels like doesn't deserve it. Also I low-key think Luz is like. A genius. Just in an unconventional way. She rediscovered a lost form of magic and then taught herself it all on her own. She probably struggles with long division but I mean it when I say she is literally a genius imo
