I'm voting Kotoko Guilty this round for quite a few reasons. First off, the only other two characters who have been voted guilty are Haruka and Muu. Yk. Minors. Who are already in a shitty mindset, who's verdict will most likely make that worse? Yeah. I would rather not have them beat up by Kotoko. And she WOULD beat them up- she would have beat up Amane if she hadn't been stopped, and Amane is much younger than Haruka and Muu.

I don't even mind her fighting injustice to feel good about herself. I mean, she's still fighting injustice. Regardless of her personal feelings about it, she's still doing good things. It's the way she goes about it that worries me. The article she was reading on her phone states that "more violence than necessary was used". Of course, the article could always be biased, but Kotoko has shown herself to be a violent person. Her call to us to vote everyone else in Milgram as Guilty, regardless of their crime, is a request for us to give her permission to make them her enemy and crush them. She would apply the same amount of force to, say, Yuno- someone who simply had an abortion because she didn't want the baby- as a person who kidnapped a child.

Kotoko sees everything in black and white. Yuno's "crime" of an abortion is just as evil as Haruka's crime of murder. Here's a reminder of the character's crimes (from my understanding):

Haruka: killed out of desperation to be seen, to have his mother finally acknowledge him after he wasn't good enough (ie, neurotypical) to keep up with the other kids.

Yuno: Had an abortion because she didn't want the baby. She didn't have some tragic reason why, she had a normal life. She was simply doing as she pleased.

Fuuta: Took part in cancel culture, which ended up doxxing a minor and she took her own life. He didn't want to accept responsibility for this, but it was clearly weighing on his mind.

Muu: She bullied others with her friends, and then her friends turned on her. She reached out to a classmate for help, but didn't receive any. Muu stabbed her in a panic, after alluding to either her or the classmate dying at the end of all of this.

Shido: Medical malpractice ? I think ? It's still not clear to me idk

Mahiru: Abused her boyfriend until he offed himself due to her sheltered life and toxic positivity. She feels as though she can't change, and she wants someone to love even if it hurts both of them.

Kazui: Lied about romantically loving his wife so that he could fit in to society at large. When he finally opened up about his feelings, the shock of it all caused his wife to end her life. He cared for her, but can't continue lying like this.

Amane: Killed her abuser, and is clinging to religion to both justify it to herself and comfort herself.

Mikoto: Still unclear whether he or John did the murder, how many murders there were, who was murdered, etc. The focus isn't exactly on the murder, moreso how mentally ill people are pushed to their limit with no support or help from others and the unhealthy coping mechanisms that can arise from that.

She tells us to throw away our sympathy. But understanding and kindness and sympathy are so so so important- not just in Milgram, but everywhere else, too. Yes, these are just characters, but a popular theory is that they represent societal issues. And I do believe that's true. They may not be real, but they represent real problems real people face. By ignoring the nuance, we blindly swing at whatever we're told is "guilty". Kotoko only attacked the prisoners we announced as Guilty. She won't act on her own moral code, merely the law. We are the law in Milgram, so she follows us.

I adore Kotoko, but her mindset is genuinely dangerous. While this is unlikely (cough, Amane) I hope her Guilty vote will help her. But it probably won't- Guilty votes destroy a person. But I can't vote her Innocent, either. I don't forgive her for her black and white thinking. Thus, she is Guilty to me. I'm very curious how she'll develop after this. I'm a little scared, too, but oh well.

Admin Saturn: I now have a crush on kazui! The other admins have been trying to convince me that because his whole arc is showing why he's not a good husband to his wife but like bro... open marriage and a guy that buys me flowers and holds my hand and takes me on drives? Sounds pretty swaggy to me! Also he ate a bird! Thats kinda wack!

Overall based on the info we have and everything he's said in his VD (assuming its to be trusted cause he does have that whole lying thing going on), I would personally go with inno. Like unless his sin was suicide baiting her, I don't entirely see how this could turn into a guilty situation. Definitely not on the same level as a lot of the other prisoners. (looking at how guilty mahiru should be but isn't getting)

Admin Venus: I'll summarize what I talked about in my theory, but honestly, I feel like Kazui didn't do all that much wrong. He seems like he just kinda let life go the way other people wanted it to go for him, and somewhere along the way he realized he really didn't enjoy it. At some point he got "greedy" and took steps to try to change that, but his wife probably committed suicide or possibly got into some kind of accident or something. Either way, that's what resulted in her death.

Between that and him being useful on defense from a meta standpoint, I'm not sure why I would vote him guilty. I wish we knew more though, I feel like both half and Cat were pretty sparse on details relating to the actual death of his wife. Like, I understand your situation, Kazui, tell me what actually happened!

Side note though, it's really interesting to me in the audio drama that he says he wants Es to find out his sin. In the first trial, I'd thought his MV was giving nothing because he was purposefully burying details to hide them from us. After hearing that line in the audio drama and seeing this MV, I feel more like Kazui's repressing his feelings on whatever his sin is so hard that even the MVs can't quite get at them.

(Also, the fact that we still haven't seen anyone who he's romantically involved with (other than his wife) adds to the theory that he's gay for me. A lot of other people (Shidou's wife, Mahiru's lover, etc.) have gotten relevant characters' faces revealed this time, and while we did get that for Kazui's wife, I feel like who he was with would've been revealed to us unless there was a specific reason to hide it (ex. he was with a man).)

Admin Mercury here. Uhhh I really got nothing on my mind but shitposts tbh. When listening to his VD, I really got the impression he was still lying or at least being overly dramatic like the theater kid he is. Especially in this part:

Admin Neptune: I'm definitely team innocent. Although it seems like Kazui hurt his wife by not wanting to be married anymore, he tried to be a better person and stop lying to her. Unfortunately, according to him, this resulted in her death. It doesn't really seem like he did much wrong, especially compared with many of the other prisoners, and he helps keep the prisoners safe.

The part where his wife's image transforms into what is seemingly a man with an apple for a head (along with other parts such as the "I can't stop, I can't be normal") leads me to believe that he's gay. Assuming that the apple is supposed to represent something he feels is forbidden, this part could represent his desire to date/marry a man instead. I find it interesting that he sees this image through an alcoholic drink, and I feel like it represents something but I'm not completely clear on what.

Since Kazui says "I can't live unless I lie" as mentioned above in the VD, I wouldn't be surprised if he was still lying, but I do believe that he never actually cheated on his wife. I do wonder if he would consider "emotional cheating" infidelity, and it seems like the temptation might have been there when he says "it didn't even turn into infidelity."

Did Obi Wan really vote to kick Ahsoka out of the Jedi Order???

There’s this weird idea I’ve seen showing up over and over mainly in the comments of tiktok edits of Ahsoka and Idk if it’s just one person and I’m just on a very niche part of Star Wars edit tiktok but it’s bothering me so I want to say this for anyone who may have seen this misinformation:

Absolutely nowhere has it been definitively stated that Obi Wan voted in favour of expelling Ahsoka from the Order.

You are more than welcome to speculate but it is not a proven fact so let’s not lie to fans who potentially aren’t aware of that.

This arc in general bothers me, not because I’m a biased Obi Wan fan who thinks he can do no wrong (quite the opposite in fact), but because I do think it could’ve been written better or at least in more detail. I know Dave claimed otherwise but I don’t believe that it would exist if not to explain why Ahsoka wasn’t in Revenge of the Sith. It was necessary, I love how dramatic it is, but I could also live without it. That's just my opinion though.

Did Obi Wan do as much as he could to help Ahsoka? No. That is a fact. Neither did Plo and those are two people who are meant to be in her corner. It’s super disappointing to watch but it’s also not out of character which is a strength of the arc. People you care about can and will disappoint you which is just a fact of life and understanding that is a vital part of growing up. It’s an uncomfortable truth and it would be cool to know more about Ahsoka's perspective on this considering how young she was when this happened.

Furthermore, people rarely seem to consider the perspective of the council. The public is losing faith in the Jedi (for understandable reasons). Not to mention that people were killed in the bombing and they deserve justice. Like it or not, there was evidence placing Ahsoka at the scene. We know she would never do it. Anakin and Padmé know. Certain members of the council definitely know. However, it would go against the council’s beliefs, and would be wrong for them to bend the legal system to protect one of their own. As nice as it would be, it would only end up making things worse not just for the reputation of the Order but for Ahsoka herself too. She would still be a suspect and to outsiders, she would look guilty, so the council has to follow the legal system. Doing anything else would only amplify the spotlight on her. That doesn’t invalidate her reaction at all, in fact, her reaction is the most compelling part in my opinion. It would, however, be interesting to know what she thinks about it when she’s older though because her views on the Jedi are far from black and white.

I'm also of the view that Palpatine and the Senate did the majority of the damage. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's fuck Palpatine.

When I first saw this arc, my heart sank to see Obi Wan and Plo not giving Ahsoka their full support and it still does make me sad but after reading Dave’s full quote on the issue and reflecting on it more, I understand. Can’t say I’d do the same as I’d probably end up more like Anakin but it was the best thing to do considering the council’s position and the information they had at the time. Not to mention it’s heavily implied through what Dave said and just from watching the show and knowing these characters that the people most likely to vote to save Ahsoka are Yoda, Plo and Obi Wan.

Also let's talk about Obi Wan's reaction to Ahsoka leaving because that shit broke me. He's usually so restrained and composed so Plo having to stop him from going after her and Anakin is a huge deal. I'd love to know what that confrontation would've looked like.

Star Wars characters’ strengths lie in that not a single one of them is a perfect person. It’s what makes them so interesting. Manipulating the narrative to make certain people look like more of a victim and others look worse just picks holes in the story and does a disservice to both the character being victimised and the character being vilified. Ahsoka looks back on her time as a Jedi and misses it and always intended to come back eventually. She didn’t hate them. It would be uncharacteristic of her if she did and Obi Wan was someone who really meant a great deal to her, ever after this arc.

Finally, here is everything Dave said on the matter:

“Then at the beginning of the last arc [of Season Five], she basically saves Anakin the way Anakin would’ve always saved her in the past. And Anakin’s unconscious, he’s like, “What happened?” She says, “I saved your life, don’t worry about it.” It’s fun and he laughs about it then, and he’s not embarrassed by it. They’re a team. So we get them to that moment and then we put a ton of pressure on it.

And through the whole trial, Anakin is the only one that stays 100 percent in her court.

I think Plo Koon stays 75-80 percent of the way in her court because he says, “I don’t believe she could’ve fallen so low.”

In Obi-Wan we really see the Jedi because he is compromised. Obi-Wan doesn’t believe Ahsoka is guilty of these crimes, but he has a very hard time arguing politically that the Jedi Council shouldn’t do what they do to her. He trusts in the Force, which is what they love to say when they don’t know what they’re doing, and they expel her. He can’t argue the logic. He doesn’t like Tarkin’s logic [but he can’t argue] that they can’t try her within the Jedi because the public, which we show in this episode arc, who are losing faith in the Jedi, would cry foul ball. “How can you put her on trial? Of course you’ll find her innocent. She’s a Jedi and you’re a Jedi.” So they expose themselves, and we see how they’re exposed.

All of these things that are wrapped up in Ahsoka’s story, which ultimately make her realize what the audience realizes. “I love the Jedi Order. They’re very important to me, I’ve always respected them. But there’s something wrong here, and I need to walk away from it to assess it.” It all feeds into Revenge of the Sith when the chancellor says, “The Jedi have just made an attempt on my life.” When you see these four episodes, I think you have a better understanding of how he gets away with all of that, because you see how compromised the Jedi Council is. And these episodes aren’t just meant to get Ahsoka on her way, but they’re meant to explain in more detail the scene [in Revenge of the Sith] where Yoda, Mace, and Ki-Adi-Mundi are discussing arresting the chancellor, and what a gamble that’s going to be for them. Because you see that to the average Coruscant citizen who’s not impressed with this war or the Jedi anymore, they’ll see it as treason. It’s probably the arc that connects to the movies the most and has the most impact. I think that’s why it works on so many levels for me and is one of my favorite arcs, because it’s such a companion piece to the films.”

muu is so funny. she believes that being pitiful and cute (and also generous by giving them things) is the only way to get someone to like her and the only way to get forgiven and shes so right. being pitiful, it's probably the only way she's ever been shown care and compassion. her t1 inno vote also, she was mainly voted inno cause during that time the song was full of how she was bullying and how she hated herself and how she hit her limit. being pitiful like that, hitting her limit like that, a girl asking 'is it okay to breath? please tell me' she's pitiful enough to get an inno vote.

i was not exactly part of fandom when inmf dropped, but from all takes i have seen, the main reason she wasn't forgiven was because she didn't exactly regret killing rei. she wasn't in a situation where she was pitiful and she only cared about herself. muu is someone who doesn't have much empathy, she is a bully, she denies being a bully even (i have so so many thoughts on this actually), she killed someone who didn't bully her, she views herself as a queen bee who destroys anyone who betrays her. that's not pitiful. she got voted guilty.

and someone like muu, thats probably a repeating thing in her life. she doesn't care about others, she values herself more, whenever something happens she considers herself so soo pitiful (which is also her caring primarily about herself) she doesn't really regret her wrongdoings, they aren't even wrongdoings in her eyes. how do you think a person like that would be receiving much compassion and care? mainly thru pity! she pities herself and also has such a horrible view of herself. pity is the only way to make someone care about her, other than giving them things.

I had a dream a few nights ago about guilty Muu trial 3 song... the song itself was "I was Human" by Picon. But the video was rlly interesting.. .... she was in a large aquarium place with no exit. The layout was like a maze, with fish tanks in the walls and scattered all over the floor randomly. All the tanks were way too small for the fish, and they were all in clear distress because of this. Muu had been in this building her entire life so she was used to it, and only looked at them with apathy. There were mannequins around as well, looking like her old school friends, they didn't move yet were always somehow in the same room with her no matter which room she went in. She tried to talk to them and be friendly since they're the only other human-like thing in the aquarium, but obviously it didn't replace real human contact. one day she saw Rei, who was the only other real human she had ever seen, and became completely focused on her, but Rei would never look back at her and just kept exploring the aquarium like Muu wasn't even there... Muu started getting desperate for Rei to talk to her, but when she tried to pull away from her mannequin friends and run after Rei, they fell ontop of her and hurt her.

The whole thing had such a sad feel to it but my heart had a strange sweet feeling in it as well... muu was being voted guilty still, though it was by 60%. watching the video changed something in me, it felt like i was watching myself, i was desperate to get her forgiven, but i woke up.. i think if i saw that video irl it'd probably have the effect on me genuinely, i still could feel the sad but sweet feeling in my heart when i woke up... idk i really want muu to be forgiven even though i know she won't be

Episode 6: "SHIVER ME TIMBERS, IT'S A MUTINY BABYYY"—Trinica

Okay we won the challenge blah blah amazing. Colin/Raffy/Jinx survived tribal, whatever, cool. But SHIVER ME TIMBERS, IT'S A MUTINY BABYYY

and it completely backfired. I mutinied with a QUICKNESS because I wanted to be separated from Tanner (because I don't want to be on a tribe of 5 with someone who tends not to perform as well at challenges), Clefford (because we haven't spoken game and he's closer to AJ and Hairie than me), and AJ (because...idk I feel like I'm more inclined to work with others over her and if we were separated it would help me feel less guilty and also be able to play the middle longer).

SO GUESS WHO I END UP WITH. Tanner, AJ, and Clefford. And Hairie, which is good!! But I am so scared because there is no way Hairie doesn't IMMEDIATELY target AJ, and AJ has an idol. Which could potentially send Hairie home. Unless I can get her to vote Tanner or Clefford? Idk. There are moves to be made but I fear the middle isn't a spot I'll be acquainted with for long.

Old people underestimated us so much that they got comfortable with the challenges that led them to consecutive tribal councils.

I'm proud of what YOUNG players can bring to this season. We're strategic, social butterfly, and have the capacity to face everything that will be thrown to us.

Unfortunately, swap came. Perfect timing to eliminate one of us. Thanks to Jay. Those people from my OG tribe is now on the minority namely: Adeline, Shawn, Brandi, and Arvin. I wish them the best and hopefully survive.

I'm still with AJ, Hairie, Tanner, and Trinica. I'm actually thankful, because I know that they're good in the challenges that will keep me safe.

This is so new to me. I don't really have an alliance so far. Compare to my first game back in the Racoon City that on Day 1 I already formed an alliance with MJ and Zukiswa. Our trio dominated the game that season. Now, I'm just taking my time to really assess everyone to what I am to them and hopefully find a common denominator to really align.

Wait for me, but first hopefully survive. This is Survivor after all.

Sooooooooooo. I’m a little bit baffled at everything that went down. I woke up this morning very confused and despite knowing what happened now I’m still kind of like, well that was sudden. Now AJ, I hear you wondering, what are your thoughts and feelings about this?

In short, I’m a bit upset.

I feel like I missed out. I feel like I’m the only one who didn’t get a choice in that matter. And like it’s not just because I was being inactive or I went to sleep early knowing something was happening last night - because I was planning to stay up late tonight after tribal since I thought tribal was going to be tonight (and I knew something was happening after tribal). So I had no way of knowing, and no way of doing anything about it, and no way to make a choice. But I also feel like since it’s really just me who wasn’t online, there’s nothing that can be done about it. Because everyone else is most likely fine with the way things shook out - or at least had a bit of a say in it. So it just kind of sucks on that level.

If I had gotten a choice, this tribe makeup would NOT have been it. This is probably one of the worst layouts of a tribe I could have possibly ended up on. Why? Because it’s very much me on the chopping block if we end up going to a tribal council. Hairie and Clefford will work together, Trinica will probably work with me, and Tanner is the middle vote - though he’ll maybe be more willing to vote with Hairie. Which means I go home. Unless I use my idol. Which I REALLY did not want to use yet.

Also how do I know I’d be on the chopping block? Hairie. Boy is in my DMs trying to guilt me about being in a 4 person alliance chat and not telling him about it. (why would I tell you about every alliance I’m in? that is not how you play this game.) Apparently two unnamed people who got swapped out, which means Brandi and Shawn, or maybe just Brandi idk, told him that the 4 person chat existed before they left. They also said it was my idea. Which it wasn’t entirely. I asked Shawn if they’d think a GC would be a good idea and they were like yeah I was just about to bring that up. And then they were working so I asked people if they were interested. But I made sure to mention Shawn each time.

So yeah Hairie entered my DMs trying to ‘clear the air’ (guilt trip me about an alliance/imply I’m on the bottom of this tribe), and then turned around and wants me to vote for him to get this reward? You’re gonna make me feel even worse about everything and then expect me to give you a reward for it?

This just sucks so much because I really went into this game and have stayed in the mindset of wanting to actually work and play together with Hairie - but he seems to think that anything he learns that I didn’t tell him means I’m actively working against him. Like, if I have to tell him every little detail of my game in order to be in an alliance with him then it isn’t really worth it to work with him. So that’s another level of how this sucks.

Also I was really really excited to potentially meet some players from Antigua, or maybe see and chat with Jinx again (it’s been so long and I miss them), or Raffy, or Colin or any of the cool people who I know nothing about over there. That's what I was most looking forward to in a swap. That and getting away from the drama that happened in Round 1. But like, that didn’t happen.

TL:DR; I’m a bit upset because I’m in a terrible position on this tribe, and that could have been different if the swap happened when I thought it was going to happen (tonight) - which I already planned to stay awake for - instead of being a surprise instant and live tribal last night. Not doing too hot gang. Wish me luck.

A 48-hr creative challenge while I'm on a tribe with only 2 members in a close timezone and everyone else being 6-14 hours ahead is my personal hell. The one person in my timezone (Tanner) barely responds to messages but says he wants to act, which requires him to be on the same page as everyone else. AJ is busy all day but at least is getting her clips done. Hairie and Clefford are just so far ahead that we only have a few overlapping hours (and I think they're at work so it's not like they can be online and responding all the times that I'm online anyway). The tribe is so quiet. Is this going to get done? Is it going to look good? YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE

There was a brief brief moment last night, in the height of my frustration when it took us hours to decide on an idea even though we had an idea very early on in the evening...where I considered throwing it. I don't have it in me, though. But if we lose, I won't be that upset. Hopefully we could send home someone less active like Tanner, maybe AJ would play her idol and send home someone I talk to less like Clefford, etc etc. Hopefully it wouldn't fall on me if we lost. But at this point I've taken over so much of the control of this project (or at least the organization) that I could be an easy scapegoat. Especially since I've performed well in challenges so far and we're nearing a merge. IDK WE'LL SEEEEEE

The challenge was really fun. It was made for us to really get together and bond. Making the music video, which was AJ's idea by the way, was brilliant. Trinica led the challenge and make things organised. Hairie was the one who edited the video and it was great!

We did amazing on making the music video and got the highest score on the challenge. I also wanna commend Elegida's children book. They're smart and it was good.

We've been winning challenges conservatively, that's why we've become so comfortable. Trinica, Hairie, and I decided to make a trio. I think it's good, because at this point of the game that's what I need, an alliance.

Hopefully I reach merge and get to play again finally.

Oh man, thank goodness for challenge advantages! After reviewing the other tribes' projects, I don't think the scoring of ours was PARTICULARLY fair (I would have rated ours above the picture book, even or below the song). I did expect to be docked on creativity, I did mention that as a con to this idea, BUT at the end of the day we put together an amazing video and I'm super proud of it (and the supplemental materials)!

Anyway. Shawn and Adeline are in danger, which sucks. I'm hoping Colin WASN'T working with Zo and Maddison and Shawn/Del can pull them in. But if one of them has to go home, sorry Shawn, I hope it's them. They're too likable!

Hairie

The round started as mutiny which me and Trinica wanted. We managed to get others on our tribe to mutiny but we were late. There were so many people that wanted to mutiny and the first 5 got to be on the same tribe. The rest were randomised. and guess what?! Sin Sazonar and our tribe was completely old tribemates.

The upcoming challenge was a creative comp which thank god we had the 20% ADV which helped and we won YET AGAIN! I'm loving this era of being safe from tribal hahah.

Me and Trinica found the idol at the resort with our purchase and we're ready to flip shit up.

There is like a 0% chance I play this correctly simply because I'm a big target (or will be if I'm not already) and will probably get blindsided... and because Hairie KNOWS I have it, which, oof, I was on a call with him when I purchased the items. I wish I hadn't been. I can lie well, but not if I don't have time to process first. When Jay sent the idol message I literally said "OH MY GOD" and couldn't think of an appropriate way to walk that back to like "oh it's an extra vote!" lmao

If Hairie knows, I do worry that Clefford, Arvin, and/or Tanner will soon know. Which is why I never tell people about idols. Buuuut it is what it is. AND! I have a legacy idol, I don't know what it is but it's good until Final 4. I'm honestly more excited about THIS than I am about the idol because at least there's no downside to me going home with this in my pocket—I just will it to someone else. And Hairie doesn't know about this item (wish it was the other way around where he doesn't know about my idol but OH WELL)!

So. Much. Happened. So, after the challenge, the oldies decided to do a live instant tribal council for drama. I immediately went to Jinx and Amy because I knew they will not write my name down even if we vote opposite ways. I explained that the only real choices would be between Colin and JG. And I was straight up and said I was leaning JG. Amy didn’t want to vote for Colin because she somehow trusts and wants to work with Colin still even if everything she’s done up to that point proved otherwise? In any case, she was just concerned about the numbers. Our saving Grace though was Colin’s deep connection with Zo. Apparently, they grew really close which meant that Zo didn’t want to vote for Colin either. So Colin was able to successfully push JG and we sent JG to the VL in a 4-3 vote. While my confessional was iconic, I must admit that JG was tough in this game to get rid of. He definitely insulated himself well on this tribe. If only we could’ve won one more challenge then he would have been able to skate through to the merge unscathed. In any case, there was a wrench when Colin tried to switch the vote to Jinx, but I told him to vote JG and he did. It was the only way. 1. I can’t get rid of Jinx. 2. No one would have voted Jinx. And then the mutiny came and I knew I needed to get Jinx away from Colin and that I needed to get away so we wouldn’t be pinned as a duo and targeted within a tribe. And Amy was already inclined to go. So Amy Jinx and I all agreed to mutiny so we have majority. And there is still a majority old people when we leave. So theoretically, no matter what, we will send a new school person home and even the numbers out before merge.

Mutiny tribe iconic! I really like Brandi and she is going all in on this challenge and told us all where advantages are probably bc she would be in Danger™️ if we lose. Arvin is invisible but also I want to win and keep someone invisible and thankful around, even if he has the SEA connection. We are making a children's book and somehow I'm on illustration I really gotta start lying about liking to draw on my iPad but thank god we agreed on stick figures in a children's style lol! But I won't be sleeping bc it's still like 13 pages plus activities pages which is originally all I thought I was making. Anyway apparently I had 40 coins, Gave raffy 20 who bought some pearl necklace thing and conveniently forgot to tell me so I'm assuming he has an idol. It's funny bc I thought I had 20 otherwise I would have just gone and bought it myself 🤣 regardless it will be hilarious if he idols me out with the coins I gave him which are half eman's coins. Anyway sitting in a majority on our swap tribe and really no matter what the results are of the challenge, a new school player should go home but I've seen wilder things happen. Also I just love creative challenges so I'm excited to see our final product and excited to see the other tribe's project. Originally I was like I could print a hard cover of our book! But that's my grand idea side not the practical side that knows I'm about to stress over a deadline lol. Vibes are back up 🙌

I told the Mutiny crowd about the DA so hopefully they will see me as trustworthy but also willing to share things I learn about the idol hunt.... so maybe they will share with me, too....

I think I just messed up my game with the "mutiny thingy". Now I'm in the minority when it comes to tribal lines. I hope to create more bonds so that they can trust me. Amy is the only one I didn't play with before and she's so sweet. Raffy is someone I worked with during my first season, and Jinx said we should talk more this season. Brandi is in my only alliance chat in the game. I love our tribe. I think we are a strong tribe that can win challenges. Mutiny tribe ftw! Ahu! Ahu!

I’m liking my new tribe a lot! Obviously Jinx Amy and I are going to be in control, but Brandi is here! I can definitely rekindle a relationship with her. Arvin is sweet too. It just feels like a less dramatic and tense tribe than my original. It’s a breath of fresh air and I feel like my game has been revitalized!

Ahhhhhhh, it's my dreaded creativity challenge. So I did my part while im at the hospital. Huhu. I did voiceovers and it was very hard for me because I have tubes attached to my neck and I have a cough so I had to cut the recordings for every page. I hope Raffy could minimize the background noise since I cannot find a quite corner in the hospital. I hope I contributed enough for the immunity challenge. At the end of the day, creativity challenge is sooooo FUN. Wohooooo!

It's me spending hours doodling fully expecting to lose this challenge unless our advantages come through. 😅 But hey I haven't drawn in a while so it felt good.

We may not have gotten the highest score, but we shared where advantage locations were to make sure they would carry us! That's probably how the new-school tribe got so many challenge advantages. That is very new-school behavior. Most people in the old days would never reveal that information.

I think Brandi wants to boot up an alliance with herself, me, and Hairie like we did in The North Sea. I wouldn't be opposed. But, I don't want to promise too many alliances so I'm not stuck in a situation like I was on my original tribe where everyone felt good about me and I'm stressed on who to vote out.

Okay maybe I judged Colin too quickly. I've heard about him from before the switch and didn't love the vibes I got. But maybe I have to go into this with an open mind. He did a great job with the bracelets, and I think I judged too soon. Let's hope no one makes the same mistake I did, especially not towards me.

those judges are WACK. like our submission was just SO much better. maddison created a FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND FLESHED OUT WEBSITE. adeline WROTE, RECORDED, and MADE A LYRIC VIDEO TO a completely original song for this. ALL of us contributed to fleshing out AntiQua and all of us fell in love with her. i can't believe we lost. challenge advantages honestly have fucked us over so many times.

going to tribal AGAIN is so unfortunate. like I really like this tribe. adeline and shawn honestly just fell in with us so naturally. it's unfortunate because I could see this 5 going together strong in merge.

i kinda spoke into my alliance with maddison and zo that we should keep adeline. she really vibed hard with us and I think she's here to play. it'll be important to have strong allies on the other side going into a merge, where old school will likely still have the minority.

I think it'd be funny if they killed off a character during the trial. Like. In the middle of t3. Like for example if amane is inno voted this round they could put mahiru on a "timer" in which she dies before the trial ends (when amanes t3 votes open perhaps...)

That vote was nuts, I did not expect them to target Jinx. Keep us on our toes!! I'm glad the Esteban threat is gone (RIP King, you made some snake maneuvers but it was a good game) but next up is Bethany.

I think JayJay really trusts me for some reason. She's clueing me into all her deductions and she's so confident but so wrong about everything 😭 but she's someone I can easily pull into my little trust web along with Arvin and Champ.

Theme: A series of unfortunate events.

That last tribal was such a scramble but I'm so shocked things actually worked out even while I was sleeping. This whole week feels like it's been a series of unfortunate events. From the events going on in game with my anxiety to stuff happening on holiday with family disagreements to me falling asleep last night when my vote and extra vote was needed. I'm on thin ice and I feel like i've got a lot of making up to do to people for falling asleep. I am kind of sad Esteban went because though I wasn't 100% allied with him I did consider him someone I could trust. Esteban going was the best case scenario for this particular tribal i'll be honest just to break up alliance numbers slightly.

Things came to a bit of a head yesterday when JayJay asked me if I would vote Jinx. I'm not sure who told her Jinx and I had a disagreement but it felt a little uncomfortable how the vote was posed to me so I had to shut that down. I'm not comfortable allowing a personal misunderstanding affect game. I also feel guilty that It has affected Jinx' game. I hope that was not the reason Jinx' name ended up being put up last night while I was asleep.

I do feel more relaxed especially because we're flying back tonight and I can go back to my flat and take a breather. I still have a week off work to decompress from the holiday.

Going forward in the game. I think Bethany wants to realign with us and I personally trust her. I didn't want anything breaking up our alliance anyway so. If we're able to mend fences then we can pick off the rest of tramoya but if we're not able to i've noticed how smart Jay Jay is very good at getting in between alliances. Jay Jay trusts me but I still have stronger alliances outside of her. I do feel bad that she always feels on the outs but i'm not sure what I can do about that especially because numbers are on the other side right now. For my own personal peace of mind and conscience I may have to reduce communication she's really good at convincing me.

Okay…so me thinks Bethany may have voted Esteban out but that doesn’t make sense unless she was trying to keep the non men alliance in her pocket but also with all JayJay and champ have told me it just doesn’t make sense for it to have been Jayjay. Nothing makes sense but that’s okay I’m probably getting voted out next so I won’t have to deal with it long

Raffy

I feel like I am riding a high here. I did not expect that at all! So, basically, the plan all day was to get one of Champ, JayJay, or Arvin to vote with Trinica, Jinx, AJ, Toni, and me. Champ and JayJay were unwilling to vote with me, but Arvin expressed that he would have my back. I think that was due to a mix of Trinica and I having a close bond with Arvin which meant that he was more willing to keep us in the game. Then, the vote changes from Esteban to Bethany mid-day. I do not particularly know why it changed, but I know it changed. Maybe it is because Bethany would be an easier sell? I also think it was because Bethany had thrown out Arvin's name which meant that Arvin would be more willing to work with us if we told him.

During tribal council, Toni is asleep. I deadass thought my time in this game was over. This meant we did not have a majority, and I was not confident that Arvin would be willing to go to rocks for me. Also, after a last-minute scramble, the vote changed back to Esteban and I was VERY unsure whether Arvin would vote with us since the vote basically changed from under him. I felt that it made us sketchy. However, by whatever miracle, Arvin voted with us. The other side must have flipped their vote to Jinx. I was surprised. And a little upset since I did not want the only person I could fully trust to get voted out. When I saw that fifth vote for Esteban, I thought "Ok. We are going to a tie. Hopefully, I can convince Champ or JayJay to flip their votes as to not go to rocks." But I was very willing to go to rocks for Jinx all the same. However, when I tell you I was shook when that last vote for me came in! Whoever did that, whether by mistake or intention, I praise! They basically single-handedly sent Esteban out which is very good for my game.

Now, I am riding with the Hidra 4. I don't really know if they're in a tight alliance together, but if they are then I am more than willing to get 5th place for them. I am going to stick with them for as long as I can. Its time to be a loyal goat this game.

Jayjay

No matter with who or which way I vote I always seem to be on the wrong side of the votes which sucks especially feeling so sure going to tribal. I guess I should have known that tribal will never be that simple lol. Another day another challenge, which I am having to sit out due to a disadvantage cause curiosity killed the cat on the idol hunt. Now I will be sitting on the sidelines hoping and praying that votes don’t go my way for next tribal. 🤞🏻

Can't believe I didn't recognize What We Do in the Shadows, a show I've actually watched, but got the fucking Grey's Anatomy timestamp.

I'm okay with losing this one though. It's getting to the point where I think people are going to start talking and start realizing that I'm the one who told Raffy that JayJay told Bethany he had an idol, that I told JayJay Raffy was targeting her when I was the one who told him her name, that I've been pretending to feel dragged along on votes when I've essentially finagled every single person I wanted voted out. I think if not in this round, I'm going to be targeted very soon. But AJ is a bigger target, especially now that she's won immunity, so if I can survive this vote, I should be safe for a bit.

Now the question is, who to target for this next vote? Bethany is the obvious choice, but she may have an inkling already.

So obvi still upset that esteban is gone. It’s awful it’s the worst and I hate it but I’m trying to be optimistic and put a positive spin on it and thinking that maybe this’ll allow me to slip under the radar again? I mean I’m not really a threat and I’m trying to play up that Bethany (probably) flipped on me to make it seem like I’m alone and should be swooped up to make a move. Hopefully it works.

OHMYGOD I can't believe I won the challenge. I've never felt more relief going into a tribal council before. I'm so busy rn so not having to worry about my name being out there is fantastic.

Idk what to think about this Tribal. I'm only hoping it goes the way we intend it to. Because at this point every tribal has gone the way I think it will so far. So idk. Praying

Theme: Crossroads

There's so much game left to play but I feel incredibly secure in my current alliance with Jinx, Trinica. These 2 I trust above everything and I know the lines between game and real life have been blurred a few times but I genuinely feel that Jinx, Trinica and I have been able to connect in game and out of game. It feels like we're all working towards the same direction and bigger picture.

I've also come to realise how smart JayJay is which I love to see but genuinely my alliances are elsewhere. I love Tyler but because we don't talk game I don't feel any type of way if I had to vote him out. I'd just miss our chats haha. Equally with champ I wouldn't feel too bad because we don't talk as much. I guess we're at a crossroads right now of not knowing whether or not to burn certain bridges.

I feel a little bad for Arvin. I worry about him feeling included. I wonder if he's making genuine connections or whether he knows/thinks we all just talk to him to swing his vote - that can't feel good. Whenever I don't have to and he's online I do try not to talk to him about game but who knows his silence may just be the effects of time difference.

AJ is a huge worry in this game and has become a threat because she is really good at getting information out of me and asks very direct questions. She's also really good at directing a conversation and bending it to her will haha. AJ for president honestly. She's such a powerful player! I do think we'd need to vote her out soon though. <3

Honestly pretty sure it is me going home and I'm happy about that! Tyler is the only person who talks to me at all and I literally have been doomed this entire game since the swap and am surprised I even made it this far! My mental health is like so low right now because of irl things - nothing to do with the game and I simply do not have the energy.

I voted Raffy last round because I assumed that Jayjay and Champ felt fine with Arvin since they didn't express any worries and I didn't think he would flip! Champ is like taking it personally saying that I am insulting her intelligence by not owning up to voting Esteban WHEN I DIDNT EVEN VOTE ESTEBAN like this game is ridiculous, I don't even like relying on pregames, it feels like cheating in a way to me and I'm just over all of it. If Champ had not relied on our pregame relationship and had actually tried to be a good ally to Tyler and I on the swapped tribe, I would have never even been in that situation!! Her making Tyler/Esteban/I lie about who flipped did us 0 favors, only protected her, Jayjay and Raffy had no reason to like me after all that, it was suspicious asf "not knowing" who the fourth vote was, and it quite literally only protected her. So she can be mad at me all she wants, I quite honestly think it's ridiculous that I'm just expected to play everyone elses games and that me playing the game is being taken as insulting someones intelligence like it's just too far for me and I don't have the mental energy to deal with that.

AJ is claiming the Raffy vote and I have no idea why and like I literally just can't dig myself out of this hole so ya can't wait to go to pondy and ignore this game as much as humanly possible until ftc <3 Tyler wants to use the sword thing to have me do a battleback but I just don't even want to, I just want to not have to worry about this game anymore.

Toni created an alliance chat between AJ, Jinx, Trinica, and me. I think this alliance is something I've been craving since Hairie got voted out. So, I am all good to ride to Final 5 with these people. Our plan right now is to split the vote between Bethany and JayJay. Trinica and AJ have been feeling wary about Bethany for a while now, but they fear that she may have an idol. Additionally, JayJay, Champ, and Tyler have all gone to people (who are not me) saying that they think Bethany flipped on them. They think that AJ voted me last tribal which means they also think Bethany voted Esteban. So, they seem to be of the mindset that Bethany cannot be trusted. Everyone has pushed to get Bethany votes by solidifying with Tyler, Champ, and JayJay. However, in case they are lying to use, our split plan has a win-win scenario. Two of us will vote for Bethany while four of us will vote for JayJay (I am including Arvin in here because the alliance trusts that they will have his vote for this tribal council). Arvin and Trinica will vote for Bethany. This means that either Bethany goes in a 5-4-1 or 5-5 (revote we just vote Bethany), Bethany uses an idol and JayJay goes, or (if JayJay, Champ, and Tyler are actually voting with Bethany have been tricking us) it goes to a 4-4-2 vote where we vote out JayJay. The one flaw of this plan is that we need Arvin to vote with us. If he doesn't, then the plan is toast. I do not think we'll tell him the intimate details of the plan. I think we are just saying to target Bethany. He should heave reason to vote for her considering she threw out his name last tribal AND everyone else is seemingly doing it. I am putting my faith in him again!

So bethany and I have come to the conclusion that it’s probably best for me not to give her the sword and just cut my losses. Hopefully the rest of the players are willing tk recognize that I’m alone and pick me up as a number moving forward to take out the big players in the game like AJ, Jinx, and Raffy (Trinica is also on my radar, they’re really coming into their own as a player). But honestly my game since the start of merge has been god awful so…yeah.

I feel like Bethany and I had a good real talk conversation tonight, knowing she's likely going home. She's such a good player and it's an honor to hear she thinks I'm doing well! I just hope she didn't tell anyone else (and I'm glad she didn't say my name at tribal, but oof @ her saying it's a member of OG Hidra and that she told them outright)

Not me getting anxious after Bethany's message in the chat while having immunity. Though I do worry now that I'll be a much bigger target, I do think it's alright for now since every 'betrayal' has been for the purpose of the core four of pink venom.

Today on BnHA: Flashback!Rat Principal is all “I just want you all to know that I spent nine million dollars turning U.A. into a giant Battleship-style grid that can burrow underground and zoom around in a giant subway maze because Horikoshi lacks a grounded understanding of both civil engineering and economics.” Back in the present day, Jeanist is all, “EVERYONE TAKE HEED, MY COMRADES AND I HAVE DEEMED IT EXPEDIENT TO CONVEY THIS AUSPICIOUS YOUTH BACK TO THIS STRONGHOLD. WE ANTICIPATE THAT WE MAY DEPEND UPON YOUR GOODWILL AND ACQUIESCENCE TO THESE TERMS.” The civilians were all, “NO.” Ochako was all, “EMPATHY, MOTHERFUCKERS, DO YOU SPEAK IT?!” The civilians were all, “oh shit.” Anyway so Ochako is a giant badass, but I’m a little worried that she’s going to get struck by lightning. Please come down from there.

Inside “The Pact”

Hello! For those of you that followed along with The Pact, I received a few questions and requests to get an inside look. I’ll link the post here that explains a bit more about what this is gonna be about.

We’re gonna break this down into sections: first will be answering your questions about The Pact & the characters. Then I’ll show you guys a little about my notes & decision making process (which is very obscure because I just tend to keep a hypothetical tab open in my brain most of the time lol) as well as some pictures of my ideas!!

Thanks for requesting such a fun thing to do now that this series is over. It’s been fun to look back!

Q. What song did the boys dedicate to y/n?

A. “Her” || This is a sad song, but I felt like it fit so well with how the boys had to hide a part of themselves (their feelings) away for the sake of the pact!

Q. Did the boys get mad/how did the boys react to Jungkook’s kiss?

A. Jungkook was a little shocked, and felt extremely guilty on the drive back home. He wasn’t sure if he could stand to tell his hyungs, but he also knew he couldn’t lie to them. Naturally, the second he walked in the house and everyone saw his face, they knew. It was just quiet, everybody was a little hesitant to say anything/bring it up because they were all upset. Only Jimin has heard all of the details of JK’s kiss, whereas the others are simply aware that he kissed her and that’s that.

Namjoon was the most upset, although he didn’t say anything. He just sat there on the couch and did the jaw-clenching thing he always does. Yoongi just tried to change the subject and ask about other aspects of the date. Taehyung was actually pretty pissed, especially because he’d been so good about refraining from kissing you even when you’d asked for it. Hobi had a chat with him later that night and calmed him down. Jin wasn’t angry so much as he was worried that he missed his shot & couldn’t stop replaying his date in his head.

Q. Who fell for y/n last?

A. Namjoon. He’d had a little crush, and that’s why he was willing to go along with the pact. But it hit a point less than a year ago when he fell hard and fast. (you called him in the middle of the night when he was on tour and he realized that your sleepy voice is possibly the most beautiful thing he’s ever heard) The boys noticed and as a result teased him endlessly about it, because he doesn’t quite know how to navigate his feelings.

Q. Who did the boys bet on? (We already know that Jimin bet on Yoongi and won lol)

A. Namjoon bet on JK, Tae bet on Hobi, Hobi bet on JK, Jin bet on JK, and Yoongi bet on Jin, and JK bet on Namjoon (because we all know JK would pick Namjoon lol)

Q. Didn’t y/n ever date other guys? How did the boys react?

A. hahaha ok I actually would have such a fun time writing this Yes, she dated around a bit. For the first year of the pact, she had an on again, off again bf. It wasn’t very serious, and she always made that clear to the boys. They still hated the dude. After they broke up, she only went on a few dates here and there. Didn’t really seriously date. (except for that one time she went on vacation and had a fling, but everyone has decided to forget that) They just smiled and supported her, although Tae was always very clear that he didn’t like any of the guys she dated.

Q. In Namjoon’s date, who was the 1950′s author mentioned?

A. Agatha Christie, the queen.

Q. How did y/n meet Jimin? (he was the one that introduced her to the rest of the group)

A. She was a PR intern for Lee Hyun. Jimin and Lee Hyun are close, and they crossed paths fairly often until Jimin decided to invite her to hang out.

Q. What is y/n studying in school?

A. Public Relations (which will honestly come in handy with her new relationship lol)

Q. Where was Jin in the last chapter when y/n came to the studio?

A. Agh how could you ask me this and bring back all that pain?! Jin was at his brother’s restaurant for some much needed R&R. He ended up staying the night with him, not wanting to go home just yet and have to face his decision.

Q. Who would you personally choose to end up with and why?

A. KIM SEOKJIN. Date #5 was basically for me lol. Like, unapologetically wrote that for myself. Not just because he’s my bias, but because I personally felt like I could picture myself chilling on that couch watching Dateline with him. And it was beautiful. 🤧 Also, while Jin can be loud and goofy, he’s an introvert. I’m an extravert with introverted tendencies, so I just feel like his date would have been the most comfortable for me.

CREATING THE PACT - AN INSIDE LOOK AT MY NOTES

First thing’s first, I have an on-going page in my notes on my phone which is FILLED with ideas & half-formed thoughts. Before I began writing The Pact (or even Spooked, for that matter), this happened:

So you can see that I had no idea what I was doing lol, but I thought that it would be cool. Mainly I wanted an excuse to write OT7 and display all the members in a sweet light. Also, we see that not all of these actually made it into the series. (Tae w/ the family)

BUT THEN, “SPOOKED” HAPPENED, AND A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY POPPED UP

ngl, I cracked up when I looked back at my notes and saw this.

“Sweet Gloria what am I doing to myself” 😂😂 this was when I was pushing “Lost & Found” out and planning for Taehyung’s series (which is why so much is blocked out on my notes, because it’s riddled with spoilers lol) so I literally had no idea why I was jumping into another project as I was already super busy. That’s why I scheduled it for just Saturday’s! (and also why I sometimes posted super late at night lol)

As you can see, Seokjinnie’s date was literally always on my mind. From the very beginning. Which is odd, considering the fact that he didn’t end up being endgame. wow it’s like he’s my bias or something

Occasionally I’d take breaks from hw and work on getting to know how the boys were with y/n. Quotes and poetry serve as a great source of inspiration, and I assigned a quote to each member. (notice the little stars by Jin, Yoongi’s and JK’s names lol, they were my top three as I’m sure you’ve noticed by now)

There were a couple of things that I didn’t think of adding until I was reading through your theories and got an idea of what you needed to push the series in the right decision. i.e. bringing Gina back to explain that she closed the door in Spooked.

I have a whiteboard in my room that I use to map out what I need to do that week for whatever series I’m working on (as well as jot down ideas for new series, which I why this photo doesn’t show the whole board haha)

So here’s a peek at my thought process for writing about how the pact was formed. Sorry if you can’t read it haha

NOW, the last few questions you guys had:

Q. Did you ever change your mind while writing the pact?

A. Yes! I actually originally intended for Hobi to have written the note. It fit very well with how angry he was at first and how worried he was during the date. But by the time I'd gotten to Jin’s date I kinda knew that he wouldn’t be that petty but Jin would haha

I also planned on Yoongi kissing y/n on their date. It was supposed to be on a rooftop somewhere, which we know didn’t happen. In fact, I didn’t really intend for their date to be so disastrous until I was coming closer to having to write it. I think I was a mess, so the date was a mess lol

I had no idea what I was doing for Tae’s date until I wrote it, all I knew was that there had to be a museum. The rest I just made up as I wrote and hoped that it made sense. (also, for some reason I hated the museum portion of the date. Idk why, but it just felt so stark to me. still don’t like it lol)

Q. When did you know how it was going to end?

A. That’s a....difficult question lol. Honestly, I thought of just doing an audio recording and uploading it because it I didn’t really know how to put it into words, but then I realized that most people probably wouldn’t wanna listen to that lol. So here we are.

I had the ending scene in mind before The Pact even became a thing. I knew I had a series that I wanted to end with baking cookies. (weird, I know.) It didn’t exactly go how I planned, but I remember having the thought while writing Spooked (when I thought I was just writing a one shot) that it would be nice for y/n to be with Yoongi. I just instantly felt like they had a connection, when he was the first one she went toward. From then on out, I always kinda kept Yoongi in the background.

I had a crisis about halfway through (right before Jin’s date) when there were a bunch of people rooting for Tae, because he hadn’t even been on my radar. But then Jin’s date went much better than I thought it was going to/received better, so I think that got me back on track.

But from the beginning, Yoongi was #1. (I wrote this in the back of my Career’s notebook lol) when I was trying to figure out for myself who wrote the pact.

So yeah! There you have it! Just an FYI, I had to physically restrain myself from throwing caution to the wind and making Jin endgame. Especially when so many of you were on board. :( However, the survey helped because Yoongi was the majority of votes (closely followed by Jin & JK) and that showed me that we were still on the right track!

Ngl, my brain stopped working around Wednesday of last week, so writing the finale took FOREVER because nothing would compute. But I’m so happy you guys enjoyed it and reached out to me about it! This really is like a part-time job most days, and I really felt like this series paid off.

wait i wanna hear your judgements on all the milgram characters now because im curious and i feel like it actually says a lot about a person. if you wanna

well first i want to say that i'm not super knowledgeable on all the theories and analyses out there so there might be stuff i'm missing that would change my opinions. i am still kinda lost on where exactly you get access to all the milgram content so there's a lot i'm not in the know on. second is that i don't think it's really fair to judge whether or not the characters are forgivable especially since we don't know all the details yet. i obviously learned about milgram a bit late but i would've voted innocent for all of them honestly because like. they all caused the death of another person for sure which is obviously Bad. but i feel like we don't really have a right to form opinions on whether they're forgivable or not. there's still a lot we don't know about their individual circumstances and even if we did know everything we're not even involved other than as outside observers so idk it just doesn't fully sit right. even if they are fictional characters created specifically to be judged by us. so yeah i would've voted them all innocent and i probably will for trial 2 too unless shit starts hitting the fan. of course i do have opinions about each of the characters beyond that and i will be glad to share them 💯

my favorites first. haruka is. scrunkly. fr. his presumed crimes are beating that dog to death and drowning/choking his brother which i think on a personal level is one of the worse crimes out of the characters? but i like him so it's okay. i'm interested in learning more about his situation and character his first trial video left me wondering about that stuff the most out of all of them. amane. ouugh. religious trauma always gets to me in characters. people who said she needed to get voted guilty so she learns the consequences of her actions or whatever are so annoying... like yeah sure that stuff is important i guess but. you think the best way to teach morals to a 12 yo raised in a cult is by slapping her with the guilty and unforgivable label after she gets kidnapped to a strange prison??? while not even knowing what might happen to her after she is voted guilty????? seriously what did they do to her i might kill. anyways. futa. he's a twitter user and he has a black and white sense of justice and thinks he has the authority to judge someone as good or bad. none of those are points in his favor but idk i still really like his character for some reason. i think if he made some friends and stopped going on social media he would be mostly fixed honestly. mu i also really like not for any particular reason... i mean she seems kind of spoiled and whiny but idk. i just like her. being the odd girl out is a relatable experience for me. she's pretty and her song was one of my favorites. these four are the ones i care the most about and want to learn more about

the rest..... i never had any strong feelings towards mahiru in the beginning but i feel kind of bad that she was one of the few that got voted guilty like the way she said things along the lines of if you leave me i'll die and i can't live without you was kind of. uh. but i didn't think her crime seemed that unforgivable especially compared to some of the others that didn't get voted guilty? idk. i mentioned not liking mikoto and i stand by that. i don't really buy into the mental illness/multiple personalities theories and i'll honestly be kind of disappointed if they turn out to be true that's such an overdone and harmful and annoying murderer trope. i think he's just a guy that likes violence and killing and is really good at lying about it after. which is pretty slay for him i guess. it just annoys me how many people latch on to the mental illness thing and it annoys me even more how many people are horny for this guy. they're probably the reason i don't like him actually other than that i don't really have anything against him. i'm not a hardcore yuno fan like she doesn't make me normal but i do love and support her. i like kotoko too the vigilante type thing i'm pretty sure she has going on is interesting but. i know i said i would vote them all innocent but i don't love that her getting voted innocent is leading her into thinking she's working with es behind the scenes i don't think she's that trustworthy. shidou. organ harvester possibly? medical malpracticer most definitely. i don't know i guess i'd want more details before saying anything else i don't have many thoughts about him with what we have right now. i don't really like kazui on a personal level but his story does interest me i want to know more details. es is there. i'm curious about what the story there is and all but they honestly don't interest me that much beyond the standard amount.

anyways this has been my opinions on the milgram characters. it's not super in depth i just kinda briefly touched on my main thoughts because this answer is already too long i am so sorry. but. yeah. i hope you still think im cool

This is basically a huge infodump on my thoughts about the first episode, because I doubt y’all want to sift through my trauma-ridden ramblings. I’ll make another post for the rest. This is just everything not related to the IW stuff/my reaction to that. It’s general thoughts, theories, musings.

1. When Loki gets first taken into the TVA. Is that Peggy Carter in the background? Others have suggested it might be. What would that mean??? Will we see the TVA fix the mess the Russos made with Steve/Peggy (not likely) or is it just a lookalike? Who knows..

2. A skrull at the main intake desk! Idk not super relevant just interesting!

3. I’m kind of glad they changed the... uncomfortable scene... with the robot burning his clothes off. He gets more time to react to seeing the machine itself, and he seems more shocked (”Now.. H-hang on just a minute.”) than angry (”Now hang on just a minute!”) i still feel.. horrible for him, i’m glad nobody Saw him and that the machine didn’t grab the clothes off, but still. Ehhh.. uncomfortable.

He is beautiful though, don’t get me wrong - I’d just prefer a shirtless Loki scene where he wants to be shirtless? let him do what he wants with his body?? he’s probably felt so out of control of his body, from being jotun to falling through space that any invasion of privacy like that hits extra deep...

That being said, I recognize the utility of the scene for the narrative - his lack of control, his literally being stripped of what he was before.

4. WHO IS THE MAN WITH THE CAT. What is his name. I love that he has a mug with his cat on it. But I want to know more. Who is he?

4.1 WHY DIDNT YOU LET LOKI PET THE CAT Please,,, I am begging you,,, let loki pet the cat and have something react kindly to him and purr all happily at his scratching behind their ears plea s e

5. The info sheet. Now this is just a little nitpicky tidbit, but in a previous promo they listed Loki’s height as 6′4 ft and weight as 525 lbs. This is taken directly from the comics if I’m not mistaken. However, in the actual show he’s listed as 6′2 (Tom’s height and Loki’s presumed height) but I don’t remember if his weight is the same. Is Loki 6′2? 6′4? please let me know i want to know how smol i am in comparison

6. His little aggressive shaking of the ticket at the guard makes me giggle each time.

7. The fact the turnstile hits so low on him reminds me,, I am short compared to him. Those things hit my stomach/waist. That one hit his legs. I am once again asking Loki to pick me up.

8. The cartoon with Miss Minutes introducing the TVA is wonderful, I love the art style especially. But it raises questions about Variants... I guess Variants can just, pop out of nowhere? Any action could be the wrong one? And then once you commit the wrong action you either get returned or pruned? Yikes??? And THIS ties into another thing later!

9. The trial scene. I have a hunch - a feeling, a suspicion. That one of three things may be true.

A. The Time-Keepers never actually existed. They’re fabricated, and now whoever runs the TVA is actually using the excuse of “The Time-Keepers decree it so!!!” to carry out whatever They think is right. The fact we haven’t seen the Time-Keepers makes me.. suspicious...

B. The Time-Keepers existed, but they have since passed on, however that may have happened. Now someone is doing the same as above, using the excuse of the Time-Keepers apparent dictations to run things.

C. The Time-Keepers do exist, and do run the timeline/TVA, but maybe they’re not infallible? Maybe the TVA info video is lying or incomplete in some way? Idk I just feel like, something about the TVA and how they run things has to be wrong. It has to? Something is off. Again, this will tie into another thought later...

I have no idea if any of these are actually true! But Loki’s questions of “Who’s in charge here? What do they do? What do you do?” punctuated by laughter leads me to believe he’s suspecting something too, or perhaps just trying to figure this mess out.

10. Seiðr/Magic. We see in this scene, Loki’s magic (”powers”) don’t work in the TVA. (and a quick side note, did he have to Flex like that? do you have to make me see Loki’s bare arms Flex like that? be still my heart. anyway please get that collar off of him and let him rest for five minutes) This makes me wonder.. Why isn’t Loki in his Jotun form? His pale skin and blue eyes are decided by magic, are they not? I suppose this is 2012, so perhaps Odin’s magic is keeping Loki looking like that. But if magic doesn’t work in the TVA, why would his spell reach so far? Clearly Loki’s magic isn’t what’s doing it. How is Loki not appearing as a Jotun? Is his Jotun form repressed - is pale skin his default now, rather than something hidden by magic? I need answers!

11. he sounds so scared about being “reset” please dont hurt him,,

12. cALLING LOKI A PUSSYCAT? (lokitty confirmed) I think Mobius was goading him (Mobius strikes me.. As extremely clever. He’s trying to push Loki’s buttons to see who he’s dealing with. At least, I hope so. Because if he really meant that “You were born to cause pain and suffering and death... All so that others can achieve the best versions of themselves.” and that line about killing Frigga??? No no no he is not guilty. He had no way of knowing what would happen. It wasn’t right to send Algrim up to Asgard (i think algrim wouldve found the way up anyway) but there was no intent to hurt Frigga. I really hope you’re trying to goad him, Mobius, because if you believe that I trust you much less. anyway i digress) but wow is he pushing Loki’s buttons a lot. I can’t... Blame him entirely, I understand he’s trying to make sure Loki’s on his side, maybe I’m just too soft for Loki idk. But some of that was very cruel to say. /:

12.1 AND ANOTHER THING ABOUT MOBIUS. That scene with the girl in the church?? Did that little girl kill the men? Is that young Sylvie? Or is she using an illusion to make herself look young and innocent? What’s going on!!!!

13. LOKI SNATCHING THE LITTLE TIME-TWISTER DEVICE AND STOWING IT IN HIS POCKET.... POCKET....... sorry sometimes i get so caught up about loki that i just say random words in between little noises and squeals,,, i am a silly thing

14. CASEY. CASEY??? That whole exchange is funny. Poor Loki, just trying to intimidate this guy so he can escape but - Casey doesn’t know what a fish is. to be fair.... thor doesn’t seem to know what a raccoon is... right?

15. That bit with the infinity stones is kind of funny until you realize

A. Natasha died for a paperweight

B. Tony died from paperweights

C. Loki was tortured for paperweights

D. Oh, and Gamora died for a paperweight too. And Vision. Need I go on?

Then it becomes less of exclusively “haha funny” and now it’s a mix of funny and pain and gosh, is that a good way to sum up being a Marvel/Loki fan sometimes...

16. Loki gazing at the timeline all “Is this the most powerful thing in the universe?” or something, i’m sorry i don’t remember exactly... made me think of a meme and i shall make it presently.

17. I love that Loki got to see examples of how his family loves him but the fact he’s all “I can’t go back.” really just breaks me. It’s like he can finally see they love him after all of this mess, and now he doesn’t have the chance. Please, please let him be happy. Give him some relief. This is the Loki that just came off finding out about being Jotun, falling from the Bifrost, encountering Thanos, attacking Earth, facing defeat, and now he’s being thrashed around in this wild place and has just found out he inadvertently caused Frigga’s death (he did not kill her: his actions, by mistake, lead to her murder, let me be very clear) AND Odin will die AND all the rest... And he wants to be with them.

18. Loki’s reaction to Thor suggesting the hug makes me soft. Please I want to hug this little mischief man so so so bad-

19. Skipping over the iw parts! That’s for another post because this one will be grossly long anyway.

20. “I don’t enjoy hurting people.” and “It's part of the illusion. It's the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear. A desperate play for control.” was all so, so validating. I’ve been trying to argue on Loki’s behalf for almost a solid decade. Seeing the show recognize that Loki’s not all just violence and hurting for “fun”, that he’s not unhinged and bloodthirsty.. Is so nice. It’s just so, so comforting. and it gives me hope for future episodes that they won’t go the route of “oh haha loki bullied and mistreated and stabbed thor for years!!! :)” loki cries during basically every fight with Thor and you want me to believe he stabs Thor for fun? absolutely not.

21. Theory.. Just another hunch.. So we know a fugitive variant, aka Loki, is running amok. Refer back to 8 and 9.C. What if the Time-Keepers never actually fixed the timeline into a single timeline? What if there are other timelines, and these different Loki variants have hopped over to the current one? Or, maybe the Time-Keepers did fix the timeline into a single one, and these Lokis are remnants from that huge time-war at the beginning? Time runs differently in relative spaces, they may have Just Left that war from their perspective!

I say Lokis and not Loki because we’re pretty sure there’s Female/Lady Loki, Old Man/King Loki, and possibly Young/Kid Loki. That’s at least three. From the peeks of Asgard and NYC we’ve seen from the trailers, I think we’re also getting an Asgardian King!Loki and Midgardian King/Vote!Loki. (unless our dearest variant is hopping into timelines and situating into them, but I doubt Mobius would let that happen..?) That’s five.

To further support this, keep in mind, I believe recently six (i think 6 regular and 6 rare...) different funko pops were announced for the series? I’m not sure if they’re in addition to the Loki and Mobius already released. If they are, there’s enough room for each Loki and maybe a TVA agent. One of the pops is supposed to have a buddy/companion I think? Maybe they’re making the cat guy into one, or maybe there’s something else (Throg, anyone?).

22. That is totally Lady Loki/Sylvie at the end by the way. Has to be. But why does she want the reset devices? Why did she snatch that TVA Hunter? Again, WHAT’S GOING ON
